Mysterio is definitely a top tier spidey villain. Knowing me and my obsessive fondness for anything that glows in the dark I decided to

A) repaint the head of my Mysterio funko pop because I hated how it had zero painted definition to it. Just a solid grey color. Ew.

And B) add glowing details to him! Working with any glowing pigment can be a hassle and a half but it’s usually worth it in the end 🤩

No idea how I’m going to match the skin of her face to the body but for now, I used a colour I’m not fond of. However, the execution goes well with her twin tails and I’m actually loving it.

So I made a Nakamori pop figure.

I have some of those custom DIY Funko Pops that I still wanna do something with someday, but for now this is just a head-swap and a repaint. (Will Truman body and Fortnite head, if you’re curious.) I still love how it came out so much! It broke one paintbrush and snapped some blades off a box cutter but it was worth it.

Mini project! More like I ended up with a second Chopper funko pop and wanted to repaint him. I have the two pride month droid pops (R2-D2 and BB-8) and I figured let’s add C1-10P to the lineup! I wanted him to feel like he goes with the others with the white body and colorful bits, but also to keep his mis-matched strut because that’s just part of Choppers charm. Lil guy is an old fart with definitely not all original parts 😩 but we love him all the same! Also wanted to keep some areas grey on him since he IS old so he wouldn’t be all white and rainbow, right? Hopefully with things at work calming down a bit I’ll be able to get back to working on body pillow designs.

I finally found a reason to use my years-old Bratz switched a witch body. Repainted and mod podge, I made another Funko Pop hybrid.

Apologizes but I’m too blah to make a decent background. Fear my messy desk 😅

Pleasantly surprised and happy she could fit Rainbow High shoes and of course, I kept all my Bratz clothing so she got the darkest outfit available.

I like the bit of colour pop to her.
