So…. This might have been some of the reason I was so excited to draw this chapter.

If any of y’all aren’t familiar with the figures Din is talking to here’s who they are:

The first figure that appears to Din is Tarre Viszla, the first Jedi Mandalorian that actually built the Dark saber. There aren't really any good cannon images of him so I just kinda made up my own.

The second figure of course the lovely Darth Maul. He won the Dark saber in combat against Pre Viszla and was technically the Mand'alor. All to try and lure in Obi Wan... 'cause Maul is a petty bitch. 

The the last figure is Satine Kryze, Duchess of Mandalore and older sister of Bo Katan. She never wielded the saber but was killed by it in the hands of Darth Maul.

God can you imagine if the Zygerria arc happened after Raydonia?? Maul just shows up on Kadavo to recruit the Zygerrians into the Shadow Collective while the Disaster Squad is there. Maul squinting at Anakin because he knows that's not right even if he can't pinpoint why. Maul immediately pegging Ahsoka as Force-sensitive and rubbing his little hands together because omg free real estate second apprentice. Maul looking at Rex and just going "I want that one too, don't ask me why, I just like its vibes." So he's just another obnoxiously moving part in the Horrible Terrible No Good Very Bad week that is the Zygerria arc meanwhile he's having the time of his life, who knew Zygerrians threw such good parties, while everyone tries to keep him from spotting Obi-Wan.

Idk I just think that adding Maul into the mix would make things 1000% less depressing and instead make it extremely funny
