You and Loki are best friends and the unspoken feelings between the two of you seem to be escalating. You think that perhaps, sometime soon one of you will cave and confess, until Loki comes to you and tells you he needs your help to find a ring for the woman he’s about to marry. You’re absolutely heartbroken but you say that you’ll help him because you’ve always been there for him. You spend the day with him albeit reluctantly, ring shopping and asking him why he’s brought you to help rather than the actual woman or her relatives. He brushes it off with a seemingly legitimate excuse. Afterwards, he asks you to join him for a fancy dinner for the evening, and you say yes thinking this is going to be his goodbye. You dress in a drop dead gorgeous gown made of tearful revenge, ready to show him what he’ll be missing. When you arrive, the only people in the restaurant are you and Loki. He’s on one knee with glassy eyes, asking you to be his for all eternity.
