the obey me characters are homophobic in canon die gaywad
That doesn't sound like a very good marketing strategy. If I were a game developer and wanted people to download my game and spend money on the in app purchases; I definitely wouldn't deliberately bar a large social group from using my app like that. That just doesn't sound practical at all. You'd just lose money in the long run that you could've gotten from being inclusive.
Plus there are people who aren't a part of the LGBT+ demographic that would see that and be disgusted; then no longer support the app.
You may be homophobic, but the vast majority of people aren't. As a game developer; I don't think they can put their own views on sexuality into a game without getting severe backlash. That's why they didn't.
I have no clue where you got this claim from; but it's inherently false and defamatory to the developers who did their best to make this game.
P.S. If you don't like my content, just block me and move on. ~

The infamous foot incident!
Got this ask 3 weeks ago and have been thinking ever since....what is the 'infamous foot incident'...?
Richard falling down a pyramid in Mexico?
Flake running over (well not quite, but almost) Till with his segway, hurting Till's leg?
Flake getting hit by a motorbike on one of his long walks early in the 2022 tour and hurting his leg?
Something else i don't remember right now?
🤔

Holy shit when did I get this ask what is it for *sounds of papers rustling*
This I think???? Seems likely
i don't actually have fanfic published (yet, Concrete Riven is coming :P) so i'm applying this to my novels
"2. what's a fic that took you to an emotional/dark/hard place?"
All of them, realistically, but none of them as much as Miasma. That book at turns broke me down into tears, made me feel physically ill, pushed me into severe anger, etc. all throughout writing the first draft, and I have yet to edit the goddamn thing. I'm proud of it and all it accomplishes, but it's not meant to be an easy read by any means (being a confrontational reminder of everything war is outside the glorification we've gotten used to in media) but of course that means being the one to write it hurts
"4. what fic of your own do you read for comfort?"
Serpents has been really doing that for me, given that Karma Killer and Miasma are both entangled in really dark subject matter. So is Serpents, for that matter, but it's at least got a little more optimism and some lighter moments to balance it instead of the relentless show of doom and misery that I usually employ
"6. what's the hardest part of the writing process for you?"
Everything that comes after really... the monotonous shit like line editing and then the marketing shit and the publishing shit (which I'm still stuck on) it's all the worst and it gets far too into the business domain for my liking...
"8. does anyone in your personal life know you write fic? if not, would you tell anyone?"
almost everyone knows I write original fiction. As for fanfic, some people know. Not as many. I'm definitely a little more withdrawn about that - though not out of shame or anything, really, I'm just more proud of/enthused by my original works
Thanks for the ask, and I hope you're doing well!

DP x DC Prompt
Batman grunts a greeting at the boy Selena has introduced as "Danny" as if it's totally normal for a kid to be hanging out on a rooftop with her, kicking his legs out above the edge as if he's not 20 stories up.
Selena shares an equally amused glance with Danny that has Batman scowling harder than his usual as the boy gets up, stretching out from his hunch to reveal a 6 foot 2 build not unlike Jason's.
"Wow, spot on," Danny whistles, grinning at Selena. "I owe you a twenty."
"Darling," Selena purrs, hand finding purchase on his upper bicep. "I never exaggerate."
"Looks like Catwoman's got a new scratching post, B," Nightwing cackles in his comm, which is probably why Batman finds himself gritting out a--
"Little young for you, isn't he?"
The kid--in a hoodie and jeans, seriously, where did Selena find this guy--stares at him incredulously before his mouth stretches into an uncomfortably wide grin, revealing fairly sharp canines. He strides forward.
"What can I say, Mr. The Batman," he says, placing a hand on the man's shoulder. He must be around the same age as Dick. "I've got a thing for powerful women in black."
"See you for dinner tomorrow Lena," he says, hand lifted in farewell as he heads for the edge. He pushes himself over the wall with one hand, dropping over.
Batman clocks Selena's lack of alarm and doesn't flinch. Thirteen seconds later, there's no resounding thud when Danny's body would've met the pavement and she's still smirking at him.
"No metas in Gotham," he growls.
Selena throws her head back and laughs. "If I see any, I'll be sure to call. Now," she kisses his cheek, "I better go. I've got a date tomorrow."
