Ooooh the Thing ask ABSOLUTELY reinforces the idea that if ANYTHING happens to a dog in a movie, Roxy is in tears. You have to pull up and article or behind the scenes stuff just to show her they're okay and it's all acting. Poor baby loves her pup brethren :((

Hsjxhdib I mean... She'd know it's just fiction... But also if anything happens to the doggos the behind the scenes dog stuff is a big comfort. She's pretending she's fine and she's not devastated the doggo got hurt but Chica is already putting some silly behind the scenes clips of the dog getting stuck in the door with a set piece or something lmao

Anyone that watches movies with her is very familiar with the 'does the dog die' websites and other such sites so they can check if it's Roxy Safe. They don't tell her they do this cause she's dead set on pretending it doesn't effect her at all even when she's literally sat there crying over it (she's trying very hard not to but she's failing miserably)

She and Monty will never admit to being scared of scary things ever. They will take this to their graves despite the fact everyone knows because they're terrible liars that can't hide their emotions for shit. For Roxy, this includes anything bad ever happening to a dog on screen.

They used to get teased a little for this, but it has long since been learned that if you poke them just right, they'll be determined to prove they can handle it and the next thing they know they're quietly freaking out clinging to their arm like this is the end of them. Now it's been deemed off limits in an effort to prevent them from putting themselves through it... But for some fucking reason they seem to think this rule doesn't apply to them. Idiots have been found hiding together in the most bizarre places because they were freaked out by a movie and they swear they heard something from over there you gotta believe them the killer is in there you can't go in oh god oh no fucking RUN-

But yeah... Don't watch a movie like I dunno Marley and Me with Roxy cause she will never ever be over it. Ever.

The men’s went to visit Y/n place for her birthday but they heard loud bark in her house. When Y/n open the door the men’s are pin down by a lot of puppies. They though she has scary dog only to meet cute puppies. Imagine when the men’s see Y/n cuddle/hanging out with her puppies and she her smile a bit during her birthday they be like ‘Dammit! So cute!’ And almost faint seeing the light above of her like an angel.

Simon "Ghost" Riley

Ghost is pretty used to how you act on base, and while he doesn't exactly trust the whole emotionless thing (that's his thing, back off his permanent emo phase) he does give you space and respect you.

So much so when you invited him to come over after a long mission needing a break from life, he just decided to except. To hell with it, at least he knew you wouldn't bother him.

And plus, it was your birthday in a couple days so what was the real harm in saying no??

So he shows up with his bags a couple days later, not expecting anything special until he rang the doorbell.

Now.

Simon.

Loves.

Dogs.

There are few things he loves more in this world than tea, arson, and dogs. So when he hears a bunch of barking he rightfully assumes you have a dog, unless you just have that playing to scars people, which he wouldn't put it past you.

You come to the door, struggling to open it before he's bombarded at the glass screen, seeing a bunch of tiny puppies jumping and wagging their little tails in excitement to meet a new person.

And Simon nearly dies of how utterly fucking cute that is. You open the door and their jumping at his legs, yipping as he comes in and puts down his bag, on their little legs rushing to sniff the new item in the home.

"Sorry about them." You apologize.

Simon shrugs, melting. "That's alright."

The puppies are pretty adorable, one of them even wants to sleep on his bed with him. And Simon gets used to them, pulling them into his lap and stroking them, cradling them, occasionally following you when you take them for walks.

But when you're both sitting in the living room, Simon scrolling through his phone and you on the TV. He can't help looking over and seeing two of them curled up on your lap and passed out. The others all snuggled close as you barely cling on to the TV remote.

He stares, lip turning up slightly under his mask, seeing how cute the scene was. It was pretty damn adorable.

And he's going to miss those puppies when he goes home. But now he has a nes perspective on you as well. He knows you're gentle.

You pretend not to have emotions, and in your line of work he understood, but he saw the gentle side of you. The nurturer, even if it was too a bunch of cute puppies.

Also.

Let him see your puppies again.

Please.

He's begging you.

John "Soap" MacTavish

Now, Johnny probably would have declined your offer to stay at your house if he knew you had dogs. Johnny hates dogs, and is not afraid to kick one on the spot.

But you wanted to throw a party for your birthday and he couldn't just.. decline to go to your birthday. That was horrible, he was invited, he had to go!

He doesn't want to be cruel to dogs or go out of his way, but they scare him. And he doesn't like being near them.

He grabbed his bag and knocked on your door, immediately tensing when he heard the sound of yips coming toward the door.

Please don't let it be a big dog, please don't let it be a big dog.

You rushed to the door, struggling to open it and Johnny was suddenly swarmed by tiny puppers.

He tensed a little and you apologized, herding them back inside and letting Johnny in. Luckily they were distracted by the scent on his bag long enough he could make it to the living room.

"Sorry about that, should have told you."

"Oh ah, no no that's alright..."

He chuckles softly as the puppies get excited from the new guest, some scrambling to hop into his lap when he sits down and you have to gently remove them from him so he can get settled.

You smile softly as you pull them off and gently, lovingly scold them on crawling all over him. He can't help a little smile when you pick one up, drawing the rest to follow you to the couch.

You flop down, tossing Johnny the remote as the puppies crawl up to you, yipping and snuggling up.

Johnny puts on some YouTube video for experimental slow motion capture explosions for a bit.

Eventually looking over to see if you're even interested, only to see you passed out on the couch with the puppies all curled up.

He watched, smiling softly seeing you so relaxed. You were gentle and kind and now you were soft, all curled up like the world was calm. He grabbed the throw blanket and gently laid it over you, turning off the TV.

One of the pups squirmed out from under your arm, yipping as he moved to the stairs. Johnny shushed the pup softly so you could continue to sleep and he headed down to his room.

You were pretty cute like that, all curled up with a bunch of puppies.

Just... It might not be as cute when they get bigger.

But for now, absolutely adorable.

And now he thinks he might try to get you to open up a little more. Because clearly you aren't simply what you want to be seen as. And he wants to know you. That gentleness he saw that day with your puppies.

Kyle "Gaz" Garrick

Kyle doesn't feel any which way about either animal. He's slightly more of a cat person but would say he likes cats and dogs equally.

He didn't really have any particular thoughts about you either. You were on the team, you got the job done, and that was good. You were quiet, like Ghost, and that was something he could appreciate.

He might have declined the offer to stay over, but it was you'd birthday and you had offered. And what's a week in someone else's home he didn't have to worry about rent and resources? (Gaz math)

So he found himself at your doorstep with really not much idea of what to expect. He didn't think much of it when he rang the doorbell and heard a bunch of yips and little barks.

You must have dogs. Or puppies from the sounds of it.

And he was right, looking down as you opened the door, seeing puppies skittering around and wiggling excitedly. You opened the door, nodding to Kyle, who nodded back.

"Sorry about them, off." You commanded, helping Kyle to put his bag down on the kitchen chair. He watched the puppies dance around between and around his feet.

"That's a lot of puppies." He put his hands in his pockets.

"And I love them all." You smiled softly, cooing them over to the couch. Kyle watched all of them waddle over, yipping and scrambling to get up into the couch.

You curled up in a blanket with them all, one of them staying back to sniff Kyle's pantleg and nibble on it a little.

Kyle watched the little puppy, bending down to pick him up and felt his soft coat. He was very cute puppy, very light too.

"They are beautiful... What breed??" He looked up, noticing your eyes were closed. The light from your blinds casting on you in just a way he could tell it had been a long day.

He smiles softly, thinking how cute it was paired with your earlier words.

He attempted to put the one puppy down but it scrambled back, following him as he took your advice and also went to pass out for a nap.

Eventually waking up with that same pup curled up with him. He went upstairs to see you still sleeping, and he couldn't help thinking it cute s second time.

You were soft, gentle with the small animals. So comfortable with them. He couldn't stop s small smile. So this was the real y/n... He'd like to see more of you.

And he thinks your puppies are adorable.

John Price

Price is like Kyle in that he doesn't really prefer one species over the other, he vibes with both. Though he's leaning more dog person.

You on the other hand, your skill alone is what got you on the team. Price wishes you would be less 'emotionless' and try to open up even a smidge to the others. Even a little bit of teamwork can lead to a lot of success and smoothness.

But oh hell he picked you all...

That's what he couldn't help thinking as he drove down to your house for your birthday. It was mid leave and Price was headed over to celebrate the day with you and make sure you wouldn't be alone.

Showing up at your door, he didn't his little dad shoulder roll and knocked. When he got no response he rang the doorbell, immediately hearing loud barking and yipping.

His eyebrows raised slightly. He didn't take you for a dog person. Unless he's at the wrong house, in that case, fuck him.

But he's reassured it's you when you open the door, giving him a half a smile for effort. "Captain, sorry, I was trying to put them away."

Price chuckles when the small puppies jump up at his legs and run around him, smelling all the new smells on him.

"That's quite alright."

You open the door further and let him inside. Price steps in, the small puppies yipping and jumping. You try to gently scold them off but Price doesn't react, letting them do their thing.

"Sorry, I can make you tea, we can sit down??"

Price nodded. "That sounds lovely actually, thank you."

You nod, grabbing out two cups and getting the kettle ready.

You two pass time talking until you get to the couch, Price crossing a leg over, one of the pups hopping up into his lap, yipping at him and snuggling up to his stomach.

Price can't help chuckling again as you talk. The rest of the puppies curl up with you, you'd arms wrapping around them all, trying to squeeze your love gently into their tiny bodies.

The quietness somehow seeping in along the way until Price looks up from petting the small puppy to see you nodding off against the arm rest.

The sun through the window hits you nicely and Price sighs softly. Seeing how tired you looked, how gentle you were.

Price always knew it, he knew the soft soul under those faces. And now he saw it, seeing how utterly adorable you were curled up with your puppies.

He walks over, setting down the pup from his lap against you, having a feeling he'd feel better there.

He pulls the throw blanket over you, rubbing your arm gently. Guess he's making dinner to give back for making him tea.

He looked back into the living room, seeing you still passed out. Maybe, with some more work he can get you to open to him. He liked seeing you so cuddly up.

You were so gosh darn adorable, almost as adorable as the puppies themselves.

I got BG3 request in my head for sometime. Um how would Astarion, Halsin, Gale, and Shadowheart react to a s/o or a tav that has a dog that fights along side with them like a tibetan mastiff, or a Akita, or maybe some other breed that is known to be made as guard dogs and protective of their owners? Maybe the dog more or less tolerates the LIs but still keeps an sharp eye on them. (Especially Astarion XD)

Note(s): I have watched videos on the LIs reacting to Scratch and Astarion's reactions always kill me (and make me cry the most). I'm happy to write this for you!

WARNING: Mentions of Dog Being Injured in Combat

Astarion

Considering his interactions with Scratch, he'd also act very indifferent when it came to your dog. Sure, it's a great meatshield, but it's a stinky animal.

Astarion is constantly telling you to just leave your dog at camp, acting like it gets in the way and is a nuasance, but he just doesn't want to see it being hit by a spellcaster or shot with an arrow. If ANYTHING bad happens to this dog then he'll lose it.

Honestly offended that your dog is indifferent to him. As if he hadn't been collecting the bones of your enemies to gift to the furry mutt. Very rude.

Gale

He's more of a cat person, but he loves you so he doesn't mind your dog. Although, he can't help remarking that your dog knows he likes cats considering how your dog is very indifferent to the wizard.

Gale makes sure to give your dog some good treats and headpats when he goes to spend time with you. He knows how much you and your dog have been through and he's going to thank the doggo.

Okay, but while Gale is more of a cat person, he can very much appreciate how pretty your dog is. He insists on giving your dog baths to keep its coat shiny and not bloodstained as many battles tend to leave you all.

Halsin

Oh Halsin absolutely loves your dog. It's a very strong breed and the gooddest boy/girl (besides Scratch) and he would love to cast a Speak with Animals to speak to your protector.

Your dog being indifferent towards Halsin does cause him to chuckle a bit. He promises that he'd never think of stealing you away from your precious companion and instead thanks your pupper for keeping you safe for so long.

Halsin enjoys wrapping you in one arm while his other is brushing your dog. The last thing he (and you) want are your dog having mats in their fur due to all the constant travel and battling you all somehow end up in.

Shadowheart

Like Astarion, she is also very iffy about you bringing your dog into combat situations. She understands that your dog is very loyal and keeps you safe, but she worries about something going wrong.

You can't always prepare for when someone wants to stop talking and switch to stabbing and she'd hate for your dog to get in the way. She knows your dog is indifferent to her, but she really hopes your dog also knows that she will keep you safe while the little guy is safe at camp.

Besides that, she does try to pet your dog and give the little guy plenty of loving too. Your precious dog will get all the praise for the goblins it ripped apart for you.

im rolling around and daydreaming about Woof Woof! Johnny helping out Reader who has chronic pain,, kinda inspired by the whole leaning on him when it's icy outside thing

You wake up and just know today will suck, feeling the familiar ache in your body. Stirring a little next to you is Johnny, your sweet wolf-dog. His ears perk up as you groan, barely sitting up. You turn your head to look at him, and his ears droop seeing your pained expression. "Hi John-bon," you mumble, carefully scratching behind his ears. "We can eat in a minute, sorry buddy." You continue mumbling, mindlessly scratching behind his ear. The slouched position you sit up into quickly becomes unbearable, but so does laying down on your back. Groaning again, you rub your face tiredly and try not to clench your teeth while climbing out of bed. Johnny, the clever pupper he is, practically scrambles off the bed to help you get up. You lean against him a little, not wanting to put too much weight on him while also needing the support. He whines and you shush him softly, scratching the spot of fur your hand is on.

"Thanks, baby. You're so helpful," You coo at him as you both walk to the kitchen.

The day isn't very productive, Johnny won't let you get off the couch. The most he'll let you do is go to the bathroom and the kitchen, or to get something to help ease your pain. It's weird to you, seeing how he seems to understand what you're saying.

"Johnny, I gotta get some meds." "I gotta get some tape," or "Baby, I need to get my heating pad, please let me get up." And he stops trying to herd you back onto the couch. He supports you while you get your item(s), gently nuzzling his nose against your hip when you pick up the thing(s) you need.

Anyhow - that's some of my brain worms tonight! Lol have a good night!! I'm very fond of Woof woof! Johnny :D

Ohhhhhh oh oh I love this. I love all of this. He would be doing everything he could to help you through the day. Wishing you would just stop being stubborn and call “Soap” so he could show up as a human and do so much more. Thank you for sending this!!

He has helped you through some of your hardest days and made you smile through them

He's your alarm, your annoyance and happiness, your protector, your best friend!

So when you arrive home from work or school (or both, ouch) and Ernest doesn't come running up to you in happiness that his human is back?

You basically felt your heart leap into your throat, and your stomach drop onto the floor

You dropped your stuff on the sofa and search high and low for him

Calling out into your backyard,.looking for if he'd made any holes in the ground and scooted through and out

Looking into your room, in the bathroom

You looked everywhere for your best friend

Tears had just started to appear in your eyes as you sat down on your sofa with a dreadful feeling in your stomach

You felt sick

You stood up, took a cold shower to clear your mind, and changed from you work/school clothes to more comfortable clothes

Aphelios didn't seem like the one to like dogs, more like a cat person, but Ernest was the one who came up to him first and sat on his feet for pets and affection

He definitely fell in love with that squishy and incredibly round face

K'sante is definitely mire if a cat person, but doesn't mind any dogs, he's a strong mannnn- uh oh HES GROWLING AT HIM

Yone agrees to keep him on the set, but on the condition that after they record, they call ernest's parent/parent's

They all agree and start recording their new drop with the dog.

After shooting, ezreal, sett, and kayn were all playing with ernest while yone and aphelios were editing their video

K'sante was left with the job of calling Ernest's mom (They found out after your phone led them to your custom voicebox)

With you? You were crying your eyes out

You've been searching everywhere for Ernest

You had just arrived home to shower again, change and cry yourself to sleep

And what made your day even worse than it already is, your phone died and your charger won't work so you don't have a phone for a few days (you were free for a few days due to the boss having some problems)

You could totally buy a new charger but you felt too depressed to do that

You arrived home and fell asleep when your head hit the pillow due to emotional exhaustion.

You just hope that Ernest is doing well

Safe and sound

Sett literally let Ernest sleep with him

Throughout the night, Aphelios stayed up to edit everything, so it was ready to post the next day (impossible ik but IMAGINE LMAO)

That next day, you would have been excited to watch this new boy group that was debuting but

Ernest wasn't there to make your day better

So you did your daily routine without your happy boy, a sad cloud floating about your head.

You didn't do anything throughout the apartment, it being horribly messed up because of Ernest's dissapearence

Eyes bloodshot, you watched the music video on the tv that was posted only for them to woden when you saw your boy in the video

You had to pause the video

it is Ernest

You were just about to cry before you look at your phone

They must have been calling you about it, but because you were so distracted and sad and more

You didn't pick up

You fell to the ground as you cried

Your baby is okay, he's fine

Nothing happened

You're so happy but so guilty

After you wrap your head around what is happening, you instantly get ready to head out.

You get your dead phone and keys, lock the door, and drive ti the nearest gas station and buy a charger

And right when that phone hits 1%, you turn it on, wait a few seconds...

And when it turns on, the calls come rolling it

The voice-mails and calls

So many OH gosh

As you call them back, you couldn't help but let tears start filling your eyes

"Hello?" An accented voice came through, the voices in the background being quite loud

"Umh, hi... I'm sorry for not uh,,, picking up yesterday, I'm Ernest's owner..." You sniff after talking, tears threatening to fall over

"OH yeah! Thank you for calling back! Where would you want to meet to take im back?"

"Urh,.anywhere is fine. I can buy you guys something in the coffee place nearby for leaving you with Ernest"

After that, you landed at a small coffee place, waiting outside for a group of men to enter with a dog

Your legs wouldn't stop moving, and your mind was running a thousand miles per second

This cannot be healthly

It is only when you see a tall man with red and white hair walk in front of a group of men with a leash in hand and a dog pulling on him

Only then does Ernest pause and become sheepish

His nose knew that smell, you were sad

And he knew he was the reason for it.

So, as the group walked towards your table, were you were standing

Ernest ran towards you as you fell to your knees and cried

The boy group couldn't help but feel sad, just imagining how they would feel if their pet or best friend wasn't there where you're used to seeing them?

Yone felt like he should have tried calling more

But sett, ezreal, and kayn felt way more worse

They were loosing their new friend

Poor babies

Aphelios tried to comfort Sett and Ezreal while Yone and K'sante spoke to you about how they found him and how they tried to contact you

And you told them your side of the story

At the end, before leaving the coffee place, ezreal built up the courage to ask if they could come visit and play with Ernest later on

And you, knowing that Ernest most likely loved being with the boys, you agreed.

They gave you their number so they could set up some days and basically babysit Ernest while you're at work and you take him to their concerts where you'd get free/cheaper tickets so they could see him after performing!

How sweet they are 💙💚💜💗❤️

I was at the store and saw this adorable big pupper tied to the pole at the entrance (safely in the shade ofc) and my mind jumped to a meet cute with Frank where he needs to step into a store real quick and when he comes out there's you, crouching next to his rescue pit pupper, doing the full doggy babytalk 🥺

Woman, OMG i've been hoarding this in my inbox hoping i could muster up a lil ficlet...

It's the deep brown eyes that get you first, that draw you in closer as you're walking down the street. Such a handsome face too, a little grey around the muzzle but what a gorgeous smile he has. That's it, you've fallen hard, you're in love. Then the tail wagging starts as you get near to the outside of the store where the friendly pibble dog is tied up under the shade of the awning and you melt a little more.

"oh my goodness hi!" you exclaim, patting your thighs as you bend down a little to say hello. "aren't you such a good boy?! who's the most handsome boy huh?! Is it you? oh is it you baby?"

"I was kinda hopin' it was me, but m'not mad if I lose out to this fella."

A gruff, gravelly voice draws your eyes up from the dog licking at your face to an imposing but equally handsome bearded man with an utterly panty-soaking smile, beautifully mesmerising dark brown eyes, an adorably huge broken nose, and hands that you're instantly daydreaming about being wrapped around your neck.

"uh, hi there."

"hey. I see you've met Harley, and you're right, he is a good boy. I'm Frank by the way."

You get to your feet, your hands still absently petting Harley as you fully take in the wall of hunk talking to you.

"well hi there Frank." you reply with a smile and then introduce yourself. "And what about you, are you a good boy?"

He chuckles and shakes his head, a gentle blush dusting his cheeks and his eyes crinkling in a way that makes you wanna find out what else makes him do that.

"S'not for me to say," he replies, flashing you a shy smile that just made your mind up for you whether or not you make an incredibly bold move.

"That's a very interesting answer," you counter, conscious of the way he's subtly checking you out as he un-knots Harley's leash from the pole. "maybe I could gather some evidence and let you know, over a drink sometime?"

Frank's smile morphs into a grin. "You free just now? Harley and I got this real nice regular joint nearby, they've got some good eats too if you're hungry." Frank tells you as he turns slightly to gesture along the street, inadvertently giving you a view of his ass in those well-fitting black jeans.

"Sure! lead the way, I'll follow that tail anywhere."

But with this being the first time going to the volleyball arena that was filled with people you were very nervous

It also didn’t help that your girlfriend had to arrive early to set up the cheer squad and make sure everything was perfect

So Akane was calling you to help you get to the right area where the Nekoma game would be

That was until some guy approached you

You immediately got nervous but was able to tell the guy you weren’t single

Until you remember how confusing the layout for the arena was and you were currently lost

Luckily you were able to text Akashi where you were so all you had to do was wait until he arrived

That was until a certain setter came up to you

This boy saw you looking real cute and probably got a crush, so of course he ran up to you to talk

Even if you didn’t respond to him he would still talk

You were kind of just awkwardly standing there as a golden retriever in human form was excitedly talking to you

Looking around you tried to find Akashi in the crowd, when you did you immediately called him over with a worried look

You didn’t really think Koganegawa would do anything you were just too socially awkward to say a word to him, and you were just overwhelmed with all this excitement on you that you were basically on the verge of a panic attack

Akashi immediately seeing this quickly walked over to the both of you and standing in front of you, then grabbed your hand and just dragged you away from Koganegawa

Akashi knew you were overwhelmed so he decided the best option was to take you away from the situation so you could calm down

I’m pretty sure Osamu wouldn’t really understand why you were so anxious all the time

He just didn’t really get it probably still doesn’t get it but he’ll try his best to help you!

I 100% believe this man would fall in love so hard, especially if you encourage him with his cooking dream and tell him he would be a wonderful chef

This boy would spoil you with so much food, you literally don’t have to buy food

Lets say you were hanging out with Osamu before the game started and noticed his water bottle was getting empty so you offered to refill it

Osamu would say he can do it but Atsumu got involved so a fight was bound to happen between the two, so you just decided to refill his water bottle and get back before he noticed

Now while the game was almost going to start you would assume that outside the arena would be very empty…

Many stalls were around for merchandise as well as many people walking around the place, which honestly put you on edge with how many people were here

He would definitely intimidate anyone being rude to you, probably just stands behind you while glaring at the person

Aone would be your silent cheerleader

You were able to ask a question in class, you receive so many head pats

You talk on the phone with someone, boy Is very proud

Able to order lunch by yourself, Aone will pay and give you more food you deserve it ☺️

For the random word prompts have some crafty words: knit, crochet, sew, mend, needle, thread and scissors. I gave you a lot because I don't think many people use enough craft Hobbies and skills in fics and I love reading about my favorite characters using skills I love.

Tbh I don't really have much prose-wise for craft stuff at the moment, I'm pretty sure everything craft-related on my docket is still in very loose outline form? Like ALL my uses of "needle" are ethically-dubious-lab-related, for SURE.

Buuuuut I can give you this very professional outline excerpt from a crack AU where Kon gets turned into a small and adorable puppy and things get ridiculous and cute and low-key emotional from there, if you want a little bit of crafting, lol.

Krypto picks puppy!Kon up by the scruff and takes him home to Metropolis lol

Clark is puzzled, Lois is amused, 10yo!Jon is DELIGHTED because Krypto had a PUPPY!!
