• Dating a national heroine have its perks. Mulan is respected and loved, there are few people interested on hurting her or someone she loves. It can be for fearing what my happen to them or due to respect for her acts of courage, but people tend to not mess with you both.

• And you might not by a heroine, but know how to protect yourself. That doesn't mean Mulan will let you do it. She don't think you're weak, but Mulan see no reason to not interfere whenever she's needed.

• And not only from wickedness, people that for whatever reason tried to harm you, but also from mean comments and cruel rumors. She knows what is to no be respected, to be seem as a not enough, and will never let you go through it.

• But at this point Mushu will be way more useful them her. Someone dare to say shit about you and he will be formulating ways to embarrass that person in front of everyone. He's a great planner.

• No one will ever laid a finger on you. Mulan is kind and generous, but only towards people that deserve it. The second someone makes the mention of hurting you, she's ready to fight for your honor like you were a fucking Empress.

• Kiss her cheek after a fight and that brave heroine will be turned into a blush mess. Mulan will use her kimono to try to hide her face. And if you ever say you feel safer around her... be aware she won't be able to move for a few minutes.

• Mulan will protect you as long as you live, just as she will never cease to be ashamed of any show of gratitude.

Of course!

Tadashi

He was walking out with Cass and Hiro after having lunch when he looked over and saw you and your crew walking up to an officer

He walked over to see if he could help in some way despite being a civilian and knowing few medical issues

But he jumped in and helped comforting people and helping others to the ambulance when they could walk unless they were in a lot of pain

He heard you talking nearby and stopped when gas was mentioned looking at you and your captain right before you realized it was a methane leak

You ran in to grab a member of a crew as everyone backed up and ran away watching as the building exploded running out with your friend on your shoulders right before the rest of the building exploded

He felt his heart as Cass started crying and Hiro yelled for you as he saw you running and hugging you with tears in his eyes

After making sure your friend was okay you went home with Tadashi and hugged him tightly when you saw him crying telling him you were okay and that he didn't need to be afraid or cry which broke your heart

Mulan

She had come to have lunch with you since you would be off after the call but she felt something in her heart that something wasn't right

She parks and waist watching you help people until you stopped making her get out and jog to your crew as you tried to find your friend Natalie and crew member

She noticed yelling and saw you run in going after you but being grabbed by your crew leader and friend Andrew and pulled back as half the building exploded

She watched terrified and helpless crying as you ran out with nat on your shoulders as the last part of the building exploded behind you thankfully no one was hurt

She is shielded running when she sees you on the ground but is relieved that you're not hurt but terrified of the fear and terror on your face that she will never get out of her mind

As soon as your friend was in the ambulance she ran up and hugged you with tears streaming down her face as she tells you never to scare her like that ever again

You go home giving her a long sweet kiss spending the rest of the evening apologizing until she stopped you with a kiss telling you that it wasn't your fault but she thought she lost you

Shang

He went to meet up with you and his friends to have dinner at your shared place meeting nearby where you and your crew were taking the last call of your shift

He felt a feeling in his gut deciding to go and watch your call seeing Mulan, Yao, Chien-po, and Ling watching on the other side ready to jump in like he was

He saw you freeze and the look of realization and horror cross your face before you ran in the building running down right when mulan heard your captain say it was a methane leak and soon he and his friends helping the injured and warned people to get away

He felt his whole heart drop and his breath stop watching the building explode hearing yao yell out looking to where his friends were looking to see you and a member of your crew on your shoulders

He watches as people help get your crew member in the ambulance and check on you as you sit down hearing your friends yell and hug you before the next thing you knew you were lifted and all you could see was the grey shirt shang was wearing

He held you for awhile both of you going home and after awhile he hugged you again crying telling you he thought he was going to see you dead or plan a funeral without your body

You hugged him back promising him that you would never leave him and that he did have to worry about losing you sealing the deal with a kiss before you both went to bed

Tiana

She was going to get things to make dinner for the two of you and your parents that night noticing your truck and number across the street as she was walking in

She waved at your friend and crew member Jesse walking in and getting everything she needed going over to see you before she left and waited for you at home

She noticed you run in and people running away and yelling immediately feeling everything stop yelling at you as you go in as jesse grabs her and pulls her away from the building

He tells her that your friend and other crew mate Pam was in the building and hadn't come back out after going to do one last sweep for survivors and you realized

The building exploded making her scream in agony crying on the ground not seeing you run out with pam on your shoulders as the rest of the crew put pam in an ambulance while you saw tiana on the ground

"Baby are you okay?!" she looks up crying more hugging you as you took the groceries to the car and you went home as she said how terrified she was of the thought of losing you

You hold her telling your parents what happened rescheduling dinner as you both calmed down from the explosion just holding each other tightly saying I love you and kissing each other's foreheads as you watched tv

Disney Princesses Ideal Partners (Pt. 2)

Request: Can you do a headcanon on what all 14 Disney princess look for in a ideal partner or s/o? Maybe split it in to two parties idk

Pocahontas

Pocahontas would prefer someone who is passionate about the environment, someone who cares about the intricate way humans interact with the natural world

Her tribe is very important to her, so someone who respects and upholds the traditions of her tribe is a must

Besides that, she just wants someone who will take care of her, but also not stifle her

She would prefer someone she can adventure with, someone who will take her on journeys with them

Someone, who like her, finds it hard to settle down and stay in one place

Mulan

Mulan doesn't really have an ideal partner but she's open to the idea of meeting someone

Someone who can keep up with her in battle and keep a level head when needed would be extremely helpful

Someone who doesn't mind that she's a little "non-traditional" and who even finds that somewhat appealing

Someone who doesn't expect her to stay at home while they do all the work, maybe the both of you could split the duties

She doesn't need a partner but if one were to come her way, she wouldn't be opposed to making it work

Tiana

Tiana doesn't have time to sit around and dream about a knight in shining armour, but like Mulan, she's not going to shut out the possibility of someone coming into her life

If she had to choose a perfect partner, it'd be someone who supports her dreams of opening her restaurant, who helps her achieve that goal and is not afraid of a woman who works hard

Someone who enjoys her cooking would be a plus

She would appreciate if you're patient and willing to give her her space when she needs it, after all, she has a lot of shifts to work

Rapunzel is really open minded, she's open to anyone who is willing to spend time with her

Merida

Moana wants someone who is going to trust and listen to her, someone who will give her good advice when she's uncertain what path to choose

Someone who shares her passion for the ocean, who loves to spend time in it, swimming, sailing, wayfinding, whatever the activity just enjoying the ocean air

Like Pocahontas, she wants someone who will respect and appreciate the history of her tribe and contribute to it

She is the chief of her tribe, so someone who will remind her every now and then to have fun and let loose. To not be so hung up on running the tribe and to enjoy herself.

Raya

Raya is a deeply mistrusting person, so she would prefer someone who can break down her walls. Who won't immediately be intimidated by her rough exterior.

She may like someone she can let loose around, someone who will listen to her worries and help her comes to term with the fact that she can't control everything

Above all, her ideal partner would be someone who believes in her father's vision of Kumandra. Who will fight alongside her for a world where everyone lives in peace and harmony.

Belle

her reaction mostly depends on how fresh your scars are

if they’re more recent and still in the process of healing, then she’ll take a warm wet rag and clean them before doing anything else

if they’re older and fully healed then she’ll mostly leave them be in that regard

she’ll run her fingertips along the highs and lows of your wounds, her touch as light as a feather as she huns thoughtfully

then, after a while, she’ll stop and bring her knuckles up to her lips and kiss them — looking into your eyes and smiling sweetly before moving to kiss each and every one she can

she doesn’t ask of their origin, she trusts that you’ll tell her if/when you’re ready, but she’ll treat them gently and will comfort you if that’s what you need of her

Mulan

her first instinct upon noticing your scars is to grab and inspect them, making sure that they healed well and aren’t causing you any pain

her inquiries also mirrors this as she tries to ensure that you’re okay

if you want to tell her how you got them, then she’s all ears and will listen intently to your story

if they’re from a battle of some sort, then she’ll show you her own war wounds and compare them — pointing to each one and sharing its storey (only embellishing sometimes)

if they were brought on by your own deliberate actions or the abuse of another person in your life, then she’ll offer you whatever comfort she can give

her voice is gentle and soft and calm as she reassures you and squashes your worries

and her touch is gentle and exploratory as she traces the ridges of each wound

then she’ll press her lips against the largest one she can see and promise that she’ll protect you — be that from yourself or from those around you — because that is what a partner does

Pocahontas

she probably noticed your scars before you thought to mention them, having inspected them and their progress as they healed over the course of your relationship

so when you finally bring them up, she’s hardly surprise and does bring up that she’d seen them before

she doesn’t expect you to explain anything and if you feel pressured to do so for whatever reason, then she’ll shake her head and shush you

you can speak about your past, but only if you want to do so — that’s something she’s insistent that you know and understand

but from then on, whenever one of your scars is visible to her, she’ll place a chaste kiss onto it before moving on — smiling throughout

Rapunzel

the moment she sees your scars she starts fretting over you and you can guarantee that if she still had her gift that she’d be trying to heal you

she works herself up into such a state that she’s the one crying and you have to calm her down — tell her that they’re old, that you’re fine now, you promise

once she calms down she insists on going through each and every mark, scar or blemish on your body and kissing it

she just wants to assure herself that you’re fine, is all

and that’s exactly what she does, meaning you’ll be spending your next hour or so trying not to giggle and flustering under her affection as she shows her appreciation for every mark on your body — from your ankles to the crown of your head

Tiana

she’s gotten her fair share of scars in life, usually due to a mishap in the kitchen or a tumble she took when she was younger

that’s to say she’s not going to balk when she notices a deep ridge or faint line scar on your body

it’s all a much of a muchness for her

if you have a cool story to tell then she’s all ears and is happy to exchange tales of childhood falls for fight stories over a hot bowl of gumbo

but she will make a point to kiss your scars whenever you’re being cute and domestic — along with any other bit of skin in reach

like if you’re dancing in the kitchen she’ll spin and dip you before kissing the marks on your jaw or on your face

or if you’re laying beside her and holding hands she might absentmindedly start kissing along your wrist and arm, catching any potential scars or blemishes along the way

any marks on your back are usually kissed as a consolation after a long day — like when you’re hunched over and achy or ill and she’s trying to comfort you

• Mulan really does understand what feels to have the weight of the world on your shoulders. To be deeply affraid of everything, even things that can't happen. She remember the time when she was affraid of what may happen to her family, her country, herself. She isn't new to overthinking everything.

• When she noticed what was happening to you, Mulan knew that she would never let you alone with your thoughts. Mulan isn't that experienced, so she just did what she would like to be done to her.

• Mulan hold your closer, so closer you could hear her heartbeat, and told you that you weren't alone anymore. Carressing your hair, Mulan asked to you divide with her whatever ocuppated your mind.

• She can't fight everything. She tried, but only a few things can be won that way. She can't fight your fears, your demons, the problems from you life: but she can be there. Mulan can be near you, holding your hand, reminding you that you are not alone on this world.

• At the end of the day, don't matter how horrible it was, she's there. You can share the weight of the world with her. Mulan wants you to. And when your fears take over your body, when all the thing going on your mind make your panic, she's there. She'll always be there.

He would feel his whole world and heart stop finding out about the bridge collapse somehow knowing that you were either there or on the way to help

He'd drive as fast as he could tears flowing down his face when he saw your station's truck and number in front of his car helping with getting people down not knowning

He got out asking your captain where you were being told that you and your crew were taking a call on the bridge when it collapsed and they were there to help

He would feel his heart drop to his stomach looking up not knowing where you were whether you were hurt, alive, or dead

He felt his heart soar when he saw you come down the ladder and climb off the truck running and hugging you tightly

The two of you went home and he couldn't stop holding and hugging you telling you how much he loved you even when you went to shower and fell asleep he held you and said I love you

Tiana

She would stop everything trying to find out where you were driving as fast as she could within the speed limit heading to the sight of the bridge collapse

She would try to run to find you but would be grabbed by your captain and crew member to stop her from getting hurt or somehow see you hurt or in a worse state

She would chew on her finger nails waiting for any news on you feeling her anxiety grow and grow as time goes on not knowing whether you were okay

She soon is crying against her car until she hears you yell for her when you saw her running and jumping in her arms

She wouldn't let go of your hand driving home even when she calmed down and knew you were okay she had thought she lost you

She follows you throughout the house for the next week even staying awake and talking to her mom on the phone when she couldn't sleep always giving you a kiss when you wake up and when you went to sleep

Tadashi

He was with his brother Hiro when he heard of the collapse having a gut feeling something wasn't right at all

He and hiro went to the bridge collapse looking for you running and asking your crew in the truck who told them that you and the rest of the crew were on the bridge answering a call when it collapsed

He immediately teared up calling their Aunt Cass terrified and crying that he lost you while hiro looked at the bridge and even yelled for you to see if you were there

You got down noticing hiro running to you hugging you tightly with tears flowing down his face hugging him back when tadashi turns seeing you running and hugging you crying

You all went to aunt cass's where she hugged you tightly after seeing you knowing you were okay and alive thankful she didn't lose you since you had become like another child to her other than hiro and tadashi who had been raised by her for years

He kept randomly hugging you throughout the night when the two of you went back to your apartment even walking in the bedroom while you were changing after taking a shower crying until you both laid down and went to sleep together

Mulan

She was hanging out with Shang, Ling, Chien Po, and Yao when they all heard about the bridge collapse on the radio while training

She felt her world shatter running down the street to the collapse since the training camp wasn't far away seeing the bridge broken crying and screaming while being held back by shang from getting closer

Your captain came and told her that you were on the right part of the bridge that broke answering a call on a car accident before the collapse happened but they didn't yet know whether you were injured or killed

She sat in a ball on the ground crying with shang sitting next to her and yao standing behind her as ling kept an eye out for anyone coming over while chien looked over the side to see if he could see you anywhere in the water

After 2 hours you were pulled up only ending up with cuts and bruises hearing yelling as ling and yao ran and hugged you with chien picking all three of you up walking you to shang who hugged you taking you to mulan who cried even more hugging you telling you never to scare her like that ever again

The two of you went home and after getting out of your uniform and showering you allowed her to patch you up immediately holding each other tightly while crying until you smiled kissing each other and watching a movie before falling asleep
