Joe Quinn x Corpus Christi 🌊🏝️

I was inspired by a Joe x color blue moodboard 💙 that I saw and had put my Texas spin on it. All the pics featured in each square are some of my fave spots in Corpus such as the iconic Selena statue, 🌹🤍, The Bay bridge which lights up at night and looks soo pretty, the Texas state aquarium, 🐬⛲️, the coffee mugg ⚡️🪄✨☕️ which for those aren’t familiar is a Harry Potter themed coffee place, which is soo cool in the inside 😁, Hester’s cafe, which the dishes are delish and are named after jazz musicians 🎶🥁🎺🎹, and the US Lexington ship 🛳️

Forbidden Love --Starker AU

Oneshot and moodboard based on Selena Quintanilla´s song, “Amor Prohibido”

He was extremely nervous, Tony had invited him to dinner, and Peter, with his heart racing and his nerves full on edge, had accepted without thinking twice. When he got home, embarrassment hit him like a bucket of cold water, reminding him insistently that of course, he didn't have the right outfit for dinner.

Then, he tried to distract his mind with something else so that his worry would not upset him. Deep in his heart, he knew that Tony wouldn't think much of what he wore, but he still wanted, at least for one day, to get dress in a decent way for him and for the special occassion for once.

When evening came, and Tony opened the door for him, Peter gave him a shaky smile and then they made dinner together. Tony, from the beginning, wanted to take him to a fancy restaurant, but Peter said no. Knowing that he didn't like a lot of high society people staring at him, assuming meaningless things just because of the lack of designer names his clothes didn't have.

"What is it, Pete? You look very deep in your thoughts tonight", the older man said, kissing his knuckles as they arrived later in the evening at his special place, a very humble little house he bought in the same neighborhood as Peter, so he could be a little closer to him. Tony was an important businessman, a renowned figure... who camouflaged himself among low-income people so that he would go unnoticed; something that would be impossible if it weren't for the advice and suggestions that his little lover gave him.

The little boy sighed, avoiding her gaze and tried to free himself from his grasp, without much success.

"I wanted to look good for you, Tony. At least for today, and I..."

Tony Stark raised both eyebrows, looking at him in surprise. "Hey, what do you mean, "at least for today"? Pete, get it straight in your head: no matter what you wear, you'll always look good to me.

The seventeen-year-old was stunned at his words, and a blush spread along his cheeks and neck.

"But Tony... I don't... I don't count on the material things you possess. I..."

"You know money doesn't matter." He cut him off, getting up from the table and gesturing to ask him to dance. With some trepidation, Peter accepted and eventually, they began to wrap their arms in both bodies and start dancing. Embrigued by his expensive perfume and his lovely manners, Peter surrendered himself to the kisses and caresses of his first and only love, and tried to remember his words forever:

"Listen, I don't want anything or anyone to separate us. Hell, I don't even believe that something as banal as money is going to separate us. I love you, Peter."

And Peter, in tears, clung to his words. Because he loved him too. He had loved him from day one since they met each other for the first time, even though they were from different social classes. Like an invisible wall that surrounded them.

What he felt for him, the genuine feeling he harbored in her heart, must mitigate, if only a little, the monetary lack.

Because at the end of the day, it was love that mattered most.
