Behold, crossovers! And all with the same show, at that.

First up is Greg and JF with Sarah and Duck. Two cute, funny little kids and their green pets (though one pet seems a little perplexed). Greg and Sarah would be best friends and nobody can change my mind. (Also, fun rock fact, this was the first OTGW pic I drew!)

The next two are connected. See, the instant I saw Adelaide, my brain went "evil Scarf Lady". So of course, I had to draw a crossover.

Part One is Adelaide and Scarf Lady just meeting up and looking suspiciously at one another, with strands of wool in their hands.

Part Two is their respective small sarcastic blue characters that have connections to them, Beatrice and Bag. While Bag is just looking confused, Beatrice just goes "Yeah, your Adelaide's way better than mine..."

(Probably my worst Beatrice though, sorry)

Also, "Sarah & Duck" is this one BBC kid show my siblings used to watch. It's a little like OTGW in its oddity and coziness, but less American than British and without the spookiness and drama. It's rather lovely.

so i’ve always been a big fan of the otgw theory that says that the beast and the queen of the clouds are in cahoots somehow, be it that the beast IS the queen of the clouds (trying to trick gregory into taking wirt’s place so that wirt becomes lantern bearer) or that they’re just allies. and for as much as i think this theory is neat, i’ve never had anything to back it up with other than that they both have opera music

but while i was thinking about this otgw coraline au (that i might make into a fanfic idk) i had the idea that “oh what if one of the three wonders that the other mother/the beast (in the au) shows coraline/wirt is ’adelaide of then pasture’ and at first she’s the queen of the clouds but after coraline’s parents/greg get taken she turns into normal creepy adelaide?”

and that’s where it hit me.

what if the queen of the clouds IS adelaide?

both possess some semblance of magical qualities, where qotc has the ability to grant wishes and adelaide has the bird scissors.

notice how the air/wind is what kills adelaide, and queen of the clouds gives greg a wish after he stops the wind.

there are birds flying around qotc’s head. she has a staff with a bird on it.

qotc doesn’t physically exist; she only is within greg’s mind, which would line up with adelaide being dead.

after greg makes his wish and joins the beast, the latter says “we made a promise, didn’t we?” not greg and qotc, but greg and the beast. adelaide says that the beast speaks in her mind. maybe he was speaking through adelaide.

finally, if the whole dream sequence truly was fabricated, who do you think would’ve sewn it together? (this is a joke. mostly.)
