Look at him!! Look at my son!!

He is shedding so that's why he has a grey patch on his back((its gone now but the rest of his body is still shedding)). He is about 5 months old could be 6. Still trying to teach him his name, he loves eating bee pollen and he eats his greens like the big boy he is :} He has a lot of isopods in his cage and baby crickets, so his bio cage is set up correctly. He is still a calm boy but he has a lil sass to him! When my family shit talk him he will snap his head towards them and squint at them lmao. He is also helping my mother with her rubber ducky isopods, she was having a hard time growing her colony. one day we gave them some of Durnehviir's shed and they ate it and started to breed like crazy so now each time he sheds and I'm able to get a piece it now goes to the rubber duckies.

A little update:

🔅Work is still kicking my butt.

🔅I keep wanting to write, but circle back to the first one.

🔅My heart’s been broken again, by the same guy that all of my friends have warned me not to get back together with.

🔅I’m worried that if I do write, it will all be angst. And no one wants that.

🔅Circle back to being heartbroken and crying for days on end. A classic case of me being with a bad boy and facing the consequences: like him leaving permanently and not telling me, and me having to turn to a guy friend for comfort and silently asking the entire time: “Why couldn’t it have been you I fell in love with?”

🔅Now I want to write a semi-angst to fluff fic where Kyō’s that friend. Would anyone be interested in that?

Pic of him now vs a month ago on my sibling's hand

I'm a beardie mom!! He is a Pied Trans Generic stripe Bearded Dragon. Thought he was a she when I first got him as they told me they think he was a girl and when I checked him I saw no balls, but they and i where wrong lmao he dropped them recently!!

I got him last month. I was going to wait until October((my birth month)) to show him as I wanted to make sure he is in perfect health, as I heard that young beardies are more prone to die :(

But I'm really happy with how far I've gotten with him :) he is fed super worms everyday, and crickets here n there. I've introduced leafy greens and fruits((only as a treat!!)) to him which he'll eat with no problem. I'm currently trying to teach him his name :) he is very food motivated((lol me too)) n i think its working.

Right now he has no substrate in his tank((40 gallons for now)) so he temporarily has paper towels. There are arguments on what type of substrate is right for beardies, but he is going to have a bioactive cage, I'm just waiting for the soil to come in. My mother has isopods and springtails as she grows them, so I'm good in that department!
