"People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it." George Bernard Show
If you have been following me for a while, you probably noticed that I avoid posting or reblogging quotes, but this one really strikes the chord.
For those of us who get "interrupted", keep doing it. Find and connect with those who do support you, appreciate and cherish you, who are your biggest fans. Even if you are doing it solo, remember, there is always someone out there who will think the same as you.
Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake. -Francis Bacon Sr.
Remember, the world needs your unique sparkle! Go forth and melt procrastination with the fiery heat of your awesome-ness!
I don't know why I prefer to implement change on Mondays. The day I choose to begin an endeavor is arbitrary. And yet... There's just something about Mondays. For me, Monday morning starts a fresh week. And once it's the freaking weekend, Monday isn't even an afterthought. Said concept doesn't exist until Monday becomes Monday morning.
I read somewhere once, that when first cultivating a new habit or routine to achieve a goal, that action should be taken in tiny-daily-steps. Steps so small that they're ridiculously easy to accomplish. For example, dedicating two minutes towards your ultimate goal daily. Chances are that after two minutes you're more likely to continue the task, and if not, you're two minutes closer to achieving the dream.
The tiny-daily-step I choose to take towards my goal today is, finalizing tomorrow's schedule sometime before bed. Hopefully this will help me to better manage my time, organize my tasks, and accomplish my goals. And while I don't care to think of the new start to the week during the weekend, setting aside a few minutes Sunday evening in order to be aware of what Monday morning brings, is an effortless sacrifice for future success.
And if the novelty of today's tiny-daily-step wanes during the week, there's always next Monday. And we do our best to never miss a Monday!
Hello Friday, time to recharge! 🦋✨ As the week winds down, let's find solace in the chaos and embrace the beauty around us. Pour yourself a cup of inspiration and let the butterflies of creativity flutter free.
