The Phase Basics
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・。.。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
I’ve heard so much varying information on The Phase going around here lately, I wanted to understand the concept from the source. I spent hours reading the extremely long textbook from the original creator, and would like to summarize some basic information that will help clarify what The Phase is.
As always, it’s important to remember this is just one way of explaining and exploring these out-of-body phenomena and should not be taken as a holy grail. I always encourage everyone to listen to their intuition and choose methods that align with their natural strengths.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・。.。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
✩ What is The Phase? ✩
The Phase is a state of consciousness between wakefulness and REM sleep where individuals can experience lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, and other paranormal phenomena.
Tumblr media
Diagram from The Phase textbook by Michael Raduga.
Phase states includes lucid dreaming, astral projection, sleep paralysis, and other OOBE. If you become lucid in a dream, or are able to induce sleep paralysis - congrats you’re already in a phase state, and don’t need to use The Phase Method.
This specific concept of The Phase was introduced by Michael Raduga. He has worked with groups of people for years helping them get into phase states with his Phase Method, and proven his techniques to be very effective.
✩ What is the Phase Method? ✩
The Phase Method is a series of techniques used to get into a phase state. It uses the natural awakenings we have in the early morning hours - where sleep is lighter and REM is more frequent - to try to induce a phase state.
✩ What are the steps to the Phase Method? ✩
Step 1: Sleep 6 hours and wake up with (or without) an alarm clock. Waking up around this time will cause lighter and more frequent REM sleep, which will make it easier to induce phase states.
Note: it’s not necessary to use an alarm clock if you already wake up frequently during the night. You can honestly just skip this step and go right to step 2, make your intention before bed, and using every natural awakening to induce a phase state. There are many successful astral projectors who use a simplified version of the phase method based on this idea, without disrupting their sleep cycles, which I will link in the resources below.
Step 2: Go back to sleep with intention. What do you want to do? Lucid dream? Astral travel? Enter the void? Decide what you want and what you will do to induce it.
Examples:
“When I wake up, I will remain still and focus on the blackness behind my eyes, which will take me to the void, where I will affirm for my desires.”
“When I fall asleep, I will enter a lucid dream. I will create a portal in my dream that will take me to my DR”.
Step 3: Perform a “separation technique” - a way for your mind to move your awareness away from your body. This can be done in various ways such as: peering into the darkness behind your eyes, listening to noises in your head, affirming your desires, making an imagined movement like sitting up, rolling over, or pulling a rope to disconnect your astral body from your physical.
Step 4+5: Repeat techniques until something happens. If nothing happens after a few minutes, go back to sleep and try again at the next natural awakening.

Complete CIA Analysis and Assessment of The Gateway Process ~ Page 25 Found After 38 Years!
Hey everyone! You know how in the CIA Gateway Assessment docs (aka what people call the shifting docs / astral projection docs / hemisync docs) on page 24 they reach an incredibly pivotal point and then all of a sudden it skips to page 26? and all attempts to obtain it from the CIA have been immediately denied? It turns out the Monroe Institute, the creators of the Gateway Process, had it in storage this whole time! I've found someone who gained access to the elusive page 25 and I now present to u the complete original unaltered Analysis and Assessment of The Gateway Process, xoxoxoxooxoxoxo

do the starclan angels get to taste the culinary evolutions their descendants cook up? do they ever watch their great grandkids salting something and think "damn that looks agreeable"
Sadly there are downsides to being dead. They can still eat and cook the prey in StarClan offerings, but they can't taste of the mortal plane any longer.
There is ONE exception. Sacrificial offerings can be tasted. Tasting these offerings as a spirit can sometimes have... unintended effects.
Nothing magical, but suddenly, it hits you again that the afterlife isn't the same as being alive. There's flavors you haven't experienced in years. Mass returns to your lips and paws. You realize that you aren't breathing, and for a twinge of a second, your chest surges with the warmth of a beating heart.
Angels who died young are usually alarmed and unsettled by eating such offerings, and won't partake more than once. To others it's a comfort. Many cry after their first experience, so perhaps, unknowingly for the living, it's why it's so common to make food sacrifices during droughts.

Hiii! I was wondering if it possible to shift and still be awake? Or have those dreams people have where they think they already woke up and started their day but they’re still dreaming?
hello!!
i'm sorry for answering this so late... i replied earlier but forgot to post it 😭.
in short: yes! you can shift while awake. lots of people have reported doing so or have had success with awake methods. i think one of the most popular is the julia method.
for the second question i'm not quite sure what you mean. if you mean whether false awakenings are possible i can confirm that they are as i've had a few before. in relation to lucid dreaming those can occur especially if you've tried to lucid dream. i tend to do a reality check every time i wake up just to make sure it's not a false awakening (which actually made me lucid during one of them!)

for my newer mutuals,
i was told i had an allergy to lidocaine when i was 18 after i reacted poorly during a dental procedure. i have told every single medical professional that i had a lidocaine allergy since then.
it was not until i was in labor with my daughter, begging for an epidural after 24 hours of unmedicated (induced) labor that my anesthesiologist walks in and breaks the news: "you are not eligible for an epidural because of your allergy"
my doctor never mentioned that to me!
i was only 1.5cm dilated after nearly an entire day of being in labor and she was in mild distress. her heart rate dropped too much every so often. i had had a close call and was admitted at 35 weeks because of an abnormal fetal heart rate (post csection i would find out that her cord was around her neck and probably had been for weeks). my options were: keep laboring with zero pain meds and risk her stress getting worse or go under general anesthesia for a csection (if i couldnt have an epidural, that meant i had to be put under).
in the span of a few minutes, my entire birth plan changed. i was having a csection, i would be by myself with my husband waiting outside the OR, and i would be asleep for the entire thing. i didn't meet my daughter until i woke up 30 minutes post birth. i was so fucked up by the drugs, i wasn't lucid at all. i remember waking up and feeling this rush of emotion when i saw her in my husbands arms, but even that felt groggy. i don't feel like i experienced my feelings because i was simply too drugged up.
--
I received an intradermal allergy test when she was about 1 years old because Universe, Spirit, and G-d help me, I will do everything I can to not have a repeat birth like the one I had. If it's my fate, fine, but I can't do that again without exhausting all options. That test is much more accurate than a skin prick test and it came back negative for an allergy to lidocaine, so that is great.
But now that I'm back in NY (and before we ttc again) I need to know what my status is on that allergy 10000% before I get pregnant. I'm going to ask an allergist if I should do a repeat test or a more in depth test before being able to claim that I do not* have an allergy to lidocaine.

i wonder how exactly do you reach the dreaming (since when you're not one of the Endless capital E you can't side step into any world of your choosing, especially since it's not in Reality capital R)
personally i love the idea that its in between the phantom neurons you see when you close your eyes when trying to sleep, the colors and lights behind your eyes that flash and pulse when you're trying to sleep but not quite there yet, when you're aware of that your eyelids are closes and the darkness you're seeing comes from your own head, and the imprints of your own eyes roving are there if you look close enough
I think between that color and darkness, if you stared at it long enough, is where the Dreaming lies, and once you go slack and sleepy you fall through the cracks of light and arrive

I've been looking more into lucid dreaming, but I've hit a wall. I can become lucid occasionally, but the real obstacle is the dream itself— oftentimes a scenario is already playing out, and interrupting it just doesn't feel possible. How do you stop a running dream plot to direct your own scenario? Do you just announce "Cut!!" like a director and imagine the people and scene relaxing, like they're actual actors and props for a movie, and then going up to them and telling them that they're gonna play a different scene now, with a new script and new set?
I tried changing things with willpower— it didn't work. The dream just broke down and I woke up. I tried walking away from the current scenario to find some empty space— it didn't work. Some fucking guy shot me in the face with a gun and I woke up. Do I have to act in bizarre ways just so the dream won't startle and buck me off its back? I guess I do have to at this point. What could go wrong? I already got shot by a dream construct. It can't get any worse than this.
If anyone has any advice or personal anecdotes related to this, I'd love to hear about it!

Lark's Shifting Experience 6/14/22
Hello shifting friends!!!
So.... I successfully shifted last night.
It was crazy!!! Here is the short version of my experience: (Under Keep Reading I'll be more detailed!!)
Which method?: Lucid Dreaming Method (you get into a lucid dream and create a portal into your DR)
How did you fall asleep? Did you meditate beforehand? See angel numbers? Drink a lot of water? : No!! I didn't do any of that!! I didn't have a huge sign or experience anything unique beforehand. The only thing was when I laid down I said to myself, "I'm gonna shift tonight." and laid in a somewhat starfish position. But I fell asleep so fast I didn't have time to meditate or do affirmations. And then it just happened!!
Which DR did you go to?: I went to my One Piece DR as Lark Normandy!!
How long were you there?: I was only in my DR for what felt like 10 mins and then I woke up.
What happened in your DR?: I was in a dream and realized I was dreaming so I quickly made a portal and jumped through it into my One Piece DR. I opened my eyes and was on a ship with my captain and crewmates and we landed and explored an island.
What happened when you woke up?: I felt totally normal. I didn't think much of my dream until a few moments after I fully woke up I was like "Holy shit. I shifted." Almost didn't believe it and it took me a bit to process!!! (I'm still processing)
Overall: it was a very short experience, but it was incredible!!!!!
Okay so much to tell ahhhh.... I guess I'll start from the beginning!
For starters, I do not actively practice shifting anymore!! I haven't tried to shift for like a month now. I still believe in it and everything it just hasn't been my focus for awhile. (which is totally okay, take shifting breaks, it's good for you /gen) I of course still stay hydrated, I sometimes still meditate to relax myself, and every now and then I see angel numbers, but I haven't been actively trying to shift or anything.
So yesterday (6/13) I binged watched One Piece episodes with my husband and we were talking about it all day and I was watching meme videos about the anime and overall, just did a lot of One Piece related things the whole day. (Ya'll obvi know by now how that anime has me in a fucking chokehold and I'm not even sorry lmao)
Then it was time to go to bed. I was a little high and super relaxed and in a good mood, so when I laid down I randomly had the thought of, "I'm going to shift to One Piece tonight." I laid in a loose/relaxed starfish position but before I could even do any affirmations I passed the fuck out lol
I start dreaming and it's pretty normal, until someone mentions my grandma and I stopped and was like "My grandma is dead. She passed away years ago. Why is she alive now?" And that's when I realized, "Holy shit this is a dream!!!" Without missing a beat, I snapped my fingers and made this glowing white and purple portal. I said, "Here we go!" And YEETED myself through the portal. (I've never jumped so quickly headfirst into something)
When I opened my eyes I was in a row boat with my captain, Luffy, and a few crewmates, Nami and Zoro.
{ I gotta take a pause and say..... ZO R O. Being able to see him. To hear him. To be next to him. I was there. I was RIGHT there. The love of my life was just as handsome in person as he is in the show. Just being next to him was incredible. }
We were sitting in this small row boat and the waves were rough and choppy. Luffy was telling us to hold on as we were heading straight for an island up ahead.
This moment is when it felt so real I can't even properly explain: As the ship was rocking and thunder was roaring, a wave came up and splashed me in the face. It splashed me. And I FELT it. It was real. I was real. The water was real. I remember vividly wiping the water from my face and I felt how cold and wet it was. I can't stress enough how real it was. If you took a glass of water right now and splashed it onto your face, that's what it felt like in that moment. That was when I knew I had successfully shifted. I knew it wasn't just a crazy dream... It. Was. Real.
Afterwards, we finally landed on the island. Zoro and I went to explore through a few caves and were hiding from some monsters/bad guys. It gets a little fuzzy because shortly after I woke up! Like I said, it was a pretty short experience but none-the-less so amazing.
One moment I was Lark exploring an island, and then I blinked and I was back in my normal bed with my cats and husband next to me. It didn't hit me all at once what actually happened. My brain was still processing and questioning it. Was that an actual shift? Was it just a super lucid dream? Did I just make the whole thing up? All these doubts swam through my mind but after about an hour of being awake I stopped and said "Holy shit. I shifted. I actually shifted."
That's really all there is to tell!!! I told Lily about it immediately and then came on here to share with y'all!! I'm definitely gonna be shifting more and practicing different methods again. I have SOO much motivation now it's insane, so I'll keep y'all updated with my journey and whenever I shift again, you'll be the first to know!
Thanks for reading and anyone who hasn't shifted yet, DO NOT GIVE UP!! I started shifting November 2020 and it took me until June 2022 to fully shift. Shifting is real!! It WILL happen to you!! I can't promise when, but it WILL. Don't lose hope!!
All the love ~Lark

#lucid dreaming is the most epic and teriffying thing sometimes#I've been building it up over the years and i feel like im getting to that point where when i feel that space between sleep and alertness#i can push myself into whatever is happening and mostly be in control#for me it literally feels like im walking through a heavy veil#like that tingling static you feel when your foot falls asleep#its like you're detaching from your body and going somewhere else#i can't pick how my dream turns out i kind of just walk through and deal with whatever I'm dealing with#earlier while napping i did it and i was like in my 50s or so checked my mirror and saw my wrinkles then i went out to my car#lived somewhere else entirely and i get in the car and im going down the highway and I'm in the left lane going the speed limit and this#older guy with curlyish white hair and a peppered beard black sunglasses and a white dress shirt is driving a convertible#and he looks over at me and gets pissed that im “trying to pass him” and proceeds to try and run me off the road#my car starts to begin to flip i can feel this whoosh of air in my face and hair and right before i start tumbling i shoot up from bed#like ive had an exorcism and my hearts going like 90 bpm#it felt so real like you couldn't distinguish if it was a dream even if you tried hard enough#touch taste sight smell its all there#i stg for me lucid dreaming feels like im highjacking the bodies of alternative mes in the universe and using them as temp avatars#to experience some weird shit#lmao 😂#I don't have apnea or anything else like that so not worried there#but shit man#these have been getting pretty intense over the last few months as ive gotten better at it#ted talk info dump#no magenta here#i feel like i need a safe word for these types of posts#magenta has already taken the mantle of complaining/venting

I had some crack-of-dawn insomnia last night, which led to falling back to sleep lightly enough that I did a bit of lucid dreaming. (I can't remember now much of what I did when lucid except that I decided to try flying as low as possible for practice in getting over my fear of flying uncontrollably high, which, yes, is an actual fear that I have during dreams which inhibits me.)
Anyway, on halfway waking from the lucid dream sequence, it occurred to me that I should come up with some kind of fiction novel with a vague, half-asleep, half-formed idea involving a world in which people have found a way to experience share realities within lucid dreams. In this universe, society has been reshaped in a way that everyone is sharing experiences and doing things primarily in lucid dreams and are mostly isolated and inactive while awake. Very little is actually happening in people's lives outside of their brains. And this could somehow convey a message about my fears of our culture getting more and more introverted and isolating and what I've called "supremacy of internal experiences".
But it's still very much a half-formed idea of the kind I might come up with while half asleep (this was not like one of those ideas from actual dreams that seems brilliant within the dream and when first waking up but turns out to be mostly nonsense: I knew even when conceiving it that it wasn't fully coherent.) It would likely turn out to be a knock-off of Inception, and I probably wouldn't have felt inspired to think of fictitious universes like this if I weren't reading Almost Nowhere.

Me, deep in a nightmare about being stalked by an evil flaming tree that will turn me blind if I look at it: Wait... who are the members of Maroon 5?
The evil tree: ... what?
Me: *wakes up and googles 'Maroon 5 Members'*
*there are six of them*
Me: *goes back to sleep and looks at the tree thing* Yeah, you can just take me now, nothing in life matters.
Evil tree: WHAT JUST HAPPENED???

"You can ask any question in your conscious dream — and receive an answer in just about any form. It may be written on the wall, spoken to you from the sky, or a new dream scene may materialize before your eyes. The answers provided by the inner self may sometimes surprise you, coming from an extraordinary hidden secondary awareness."

Leaving the Body
Tumblr media
So you have finally done it.. Again 3rd attempt.. Mind awake body asleep. I just can't seem to launch out of my body into the next dimension. I feel the rush of vibrational energy running thru my whole body.. Loud buzzing in the ears... Is someone watch television I can hear a television playing. I feel something watch me in the corner.. It's all dark.. I ignore. I focus with my mind.. Mind over matter, I tell myself this, nothing's going to stop me, I fight, I use my mind and roll myself out of my body.. I feel it I'm rolling out I feel my body, but a strong force is pulling me back in. I use my mind and continue to fight I'm.. Out I quickly get as far away as I can from my real body . My vision is blurry and dim its haze but im finally out...
ROLL OUT TECHNIQUE
When you reach the state of mind awake body asleep also known as sleep paralysis that's the perfect opportunity to leave the body. Leaving the body requires a huge mount of mental energy and this is developed through meditation. One time I left my body by enduring sleep paralysis 3 times in an hour and it was mentally draining.
Alot of people reach this state and get stuck as they can't seem to get out, this is because the real body is like the Earth. It has a strong gravitational pull and pulls you back into your body everytime you try leave it locks you in place so you feel like something is sitting on you or paralysed while you are awake when you are not.
Imagine a Rocketship on the launch pad blasting off into space.. Thata the amount of powers needed to escape Earth's gravity and launch into space. Now we understand a bit of the concept and now I'll explain the easiest technique to launch.
I normally enduce sleep paralysis while lying flat on my back. Once you are in the state of mind awake and body asleep use your mind and focus. Put the focus on you forehead and then use your mind forehead and pretend to turn and roll to the left or right turn as hard as you can.
If you are turning left and use your mind to use your right hand to reach out and crawl out as you roll left. You will feel heavy and something pulling you back keep pushing and don't think and you will hear a pop or crackle, you are basically out of your body now.. keep going now continue to fight the pull and get as far away from the body and use your mind to pass thru the wall. Congratulations you have done it.
Welcome to the Etheral plane of existence.
