figured i'd do this again..bit early i guess..

#to cheer me up.. i feel bad atm.. these things don't even make me feel very good tho bc i'm such a narrative/sketch-based artist..#but Proper Beautiful Finished Pieces are what grab attention and look good at the end of the year all neatly lined up lol.....#so looking at a “yearly review” where i can only choose 'the best image of the month' (??) is like...What have i even been doing...#i did a month by month look back on twt for myself instead..but even that doesn't express the quantity of comic-based stuff..#that i do put a lot of time/heart into..but alas i feel bad bringing even them back..RTing/reblogging my own art simply feels bad lol..#AND WHY IS IT ALL B&W...trying to accept that i LIKE doing that and sketching and scribbling..not like i'm trying to like..Get Artist Job..#this year was so profoundly lonely at times bc i spent all my time drawing instead of socialising and trying to find friends....#please please please have achieved more of your dreams in the future so you can look back at 2023 and think..#It was good that happened so that it got me further to the future. #sketch #my art #shigaraki tomura #flowey #wanderer #scaramouche #otto apocalypse #I won't tag fandoms themselves since this is a mess #but this mess really describes what is going on in my head for past couple of months #this is hyperfixation pile #I can talk without rest about those four or at least could when it comes to wanderer #there's simply not enough stuff to talk about #Otto or Luocha too #Flowey and Tomura on the other hand somehow make the simplest stuff seem interesting #like... idk how many times I've talked about ch 235-237 they're just...#anyway it's a month old sketch that I finished just now #and I actually revisited all of those stories at least a little #forgot to color the phone in Tomura's hands but it actually looks better uncolored #fanart #in my head if you try to mix Wanderer with Tomura the latter will just do the same thing he did with Overhaul #which is showing that he is way stronger still #or something like that #Flowey is just chilling and so does Otto #as long as one does't annoy the other they're all chilling #but running is still the best option since all of them are highly dangerous #and would probably make an awful team since 3 out of 4 think that they are the important one of the team #while Otto is the one doing all the stuff while watching them fight #he's literally the voice of reason here and it's REALLY bad if that's the case #he's a great teacher and mentor but his life choices are still questionable #still better than afo for Tomura but eerily similar

Octobear Week 2

Week 2 compilation of Octobear!

This week was a little hard. I lost motivation for much of the week (the weekdays, really). Lots of stress over assignments and midterms, so I did the daily sketches really quickly, lazily, and without heart. So, the outcome was not very great. Today, I decided to take time to sit back and watch the bears for a little longer and then started drawing. I think it turned out much better! It's a bumpy road, but I'm learning from it! Lesson learnt (I already know it very well but it always needs repetition): Art takes time. It really does. Not just the drawing time (the actual drawing part for day 14 took just as much as the ones before). The 'time' here is for finding inspiration and allowing a vision to develop.

Day 8 - I like this Friday piece. Probably because it was Friday. and I could relax a bit knowing I have the weekend to study.

Day 14 - I also like this one. The others? yuck. But I’m posting them anyways to show the process. That’s what happens when you draw without passion. So many mistakes. (actually I like day 12. 747 has a beautiful flat head and great shoulder hump and it was fun drawing him). Interesting that the piece I like is also on a Friday. There is a pattern here. hmmm.
