Simply Be...

In this haze of inspiration that has hit me lately to become something “more”, I’ve also come to realize how much of the internet is actually the same. I guess I never really took an interest in social media beyond my circle (which is apparently pretty damn small), so imagine the shock and almost identity crisis I’m going through attempting to not just basically exploit myself to the whole e-world but reinvent myself as well. Now... if we’re being honest I literally Google’d “How to become Instagram Famous”, “Twitter 101″, “Is Tumblr a dying trend”, every question an socially inept person would Google, you know, the usual. The answers I got, got me no where. So, I did what anyone else with no options and creativity would do... I opted to stalking those that do actually have talent. 

As I searched through Instagram, Tumblr, Google, even Twitter (which I’m pretty certain I have no idea how to quite work), I noticed that almost everyone and every profile were exactly the same. Concepts were either the same, the people, places, and/or things were the same. Makes you realize why being e-famous on any platform must be difficult, I mean, how do you stand-out when everything “different and unique” has basically been taken? Do you know what I found out?

You don’t. You don’t try to be anything but yourself because that’s the biggest trend yet... Go figure, after hundreds of years, and millions of self-help books, and thousands of issues of Vogue being sold weekly, we’re back to the same old line momma used to tell you, “Just be yourself sweetie!”

if you think about it, it really doesn’t make sense that an elf’s ability to trance is 100% inborn, or that its their only option/means of rest. it’s meditation, right, and that’s learned, no matter which way you look at it -- phb even implies it takes years of practice to really nail it down. i mean, idc who you are, i cannot and will not believe that an infant would have the peace of mind to achieve such a meditative state lmao... it can’t be a completely natural thing. clearly they have the biological capacity for that to be enough rest, but like... yeah no i don’t buy that it isn’t, at least on some level, a learned thing.

also i just found a 1999 TSR sourcebook that straight up just says “yes, elves are capable of normal ass sleeping if they want to” so i feel extremely validated and also kind of feel like i went on the above shortrant for nothing lol

I travelled for 15 - 20 mins everyday and i had a habit of staring at people's faces as we both passed by each other. Everyday, I meet thousands of people, on my way to work and on my way home.

Every people's faces has their own stories. That is why i love staring at them. I can create stories by just seeing their facial expressions, their actual attitude, their mannerisms, the way they look at people and even the way they walk.

I may not have the gift of everything but i have the gift of eye and that is what i use everyday.

I’m hearing about how my high school is known as a ‘coke’ school now because so many kids there are doing cocaine, which I find absurd. I already knew a sh*t-ton of kids there were doing weed and drinking on a regular basis, but damn, I never knew it was this bad.
