Persephone: You know what's confusing about marrying Hades?
Persephone: As a queen, I'm considered a ruler with authority similar to the elder Olympians.
Persephone: But when I speak to the elder Olympians, they shush me because I still belong to the second generation.
Persephone: Like what the fuck???

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Persephone (Περσεφονη meaning ‘Bringer of Death’) was the queen of the underworld and wife of the god Hades (god of the dead) in Greek mythology. She was also the goddess of spring and was worshipped alongside her mother Demeter (goddess of the harvest). When Persephone was playing in a flowery meadow with her Nymph companions, she was kidnapped by Hades and carried off to the underworld as his bride. Her mother despaired at her disappearance and searched for her throughout the world accompanied by Hecate (goddess of magic) bearing torches. When she learned that Zeus (king of the gods) had conspired in her daughter's abduction she was furious, and refused to let the fruits of the earth grow until Persephone was returned. Zeus consented, but before she was released, Hades tricked her into eating six pomegranate seeds, which forced her to return for six months each year. When Demeter and her daughter were together, the earth flourished with vegetation. But for six months each year, when Persephone returned to the underworld, the earth once again became a barren realm.

"Back on Earth, Persephone, goddess of spring, was busy bringing the spring season to Greece. At the moment, she was on a hillside planting flowers and melting any leftover snow from the winter."

I love Our Lady of the Underground, Persephone of Hadestown, but Stray Gods gave us the Persephone we (and Hades) deserve.

And the stars the sunshine found and kissed,
Can't resist. The hungry swallow day insists
On shadow. And so we learn to fear the darkness,
But I don't mind, I don't mind.

Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Vicky Walker as Persephone (or Kore):
Queen of the Underworld and Goddess of Spring ☠🌹🥀
In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Persephone (also called Kore or Cora), is the daughter of Zeus, the chief god, and Demeter, the goddess of agriculture; she was the wife of Hades, king of the underworld. She is goddess of spring, the dead, the underworld, destruction, life, grain, and nature. True to her double nature, Persephone was imagined as having two homes: one on Olympus with her mother, Demeter, and the other in the Underworld with her husband. According to Homer, she also possessed sacred groves on the western edge of the world, near the entrance to the Underworld.
Vicky was chosen to be Persephone because of the dichotomy of her story - Heaven's Secret, choosing between being Angel and Demon, similar to Kore/Persephone who also has two aspects, both related to life and/or death.
