I am putting this thought here cause I think a lot about the Kraang and it is sad to see that the Rottmnt community reduced them to nothing more than set pieces or a hivemind (when they're clearly not)

I want to delve into Kraang3's abilities and how they differ from his elder siblings. so let's focus on the most DANGEROUS one out of the trio

Before I continue I do want to emphasise this point cause i cannot stress this enough, the Kraang themselves are NOT a hivemind. 1 & 2 throughout the movie have many instances of being individualistic, acting upon their own desires- the slight expectation being 3, who is obedient and restrained.

Does this mean 3 is not his own character? nope- he's still his own individual. Kraang3 is a loyal soldier awaiting commands from his Eldest brother 1 but with this being said, he's still capable of acting upon his own volition if the situation calls for it. (I.e protecting the key from Leo, then later on his confrontation with Donnie & mikey within the technodrome. )

"But Brew! How does this tie into Kraang3's abilities?"

You might be wondering. Well, my dear reader- it actually does, in some way. Now that I established that the Kraang themselves are NOT a hivemind. Kraang3 on the other hand, is capable of making them but out of other species.

The Kraang are (while not in a traditional sense) a parasitic-like race. They come to other planets for the pure purpose to conquer... to consume.. to mould the inhabitants into their ideal image.

Anything caught within it is assimilated and turned into a mindless drone. However, there is a slight flaw within 3's biomass. Which is the effects heavily vary upon the individual. Some are mutated beyond recognition- while in other instances- it merely clings itself onto the victim's flesh, invading their minds. The changes heavily vary from person to person. We don't know how far his hivemind can go- but his drones are capable of taking commands from his elder siblings at least. (side note: Biomass contains empyrean, the source of yokai and mutants.)

now, What kind of hivemind does 3Kraang create? The answer is kinda unclear. In some instances where YES, both the biomass and the drones act as an 'extension' of himself but in other moments, they're like worker bees protecting their queenbee. (the queenbee in this case, being the actual kraang, not just 3)

3's biomass can also possess machinery, creating unholy and terrifying abominations against nature. With machines- there is no will to conquer. Furthermore, 3's biomass once it reaches a certain point, can drain energy from an entire fucking city and redirect it into a MASSIVE portal into the sky.

ALL of that- is 3's doing. His siblings are incapable of doing this and are aware of it.

So before I get into that- just what the 1 & 2 abilities are? Allow me to break it down into a simpler list. we know that

Both Kraang 1 & 2 have some Shapeshifting properties. While they are not capable of changing their forms entirely, they can at least shift parts of their anatomy. This aids them in combat outside of their suits (I.e extending their limbs or shifting the density of their flesh)

Krang 1 can peer into his victim's mind. This can only be done physically and through his tendrils. It allows him to dig through their memories and gather intel. The process is evidently painful for the victim causing them to pass out upon kraang 1 retraction. (not canon however, it is worth noting that within a deleted scene. Kraang 1 instead forged a false dream in Raph's mind in which Raph "escaped" and ran back home. This was how the kraang were going to discover Tmnt's home initially)

Kraang1 can block mystic powers. Using his frills- Kraang1 can make a specific soundwave that blocks out his enemy's powers- forcing his opponent to face him and rely on their physical prowess rather than "tricks"

Both Kraang 1 & 2 are highly durable. They had buildings, wrecking balls, fucking 'acid'- thrown at them and while the experience is indeed painful, They manage. They quickly recover from that experience and press forward. They're relentless.

3's siblings never showed any signs of the same powers as he does.

Kraang1 knows this.

Throughout the entire movie. He is seen accompanying 3 the whole time, safely guarding his little brother and dictating his every move along the way. 1 knows how important 3 is to their future empire because neither he nor his sister, have what 3 has. It was not just the Technodrome they needed- it was also 3.

So even when the Technodrome was destroyed. it wasn't just the ship he was pissed about. he was also pissed about his little brother possibly perishing. 3 was IMPORTANT to their conquest, without him, They wouldn't be able to finish what they started all those centuries ago. 3's powers are crucial for their empire.

"you ruined everything!"

1 truly meant it when he said that. He admitted to defeat but retracted that statement with "You think you've won, you wretched little pest." - To sum up this moment, The dude is seething. He is coping that some teenagers outwitted him and killed his little brother, putting a cork in HIS plans. Even with the knowledge that his sister is alive back on earth. There won't be any way for her to 'reclaim' earth- since the two most essential things have been blown up to smithereens.

To conclude this weird tangent.

While Kraang1 is the eldest sibling/the leader. Kraang3 is the more dangerous one because of how he unique abilities. Without him, things would turn out very differently

also- completely unrelated, 3 reminds me of the homophobic dog meme.

As a fem presenting trans guy, Yamato makes me incredibly happy and seen.

Another fem presenting trans guy who's pronouns and identity is respected by those around him and whenever someone does misgender him he corrects them and they start using the proper pronouns.

Everyone: "Man, how does Van Helsing know so much about Dracula and vampires?? Must be a personal connection between him and the Count."

Maybe not none. But. Let me just. Most of the shit he says is filler. "Let me tell you, it's gonna be fucking spooky" is what he says like fifty times over in twenty words or more each time.

Van Helsing says that if he knew all the info he's about to dump on us about vampires, they could have saved Lucy. Meaning he didn't know jack shit. He most certainly didn't know who Dracula was.

Then finally he starts saying things that he may have already known since he cites no specific examples: night vision, requiring invitation, no power in the daytime, the sunrise and sunset bit, etc.. He does cite an example of what "unhallowed ground" vampires can enter uninvited, but that's just to illustrate his point. But then he talks about his friend Arminius.

Van Helsing is really just like me for real oh my god. He sounds like me after just having gone on a Wikipedia binge. He knew absolutely nothing about Dracula before, and he really wants to capitalize on all the new shit he just learned.

imagine being isekai'd into the body of the fl's mother, a woman who died when giving birth to her, but her father was a duke of the North, a man who you had a one night stand with.

ranting time bc i'm actually invested in this idea?!

basically the fl is the mc of an 18+ reverse harem, a duke's daughter that was found when she was 13, as her mother ran away before giving birth to her, she was the result of a one night stand.

since reader get's isekaid into the fl's mother's body when the fl was a baby, reader obviously raises the girl, leading the fl to be somewhat dependant on reader??

reader is absolutely terrified of the northern duke bc that man is rutheless to anyone who isn't the fl, so when the beginning of the story starts, reader basically leaves stuff for the fl before running away to the capital and start a new life, hoping to stay in hiding and become practically invisible.

spoiler alert: that went down hill because reader somehow helped one of the emperor's CONCUBINES?? so yeah! reader became a lady in waiting.

the reader, now a lady in waiting for one of the emperor's favorite concubines, you were bound to meet and befriend the love interests, the crown prince, his childhood bestfriend(the villain), and the crown prince's personal knight. they, obviously, get attached to the hip when they met you, like hello?? new mother figure??

now you got three clingy children— wait, and also an obsessive concubine you work for. neat!

the empress catches news of one of the concubines' ladg in waiting befriending her child and gets wary bc are u gonna kill her son?? 🤨 basically you two become friends(more-so one-sided bc the empress falls for you(tfw u got w rizz)) and now you got two obsessed adults!! +the emperor but shh

i feel absolutely guilty saying i enjoy the umbrella academy because last episode i watched, i fell asleep. don't get me wrong, its has good scenes with good lines but it's not exactly great...

For example, Klaus's character. in the first season they display him as a comedy relief of sorts every majority of the scenes he was with someone. The writers did not hesitate to make a situation where klaus isn't a complete moron with others to the point it HURTS SO MUCH. i cannot watch klaus in the first season without turning my head away, im sorry.

Also Diego and Patch's relationship?? don't even get me started.. Every scene with Diego saying some smug and flirty shit to Patch, she just looks so done with him?? like miss does not CARE for diego whatsoever. she looked so done with the guy, not interested in his attempts either and i know for a fact im not wrong because everytime i rewatched the umbrella academy she looks more miserable with diego.

In conclusion, i think some bits of the story we're unnecessary and five just literally carried the WHOLE plot of the whole show and it's sad because his siblings go on about their own little shenanigans

(First off I would like to apologize for being away for so long, math is currently kicking my ass. I have been trying to write in between classes though and on weekends so expect something maybe not a lot so soon but it’s coming ~_~;)

Okay as we all may know there is a new event in the Japanese server of Twisted Wonderland. I’m not even going to lie I found out on accident. I was just watching Twst tiktoks after finishing work in class and it’s all anyone has been talking about. And yes the boys look absolutely fabulous but I just wanna say that the new character they came out with, Rollo I believe his name is, correct me if I’m wrong. If anyone has seen The Hunchback of Notre Dame then y’all should know something is gonna go down.

On another note I just feel very shocked because my homecoming passed recently and it was masquerade theme. I was so excited because I’ve always liked the idea of masquerades, and although it was very fun, I’m here for the puffy dress and shimmering suits with capes and gloves type. Which was not my homecoming. Anyway I can’t wait for this event to get translated and believe me when I say I will be SAVING and GRINDING for as many cards as I can get. (Especially Azul, Jamil, and Malleus ∩^ω^∩) (no cuz please Disney take my money I just want them •_•)

i think what non autistic people dont realize about Masking, is that it isn't pretending to like something to appease someone, or smiling at your boss when you truly hate him. Masking to me is literally changing everything that i put outward.

i make my tone of voice higher and i give emphasis where i learned that people should, from observing of course.

i lift my eyebrows and quirk the corners of my lips to appear less "sluggish".

my body wants to move, to comfort itself because I need the stimulation to regulate myself, i supress that. i sit stone still. i remind myself to blink at a "normal pace".

when im walking i am mindful about the way i take my strides, careful to not look too gangly or odd.

if you aren't autistic, try changing all of those things and maintaining them through a conversation. now a full school/work day. don't crack. don't let them know what you're up to.

its hard enough masking daily, but when people tell me, "just be yourself, you don't have to pretend around me," i can't find the words to tell them that its every day of my entire life, that its mentally and physically draining. even though i want nothing more than to just relax, i cant because i cant handle the treatment I'll receive.
