at work it started hailing crazy hard as soon as I got out to lock up the carts at closing and I made a hail snowball which I photographed very poorly. then I brought it inside to show my manager and then dumped it in the sink to die. the white shit in the background is hail in the parking lot btw

i’m still pissed we didn’t get to see the conversation between charlotte, henry and matthew.

something i noticed the other day just to put things into perspective: the miscarriage happened in early 1901, and matthew tells them in late 1903, so about 2 to 3 year lie between these events. for us as the reader the miscarriage happened in mid 2019 when gotsm came out, and math tells them in early 2023, so for us it is 3 1/2 years we actually waited for the resolve even longer than the characters did just to get no satasfying end to that arc. wow.

I feel canon!Wish is good, but your Wish has that Broadway, dramatic, plot-driven feel that makes all good stories

AND THAT AUTHOR’S NOTE? Ngl that last scene in Wish was my favorite because it actually felt dramatic, but now I’m worried for what you have planned for the citizens of Rosas

So glad you liked it! I was really nervous about this one, I’ve been looking forward to write so many stuff that happens in this chapter, from Asha finding out the truth about her parents, and the truth about her grandpa, and what happens when a wish is broken, all of this has been A LONG RIDE to get to this point, so it was so important for me to write it all like I pictured it.

And about Magnifico and Amaya’s love, I can’t wait to share with you guys their backstory, I’m planning on posting it in a fairytale style writing, from Amaya’s perspective, because I’ve already talked about their backstory majorly from Magnifico’s perspective, but left her backstory vague on purpose, and when you find out the things they’ve been through and how they fell in love it recontextualizes so many of their scenes together.

Oh and you SHOULD feel concerned for the people of Rosas :)

Ah I am not good at being comfortable posting fluffy stuff. So I had to put this on a scheduled post timer. However, I think these two ocs of mine are, or well, would have been good together if they ended up talking it out with eachother about feelings. So to satasfy the hypothetical, I drew it. Left is Aureus Snowfall, also know as Jack, Toby, and Tyler. Better know as by my friends as Coffee as he works at a café and smells like coffees and teas, so my friends OCs dubbed him coffee. The right most lad is Alton Goodwin also known as Caldwell, Wiggly boi, and Cinniman because he smells and is coloured simmilar to Cinnimon.

I want Icicle, Sora, Flame, Anemone, Winter, Hailstorm, everyone at Jade Mountain, literally every child in this series to go to therapy. I don't even care about the plot anymore where is the therapy arc.

Also, Tundra and Coral should go to jail merhaps. And like most of the parents in this series.

I hope Coral wakes up one day and gets swamped by her 200 granddaughters from the sons she forgot about.

also, though i have not finished it, i very highly reccommend the fanfic “Healed” by @sandshadow9

its basically the therapy arc that arc 2 should have been, and though it mainly focuses on the trauma of flame, umber, and sora, i think its a beautiful and well thought out take on how the WOF world and ALL its characters recover from war. i consider it the true canon, and is very satasfying to read after how tui failed all her characters miserably
