the feeling of losing someone to addiction/overdose while the government does nothing to help, just criminalizes and stigmatizes and makes things worse. which obviously happens in more places than just around here, but we have one of the highest rates of overdose death in the whole country and that whole set of scenes felt like they were really informed by growing up around that

Sorry about the September calendar being late! I got a new puppy and had the worst tooth extraction of my life in the past week!

#I'll reblog the puppy from my main to here later #and the tooth let me just tell you that fucking chas dental had some bs policy change where they have to try to wiggle the tooth out #instead of just drilling it out like im used to #and when i said the pain was still sharp they treated me like a drug addict instead of giving me more numbing #like my whole jaw still hurts days later like i got punched repeatedly in the face #they still had to drill btw #my roots are too long for the wiggle approach.
