(This is something that's really stupid but screw it.) What if the new survivor pretty reenacts the whole meme of "were gonna kill you with power of friendship and this gun I found!" And just pulls out a revolver. Tbh I'm just curious how the killers or survivors would react.

His only solution was to camp the exits with his traps and hope for the best

But now he can’t get caught setting otherwise he’s exposed to even a stray bullet

I woke at noon, the house hot because Gramps had left the blinds up in the front room, and ever since the big live oak had been cut up and taken away for blight, we’d lost its shade.

I used the bathroom, pulled on shorts and a tee, and went looking for breakfast, or brunch, or whatever.

“Gramps?”

He didn’t answer. That was weird. Gramps was a late riser and he rarely got up before ten, and then he took a long time to get going, listening to his podcasts and drinking coffee and sending memes around to his buddies with his giant tablet, with the type zoomed way, way up. He didn’t like going out in the heat, either, so in the summer he rarely left the house before four or five, once the sun was low to the hills. He’d left his coffee cup in the sink and his tablet on the table, so I knew he’d gone in a hurry. He hated dirty dishes and hated dead batteries even more.

I put his stuff away and thawed out some waffles and got a big iced coffee from the cold-brew jug I kept in the fridge and started the process of becoming human.

I gobbled my first waffle before the emotional weight of the previous night settled on me. Those emotions were way too big, so big that they all layered on top of each other, leaving me with nothing but numbness.

I did the reflex thing and pulled out my screen, giving myself a brief sear of shame for my mindless screen-handling, just as I’d been trained to do in mindfulness class. That was enough to prompt me to run through the checklist: Do I need to look at my screen? Do I need to look at it now? What do I hope to find? When will I be done? I answered the questions (Yes, yes, news about last night, when I’ve looked at two or three stories), and then unlocked it, but didn’t look at it until I’d poured myself another glass of coffee.

Two hours later, there was no coffee left and my eyes hurt from screenburn. I dropped my screen, came out of my trance, and stood up.

I’d gone viral. Or rather, Mike had.

My post had been picked up, first in Burbank, then statewide, then nationally, then internationally. Amateur comedians had edited the footage into highlight reels, moments chosen to demonstrate just how idiotic and hateful he was. Someone made a White Nationalist Bingo Card whose every square had a quote from Mike Kennedy. There were lots of jokes about inbreeding, hillbillies, musket-fuckers and ammosexuals, master race masturbation, senility, removable boomers—all the age-and class- based slurs that we weren’t allowed to say in school, but that everyone busted out as soon as we were off the property. It was pretty gross, but on the other hand, I couldn’t exactly argue with them. Bottom line was, Mike Kennedy had been up on that roof for no good reason, and he’d been ready to kill me to let him finish his stupid, senseless project. So yeah, fuck that guy. I guess.

I was pleased to see that I came off as a hero, with strangers around the world praising me for my cool head, saying I’d saved his life.

I put my plate in the dishwasher and wiped up my crumbs and checked the clock on the kitchen wall—I’d always loved its plain analog face with its thick and thin lines, the yellowing AC cord that came off it. It had belonged to Gramps’s own parents, and it was the only thing in the house I considered anything like an heirloom.

It was coming up on one and if I showered fast and ran, I could make my physics class. I decided to go for it, had the fastest shower in history, pulled on whatever was on the top of my dresser drawers, and sprinted for the street.

I was just jogging up to the entrance to Burroughs when I got a screen chime, which stopped me because, like all the students, I’d installed the school app that turned off audible alarms while I was on property during school hours. It wasn’t mandatory, but the punishment for having an alarm in class was confiscation, so . . .

I pulled out my screen as I panted by the doorway, mopping my face with my shirttail. It was a text from Burbank PD, informing me that Mike Kennedy was headed for a bail hearing in two hours, and I was entitled to present a victim impact statement, either recorded or in person. I’d known that the police could override the school app (there was a kid in my class whose parole office sometimes paged him, and the fact that he audibly dinged was just part of the package, I figured—a way to remind us all that this kid had fucked up bad), but I hadn’t expected them to ping me, let alone on school property.

I tapped out a quick thanks-no-thanks, and headed to physics.

Jealous

(This is my first time writing smth this long or explicit)

Bea was sitting in bed with her phone in hand while Poppy fell asleep with her head on her lap. They just got back from having lunch but Poppy felt sleepy so she guided the blonde to the bedroom but she decided to fall asleep on Bea’s lap instead. Bea not wanting to disturb her allows it to happen and decides to pass the time until she awakes, plus it didn’t help that Poppy looked cute asleep and there’s finally peace and quiet.

B: Damn you fell asleep real fast Poptart, you must’ve been real tired out from out lunch date even though we didn’t really do much and you spent most of it just talking with me and not much eating. Guess you’re losing your touch to keep up with a shouting match eh Pop? Ah well can’t really complain, at least I have you all to myself, granted still asleep.

Bea decided to scroll through her messages and socials to see what was going on in the world. Zoey was still on tour with NOS, she looks like she’s kicking it off great. Bea’s Mom is asking how she’s doing and telling me to eat and sleep right because of what happened last time with the project, Ana Min-Sinclair is asking how Poppy is doing, she seems to be only one of the two who seems to accept our relationship and supports us no matter what and that’s cool, Even though her and Kingsley grew apart as lovers ever since she chose Poppy they are still good friends and tells her how their life has been since Belvoire. They’ve been working at another college ever since quitting from Lexi’s firm and they’re happy, after that Bea scrolls through some memes on the internet.

Bea laughs at the memes, a bit too much. So much so that the She Devil herself Poppy woke up from her slumber on her lap due to all the laughing Bea was making. She loved her but sometimes she wonders if Bea can do the simplest things right or not.

P: Hughes you better have a fucking goddamn excuse to wake me up from my very peaceful nap from your very warm and soft lap, I was actually enjoying myself.

B: *laughs* Haha sorry Pops it’s just I was just looking through memes on the internet and laughed a bit too hard. Sorry if I disturbed your sleep Princess.

P: *rolls eyes* Lemme see those memes. They really gotta be something to wake me up.

Poppy looks at the phone and sees the memes, she was about to let it go but then she see’s a notification from someone she never thought she’d see anymore, Kingsley. She read the notification “We should get lunch sometime, what do you think Bea?” Poppy’s mind was racing and she was internally panicking “Was she seeing Kingsley again? Why is she even interacting with her former professor again when she is clearly dating me?!” Poppy was jealous, she doesn’t want to admit it but deep down she gets extremely jealous, she wanted Bea to be hers and hers alone. She wonders if she has to mark Bea just to claim her.

Poppy looks at Bea with an eyebrow raised, questioning the message she just saw.

P: Why did Kingsley text you asking you for lunch? Are you two dating again? Even after you chose me in front of everyone?

B: What? Wait Poppy that’s not-

P: Be quiet.

Poppy climbs up Bea’s lap, pinning her down with her legs and her hands forcing Bea to look her in the eye. Her brown eyes may look neutral but she can see the anger and dare she say jealousy behind them.

P: Tell me pet, are you or are you not seeing Kingsley behind the scenes instead of moi?

B: N-no of course not Pops, I’m yours and only yours. Wait, are you JEALOUS?!

P: Shut your hillbilly mouth up Hughes, I’m not jealous at all. As if I could be jealous at something like that. Ridiculous! I have more class than to fall down to your level just because of a relationship.

B: Psshh yeah right, you can’t deny it Poptart I saw the way you looked at me when you saw Kingsley’s text. You’re jealous, I know it and I’m sure as hell you know it too. Fine if you’re not jealous then I guess I’ll just accept Kingsley’s-

Poppy shut her up by squeezing Bea’s right boob hard causing Bea to gasp sharply and slowly caressing it before letting go, leaving Bea a blushing mess and looking away from the blonde on top of her. Satisfied, Poppy leaned down and whispered in a hoarse voice in Bea’s ear, barely containing herself:

P: Try saying that again pet, next time I won’t be so soft and tolerable. Maybe I should mark you as mine so that Kingsley will get the fucking message that you’re mine, maybe a collar? or maybe I should just leave hickeys on you hmm? So I’ll ask you again, ARE.YOU.SEEING.KINGSLEY?

Bea was blushing and couldn’t answer her, not with those promises of being claimed running through her mind, the thought excited her and soon she started becoming warm down to her core which is now slick. The only thing she can muster is:

B: I knew you were jealous.

Poppy was starting to get annoyed at Bea so climbed up higher on her body, still straddling her hips and faced Bea, they both stared at each other, eyes both glazed with lust just waiting to be released. Poppy broke the silence.

P: I’ll ask you one last time pet and you better give me an answer, if you do you might be rewarded. Who do you belong to?

B: You, I only belong to you Poptart, no one else but you and only you.

P: Good girl. For being such a good girl you get a reward. Are you ready?

Okay like, I know the “what TV character do you like on TV that you know would be a Trump supporter” is half-joke to some people but I’ve even seen fandom thinkers blow this one lately and the “Dean would love the confederate flag” meme isn’t only new, but it’s extremely out of touch with canon. This take has bothered me for YEARS because of it.

So let’s hotlist this:

To take this to an extra level, Bobo Berens stated that Sam is a Warren and/or Harris fan, and that Dean doesn’t vote. Which would be easy to ascribe him as apolitical, until you review this like-trade in the comments:

Which really well enough makes sense. Dean has successfully snuck up on a president before AND broken out of federal prison; he personally stagged the corpo-political fascist monger Dick in the fucking neck. So while both of them, legally dead, Sam might go out of his way to lengthily groom a fake ID just to vote, can anyone tell me Dean Winchester’s answer wouldn’t be “but WHY? Just burn the reptilian motherfuckers down.”

I don’t know what put in people’s heads that guns=republican. A lot of dems own guns. There’s a distinct flavor of classism when people say “well SAM was college educated and Dean wasn’t so obviously SAM would be a democrat but Dean must be a republican” for that matter.

Does Dean use problematic dialogue sometimes? Sure. Welcome to people, which varies depending on how they were raised. If we’re gonna accuse every person who’s ever used problem dialogue of being a trump supporter than like 99% of the SPN fandom must be trump supporters, including Destiel lane, so miss me with that nonsense.

Dean also frequently cites famous liberal thinkers, even if not necessarily a specific political quote, among other things we could rant on about. And these are just things OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. I’m sure there’s more.

But Dean’s language is frequently colored Blue. He bashes on Team Red and always has. He has literally never bashed on a democrat. Like, fucking ever. Like I dare you right now, all the way back to season 1, to find me one quote where Dean Winchester shits on a democrat or their platform. Because that doesn’t go both ways.

I am SO TIRED of people trying to problematize shit because it’s the trendy thing to do, even supposed thinkers like, when the canon has been perpetually EXTREMELY FUCKIN CLEAR. OK?

So anyway Dean is antifa and that’s facts thanks for coming to my ted talk.

What are your thoughts on the Overtaker's actors/voice actors. Fan, not a fan? This their best work, or do you like them for something else too? That sort of stuff.

Generally speaking, I do! Actors' performances are a big part of why I like these characters to begin with, and I'm usually at least somewhat familiar with their other work. However, their Overtakers roles are always my favorites XD And I’m kinda of the sort who if I like an actor for a certain role, that role is THEIR role to me and I have difficulty getting into other roles, at least not nearly to the same extent. But I do have more in-depth thoughts on all ten of the Core Overtakers actors that I'd like to share....

Eleanor Audley (Maleficent) - Love her! Fantastic actress. My all time favorite performance as a villain is her voicing Maleficent, but I also love the work she did as Tremaine and Leota, and her Beverly Hillbillies episode that I sought out solely to see her was great fun! Part of me is sad that she passed away before I was born and didn't really do interviews, because I would very much like to have known more about her. But that also sort of gives her an ethereal quality that adds to her mystique and the mystique of her characters. It allows them to totally stand on their own.

James Woods (Hades) - And here's the exception to the rule. James Woods is an asshole. No way around it. He's a great actor and made Hades SUPER fun. But he's in recent years shown his colors as an awful person with the hateful things he says on social media to the heinous allegations against him from various women. Hades as a character means way too much for me not to separate the art from the artist, but this is one case where I have to disconnect a lot.

Pat Carroll (Ursula) - And from the unpleasantness of Woods, we go to the extreme pleasantness of Pat Carroll. This woman is like the incarnation of the kind, sweet, and funny grandma. I ADORE this woman. I'm only really familiar with her acting work as Ursula and the step sister from the Roger & Hammerstein Cinderella movie, but just from that, I can see that she's supremely talented. And what's more, I love watching her interviews because she has such a great personality and such a great perspective on acting and on the world. Never had the privilege of meeting her, but I do have her autograph, and I treasure it.

Jonathan Freeman (Jafar) - Love Jonathan as well. You know that old meme “Senpai notice me!”? XD That’s me to Jonathan Freeman lol. I admire him and his talent so very much. I love that he continued to play Jafar on Broadway for as long as he did, and he’s such a villain fan himself that I always feel like he above all others GETS IT. Just like with Pat, I love listening to his interviews. My friend actually got me a Cameo from him and my friend sent Jonathan some clips of my Jafar impression, and he complimented me on it :D Just a great guy, and I adore his work!

Lucille LaVerne (Queen Grimhilde) - Everything I said about Eleanor Audley being long passed but TRIPLED for Lucille. Lucille’s last role was Grimhilde and before that she was known for silent movies and the theater. So she really feels like an artifact from the time before recordings of human beings were common place. She’s the remnants of a very old time in history, and I find that fascinating and mysterious. I also love the story about how she voiced the witch by removing her false teeth to give the hag a very raw and old feeling to her performance.

Tom Hiddleston (Loki) - My Loki is the Marvel Ultimate Alliance one where he’s played by Larry Cedar, but I actually don’t know much of anything about Larry Cedar except that I LOVE him as Loki. When I think of Loki’s actor, Tom Hiddleston in the MCU is the first on my mind. And I love Tom. I was definitely a Hiddlestoner back in the 2012-2013 era. He’s very talented and seems like such a class act of a guy. I’m not a huge fan of his other work, but his takes on Shakespeare tickle my fancy!

Clive Revill (Dr. Doom) - Clive Revill is, like Larry Cedar, someone who I don’t know a whole lot about as a person, but he’s a pretty reoccurring voice actor in a lot of animated shows and movies that I’ve seen. I definitely think his turn as Doctor Doom in Marvel Ultimate Alliance is by far his best role I’ve experienced, but I’d love to delve more into his older catalogue of work. He seems like a very talented and diverse character actor!

Denis O’Hare (Russell Edgington) - Denis has the distinction of being the only main Overtaker actor who I’ve had the privilege to meet personally. I met him at Dragon*Con a few years ago and got his autograph and a picture with him. He’s a class act guy and very friendly. I really admire him as an openly gay actor for being so open about discussing that in interviews and such. And I think he’s just an incredibly talented actor in any role he takes on from American Horror Story to Once Upon a Mattress to, of course, True Blood. He was just such a delight in True Blood, and I love him.

Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) - Colin’s another who I haven’t met but who seems like just a lovely person. I’ve seen a fair bit of his work outside of OUAT, but that second season of villain Hook just takes the cake for me. He definitely feels very bored and restricted playing Hook post-redemption arc but I chalk that up more to bad writing than anything. He also happens to be one of the most attractive men I’ve ever seen. Very handsome guy with a face I could stare at all day lol. Would love to meet him in person one day as well, and I really hope he gets more diverse roles moving forward.

Jada Pinkett-Smith (Fish Mooney) - Is this one topical or something? ;) No but I really do very much enjoy Jada, not only as Fish but just in general. She has a very classy yet real vibe to her that doesn’t really care about other people’s opinions of her that I think turns a lot of people off, but I just admire it. I love the music she did with her band Wicked Wisdom, and she always slays on the red carpet. I now her and the Oscars are topical for a whole different reason, but did you see her gown? GORGEOUS! And she looked gorgeous in it. There’s been a lot of venom spewing her way lately because of the Will Smith/Chris Rock altercation, but honestly the attempts to somehow blame her for any of what happened just reek of misgynoir to me. Sorry not sorry.

On Shinomiya Rina's accent and home region

Shinomiya Rina is one of the more well-known characters from the Digimon World series; if you follow me, it'll be no surprise that I care about her a particular amount, as I've made a large amount of fanart and fanfiction featuring Rina. However, those who follow me will notice that I tend to mention, from time-to-time, Rina having a Tohoku accent, or being from the Tohoku region. This isn't a made-up bit of headcanon - it's actually supported with canonical information presented in the Re:Digitize Decode game, Re:Digitize Encode manga, and Rina's brief appearance in the Story: Cyber Sleuth games.

Now, after reading the title of this meta, the first thing you may be wondering is "what accent?"

The answer to that is that Rina has a Tohoku accent. Now, a Tohoku accent isn't as commonly shown in Japanese media as the Kansai accent (known as Kansai-ben), but it does still appear and it does have its stereotypes, regardless of how people from the region are in reality. The stereotype is one of "laziness or clumsiness", which, while not necessarily applying to Rina entirely, does describe a few of her actions.

This is particularly noticable in the dialogue when we see her in Cyber Sleuth, where she complains of having to re-train V.V. back up to the previous level of power and states that she would much rather watch TV or read manga than actually train her V-mon partner.

Additionally, the accent itself partially relies on translators to make it apparent; to clarify, because the Western audience for the Digimon games will as a majority not know Japanese, and thus would not be able to particularly identify one accent from another, the translators would have to be relied upon to know the difference between the accents, and be relied upon to translate those accents into a close English equivalent for preserving the "feel" of the dialogue, so to speak.

This is the case with Rina - the Cyber Sleuth translation did not give her any noticeable accent, rather giving her a speech pattern similar to other characters as a generic, "regular" English accent. The most hint we get as to her accent comes with the voiced Japanese lines that she speaks - particularly, the "jye-jye-jye" sound she makes, which Cyber Sleuth translates as "woah". (A side note: this is actually a "correct" translation, as "jye-jye-jye" is an equivalent to "woah", used in the Tohoku region. It's actually become a real-life meme in Japan.)

The fantranslation for Re:Digitize Decode, however, happens to translate the accent fairly well. While it's not immediately identifiable, the accent given to Rina in the translation is fairly similar to a Rural Brittish Accent, or a Hillbilly American Accent. (Examples found here, here, here, here, and here.)

It should also be noted that, prior to the fan translation (and, as of this post, on the current article), Rina's English Digimon Wiki page made note that she had a habit of "mispronouncing her words". This also aligns with the Tohoku regional accent - part of the Tohoku accent is using "da" after verbs, which is considered a mistake in other parts of Japan.

Now that we've established the fact that Rina speaks with the Tohoku accent, let's look at her living situation itself. Rina is disconnected from the rest of the cast for a good portion of Decode, and while she does appear somewhat through the Digitter messages, it's only as that - messages. In trailer screenshots, we don't see much of where she lives, mostly restricted to the inside of her room. and the one shot we do get to see of the city outside of that is pretty vague and doesn't really tell us much about where she actually lives.

However, it's reasonable to assume that due to her accent and being farther away from the other members of the cast, Rina does indeed live in the Tohoku region. Thus, when creating my works, I default to Rina living in some part of the Tohoku region, and having the accompanying accent to match.

There's actually a way that this could be used to explain her outfit choice, as well - though that will be saved for another meta.

I know this is really late but here it is!! I hope I did the prompt justice!

Another night of restless sleep. Another day of trials.

Despite being surrounded by people you now consider friends, you haven’t been able to properly sleep in days. Your thoughts were plagued by something...or rather someone. The killers call him Jr., but you know him as Max.

He was unable to talk for the most part due to his disfigurement, but you would never hold that against him. You had your own friendship with him. It started off simple, really.

As simple as things could be in this realm.

Max was doing what he needed to do...and you were doing the same. He was chasing you, the first time you had been paired against him as the killer of choice. Standing over you with a chainsaw, all you could say as you looked into his eyes…”beautiful”.

It was enough to catch him off guard, and you used the chance to escape while he was left baffled. Since then, he acted differently around you. He would even bring you small gifts if you were in a trial together. He couldn’t stop trying to hook you...but he did give you little gifts of remorse each time you did.

Sometimes it was jewelry you wouldn’t be able to take out of the trial, but the thought was there. Sometimes it’s flowers. Anything he found at the trial while still searching for the survivors was good enough for you. Once...he brought you a ladybug. How he managed to find and get one was beyond you, but as you lay hooked all you could focus on to escape the pain was the little red ladybug clinging to your index finger.

It was a solace. Each time he would knock you down with his chainsaw, you knew you could expect a little gift. It was a mystery which one you would get, but he never seemed to run out of new ideas.

As for the matter at hand...you liked him. A lot. His sweet little gifts and the way he manages to make you feel safe, even when he’s hunting you, it was something you appreciated greatly.

Thus, here you are. In the dangerous middle zone between the campgrounds.

“Max!” You called for him, begging for him to hear you. The space between campsites was dangerous, because of the neutrality. Killers could kill survivors outside of campgrounds. And it could be painful. You were only hoping Max would hear you and come to your side to prevent your own murder.

It was a risk. He could kill you too. But somehow...you knew he wouldn’t.

At the sound of his voice, Max turned his head towards you and made a noise that sounded like panic. Running towards you as fast as he could, you wondered if you made the right call.

Meeting you in the middle, he picked you up and immediately carried you back to the survivor’s camp. Where you’d be safe...from him?

The survivors that were still awake scurried to the other side of the camp, away from Max. It was eerily quiet as he set you down just outside of the camp, due to his inability to enter the campsite that was not his own. No one dared to speak, all wanting to watch what just happened.

You could care less about them at this moment though. He was here. You got his attention and he didn’t seem to want to kill you.

With a grunt, he pointed inside the camp, showing you exactly where he wanted you to stay before turning around to leave again. You didn’t let him get that far, and grabbed his hand. He jerked it away, but stopped walking towards the camp.

“I just...I thought maybe…” Your words trailed off and you began to get nervous. What if he didn’t like you? He was a killer of course he wouldn’t like you...but you still wanted to have hope.

You took a deep breath and tried again, your words coming out soft and feeble, “All I want is to sleep by your side...is...is that okay?” You looked away from him, not wanting to hear the rejection. But it never came.

Looking to his face for answers, he looked almost...flustered? You could see the wheels turning in his brain as he tried to think of what a proper response would be. It seems he had more questions than you did.

Max tilted his head to the side, in questioning. Even without words, you knew the question he was meaning to ask. ‘Why do you trust me?’

Smiling up at him, you responded honestly, “I feel safe around you...I haven’t been able to sleep. All I can think about is you. We can start slow...I just...I’d like it if you stayed by my side through the night?” It came out as a question rather than a statement, but he understood.

Slowly, Max lowered himself to the ground. He looked up at you expectantly, and you followed suit. It may have been awkward at first, but it was worth it.

He laid on his side, hand outstretched to you. The genuine smile on your face made his heart melt, and you knew it too. His flustered face was enough to know that he felt the same about you.

Grabbing his hand gently, you lay down facing him. Your fingers were intertwined as you lay in silence. Max closed his eyes as he got comfortable and you did the same. Whatever the entity threw at you from now on...you would face it together.

Night after night you would spend by his side. It would take time...but eventually he would open up. Holding hands and spending time next to each other would be enough for now. Before, he would spend his nights with the killers. It was just how things were. Survivors with survivors, killers with killers. But now? Every night he would be right outside your spot in the campsite.

The survivors slowly got used to him being there, and some even befriended him...to an extent. At the very least, they were no longer worried about Max being near the campsite anymore. They could see that what you two had was real, and he wouldn’t do anything to ruin what the two of you had. That included killing your friends outside of trials. It was a small price to pay to have you in his unnatural life.

i guess a mother always recognizes her daughter even through all that dirt. ngl i cant help but think about how much clarke stinks. Literally was in a pile of bodies and was covered in blood and mud. yet her mother is there hugging and kissing her.

side note: what if clarke was just a salty bitch and the first thing she said to abby was ‘im still not talking to you. because do you remember when you killed dad?’ i would die

i love how they are flipping this stereotype of mountain men as in you know how we generally associate mountain people/hillbilly’s as poor uneducated lower class citizens but in this show it’s the opposite. im pretty sure this wasn’t intentional tho. i just watch the documentary “hillbilly” it’s just been on my mind recently

“this one is thoroughbred.” a thoroughbred of what? the British Royal Line? i swear if they tell me that lincoln is a descendant of queen Elizabeth ill die (if you’re wondering about my thought process on this...the best explanation i can give you are those memes about queen Elizabeth being immortal)

monty out here asking the right questions. monty straight up put his hands and sat down. staying right by his friend’s side. we stan a loyal king. monty really shined in this scene. you have to agree. this is my favorite moment of the show thus far.

abby slapped a one legged girl. abby she is a kid and you is an adult. yeah abby just lost some points in my book.

yep finn really killed kids and woman. this boy went full anakin. but i guess the writers be planting this plot point: spacewalker more like skywalker. yes this is a dumb theory but what if this is what the writers were actually thinking when they wrote finns character...

finn out did himself. i think he has highest body count out of all those from the 100. i think the real turning point in his character development was when he killed that reaper in the mines with clarke. it was right there and then that the knew he was willing to kill for clarke and hes not just gonna stop now. love really makes people do crazy things. big yikes when clarke caught him in the act. but ofc the show would have clarke appear 5 minutes finn goes ballistic.

but also finn is joe from you. literally doing the most for the one he loves even tho his love never asked for any of it. and not feeling that bad about it. the boy literally massacred a village but the first thing he says to clarke is “i found you” ...yeah finn really did a 180 in the worst way possible

side note: to anyone who thinks im being hypocritical about bryne/the guard and finn. let me remind you that finn is a kid whose brain has not fully developed. he also has been through a lot shit since since being sent to earth so he is bound to be unstable. now im not saying that finn doesnt deserves any repercussions because believe me i do. i will get mad if he faces no consequences. but the fact of the matter is that byrne and the guard, people who are entrusted with power and authority cannot just abuse their power and authority shooting at random on the whim that anyone and anything is a threat.

10. If given a choice, would you rather be a hillbilly cultist, heretic, or rebel to both sides? I’d still be a rebel to both sides. Religious extremism and any other type of fanaticism, cults etc. are not my thing and something I’d rather not get involved in. It’d probably be a more dangerous path to take, but well... everything in Outlast is dangerous. XP

21. Who is the most villainous character overall? For the first game plus DLC, I am going to be predictable and say Jeremy Blaire - or rather what he represents truly. The Variants are the way they are because of the Engine (for the most part anyway), but Jeremy pretty much serves as an embodiment of Murkoff’s greed and willingness to screw over other people to get what they want. Yeah... Murkoff as an entirety really. In Outlast 2, Loutermilch without a doubt. I need not elaborate.

23. Who deserves the worst ending? Loutermilch, because he’s kinda the only villain in the series whose fate is uncertain. With what he did to Jessica and Blake by extension, I sure do hope he met SOME kind of punishment for his actions... putting it very, very mildly.
