Being a young woman with Autism can be very hard. Having Autism and other disabilities is a wonderful thing to have because people with Autism have special talents & people who don’t have Autism have special talents too. It’s very important to navigate in life. By navigating including knowing explicit instructions, social skills, independence, communication, focusing on time and attention. There are so many things that people with Autism can learn.

Growing up, I’ve always had a hard time focusing, keeping up with things, following instructions, & managing time. I was always all over the place I never sticked to 1 topic I would go to another topic before even finishing the first one. For those of you who have Autism don’t be ashamed or afraid to express yourself be you because you are wonderful and that’s what makes you special. When I first got diagnosed with Autism I overreacted in a normal way. I felt ashamed because I didn’t want to feel different but now I love myself and know that having Autism is a wonderful gift to have and there is nothing wrong with having it. Never let nobody hold you back, do what’s best for you. You can do anything if you’d just put your mind to it.
