Look! Another unprompted AU!

I found it sick that The Hollow’s Ishibo always changes each game.

So in this AU, The main six play The Hollow again but the Ishibo is simply raw energy. A glowing purple orb that sends jolts of electricity.

The whole idea is that Kai— being the engineer he is— crafts a weapon/bo staff that harnesses the Ishibo’s power.

He is either manipulated by an NPC villain/opposing team to craft it, or he does it on his own accord.

Either way Kai is the one who makes the Ishibo, using it for himself or having to teach his teammates, since he’s the only one who knows the mechanics of the weapon.

Do you ever think about how Kirk had a "best friend" on the ship before Bones in Gary Mitchell, a man who:

a) deviously manipulates him into heartbreak for Mitchell's benefit,

b) shames him for not being "fun" enough when he's in a position of power,

c) openly insults intelligent and powerful women,

d) treats everyone cruelly as soon as he gets power and tries to seize everything for himself,

e) finds it fascinating that he can stop a person's heart for fun, and

f) tries to murder Kirk instead of admitting that he's a danger to the universe,

and then chooses to replace him with Bones, a man who:

a) tries to save Kirk from heartbreak at every opportunity,

b) gets him to smile and relax by being genuinely interested in how he's doing and telling him that he's great and respected just as he is,

c) openly toasts intelligent and powerful women,

d) treats everyone kindly as soon as he gets power and tries to use it to help as many people as he can,

e) cries about how people suffered when medical treatments were less advanced, and

f) says, "Jim, I can't destroy life, even if it's to save my own. I can't."

since @thedonutdeliverygirl and @jesslockwood were asking artists to do some lockwood and co tattoo designs I thought I'd finally draw the trios rapiers! Its an idea that's been knocking around my head forever so:

lets break it down!

First up is Lucy's rapier! I wanted the design to reflect a traditional fencing rapier. Very utilitarian and heavy hitting since she's the type of fighter who banks more on brute strength then technique.

Second is Georges rapier! I wanted this sword to reflect more historical references of rapiers (I did the smallest google search so if it's inaccurate my bad) because he's definitely the type of guy to commission something historically accurate.

Last but definitely not least is Lockwoods rapier! He's absolutely the kind of guy to have a very intricate and elegant weapon. The cage around the hilt being use to trap an opponent's blade and disarm them, he very much relies of technique rather then brute force.

Might do more of these little tattoo designs later if i'm feeling it ;) who knows!!
