AVENGERS UNIVERSITY is a discord based, 18+ (mun and muse), canon characters only, college au roleplay group set within the MARVEL UNIVERSE.   Avengers University is the only school in the world specifically for superheroes. Founded in the 1950s, the school is famous for notable alumni that went on to become some of the greatest heroes in history. Each of the students compete to be the best and earn their place in the Avengers, the most prestigious and renown superhero group on Earth. After a scandal saw a change in management, the new dean, Val De Fontaine, took over the university with a new vison for the students: commercialization.

Wanted to put it out there that I am part of a great DC and Marvel roleplaying community on Discord and we are always looking for new writers!

The server is set in a continuity, where the main DC and Marvel universes were combined into one universe a few years ago in order to save them both from collapse. Just a few things about the server if you might be interested…

-We are a 16+ server and don't do NSFW roleplay.

-We only accept characters canon to the main DC and Marvel universe (meaning no OCs and no alternate universe or future characters, with a couple exceptions like Power Girl and Miles Morales Spiderman)

-Legacy character's availability (like the West twins) is dependent on the roleplayers of the parents.

-Proshippers DNI (no batcest or the like)

-We do not tolerate Racism, Ableism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Xenophobia etc.

it's been 14 years since the WILDFIRE VIRUS overtook the world, changing it for good. 14 years of change-- of people trying to find their way in the aftermath of such catastrophic tragedy. and in that time, across the world, different groups of survivors have come and gone. but some still remain. and somehow, among all the pain and suffering, hope burns on. for life, for the future. and even still for some, hope for a cure.

WILDFIRE HQ takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, over a decade after the initial outbreak. taking primary inspiration from the walking dead universe, we welcome many other fandoms, including the 100. we pick up in 2024 in the aftermath of wars within different factions across the united states. lives are changed, but hope remains. and now, now is the time for new groups to finally connect and see what kind of progress they can continue to make in remaking the world.

I made such a stupid mistake.

I should’ve given up. I should’ve given in no matter if I thought I was right or wrong, it didn’t matter. I should’ve been the deferring, quiet lady my mother taught me to be. Then maybe I’d be with the only home I have now.

My flowers won’t bloom anything but black. The only things I can coax to do anything else are thorns and white lilies. Death flowers.

I stopped being formally religious when I was twelve. But I haven’t prayed this hard in years. Haven’t lit the candles or said my rosary.

Powers: Crime and Punishment (+explanation is down in the post)

Let's start with her powers, she was born with her mother's powers, like the ability to channel magical energy into her hand in a technique or projecting this energy to devastating effect, and she has the ability to travel through the astral plane, like Doctor Strange, and is just as powerful in her astral form as she is in the real world. Since she's the daughter of Goddess of Death, Hela, Ailis has some control over the dead as well. This means she can command an army of the souls who reside in her realm, just like her mother.

But her TRUE ability is Crime and Punishment, as she likes to call it, the ability to kill anyone who has committed at least one Crime, especially murder, in their life, by touching them, Ailis can use her ability to kill anyone she thinks is guilty of a crime, or a sin. Since sins are a very vague concept and Ailis herself has a very different moral compass than her cousins, the guilt of the target of her ability is the one who killed them. Her ability is closer to the concept of judgement, which makes her the judge, the jury, and the executioner. She thinks human beings in general are sinners, so her powers pretty much has no limits. The only conditions for her powers to work would be that she judges a person guilty and is able to physically touch them.

Her ability is also one that is able to manipulate a person's mental state. As long as she finds out the crime of whomever she wants to, she can give out an appropriate punishment, and sometimes, there may or may not be a requirement in her target's mental state.

To get to her personality, Ailis posseses psychopathic and sociopathic traits. Appears calm and confident in dire situations not intimidated by her enemies. An extremely intelligent, arrogant and sinister girl who's easily able to manipulate people. She is also confident enough to leave the others capture her several times. Was nicknamed "demon" by her grandfather Odin and banished from Asgard, after showing him her true nature. Now she lives in Midgard amongst people and...sometimes causing trouble.

As a weapon she uses the blades given from her mother, The Blades of Chaos, they were imbued with primordial fire, which allowed them to ignite with every attack that the user performed. The Blades' chains would stretch out for a set distance with each attack, allowing for fluid movement no matter who wielded them.
