Been getting tired of my old name/handle online as Zofia. I really wanted a refresh and have been enjoying going by Aev for some time now so that's what I'd prefer folks call me 💗 With this change I am also transitioning my art handle away from artofzofia to just aevari going forward as well. What are some ideas you have floating around that you don't have any plans on writing but like to entertain as a thought?

Many of them, in fact! Though they sort of vanish from my memory if I don't make a record of them, here's a few ones I jotted down when they came to mind.

For a domestic one: Bill thought he'd hate a lot of being married! Even though he loves Dipper, he thought he'd rebel against the chains of domesticity - and in some ways he still does - but one major benefit he's found is not having to be 'on' all the time.

No need to be perfectly performing all the time! No shoving around for social influence, no intimidation, or clever tricks. No commanding attention or taking up the room. Hell, there's surprisingly little upkeep! Bill can undo his tie and pick his nose and bitch about his day to someone who isn't bending over backwards to agree with him on everything. Someone who doesn't give him a weird look and sneer if he, god forbid, actually wants to sit down, read a book, drop the grin for an hour or two.

The concept in question is Bill's very first moment of great surprise. That when he isn't being the most charming, terrifying, and exciting guy in the universe, and just chilling out for like, five minutes, Dipper comes over and snuggles up to him on the couch, or wraps his arms around his shoulders and kisses the top of his head. And when Bill asks 'what was that for?', Dipper shrugs and goes 'eh, just felt like it'. It's both baffling and extremely compelling.

A short where Reincarnated Dip is Definitely Sure he's Not Gay!!! Especially not for this Hot Demon Man who is getting so close and touchy with him with his big smile and horrible wiles. Yep. Just keeping an eye on him to make sure he's not up to something Nefarious ™.

Proud of Billie Eilish for being open about her attraction to women. She’s been strongly hinting at it for a couple of years, but people have used a video she did when she was 16 to prove she is straight, no matter how clear her hints were recently. I hope this helps some people understand a few things about sexuality and how your identity can change as you grow up, or you can be afraid to say it to millions of people or even one person, but just because you don’t say it out loud, you can show it in many ways.

She didn’t label herself, so some people will still not “believe” it. I imagine the “I’m straight and I kiss my girlfriends all the time” crowd will not be moved. But I continue to find it fascinating and amazing how Gen Z approaches sexuality. Things changed so fast over the last 10 years, and even the last 5 years. I expect the next years to continue to change. Hopefully for the better.

hmm i wonder what yall's opinion of this is but i'm not entirely sure of how i feel when it comes to gender selected/ gender variable ROs in IF games? like on one hand these games are very much geared towards wish fulfillment and personal fun (a good thing!) so choosing makes that easier, and it also makes it so that more underrepresented dynamics (like an all female RO cast for a lesbian character) are able to be played out, which are all very good.

but on the other hand i feel like it takes the teeth out of some of the character decisions? Adam and Nate wayhavenchronicles being a knight and sailor respectively is all well and fun, but Ava and Nat?? that's crazy. a woman knight and a woman sailor?? there's such an interesting story and implied history that would inform their personalities. Like yes, A is the same character no matter what, but a lot of character information is lost in that changeover (information that was probably unintentional but, yk). A butch knight who lives through 900 years of western history has a very different reasoning for being the way she is than a noble blond man lol.

like both are valid approaches to take, both serve their functions, and in certain settings the gender difference is not going to be an issue, but when it does have a real world historical basis it tends to take me out of it a bit lol. idk!
