Thinking abt the father/son relationship again so I had to draw these two.
Obsessed w/ what king of relationship a young(ish) Mordred/Medraut and Galahad would've had with Mordred being the living embodiment of the flaws of a man who has, his entire life, had to live up to his own legend and is so deluded by it that he cannot be less than the perfect, holy Christian king and will go through horrible lengths to ensure this image remains (May Day massacre)
and Galahad with his father who is the archetypical chivalrous knight--up until he isn't--and is torn between also living up to his legend or following his heart (dick) and he chooses incorrectly and now Galahad has to pick up the torch his father dropped
For both Galahad&Mordred their paths are chosen before they even have a conception of choice because they are standing in the shadows of their fathers and have to contend with their paternal figures' desire to be perfect and this contention forges them and takes them in two very different directions but fatally leads to both of their ends
And I like to think that they, even if rarely, would have felt some kind of kinship and understanding being in such similar positions. Maybe they would've briefly been good friends

//Again I made a sketch for an rp that I’m plotting with @spxcemuses this time is with my fave movie Quest For Camelot, we didn’t rp with Ruber and this OC (Muse this blog has) yet but I was so inspired that I couldn’t help myself into doing this cover looking pic, I have it safe for a bit and decide to post it now, this time I made with my OC Lily in a Medieval AU where she’s a Duke’s only child, I was inspired in the ‘Lady of the Lake’ painting that I studied back in high school to create her back story in this version of her even re watch the movie for looks reference, it’s also the first time I draw her father I’m already coloring this pic some soon enough I’ll post it here with her backstory.
I hope you all like this
