So yeah, basically Ludo asks "did I have any part to play in this?" And Toffee's just thinking "buddy, every step of this would've been a million times easier without you" but he doesn't have time to say that so he's just like "no"

Interesting that how soundly Star Vs villains are dealt with seams to track somewhat to how hard their fighting to change things for monsters, because Toffee(a "Magneto like" villain, apparently) is a greasy smear under a piller and Ludo is fucking fine.
(as for some of the other big villains, specifically ones they directly fight? Meteora (trying to reclaim power she feels she was unjustly denied) gets turned into a baby(current identity stripped from her) and Mina(actively committing genocide) gets to wonder off into the woods)

(During Princess Quasar Caterpillar and the Magic Bell)
Dennis: Enough! No more evil plots!
Ludo: Uhh that was clearly a scheme, not a plot.

“Am I a monster?”
Day 19. I have to congratulate @sagesilentfire , they not only made me like this character that I never thought I would, but they made me relate to him in a way I didn't think I could.
I never liked Ludo in the original series, since the beginning I disliked this little man, and I don't know why. In the beginning I had fun with him, mostly with him getting beaten, he was a fun villain. Then that thing with Toffee happened, he was thrown in a portal to space, then found the other half of the wand and I swear, I was irritated the whole episode. I just couldn't care less about him discovering how to survive by himself, finding allies and all. I only watched because it was important for Toffee's plans, that's all.
At first when I started reading those episodes as chapters in SaMatFoe the feeling was the same, I really didn't want to read them and delayed actually getting to them. But then came "Ludo in space" and for the first time I felt sad for him. The last scene with him screaming to his friend to come back and later on crying only to get back on his feet and continue working. It was so sad.
And then "Finding yourself", I think that was the chapter he became one of my favorite characters, the scene with Dennis talking to him, trying to convince him to go with them, that he didn't need to be alone and miserable to find himself, that he already had suffered enough, and he finally complying to go back home. I wanted to wrap him in a blanket and let him sleep in a very comfy bed.
And since this drawing is based on his last chapter "Water's Out", let me say how much I love that his actions have consequences. Having people still hating and being afraid of him even though he's actually trying to be better, him recognizing he made mistakes and yet still having a shallow understanding of how much damage he caused, trying to move on, forgetting that everyone has their own pace and may not have forgiven him yet, and may never do, getting angry and end up slipping into his old habits.
This is what I call a redemption arc.
I can't wait to see where we are going next, especially with that cliffhanger(little man is going to be manipulated again :( ).
But that's it. See you tomorrow.
Ps: I changed Bearnicorn armor a little, I just wasn't feeling it.
