OSAKA

If you go to Osaka around the end of a month, there's a monthly temple flea market in the Shitennoji temple yard. It's arranged on 21st and 22nd of each month, and regular people are selling there their old stuff, as well as booths selling vintage kimonos, yukatas, haoris etc., ceramics, decorations, lots of antique items, statues etc. Take a subway to Tennoji station, the temple is next it. In Osaka, near Tenma JR railwaystation, is a takoyaki shop owned by an 86 year old lady called Hiroko. She's been making takoyakis for 60 years in that shop. You might have seen this image set of Hiroko giving a piece of her mind about people complaining that her food is too yellow (if not, see it - it's hilarious!) Her shop is called たこ焼き寛子（ひろこ), Takoyaki Hiroko (Hiroko). The address is 5 Chome-6-3 Tenjinbashi, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0041, Japan. If you use subway, get off at Ogimatchi station to get to her store.

If you love toys and anime merch, there are two good spots for these in Osaka; one is the famous Den Den Town and other one is Kiddy Land in Umeda.

You can get to Den Den Town the easiest from Nipponbashi metro station. Just head towards south. You can also walk from Namba to Den Den Town as it's just right the next corner.

Kiddy Land is a bit harder to locate in the gigantic Hankyuu department store (which is like multiple building spreading across the whole Umeda) but you can get there the best from Umeda station. Kiddy Land has lots of toy stores, like Miffy, San-X, and a mixed store of everything cute, and also a Lego store. If you go out from the building from the door next to the Lego store, you can walk a few ten meters to a big Loft-store. It also has some merch, typically San-X and Sanrio and Disney stuff, but on the top floor of the same building there's an anime store. They sell lots of art books, replica swords and also special collectible statues like Japanese deities.

Special mentioning goes to the Namba Daiso (Namba Daiso Nansan-dori). It has 5 floors, all stuff with 100 yens. It's very near Namba metro station, easy to find! If you want to get super fancy and you've got a big budget, the Takashimaya department store is near this Daiso. You can find all kind of food items there, some with ridiculous prices. There's also Daimaru department store in Namba in close proximity - they sell fresh made taiyaki cakes in the bottom floor's food section.

KYOTO

Near Kyoto, you can find a small town of Arashiyama. It is the most well-known for its ancient wooden bridge and bamboo forests. People go just walk around into the bamboo forest. Many movies and TV series has been filmed in that forest. There's a direct train service to Arashiyama from Kyoto. Arashiyama is especially gorgeous at the end of November when the fall has arrived to Kansai area. It's apparently also super pretty during cherry flower season in spring. There are lots of temples in a small area, too, if you want to explore them.

In Kyoto, there's a design shop of SOU SOU. Now, SOU SOU makes and sells handmade tabi shoes, kimonos, yukatas, string bags, dishware, and wonderful print tabi socks but they also have their own, traditional Japanese café at their Kyoto store called Sou Sou Zaifu. You can get only coffee and matcha tea here - the order is hand made in order in front of you. It's very quiet and idyllic, intimate place. I accidentally went here to find shelter from a rain and it was so lovely. Even the shop itself is worth the visit, if you're interested in fashion and design! Read more here.

TOKYO

If you travel in Tokyo, about 45 minutes by train from Tokyo is the city of Saitama. Saitama has a Sayama Hills at Tokorozama, which is also known as The Totoro Forest. Hayao Miyazaki has taken inspiration to Totoro from Sayama Hills. It was hard to find any information of this place in English (and even in Japanese!) in the past, but nowadays there's information in English. Read more here (with a Japanese map)

stalker!jk actually bakes a cake, he buys oc lots of gifts and they spend her b-day at home with the baby watching movies and eating delicious ass foods, her family and friends come over later too for a tiny mini party/bonfire! jock!jk takes oc out shopping, SHOPS TILL THEY DROP, it’s her day so they spend it in all her fav places and even take a trip down to the beach! flawless jk is more sophisticated with how he takes oc out for dinner, a nice long walk along the Han River, and even gifts her like an expensive ass necklace. sbd!jk just books an entire flight to Japan and takes his baby mama and kid to disney land there, he spoils the heck outta oc there toooooo!

Okay, let's go! It's 2024, and this talk should have been left back at the beginning of Holivia, before we'd even spent two years explaining and practically drawing things out for people.

First of all, anon: behind all this universe that you see, there is a galaxy of events that you don't see! And a lot of people working to ensure that you continue not to know how it happens.

To give you a practical example: if you've ever been to Disney, you may have noticed (and if you haven't, here's a curiosity) that you don't see people taking the garbage out of the garbage cans. I dare you to spend a whole day there and send me a photo of a cleaner doing this task. You won't be able to. Because there is an underground world in the Disney parks, where everything happens: where employees walk, where characters hide, and where everything that Disney doesn't want you to have access to happens. This is done to ensure that your experience is not spoiled and that you don't miss out on the "magic" that happens around you.

The same behavior exists in the world of cinema, in the world of literature, in the world of celebrities. NO ONE, in their right mind or of their own free will, will expose to you what goes on behind the scenes. You don't see the storeroom of a shopping mall, you don't see the work of a printer printing books. And when you do, it's all purposeful, organized and clean.

Now, bringing Mitch's show, which is what you mentioned, anon: it really wasn't planned. By Harry, at least. But it's curious, to say the least, that a circus was set up outside the venue where the show was taking place, just after Miss T arrived. Until then, as far as I know, there were no paparazzi or fans at the door, and if there were, they were few. But it wasn't until she arrived that we suddenly had photographers, separate cars, and people shouting her name.

Now answer me this: how did they know she was there if during the whole concert we only saw pictures of Harry? if she had a performance of her play happening the same night? If they told me there were photographers at the back door only, it would make total sense, after all, that's where Harry came in. It stands to reason, then, that that's where he'd come out. But, for some unexplained reason, some photographers knew that they were going out the front door, which Harry NEVER does, unless - mind this - it was planned. If he doesn't want to be seen for some reason, Harry goes in and out through alternative doors, whether in restaurants, concerts, hotels, or anywhere else.

Just do 2+2 and watch the magic happen. Miss T was anonymous until recently, no paparazzi are stalking her day and night. Not even Harry, a three-time Grammy-winning musician, has photographers glued to him all day. And, really, Jeffrey only needs to make one or two calls to the main agencies so that no one photographs them if that's what Harry wants. Do you know why? Because NO ONE is going to take issue with one of the most acclaimed artists of our time. That's shooting yourself in the foot.

Those photographers were called, just as they were called in Japan. There was a plan for them to be seen leaving together and, for that reason, Harry went out the front door. Otherwise, we would have seen photos of him arriving too, but curiously, we haven't.

And, really, to say that you're not a shipper when the first comparison you make is with the Larries shows that you haven't been here very long. Because this is one of the greatest proofs of a disguised shipper, who tries to defend the indefensible, which is that they do call the photographers when it's convenient. Because the whole scene was pathetic, right? She only showed up there to leave with him through the front door, because public humiliation must be a kink. Her boyfriend didn't want to go to her play because he preferred to see his friend play, even though he's been in the same city where Mitch has performed MANY times. But he thought that THAT day and THAT moment was the right time to go to a performance. So, in order not to miss the opportunity, she set up a quick circus there, went to the venue and got five seconds of attention.

But that's what I always say: the devil works faster, but nobody beats Jeffrey Azzof! If he needs to do something to ensure that his main customer is safe and satisfied, he will. Even if it means releasing photos of Harry walking around NYC alone on the same night.

My trip to Walt Disney World’s Epcot as a Regressor!✨🥰🪩 Part Two (SFW)

Here’s the Second part of a thread talking about my day as a Regressor at Epcot! Below I’ll talk about the food, shops and the overall experience!

Disclaimer- No one in my life knows about my Regression so I couldn’t fully fully regress, you know. Didn’t stop me from slipping a few times. I mean Disney is made for the kid inside of all of us! Perfect place for a Regressor!😄

Let’s talk about some food!😋

Like I state in my previous part, Epcot is broken up into two different sections: The World Celebration and the World Showcase.

When it comes to food options, I have a controversial take…don’t waste your time eating in the World Celebration.

In the world showcase which I talk about below you’ll see that there is a grand variety of food option in each country you visit. So take the time to go to your fav country and eat there instead🙌😋

Food in the World Showcase🥖🥨

This is the place to eat because…well…you literally have all the international food you can think of at your disposal! I had an amazing pastry in Norway to start my day off, then I had the most amazing sushi in Japan, then I ate a Jumbo pretzel in Germany. But the best by far was France!

When I go to Disney I’m more of a snack type of person than a sit down at a restaurant type of person. If you’re like me, then you gotta go to the cafe in the France Pavilion! THE PASTRY ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD! I could literally eat everything there😋

For people like myself with stomach issues or conditions, France is your place to eat! If you’re looking for something plain yet filling get yourself to this cafe l and order yourself a baguette! I wasn’t feeling too well when I went to France at the beginning of the day so I got myself some bread and LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS A LIFE SAVER! After that I started to feel better and ordered myself a dessert! So between getting yourself a baguette in France or a pretzel in Germany, you’ll be safe my stomach issue friends💞

In my opinion Epcot is the best place for food. Whether you’re looking for things on the plainer side or are looking for a wide variety. It’s your place to go to.

Shopping in Epcot🛍️

The beauty of Epcot is shopping in different countries. As someone who’s dream is to travel around the world, Epcot is the place!

I’ve always dreamed of going to Japan just for its cute Sanrio stuff alone. So when I went to Epcot I was hoping the Japan store would be the same…

I was not disappointed!!😆

They had it all!! Everything you could think of Sanrio, they had! Also for my friends who love Anime they had a pretty good selection too! This, in my opinion, was the best store in all of Epcot!

Other shopping options🛍️

Every country has a gift shop full of things that are from that country culture. I love China’s Lucky Cats and the Winnie the Pooh selection in the United Kingdom. So whatever country you go to they’ll always have something from the culture and something Disney that relates with it.

But out of the World Showcase they have great gift shops in the rest of Epcot too! Though these sell more generic Disney Merch. Not that it’s a bad thing! I got myself something from here and the World Showcase!

My gifts from Epcot!😄🙌🧸

Like I said above I REALLY wanted something Sanrio from the Japan store! So this is what I got myself!

I got Chococat! 😄 Being a big cat person myself, Chococat has always been my favorite of the Sanrio characters! He is super soft!! I’m so happy I got him for myself!🥰

Lastly, like I talked about in my first part I am a huge fan of the ride Journey into Imagination. So I got myself a cute plush of the ride’s main character Figment😄

The best thing about him is he sits on your shoulder thanks to a magnet! It’s so cute and I got so many compliments from people saying how cute they thought he was!🥰

Epcot overall🪩✨

Overall I had such an amazing time in Epcot! I learned a lot from the different countries I visited in the world showcase and had a lot of fun on all the ride I managed to go on!

Plus I got to meet a character this time! I met Donald who was just outside of the Grand Fiesta Tour ride!

He was so cute!! He kept pointing to his photo and saying he painted it. I complimented his outfit and he was so happy I liked it! He was so much fun to meet and was a really funny character!😂

I would definitely recommend Epcot to everyone who want to learn something new and have a fun time! Between the food and the rides, it was a really great time for me!

Oh! And don’t forget to watch the firework show at the end! It was beautiful! Plus the Epcot Ball lit up along with the show🤩

Why Deny It Uh Oh?

Summery: Tengen and his wives decide to take you costume shopping for the coming Costume/Birthday party of Tengen's. And Tengen decides to play match maker after seeing your choice in costumes.

Story:

You were just chilling in your apartment watching some horror movies when Tengen and his wives kicked in the door startling you and causing you to scream as loud as the person being killed in the movie.

His wives pounced on you in an instant as Tengen busted up laughing at the scene. Your hand covered your pounding heart. “Wha…what do I owe the pleasure?” You questioned wide eyed, “And you’re replacing the door.”

“Ya ya.” Tengen snickered at that, he pounced, landing on the back of your couch and just kneeled there and pointed at you while his wives were cuddling with you. “You are Flamboyantly invited to my Birthday Party!”

Suma nuzzled into your breasts causing you to blush, “We want to take you costume shopping!”

You frowned, “Costumes? Costume Birthday Party?”

“Duh, My Birthday is October 31st after all.” Tengen smirked, leaning even closer, “And a certain Flame Daddy will be there…”

You felt your face heat up at that and you twitched, “Dude, I was going to say yes before you said that, but now that you did, nah…” You stuck out your tongue.

Tengen threw you a look, while Makio scoffed, “Yeah right, so come on!” She jumped up grabbing one of your arms while Hinatsuru softly chuckled.

“She’s right we know you’re coming anyway so up!” Makio let go of your arm to lift Suma off of you, and Tengen hopped back off the back of the couch. Hinatsuru offered her hand to help you up and of which you took it with a smile.

You however grumbled through the smile, “Yeah but you guys don’t need to be bribing me with Kyojuro going. Of course he’d be there.”

Tengen gave a crooked grin, “Amusing considering he’d only go if you were there…”

You rolled your eyes at that not believing him. “Well chill out on matchmaking, I’m sure he doesn’t see me as more than a friend.” you turned from him not seeing him furrow his brow. “Alright, lead me to the costumes.”

The five of you took off finding a shop with ease. The concept of Halloween was growing in Japan every year so it only made sense to find more and more decorations and costumes. Not to mention parties.

Entering the shop Tengen watched as his wives zipped right off excitedly. Tengen chuckled, and clapped you on the shoulder, “So any thoughts?”

“I’m weird when it comes to shopping, I don’t think about it, and then I find one thing and….OH MY!” Your eyes widened and you clapped your hands and giggled, causing Tengen to smile at how cute you were. You ran off to a very corner that was barely visible and you picked out a dress, and wig. You were abnormally excited about it.

Tengen followed you out of curiosity reading the name on the tag. “Megara…Isn’t that the chick from Hercules?”

You nodded fervently, “Mhm, Hercules is actually one of my favorite Disney movies despite it not being accurate to actual Mythology.” you hugged the costume to your chest, “I’m going to be Meg!”

Tengen hummed as his wives heard you. Suma squealed, “You’re going to be so cute!”

“Wait a moment…” Hinatsuru muttered, She found three similar costumes, “We could be three of the five Muses unless we can talk a couple more Ladies into being a muse…”

Your eyes widened, “You guys don’t have to theme it around me! Isn’t your Husband the Man of the Hour with that?”

Tengen hummed, “That is completely up to them, but…” His eyes flashed something wicked as he plucked up a Hades Costume, and pulled you into a one armed hug, “Wouldn’t it be a shame for me to steal you away from your Kyo my dear Meg? My wives as cheerleaders to get you two to confess…”

You coughed up laughing while blushing heavily, “Dear Shiva! You four are terrible!” Tengen watched as his wives all bright eyed nodded at his idea. “You four do what you want, I just want to go as Meg…” You pouted as you went walk away to go pay for it.

Tengen grinned, spotting a Hercules costume. “I know for certain Kyo didn’t get a costume yet.” He grabbed it and hid it under his Hades costume. His eyes then trailed seeing a Phil, and he paused with a wicked thought in his head, “Ladies…do you think we could talk Sanemi into being Phil?”

Suma laughed hard at that, while Hinatsuru covered her mouth with a giggle from the idea. Makio was the only one that raised her eyebrows with a small snicker, “He’ll kill you, but he does love showing off his muscles, no shirt needed for Phil.” Tengen snagged it up, and grabbed the Muse costumes, and laid them all on top of Hercules. “Alright, Costumes picked out! Ladies distract our hopeless Meg while I purchase these!”

You went to walk back towards them, but Makio and Suma grabbed you by the armpits and dragged you backwards out of the store. But you couldn’t help from Tengen’s teasings to think of Kyojuro, and who he could be at the party. You blushed slightly with a small smile as Hinatsuru giggled, unable to contain herself while following you three out. “Who’d you think you’re kiddin’ He’s the earth and heaven to you~”

Makio smirked, continuing on, “Try to keep it hidden honey we can see right through you!~” You face darkened immensely as she poked your nose.

Suma bounced up, “Girl you can’t conceal it! We know how you feeling~” She bounced right into your face and sang with a smile.

All three of them together, “Who you thiiiiiiinking oooooof!~”

You couldn’t help but to laugh at this, “NO CHA…NCE NO WAY I…WON’T SAY IT!~” It was hard to sing straight while laughing hard through it.

Tengen walked out having heard all of it, and swooped to cup your chin in a free hand. “You swoon, you sigh why deny it Oh oooooh~”

For some reason you did a complete restart on that and your face dropped, the four of them gave you a look as you looked up at their husband. “I was unaware that you can actually sing well, Tengen.”

The four of them basically fell to the ground dumbfounded. Tengen jumped up, “We seriously sing that out for you to…Nevermind…” He started to laugh hard before clapping you on the back.

Hinatsuru shook her head, “Did you want to help us with making food and snacks for the Party? I saw this cute mix called “Puppy chow” Basically Chocolate, peanut Butter, cereal and powdered sugar.”

You nodded with a bright smile, glad for the distraction. “I’ve had it before, it’s good! I just want myself some good Dango!”

Suma clapped her hands in thought, “We can shape the dango into little ghosts, pumpkins or skulls!”

Makio blinked, “That…oh…that sounds good actually. Now I want Dango…”

Tengen only looked down at his wives with a soft loving look, “Lets get some then! On me!”

The week went on, and it led to the day of the party, you were snuggled in your costume in the confines of the Uzui residence as the door bell rang. “(Name)! That should be the cake, can you get that!” Tengen cried out of no where.

You went to the door, and opened it seeing thick strong thighs and large hands holding up what seemed to be a large Halloween themed wedding cake. “What…on earth…” The top tier looks to be a fondant decorated pumpkin. It completely blocked out the upper part of the person carrying it.

“AH! Excuse me (Name)! I picked up the cake for Tengen’s Party!”

Your eyes widened recognizing the voice. “Uh, RIGHT! Sorry about that Kyojuro-san!” Your face flushed as you quickly dodged out of his way.

Kyojuro boisterously laughed, “Absolutely fine! Just Kyojuro please!” He turned to look in the direction you weren’t and went in search for the kitchen.

Your eyes narrowed on him from behind, not because he had a cute butt, which he did. But because of a Familiar Blue cape covering his outfit just past his mid thighs, and the sandals…

A headband holding his hair differently.

OH GOD!

You felt a lump in your throat.

He’s Hercules isn’t he?!

DAMMIT TENGEN!

Your thoughts rushed through your head, your heart raced. “Fuck I need some air…” You muttered running out of the estate just as Kyojuro placed the cake down on the kitchen counter and turned around seeing you run out making him confused. Purple dress? Who were you trying to be?

Then for him it clicked.

Tengen dropped off the costume and threw it into Kyojuro’s lap. “What’s this?” His eyes widened as he looked up to his friend.

“I assume you didn’t get your costume yet, this is your costume!” Kyojuro scratched his head, and he looked at it when Tengen said that, “Thank me at the party. Oh by the way, can you pick up my birthday cake by chance? It’s huge and I already paid for it.” Tengen finished with a wink, which Kyojuro brushed off.

“Sure.”

Senjuro had a blast teasing him about the costume. And personally Kyojuro had no issue with Hercules, other than the Mythological inaccuracies, however that was neither here nor there. He understood media was to be consumed as its own separate entity.

Kyojuro softly smiled, and followed you out, finding you with your arms crossed in the Uzui’s Garden. Not even noticing the watching eyes or a camera in a window. You weren’t quite wearing your wig yet, but Meg’s costume looked great to you. Although one of the straps of the dress slipped off your shoulder, while you kneeled down to smell some white roses.

Kyojuro took a deep breath and walked closer, his friends and brother teased him about you often. He always had a hunch that you liked him, but he wanted to hear you come forth first. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt for him to come forth first. Maybe you were waiting on him! He gave a closed eyed grin, “I see you are a Damsel in Distress.”

You froze for a second before you chuckled, “I am a Damsel, I was in slight distress, I can handle this.” You stood up to tuck a strand of hair behind your hair, you turned to look at Kyojuro and your face softened, “Can’t lie, you look handsome Wonderboy.”

That caused Kyojuro to blush and you were almost put in a certain mood to fluster him for some reason, or to continue. “So, Meg huh?” He rocked back on his heels as his eyes widened.

You nodded, “Tengen and the girls took me costume shopping and then they got their costumes themed around me for some reason. Now I know why.”

Kyojuro grinned, “Well now I know why he tossed this costume at me and told me “Thank him later””

Kyojuro watched you slap your own face and drag your hand down, “I told him not to play matchmaker.”

That was it! The smallest admission he needed! Kyojuro’s heart filled with joy. He moved to pick a rose out of a bush and plucked the thorns off of the stem with precision. He moved to tuck it behind one of your ears, and moved to fix the strap that had fell down past your shoulder, noticing your face darkened a little, his free hand went to cup your chin. “May I kiss you?”

You gapped like a fish out of water, “You…don’t need to ask me that Kyojuro…” you gulped as he leaned down and his silk lips touched yours. You felt your heart skip, and the heat of his lips pulling you even closer. His hands moved to your waist and pulled you flesh against him.

Kyojuro’s heart also pounded with the ferocity of a group of lions as if chasing down their prey. He pulled away, his forehead against yours, he beamed back at you, “I’ll have to thank him for playing Matchmaker this time.” He went in to give you a kiss when more company arrived.

“Oh good grief, ALRIGHT BREAK IT UP BREAK IT UP!” Your eyes widened in shock as you saw Sanemi pop up between you two and went to pull Kyojuro away. “Tengen needs you Herc.” Sanemi grumbled.

You stared, as dumbfounded as Kyojuro did as the both of you noticed he was dressed as Phil.

You heard a squeal behind you, and you turned to see Kanroji rush over with her hair in the shape of snakes, with a Obanai trailing behind her dressed in all gray, Kuburamaru snuggled comfortably around his neck.

“YOU LOOK SO CUTE OH! Have you seen Kyojuro?!” Her eyes sparkling in clear mischief.

Of course she would know…

You nodded, “Yes, I’ve found the Wonderboy.”

Kanroji wiggled in place, as Obanai smiled fondly at her. “I’m so glad Tengen went with my plan!”

You deadpanned, “Oh…this was your plan?”

Kanroji’s face brightened, “MHM! I told him to take his wives and you costume shopping for his party so that he could find a matching couple costume for Kyojuro!”

You covered your face. “Oh my…was I that obvious?”

Obanai raised his eyebrow, “You? The both of you were so fucking obvious it literally hurt to watch.” Mitsuri grabbed you with one hand and Obanai with the other, “Come on!~ the Party is starting in like 10 minutes~”

She pulled the two of you into the house, and you stood in shock. Everything was fully decorated. Were you really outside that long?!

Kyojuro stumbled out of a room, and part of the upper part of his costume was deliciously torn, showing off one of his pecks. Tengen dressed as Hades following him out laughing and clapping his back. Spotting you with Mitsuri Tengen’s eyes sparkled with mirth. “SO! Are you two love birds going to sing? Can’t have Disney Characters who can’t sing! That wouldn’t be flamboyant!”

You paled and lost your voice at that. Kyojuro however clapped Tengen on the back causing him to stumble slightly. “Don’t push it my friend!”

Sanemi only rolled his eyes, as he went to find some Ohagi and to talk to Obanai and watch everything unfold. Tengen strolled over to you and pulled you into his arms with a smirk. “Meg! My little flower, my little bird, my little nut-meg…Won’t you grace us with your Flamboyant voice?”

Sanemi tilted his head slightly interested in the little ‘play’ being performed, taking a bite of his Ohagi.

Something flashed in Kyojuro’s eyes at all the pet names. He knew he was quoting, but seeing him pulling you into his arms? And Hearing him say that to you not long after Kyojuro and you confessing? “Alright Tengen, stop it.”

Tengen pinched your cheeks turning you to look at Kyojuro cutely with pinched lips, “She’s so cute! ISN’T SHE! And Fiiiiine. No one is being forced to sing anything. She’s free to go~” Tengen playfully pushed you towards Kyojuro, who caught you easily.

The night had only gotten started and you were already a flustered mess.

My New Boss Is Goofy Episode 1 Review - When Your Boss Is Too Cute

My New Boss Is Goofy is not associated with Disney in any way; I’m sorry if you were actually expecting the real Goofy to show up. This anime is rather cute and comforting. This is actually one of my most anticipated watches for this season because I just needed some comfort in my life. It’s also the first time I am watching workplace comedy. While this looks to be BL, it’s actually a Josei manga.

Anyways, the story is a bit basic. Kentaro Momose has changed jobs after his previous workplace was abusive. The previous workplace has caused him to have mental stress and chronic stomach pain. He’s also very guarded as a result, so his first day at work makes him very tense as he met his new boss. Shirosaki looked very stern but he’s actually very air-headed. He makes very careless mistakes outside of work and the way he reacts is so adorable that it eases Momose’s nerves and eventually becomes a source of comfort in his new work life.

Regardless of the story being basic, I love how the comedy of Shirosaki’s air-headed mishaps aren’t obnoxious or over-exaggerated. Instead, they’re very cute and not as repetitive as I expected. I was expecting the seeing similar mistakes, but the writer did a very good job making Shirosaki’s air-headedness charming. Some of his mistakes are also totally relatable because I’ve made similar mistakes in the past. The part where Shirosaki accidentally talked to the stranger when getting ice cream got to me like that awkward situation happened to me several times in the past.

Despite Shirosaki’s mistakes being the key focus for this show, I do like how it also gives insight to Momose as a character. He’s so anxious and timid due to work abuse from his previous job. It really hits home how bad abuse can be. Having a terrible boss really does kill the work mood. I felt so bad when he recalls the moment his boss ripped up one of his proposals to the point that he’s so anxious at the thought of them being brought up in the present. I know that these types of workplaces exist in Japan and outside. I hope that work tyranny ceases to be because bosses abusing their powers shouldn’t be a thing. I also hope that Momose can get the healing and confidence he needs at his new job.

Shirosaki is also shown to be more than an air-head. Despite his cute mistakes, he’s very insightful and is very considerate. He’s the one taking care of Momose as he takes him out to the aquarium and to the shopping district to show off the types of ads he had worked on in the past. He’s also the one encouraging Momose to try and write a proposal as he noticed how anxious he was when the topic was brought up. I’m sure everyone would want a boss like Shirosaki; I sure do!

I think Shirosaki’s attentiveness is thanks to Aoyama who seems to be as attentive towards him as Shirosaki is to Momose. I like Aoyama. I hope he shows up more. Given that he appears in the opening as one of the main characters, that is likely the case. I do really like how Aoyama cares so much about his workers. He popped a party popper to celebrate Shirosaki’s accomplishment and never mentioned his junior’s fish mistake for the past ten years.

The voice acting is great! If you’re familiar with Boeibu (Cute Earth Defense Club LOVE!), our four main leads are technically a Boeibu reunion! We have Kotaro Nishiyama and Yuichiro Umehara reunite as the main leads once again; they were Atsushi and En from Boeibu and Ryuichi and Kamitani from Gakuen Babysitters! I think this is the first time these two are together as adult leads since the previous two anime I mentioned revolve around high school students. Aoyama is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita who voiced Yumoto’s brother Gora. Sugita is normally known for his deep voice, but the fact that he’s using a softer, higher pitched voice for this character shows that he has range; there’s a reason why he’s such an amazing voice actor. The last of the main four has yet to be introduced, but he’s voiced by Jun Fukuyama who voiced Ibushi in Boeibu. I can’t wait to see the last guy and the cat!

The animation is all soft and I love the color choices! I usually associate A-1 with action-packed anime, so for them to animate a workplace comedy like this makes me wonder why they chose it. I’m sure the animators over there want to animate something cute once in a while, I bet. The music’s pretty decent too! The opening and endings are so cute!

I’ll be continuing on with this anime until the end. I enjoyed what I saw today! I can’t wait to see more of Shirosaki’s mistakes and freak out over how relatable they are with my own; maybe I’ll even reveal more embarrassing Ecargmura stories! I’ve got plenty of air-headed goof ups. Anyways, what are your thoughts about this anime’s premiere?

exploring japan with daniel would go like:

you spent the better part of the last few weeks trying to learn enough japanese for you and daniel to survive your one week stint in the foreign country.

daniel on the other hand, the man didn't even pack until the night before.

well neither did you, but still you were a different level of prepared than daniel. that was the point.

but anyways, you stayed in a hotel in tokyo, a short subway ride from shibuya and all the other fun touristy sites that daniel insisted you visit.

disneyland: - how could you not go to disney? you'd been to their other three locations (california, florida, and paris), why not go to a fourth? - you both went on every ride you didn't recognize and bought so much food. - you even bought you and daniel matching disney ears. - and yes, you both stayed until the park closed.

sensoji temple: - the second stop. though super touristy, you both immediately fell in love with the multitude of cherry blossoms on the temple grounds. - daniel snagged a couple overpriced souvenirs, and even let the locals convince you to wash your hands at a fountain. it's good luck, they said. - "well, i'm gonna need all the luck i can get. c'mon babe" were daniel's famous last words before forcing you to rinse your hands in the frigid water.

tsukiji fish market: - daniel joseph ricciardo is the only man to convince you that the biggest fish market in the world is a must see tourist attraction. and you love the man so damn much OF COURSE you endured an hour of walking past different vendors and the smell of fresh and very raw sea animals. - the trip was well worth it, because then you both sat at a restaurant on the property and enjoyed some of the best sushi you had ever tasted. - "you enjoyed that, huh love?" "yeah yeah yeah, now lets go before the smell really gets to me."

shibuya: - what would be a vacation without taking a trip to the shopping center of tokyo? - daniel (bless his heart), followed you to all of seven stores you stepped into and carried six out of ten shopping bags you had acquired. he didn't understand why you shopped so much, even asking "where is this all gonna go? you only have two luggages." - which then encouraged you to buy an extra luggage. - it was bustling with people (as always) and by the end of your time there, your feet ached and daniel carried you on his back all the way to the subway, luggage filled with your new belongings in tow.

tokyo tower: - the last night of your trip, you gave into daniel's pleading and agreed to go to the tower. - you were so exhausted from the jam packed week, you wanted to skip out on the last thing on the itinerary. - but daniel's pout is enough to pull you out of bed and get ready to go. he's wearing a fun printed button up and black jeans, and you decide to go with a simple satin dress and sneakers. - you slept for most of the ride there, only waking when you were five minutes from the tower. - you weren't the biggest fan of heights, but you had to admit, the view was stunning. you even indulged daniel's request going the next floor up, enjoying the view from the highest point in the structure. - too enamored by the view (and taking photos for your own jpg account) you don't notice drop down to one knee, opened velvet box in his hand as he waits for you to turn around. - you only turn when you hear him clear his throat. you nearly drop your phone at the sight. your throat tightens, and tears begin to well up in his and your eyes. - "i love you more than words could ever say. all i know is that i want the white picket fence and the big backyard for kids. i want the mom car and the dogs. god i want you with it all. i want you until we're old and gray, until i'm pushing you in a wheelchair and you're complaining that i'm going too damn slow. i want you beyond that, into the next life and the ones after that. will you marry me?" - you fall to your knees, arms wrapped around him as you blubber out a "yes. god, yes!" - and so daniel slips the pretty diamond on your left ring finger. and there you were, on top of the world as the future mrs. ricciardo.
