I try to generally be constructive and engaged with the show I love on here, so on this day, I’ll just say that one of the most thematically important aspects for me from the original ATLA is Aang’s emotional core of real shame for running away when he was hurt by the monk’s decision to send him away. People who feel the kind of deep-seated shame that Aang feels from this decision can understand how that kind of all-encompassing shame is not built around a simple failure or a lie they tell themselves; it’s constructed from real misbehaviors and transgressions of their own sense of ethics—lashing out, telling lies, attempting to hurt others intentionally—that then have consequences (abuses, abandonments, or deaths) which seem to far exceed their expectations or even basic logic.
The combination of the misbehavior with exaggerated existential punishments (along with a lack of support and amend-making in the immediate wake of the events) is what transforms a sense of guilt (I fucked up) into shame (I am a forever fuck-up). Then shame, that sense of being a secret monster ‘no matter what I do or how good everyone thinks I am,’ invites all the avoidance strategies (Aang puts on big smiles, makes lots of jokes, constantly tries to make everyone happy, hops from town to town without building deeper connections). One doesn’t want to acknowledge one’s true feelings or let others in to see those feelings and experiences because it’s too painful to face the grief at the same time that you have to look at yourself for being responsible—even when you recognize it wasn’t totally your fault. It’s just that if you had just been good, less emotional, less human, then maybe the world wouldn’t be so messed up. Of course, in a zen view of things, the world will always be messed up in the same way it will always be beautiful. These are constant facts that always coexist in balance, and this is the truth that Aang learns and that undergirds the whole series.
So I always loved that Aang ran away. It was his sin and his salvation. And it becomes this constant tension for the series—he gets hurt in Bato of the Water Tribe and starts to run away from Katara and Sokka, he runs away to the Guru in the Crossroads of Destiny and his best friend is attacked, he and the gaang retreat after the Day of the Black Sun failure, he runs away to meditation in Sozin’s Comet when everyone wants him preparing for war. Aang’s reluctance to be a hero and the attachments and petulance for which he gets criticized are what metamorphasize to become his most noble attributes. They allow him to empathize with others shame and, ultimately, wield the kind of compassion that can deconstruct the power and perfectionism of imperialism.
So yes, Aang ran away from his temple 100 years ago. It wasn’t the mentally healthy choice. It wasn’t the ethical choice. It wasn’t the wise choice. It was human and emotional and shameful and real. Aang is a better character for it. ATLA is a better show because of it. And we are better people when we understand these kind of tragic emotional experiences that people are trying so hard to grow through.

Hello love, thank you so much for the compliment, it's very lovely.
Elegant & eloquent qualities in the chart
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🟫Earth energy or dominance it’s well known for this, I believe that it is due to the fact of associating someone composed, balanced and stable as someone with a lot of elegance, it is a connection that is often made.
🟤Taurus Rising. The personality and appearance of the natives with this Rising is blessed by Venusian qualities, making them not only physically attractive, but also people who naturally exude elegance and sophistication. They are people who are friendly in their first encounters, they are cordial and their manners give the impression of having a certain etiquette and knowing how to behave. In terms of their appearance, they can choose clothes that fall into the elegant and flattering sector for their figure, they know how to dress with colours that combine harmoniously, they can use accessories such as rings, necklaces or watches and, in general, they know how to create outfits according to the occasion.
🟤Virgo Rising or Venus. These people naturally give you vibes of being very proper and refined without even realising or intending it. Their elegance is natural and part of their essence as a person, they have manners and treat others in a friendly and welcoming way, although it can be somewhat subtle. Both placements make the native fit into the label of refined, since they are not difficult to deal with nor too ostentatious with their way of dressing and behaving. They can have a casual dress style while maintaining that good taste that defines them. They have that particular ability to choose clothes that they consider comfortable and that make them look good.
🟤Capricorn Rising or Venus. These people pay a lot of attention to the impression they want to give and this is often that of a person who is eloquent and admirable, an impression that they manage to give to many. They have a good sense of fashion and like to look expensive and good. Regarding their behaviour, they project a lot of maturity and stability, likewise they show a lot of confidence without bordering on egocentrism. They usually make good first impressions. Their aesthetics and way of dressing is associated with good taste, they pay attention to certain details of their image, which makes them very cautious and attentive in the eyes of others. They usually earn this reputation and image of someone distinguished.
🟤Taurus Moon or Venus. Both planets feel very good being in Taurus, on the one hand the Moon is exalted and Venus is at home. As far as the Moon is concerned, it is a significator par excellence of elegance, this is more noticeable in the behaviours of the native, since it gives them a very calm and appealing way of showing their innermost emotions and world since tantrums and erratic and impulsive behaviours. they don't usually look like something very elegant. For its part, Venus being well pleased makes the natives naturally express those qualities of elegance, attractiveness and sophistication that are usually attributed to it.
🟤Virgo Mercury. Since we are talking about well-positioned planets, it was best to mention Mercury in Virgo. Mercury rules the way we communicate and being in Virgo creates a native capable of communicating effectively, clearly and convincingly. These people stand out for having this facility to communicate and being effective when transmitting a message. They don't usually say much, but when they do they are sure and give others that confidence that what they are saying makes sense and is valuable information. Here we have a mastermind with multiple abilities and an intellect that makes them distinguished.
🟤Taurus Mercury. The way of communicating is mixed with the Venusian qualities of Taurus, making the native someone with whom it is pleasant to have a conversation because of such an appropriate and accurate way of communicating their points of view. They express themselves very properly, they are polite and they always try to maintain a dialogue that is understandable both for them and for the other party. Not only is their knowledge capable of surprising many, but that unique way of expressing themselves can surprise anyone.
🟤Capricorn Mercury. They tend to use specific and key words that make them sound more educated, more skilled and with much more knowledge. They think very well what they are going to say before saying it and, although it is not usually mentioned, they have those abilities to convince the rest with their well-structured arguments. They communicate calmly regardless of what they are saying, they can maintain their composure in all kinds of situations.
🟫Having a predominant Saturn energy can help give these characteristics both in personality and in physique or aesthetics. Saturn gives order, elegance and neatness. Aspects such as conjunction, trine or sextile show these traits strongly, but I have noticed that if there’s a square or opposition, the native may not be aware of it.
🟤Saturn aspecting Venus. These people have a rather elegant and sophisticated beauty, they are charming to interact with and many of the values they have are viewed positively by other people. They have that ability to create good impressions on people due to their mannerisms and charm that they are unaware of. Their loyalty, firmness, and commitment make them look dedicated in the eyes of others, and the way they relate to people and express themselves to them is seen as calm and delicate by others.
🟤Saturn aspecting Rising/ruler of the 1st house. Both options have a similar effect. The natives with Saturn-Rising influence are usually seen as very elegant people because of the way they behave and interact with their surroundings, even from a young age. They go around their surroundings with respect, propriety and caution, they are prudent and always try to maintain their composure no matter what is happening. They choose to wear garments that are in the sophisticated, simple and elegant sector, they are very selective with their garments.
🟤Saturn in the 3rd house or ruling the 3rd house. The Saturnian energy in the 3rd house presented in either of these two ways makes the native prudent and someone who, although tactful, does not lose track of what he wants to tell you. These people communicate clearly, are direct, and have the intellectual skills to communicate effectively, making them effective communicators, highly educated, and making them highly educated in the eyes of the people. They are very astute when it comes to socialising and can have a very vast vocabulary. Many people associate Saturn with limits and/or difficulties, and while this is true, Saturn also gives us clues as to what we can become masters of.
🟫In this section I will put aspects and placements that are not so mentioned but based on examples that I know, they have given me the impression of being so.
🟤Saturn and Venus in mutual reception. This is only possible if you have the Taurus/Libra Saturn + Capricorn/Aquarius Venus combo. Mutual reception indicates that both planets give a lot of strength to each other's qualities. Some of the meanings of this mutual reception is a more stable self-esteem, eloquence, elegance, economic stability regardless of the circumstances.
🟤Libra energy it’s usually a significator since it represents balance, harmony and also sophistication. It is a sign ruled by Venus which gives it these characteristics and above all a lot of charm.
🟤Ruler of the 3rd in the 6th house or vice versa. They relate effectively to people even if they border on the term introvert, they will always treat people well, they will be cooperative, attentive and rational. People see them as refined when it comes to communicating or interacting with others, especially in environments where a professional attitude is required. They’re efficient, very capable and usually stand out for some particular talent. They don’t jump to conclusions and always allow room for cordial dialogue.
🟤Ruler of the 10th in the 7th house or vice versa. This overlay causes the native to be perceived as a person with balance, a lot of social charm, manners, etiquette and as someone who can be very formal when required. They tend to have a good reputation and are known for being people who can connect charmingly with others. They stand out for their social skills and their coherence when acting.
🟤Libra signature [being Air dominant +  Cardinal dominant].
🟤Taurus signature [being Earth dominant + Fixed dominant].
🟤Capricorn signature [being Earth dominant + Cardinal dominant].
🟫Honourable mention to:Mars-Saturn aspects. Jupiter-Saturn aspects. 1st house ruler in the 7th house or vice versa. 3rd house ruler in the 10th house or vice versa. Moon in Virgo. Moon-Pluto trine or sextile. Moon - Venus - Saturn grand trine. Virgo signature [Earth dominant + Mutable dominant]. Stellium in the 2nd, 6th or 10th. Venus ruling the 3rd house. Venus ruling the 10th house.

Who is involved in screwing up the planet? You? Me? I don't think so. I would say the United States, DARPA and HAARP are most certainly involved. They just blame us. 👇
Was the true purpose of building the pyramids to prevent the cyclical cataclysmic event described in the ancient texts? From Antarctica and the South Pole to Alaska close to the North Pole… (speculation time)
It is a well-established fact in geophysics that the strength of Earth's magnetic field, now over 35% weaker than it was 300 years ago, is declining at an increasingly rapid pace. Electromagnetic energy is a fundamental component of the Earth's magnetic field.
The movement of charged particles, such as electrons, in the Earth's magnetic field creates electric currents, which in turn generate magnetic fields. This process is known as electromagnetism.
The Earth's magnetic field interacts with electromagnetic energy in various ways. For example, the magnetic field plays a crucial role in shielding the Earth from the solar wind, which consists of charged particles emitted by the Sun. These particles would be harmful to life on Earth and could potentially disrupt electrical systems if they reached the surface without the protection of the magnetic field.
Some are predicting that the next catastrophic event will involve the disruption of electricity power, primarily attributing it to a potential hacker attack. But this might happen due to the weaker magnetic field and the solar flares. The hacker attack might be the cover up.
According to the censored book by the CIA ‘The Adam And Eve Story The History Of Cataclysms’ this leads to reducing the Earth's inner MHD (Magnetohydrodynamics) energy to such a low level that the shallow molten layer, which begins at a depth of 60 miles and extends to 120 miles, is able to function as a free liquid lubricating layer between the Earth's crust and solid interior.
Eventually, this process leads to a sudden 90-degree flip(Polar flip), resulting in widespread chaos and all hell breaks loose leading to the massive floods.
Now how is this connected to the pyramids?
In 2018 scientists published a paper about ‘Electromagnetic properties of the Great Pyramid: First multipole resonances and energy concentration’ in the peer-reviewed scientific journal ‘Journal of Applied Physics’.
Researchers have proposed that the Great Pyramid possess electromagnetic resonance properties. This idea suggests that the pyramid's shape and composition interact with electromagnetic waves, potentially focusing or amplifying them. The geometry and structure of the Great Pyramid's influence how it interacts with electromagnetic waves. The pyramid's shape could cause scattering or diffraction of these waves, altering their behavior.
So, could it be that our advanced ancient ancestors built this technology to strengthen our magnetic field during periods of natural weakening, thus attempting to maintain a balance?
But technology can be used for both good and bad purposes, as we can see from its utilization in our militaries. Every new technology is initially employed for military purposes.
The biggest gatekeepers of the UAP/UFO phenomenon the US Navy, the US Air Force and DARPA have made a similar project in 1993 called HAARP. It is designed to investigate the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, which is a region of the Earth's upper atmosphere.
The radio waves used in HAARP are a form of electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic waves are a combination of electric and magnetic fields that propagate through space. They include a broad spectrum of waves, ranging from radio waves with low frequencies and long wavelengths to gamma rays with high frequencies and short wavelengths. HAARP operates in the high-frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
HAARP utilizes a high-power, high-frequency transmitter array to emit radio waves into the ionosphere. These radio waves interact with the ionized particles in the ionosphere, creating artificial auroras and modifying the ionospheric properties.
So, how did these three crucial agencies involved in the UAP phenomenon decided to recreate a project that potentially resembles the function of the pyramids?
But now it gets interesting because this same technology can influence the behavior of the population, it can make them aggressive and less aggressive.
Tom DeLonge, Linda Moulton Howe, and other UAP researchers have discussed an alleged giant underground pyramid in Alaska that is purportedly still 'activated' and is believed to impact human consciousness. But if there is a pyramid in Alaska close to the North Pole, there is a pyramid in Antarctica on the South Pole further more adding to this crazy theory…
So, how can this technology influence our consciousness? If we read the ancient texts the last days before the catastrophic event are described as being filled with corruption, love for money, arrogance, disobedience, lack of self-control, wickedness, theft, and murder, which ultimately lead to God's judgment.
Two scientists at Hahnemann Medical College conducted an experiment with two groups of mice. One group was placed in aluminum cylinders under a magnetic field similar to our Earth's, while the other group experienced a magnetic field similar to being halfway between Earth and the Moon.
Both groups had the same physical environment, including food, lighting, play area, and water supply. After three months, the mice in the low-density cylinders experienced the same effects: their protein structure broke down, and more than 35% of them developed visible cancers throughout their bodies. Internal cancers were not analyzed. Also, the mice turned criminal (cannibalism, aggressiveness and rape) in their low-density magnetic field environment.
This was the conclusion of Chan Thomas (the author of ‘Adam and Eve Story) for the behavior: Lowered magnetic field environment could give its occupants a sense of impending doom. Certainly, there would be a feeling that something out of control was destroying them, so why not get what they want irrespective of consequences? In the case of humans, those without empathy turn criminal first in the case of animals, it is probably proper to assume that there is little or no empathy there to start with.
So, apparently this technology can be used to manipulate human behavior, but it also has the potential to save the planet from mass extinction. So, what happened? Why did the event occur again? Did the technology fail, or did the ancient 'elite'—the ones flying the UFOs today—use it for a different purpose?
Remember the saying; "It's Not Nice to Fool With Mother Nature(Earth)" These people are playing God and they are horrible at it. Think about it. 🤔

The Monarch Butterfly
Arashi Narukami stands at the head of her kingdom. A kind and benevolent ruler, she appears before her people like a butterfly blessing the flowers. The veil of her mask obscures the bottom half of her face, but those who catch a glimpse through the butterfly’s wings are always met with a kind smile. Beautiful, but the sword at her hip peaks out from the covering of her cape, reminding others that although she is compassionate, she will not hesitate to strike down injustices. People say she’s more married to her sword than anything else, perhaps attributed to the fact that her gown inspires a look rather similar to a wedding dress.
concept credited to @chocodaffodil (masquerade)
himeru and madara
i didn’t really know the full story of the original post, so i kinda just went with my own concept for it :) but here’s arashi! she’s the one who took the most time (i did himeru and madara but they’ll be posted later on)
more rambles about the design down below
Tumblr media
all the references/concepts that i stared at while drawing arashi
I decided that for arashi i would go for a monarch butterfly theme. the orange of her mask is supposed to be gold but because it blended in too much with her hair and skin tone, i made it a more saturated tone. the piece at the top of the mask is a combination of butterfly antennae a crown, and the black veil is modeled after butterfly wings. i gave her longer hair in order to emanate the monarchy vibe, but she’s also kinda serving historia vibes. it’s held up by a hairclip in the shape of a butterfly.
the back of her cape is supposed to emulate folded butterfly wings (can you tell i really liked the monarch/butterfly idea?) with the inside being a patternless, darker color. the dress itself is rather flavorless, but it is supposed to be referenced off of the monarch dress. it almost looks like a wedding dress to me lol. since everything else is so detailed, i suppose the simple dress balances it all out.
the sword itself is modeled after the one she holds in her card, but with a violet and gold color palette. when her hand grabs the sword, the butterfly hangs over her knuckles.
and that is arashi!! i just sat down one day and decided to draw and then she popped out lol. she did take about 2 hours, but she deserves it <3

The Blue Lion’s Attribute
A commenter over on Ao3 asked after my thoughts on the Blue Lion’s key attribute and what qualities her paladin is supposed to possess, as we were never actually given a clear answer in canon, and I figured that the topic was one worth making a post about.
“As you have found, the lions choose their pilots. It is a mystical bond and cannot be forced. The quintessence of the pilot is mirrored in his lion. Together, they form something greater than science can explain. The Black Lion is the decisive head of Voltron. It will take a pilot who is a born leader and in control at all times, someone whose men will follow without hesitation. That is why, Shiro, you will pilot the Black Lion. The Green Lion has an inquisitive personality and needs a pilot of intellect and daring. Pidge, you will pilot the Green Lion. The Blue Lion– [Lance interrupts] The Yellow Lion is caring and kind. Its pilot is one who puts the needs of others above his own. His heart must be mighty. As the leg of Voltron, you will lift the team up and hold them together. The Red Lion is temperamental and the most difficult to master. It’s faster and more agile than the others, but also more unstable. Its pilot needs to be someone who relies more on instincts than skill alone. Keith, you will fly the Red Lion. [...] Once all the lions are united, you will form Voltron, the most powerful warrior ever known, the Defender of the Universe.
- Allura, Voltron: Legendary Defender, s01ep01
As was clearly laid out for us, the Black Lion seeks a born leader, someone decisive & disciplined that others can believe in; the Green Lion seeks a daring intellectual, someone inquisitive and curious; the Yellow Lion seeks an empathetic soul, someone who is kind & caring upon whom the others can fall back on when they’re struggling; and finally, the Red Lion seeks a fierce warrior, someone not only skilled but guided by instinct.
When previously asked what I would have named the Lions if in Alfor’s position, I spoke about the wu xing—the five elements of Chinese philosophy—as it has always been quite clear to me that it is from them that the Lions’ concept takes direct inspiration. To repeat now the brief summaries I gave then:
Black (metal / 金 jīn) - intuition, rationality, mind / grief, bravery
“Righteous, faithful, brave and gallant; a sharp intellect combined with a tendency for self-discipline can make them very successful. They like structure and tend to be organized and methodical.”
Green (wood / 木 mù) - idealism, spontaneity, curiosity / anger, kindness
“Competitive, adventurous, and determined, they seek out challenges and do well under pressure, but can become driven and stressed when out of balance.”
Yellow (earth / 土 tǔ) - agreeableness, honesty / anxiety, joy
“Nurturing, grounded, practical, and known for their reliability; though compassionate and empathetic, when out of balance they can become obsessive, intrusive, and worry unnecessarily.”
Red (fire / 火 huǒ) - passion, intensity / hate, resolve
“Energetic, passionate, and dramatic, they make great leaders but have a tendency to be emotionally volatile; when in balance they create intimacy and connection easily, but when out of balance they might become destructive and suffer from insomnia.”
Blue (water / 水 shuǐ) - erudition, resourcefulness, wit / fear, gentleness
“Determined, self-sufficient, and adaptable; they achieve their aims by determining the best path through a situation, but when out of balance they can be fearful, timid and indecisive.”
So as is presumably quite evident, Allura’s descriptions of the qualities that each Lion looks for in their paladin line up near-perfectly with the wu xing, meaning I feel secure in saying that the Blue Lion seeks emotional intelligence and adaptability, someone who is not only good-humoured, but capable of navigating tricky situations with grace and diplomacy.

Jeez. So much buzz about Color: Freedom. Do you think it might be a nice balance between self-reflection on gender norms and a lil spicy LGBTQ+ hint just to create some space for discussions and interpretations? Because gosh, people are shouting either THAT’S BAITING or HE’S BISEXUAL. Nothing in the middle 😌
I'll briefly talk about this because I'm saving a more detail analysis once I look into gender identity/sexuality/masculinity and Jimin.
You said something really important here which is the idea that the concept can create space for discussions and interpretations. Which is great. It should be like that. Except a debate on social media usually turns into something ugly because everyone thinks they know better, there is only one interpretation, the other camp is either projecting or dismissing. When in turn it shouldn't be like that. Unfortunately we are at a stage in which nuance is a notion long forgotten and rejected.
As to the subject at hand, well let me tell you. It's not that complicated if we remember this incredible thinking tool we have on our hands called semiotics. We all know about it, we all operate with it unconsciously even if we don't know the exact definition and its academic purposes. Because semiotics, to put it simply, is nothing but the study of signs and how they create meaning. The easiest and first example anyone gives is the one with the traffic lights. When it's red, we know we stop and if it's green, then it's good to go. The color green does not have in its core definition the meaning of being allowed to do something or able to continue, but it's a meaning that has been attributed to it due to social norms. Social norms that have to exist in a functional society. We attribute meanings to objects, signs and so on. We are in a constant process of decoding what we see around us and once we get familiar with a meaning that becomes unanimously acknowledged, the decoding process becomes instantenous. And why is it important to understand the purpose of semiotics? Because – and I found this really easy explanation somewhere – semiotics is a tool to ensure that intended meanings are unambigously understood by the person on the receiving end. That's why we all must know that a red at a traffic light means we need to stop and there is no room left for ambiguity. But, to nuance this discussion as well, cultural context is relevant here. A thumbs up can mean ok in most cultures, while in other situations it can have a different meaning. So we always need to keep in mind the bigger picture.
Now, why did I took this theoretical detour to answer your question? Because by using semiotics, it becomes much more easier in trying to decode and interpret the signs in the photoshoot. If a certain combination of colors are turned into a recognizable symbol for people part of a community, then the meaning of it is decoded based on that knowledge. To put it simply, it's fine and expected if some can interpret the colors in The Freedom photoshoot as being a symbol associated with bisexuality. At least. And then there are people who can come and say that they only thought the colors are pretty without thinking more about it. That means they didn't go through the process of decoding because they symbol is not universally acknowledged or is an essential part of every person's life, like the traffic light for example. But that doesn't mean that those who were able to decode it are just exaggerating or attributing some meaning to it that is supposedly non-existent.
The truth is, there were several ''symbols'' and markers throughout time until this photoshoot which add context that is adding to the possibility of looking at the photoshoot through the lens of self reflection on gender and sexual identity.
Tumblr media
But the issue that I see now (without having yet the time to fully explore it) is that people need verbal confirmation. They refuse to use their semiotic skills in order to interpret what they see. It's either they're not confident in their interpretation or they refuse the possibility of that interpretation to be real, so they want a verbalized message. Otherwise they call it queerbating. Which in that sense, it shows that they don't really care about the person they are supposedly interested in. It's more about their satisfaction and confirmation and not the actual real life. And that can be frustrating because people should be allowed to express their thoughts on their identity however they want. And just because others can do it loudly, it doesn't mean everyone can.
Then there's also the moral standpoint reason which is when fans say that it's wrong to look at the photoshoot through that lens because it's projection on part of LGBTQ+ fans, and sexuality shouldn't be assumed. In one way or another (or multiple) we as humans, assume. We look at someone and through our own life experience and the markers we are able to identify and decode based on our personal knowledge, we end up assuming someone's sexuality. It's just that assuming someone is straight is considered by fans more morally acceptable, while assuming any other sexual identity is wrong.
But this last aspect also needs to be nuanced. Our perceptions that lead to us assuming can be influenced by stereotypes. Stereotypes do have a base in reality, but they are also used to make negative judgments about people.
We also need to take into consideration cultural differences. Which is a double-edged sword. Fans can use this argument in order to better understand that an artist from an East Asian country does not automatically align himself with Western understandings of queerness and its symbols, but it also doesn't mean he's completely oblivious in this very globalized world that combines elements and knowledge from different parts of the world (I mean, all those Koreans at Seoul Pride must know what a rainbow flag means, as they do use it. You understand my point?). And then there is the other side who uses this argument in order to create this image of the artist who is ignorant because of its cultural background. Because if he's not from a queer-friendly Western country, then first of all, he is not gay and second of all, he doesn't have the knowledge of the superior Western thinking. That's an orientalist point of view (which is harmful, in case it's not obvious).
Tumblr media
The conclusion to all this is yes, there needs to be space for interpretation because we have the tools to do it. But we also have to be willing to do it. And not everyone wants to go there. Either they choose to be ignorant, or they don't have the appropriate knowledge and they don't want to learn, or it makes them uncomfortable. Fans like to to speak in the name of the artist they like so often, but they also fail in listening and paying attention when that artist tries to express himself the way he wants.
This is a very long discussion and quite a complicated one because it's a huge topic in the fandom. And I'm not referring only to this photo-folio, but the way fans see Jimin is something to be studied. I think it's hard for them to wrap their head around who this man is and what he tries to say. He's obvious and ambiguous at the same time, which is hard to stomach for those who need everything to be very clear and delivered in a digestible way.

book review
Tumblr media
4 Stars ****
This book was good, taking on a whole lot of different topics and managing to balance them all rather well.
Our protagonist, Eliza, is not exactly likeable, and she definitely has some disagreeable characteristics. I'd say she isn't the typical YA protagonist any more. She actually resembles the protagonist of ye olde YA titles in that she is a huge Pick-Me Girl (aka a "I'm Not Like Other Girls girl). She is also often cold, kind of mean and prickly. While she has a lot of growing to do (a process that she begins to under go through the story) her personality isn't irredeemable, and as the story progresses, she really rather grew on me. The author also tells us readers within the first page or so (in a meta sort of way) that this is exactly the kind of character we are going to get when Eliza talks about a book she is reading: "I flop onto my bed with a book, an Eileen Chang novel I found by chance at the library. I like it because the main character is a Chinese girl who's smart but a bit prickly, which is a combination the world could really use more of." And boy does Quach deliver on that.
Characters do not have to be likeable, and they don't need to be anymore likeable by the end of the story either. That's not a real rule. And yet, despite that truth, Eliza, does undergo character growth and begins to unlearn some of her less positive attributes and opinions. The thing is, this character growth is not heavy handed or spelled out explicitly for the reader. Through the events of the book and the other characters that Eliza interacts with she does begin to unlearn some of her 'not-like-other-girls' beliefs.
This story juggles many feminist topics throughout, managing to introduce them to readers and then also show how complicated they can be when applied to real life. It felt like Quach was spinning dozens of different plates and successfully managed to keep each of them spinning throughout. I have read through several reviews and I know that other people disagree with me here, but I think that's because Quach is not necessarily explicit in her messaging. She doesn't spell out each lesson or takeaway. Instead lots of things are introduced and then unpacked and also complicated. All the facets of being a girl and a woman as well as how they have to navigate their womanhood are examined through numerous characters. And further how each girl in the book also begins to figure out how feminism fits in with their everyday life in even when sometimes working with the patriarchy can lead to desired results. Much of the feminist topics Quach lays out in this book aren't wrapped up neatly and that is because readers are meant to take those topics with them and continue to unpack them in their own lives.
The only thing I didn't like is actually the blurb of the book because it's kind of misleading. The opening tagline of the blurb says: "Emergency Contact meets Moxie in this cheeky and searing novel that unpacks just how complicated new love can get…when you fall for your enemy". And I think the whole blurb paints this as more of a romance book when it's really not. There is technically a romance plot in the story but it never struck me as being part of the story to make me feel swoony or anything. To me, at least, the romance is a tool that Quach uses to further examine some feminist topics such as slut shaming. And nothing more than that. If you go into this book expecting a cute romance, I suspect that you will definitely be disappointed.
I highly recommend this book for it's thorough and open-ended exploration of practical feminist topics and it's fascinating protagonist. I also think it would be an excellent book club pick as there is so much to discuss and unpack.

WHY ZERO? WHY ZERO BALANCING?
“Zero is where the real fun starts.  There’s too much counting everywhere else!” - Hafiz
Like all of Hafiz poetry, this is more than  witty.
Well it would be funny too, like in a Seinfeld show, in which it is said nothing happens, to have a bodywork which is essentially about nothing and makes no claims and in which in some ways nothing happens.
Well…How about these considerations?
The positive effects of Zero Balancing take place while you, the therapist, do nothing – you go to “zero”.  Once you the therapist create the “fulcrum” – usually by pressing in with gently curved fingers until finding tension held in or on bone – you then pause and do nothing. It is important that you do nothing, so that the client’s awareness is free to go deep inside and to let go from inside out. So, when you do nothing, you provide the best opportunity for the client to take the lead in their own letting-go process.
Many of the bones we work with have a cavity inside, the medullary cavity, which is like an extended O within the cylindrical long bone or an open space like in the pelvic “bowl.”  This is like the space inside the flute, the emptiness inside a bowl, this big extended zero in the bone. The openness inside is what allows the flute to make music, the bowl’s empty space to contain fluid or other nourishing substance.  So we touch, with stillness, areas in the person that allow for vibration, flow, and for the person to feel filled with nourishing energy.
Since the client’s inner work happens while the therapist does nothing, the therapist themselves gets to experience sustained moments of doing nothing – the definition often given to Zen – “wu wei” – non-action.  Doing nothing it turns out is of great benefit to the therapist as well as the client because 1) the therapist then repeatedly enters a state of meditation, which is inherently healthy; 2) the client learns how much value there is in doing nothing, just in being. We are, as they say, human beings, not just human doings.
All this can be seen as relating to the state known in Indian philosophy as “Shunyata” – most often translated as emptiness. “The Pāli Canon uses the term śūnyatā ("emptiness") in three ways: "(1) as a meditative dwelling, (2) as an attribute of objects, and (3) as a type of awareness-release." I am naturally intrigued by the term “meditative dwelling” in the light of my upcoming book which uses a similar term, “Memory Palace,” in its title.
Every Zero Balancing gives the therapist and the client a context for “meditative dwelling.” When we let go of effort, we are letting go of identification with the doing self, with ego, and we get to savor the healing moments of dwelling in a meditative state. I’ve heard that Thich Nhat Hanh said, “the body is not only a temple; it is also the sage in the temple.”
In ZB we can see every bone in our body is a “meditative dwelling,” every bone an energetic and structural member of the memory palace, the sacred temple that is the evolved human body and mind. The structure and energy of the evolved skeletal system is something you have inherited that embodies the wisdom, the solutions of countless ancestors in the biological and existential world. When we experience what a sacred gift our life is – that’s when healing is most possible.
Then we see we are just a container, a big zero that is filled with the ancestral chi flowing through us. That conveys some of the excitement and inspiration in what we call and do in Zero Balancing.
******************************************************
We have four Zero Balancing courses now enrolling at our school – combined in our path-breaking Intensive Certification Process beginning May 4.

Any advice on drawing Petunia? She’s had so many different designs, it’s hard for me to settle on one (and find enough good references for said design, since it’s usually in like 3 shorts before getting changed). Plus, it’s hard to not make her look like Porky in drag.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS it's always fun providing a method to my madness! Petunia isn't one i draw Ever but i've at least doodled her enough to provide some insight. SO.
i drew this doodle last year to figure out what was a good combo of designs--she does just look like my Porky in drag here, BUT i like to find a good balance between both designs. there are a few publicity stills from the late '30s that already combine the two, and i used that as a heavy reference; i actually REALLY like her first design and wanted to try and maintain that somewhat snappiness while still making her cute. kept the hair, combined her first and current outfit, kept the makeup but not to a distracting degree
Tumblr media
as for how to hunt for differentiating features... Porky is one of my favorites to draw because i feel like he gives a LOT of room for experimentation. there are 80 million snout, ear, tail, hoof and head shapes you can give him, lotsa wardrobe choices (i always add lapels and, when i need color, stripes to his jacket--the lapels come from a model sheet for Porky's Pooch, the stripes from one of the Dell comic book covers). NEEDLESS TO SAY, with that availability, it's fun to pass that onto Other Warner Pigs.
this was a screencap redraw i did last year with Porky and Cicero, and Cicero literally just is Porky But Mini in the comics (and now shorts), so i tried to pull together some different Porky design attributes i don't necessarily use for Porky and impart them on him
Tumblr media
SO. that leads us to Porky and Petunia now. this is purely for how i draw them--my Porky style is literally just an amalgamation of all my favorite aspects of his design from varying directors and animators (John Carey and Bill Melendez--as well as a little Rod Scribner--are by far my biggest influences)
i used to draw Porky with a very round, even face particularly inspired by the more even, geometric proportions of the mid-late '30s, but have slowly settled into the early-mid '40s proportions of more tapered, uneven proportions. i gave Petunia a lot of aspects that used to be in how i'd draw Porky--he's gotten a lot more boyish and impish, which is what i wanted; something energetic but still cute and reserved.
i really disagree with the design philosophy of "draw men STRONG and with SHARP LINES draw women CURVY and SOFT", but given how i've continuously drawn Porky a little sharper in certain features, it is nice to have a rebuttal with Petunia's design. you absolutely do not have to do this--i just like contrast, so your contrasting features may be different than mine (maybe you draw Porky soft and Petunia more sharp)
Tumblr media
EITHER WAY. at the end of the day, there's no right or wrong way to draw her or anyone. it's all down to preference, and everyone's styles and preferences vary. experiment and have fun!!
(and if it helps, Porky in Petunia drag is already a thing so you're not alone)

Hi Smokey! 💕
What do you think of pistol swords?
I know they were like, super inconvinient since they were a bit to heavy for a pistol and a bit off balance for a sword, but they look really cool I think!
Oooh they're super cool! To my knowledge there's not a ton of documented sources for use of them in actual combat of any kind, even self defense. There are a lot of logistical problems to get around, as with most combination weapons. I'll go into more detail under the cut!
Let's start by saying that the only notable combination weapons I can think of that mix a melee weapon with a firearm is the bayonet. Basically you could turn any rifle into a heavy spear to great effect! This works for a number of obvious reasons but it also combines a primary armament with a secondary to form a different primary armament. I only mention this because the pistol sword combo is effectively combining two sidearms. They're both "back up" weapons essentially which have little to gain from being combined.
During the time where a pistols of this type were used, if you were in a situation where you needed a sword or a pistol you would simply put the pistol in your off-hand and fire when you needed to. Sword and pistol is a pretty good combo in a close to mid range combat scenario. Btw I'm assuming you meant like, a flintlock pistol and a sword combo not like a fantasy gunblade or something so that's what I'm going with.
Anyway in scenarios where you don't have a "primary" armament, and you've got a sword and pistol, you're either a military officer or you're not on a battlefield or both. So you're likely not going to need too many follow up shots if any. Having a sword with a pistol built in would potentially give you the advantage of having either a free hand to use a shield or have an open off hand or even just use another regular pistol. But you have to consider the logistics of keeping the pistol on your sword maintained and loaded, which would be a massive pain considering you have a sword attached to it! That, and keeping it safe while holstered/sheathed presents the issue of needing even further specialized equipment.
The accuracy of the pistol portion is going to be severely limited by the barrel length and also that it's attached to a sword, and if it's improperly made it poses a not insignificant threat to the integrity of the weapon but also to the user. If you sacrifice a proper sword grip to have better aim with the pistol, you lose some qualities of the sword. If you sacrifice the aim for a normal handling sword, you lose the accuracy of the pistol. In general when combining two things you want to make sure there's a reason to do so and that your combination offers something that's worth the exchange of potentially having one thing that does two things poorly or having two separate things that both do their job adequately.
The accuracy isn't as big a deal bc in general you're dealing with short to mid range targets if you're already committed to having your sword out, but that also poses the question of wouldn't it just be easier to have a pistol separately in the case of needing to engage targets at a longer distance? The whole point of a pistol is that it's small. I.E. not a long arm. Whereas the size of a sword of any type generally exceeds the length of a pistol.
I'm not entirely sure that historically they had any real purpose. There are a lot of instances of things of this nature being made so that rich people can have fancy interesting things, or so that someone who makes stuff can show off how skilled they are at making stuff. Or to sell to folks who want something neat. Our modern eyes tend to attribute every instance of these things as having a practical tangible purpose, despite that not always being the case. For a modern example, whisky stones especially fancy fun shaped ones have a limited use. The whole point is to chill a beverage without diluting it, but anything you add ice to is intended to be diluted before its consumed usually. Whisky tasters often add water to taste it. So what's the point of the stones? So you can show them off! Same as a pistol sword. You can show people how cool you are.
There are also instances of dinnerware with pistols attached. Steak knives and other eating knives. Allegedly in case of powerful political people needing a pistol to defend themselves while eating a fancy dinner. But that's... dubious at best and easily solved by just wearing your pistol to the table. So what's the deal? I'm not sure! But they're cool! And I like them!
Side thing to note, if you did need multiple shots for whatever reason, reloading a sword gun would SUCK. And you can always just wear two pistols or a brace of several pistols!
Another side note, arming any significant number of people with these would very quickly become expensive and impractical. Not to mention replacement parts would be harder to make and replace by virtue of being built into the sword. If you have an issue with the pistol barrel, you'd first have to remove it from the sword without ruining the sword itself.
Edit: although if you're in a fight it would be very surprising for the other person to learn that you shot him with your sword. Definitely gonna catch some folks off guard so to speak

TREATMENT, TREATMENT, TREATMENT
That is the only thing that was running through my mind on our way to the Hospital. Not counting the countless times the lectures have engraved it in our minds. Now that I think about it as the week comes to an end, I actually WANT to do it for the rest of my life.
Before fieldwork, it seemed to be 70% theory and 30% practicals but now I see it more of the other way around. Even theory comes from practicals(research).
Even though my supervisor had to remind me countless times that we are not assessing but treating, I have to say this is by far the best fieldwork I have been on. It was quite confusing always assessing and not knowing why or how this will help me help the client. It was exciting seeing the dots connecting and seeing the bigger picture that actually makes sense.
My first client had a spinal cord injury, level C5/C6, and in the great words of our former module coordinator Dineo Thupae I had to, ' Open that drawer' of learning that I thought I would probably never use, or so did, I think. One of the first questions we were asked was, what does your diagnosis affect and after the first, "Ohhh" a couple followed. We all left the OT department with bright light bulbs on top of our heads.
I assessed sensation, muscle strength, range of motion, and ADLs to name a few, but the real challenge was assessing the client factors that did not have specific forms that fit their diagnosis like balance as I could not use the Trunk impairment scale nor the Bergs Balance scale as one was for hemiplegia and the other had requirements my client could not meet. Now clinical reasoning had to come in. My favourite question to assist my self was, ‘What was my client’s highest level of function and how can I improve or compensate for maximum independence?’.
I saw my client's enthusiasm for OT as he is always in the department even when he did not have sessions, So I decided to channel that into participation. For our first session we did a leisure session, played a game to address a few client factors but also breaking the ice between the client and therapist so that intervention can be as therapeutic as possible. The following session was a dressing activity, and I’m still in the grey area on whether it went well on not, this is definitely going to keep me up at night.
I truly believe me, and my colleagues secretly share the same sentiment that we have the best supervisor in this block. Even though I’m dragging myself to prac, I find myself with an urge to want to ask more questions even when I have none. My “take-away” for this week was when Yolanda said, ‘Always question yourself as to why you are doing what you are doing’ and I guess that is why my writes ups are full of whys, which I intend on answering. The positive criticism from our supervisor and the OT combined will influence my clinical reasoning not only for this block but going forward, after all Yolanda said,’ We are here to learn guys, don’t panic’.
As masters of occupation, nothing is more encouraging than seeing a client attribute their progression to OT and regaining their independence. It takes 10 000 hours to master a skill and I can’t wait to produce my 10 001 hours, but this is where I start, https://learn2023.ukzn.ac.za/my/index.php

Axing difficult questions
The Scotsman’s Skullcutter, affectionately known as the Scotsman’s Skullcritter, is an all-around solid melee weapon for the Demoman.
Scotsman’s Skullcutter (+) +50% melee range (+) +20% damage (-) 75% longer deploy and holster (-) While active: -15% move speed
Wait, that’s it? I even split the “this weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower” into two attributes to make it look more complex. That’s it? That’s not very interesting. Let’s adjust it.
The Skullcutter has a few things going for it right now. The first is the satisfaction of its high damage, particularly when combined with its chance for random crits and its long range. The other is that it works relatively well no matter what your loadout is; while it’s arguably a little better with a shield, none of its attributes are dependent on your other weapons. As the Skullcutter is moderately popular already, we’ll want to keep those benefits while also making it a little more distinctive.
Scotsman’s Skullcutter Iteration 2 (+) On kill: Gain a crit boost for 5 seconds (+) +20% damage (+) +50% melee range (-) -34% healing from all sources while active (-) -25% fire rate
Here, I tried to combine the popular attributes of the base Skullcutter with a potential for even more crits. Like the Killing Gloves of Boxing, you can use the crit boost with your primary and secondary weapons, giving it a lot of varied utility. Remember also that critical stickybombs will remain on the field, making this potentially very powerful!
I’m pretty happy with this iteration, even if it might need some balancing. But it’s pretty similar to the aforementioned KGB, so why don’t we try a different tack?
Scotsman’s Skullcutter Iteration 3 (+) While active and below half health: Deal 100% critical hits (+) +20% damage (+/-) This weapon has a 50% longer melee range, but deploys and holsters 75% slower (-) -90% healing from Medics while active (-) -15% movement speed while active (-) On miss: Hit yourself [50% damage, no extra damage from crits]
It’s crit time! Despite the joys of guaranteed critical hits, this version seems a bit less flexible than the first one we designed. The ability to hit yourself lets you boost your jumps and modulate your own health, which is nice, but you don’t have the all-around utility of a crit boost. That’s not to say that this weapon doesn’t have fun, creative utilities, though - even if hitting yourself can be a little frustrating at times.
Which of the two versions would you prefer? I must admit I like the first one more, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you would like to play with the second!

Why I Chose These Five Pieces For My Portfolio
Medium as a Message: I included this piece since it demonstrates my analytical approach to writing. However, with the addition of my mind map I was able to incorporate a creative aspect to this piece and share some of my own personal strategies to planning.  This was one of my favourite projects from the Kritik assignments. I’m currently taking a course on Management Information Systems, and I felt like this piece helped me combine my knowledge of information systems with my writing abilities.  I also enjoyed displaying my mind map and I believe it would be a helpful tool for organizations to brainstorm new ideas and strategies.
Crafting a Pitch: This piece helps demonstrate my strong ethics.  Within this piece, I made an appeal to ethos and I argued that AI art is unethical, since it steals from artists.  AI art is a hot topic lately: many people see it as a great new tool for creativity without realizing that the pool AI draws from is made up of actual art from artists who do not know their work is being used.  I wanted to make a statement about AI art since, as an artist, it’s something I feel strongly about.  I didn’t realize how many people don’t know that AI steals art; within my peer evaluations, one peer actually said that they weren’t even aware of the ethical issues surrounding AI.
Storytelling Round II: I wanted to include this recent piece since I feel it helps me incorporate a personal example through storytelling.  My message was to treat people, employees included, with kindness.  At the time that this event happened, I was quite upset, and didn’t want to continue working if people were going to be rude.  It’s important to consider that the actions we take and the words we say can significantly harm others; thus, I try to be kind and approach others with an open mind.
Storytelling With Structure: I included this piece within my portfolio because it demonstrates how easy it is to address rumours and controversial topics if you are honest and straightforward with your audience.  Honesty is an important attribute in my family, and I believe that companies should be honest with their employees as well.  Even if the company in my piece was going under, it would be the best course of action (in my opinion) to be honest and let their employees know the company status.  I also hope that this piece can serve as an example of the difficult balance between honesty and politeness.
Crafting an Authentic Speech: This is my favourite piece from all of the Kritik writing projects.  I was able to talk about something I’m very passionate about and I really enjoyed writing about Cinnamon.  From all my writing, I would say that this piece incorporates the most of my own voice.  I often find writing in my own voice quite difficult, so I was glad to speak freely within this piece.  Additionally, I used the feedback I received and changed a bit of my opening paragraph: I hope this change was able to hook the reader and help them to feel passionate about Cinnamon too.

📝[INTERVIEW] VIXX returns after 4 years with exciting mini album and talks about visiting Brazil @koreain | @revistakoreain
VIXX , one of the darlings of the very talented 3rd generation of K-pop formed by Jellyfish Entertainment and which counts N , LEO , KEN , and HYUK as members, brightened Starlights ' end of the year even more by making their long-awaited return after 4 years old.
The comeback came through the mini album CONTINUUM, which contains five tracks — and mostly compositions and productions by the group's own members. KoreaIN had the pleasure of speaking with LEO , KEN and HYUK about this newest work that seeks to demonstrate VIXX's love for their fans.
KoreaIN: Hello VIXX, it's a pleasure to have the opportunity to do this interview. Firstly, congratulations on the success of your newest mini album CONTINUUM . Could you tell us a little about the process that led to the final product?
LEO: CONTINUUM is about VIXX's unique perspective and the members' story as they participated in the production of the album. I think that having participated in all stages of production, starting with the lyrics and compositions, was to communicate the path VIXX has taken, the growth we have achieved and the infinite possibilities that lie ahead when it comes to our fans. .  KEN: It's been 4 years since we released a new album for our Starlights, so I think we've worked really hard on it. We prepared a lot, as there are songs and lyrics composed by our members, and even if we didn't compose them, we provided significant contributions to the composers; aiming to create an album that meets the expectations of our fans.  HYUK: I even participated in the MV as Creative Director. I created a more cinematic worldview and story so that our members could showcase their acting skills that they had achieved through musicals and other individual activities.
KoreaIN: Still talking about your new mini album as a whole, if you could describe it in just one word, what would you choose?
LEO: I choose “Beginning”. KEN: I would like to call it “Memory” because I want to remember every moment from preparing for this album until now!  HYUK: I think the title of this album, “CONTINUUM”, is a word that really shows the relationship between VIXX and our fans.
KoreaIN: CONTINUUM talks a lot about continuity and your journey as a group so far. So I would like to ask, if you could give one piece of advice to your younger self who just debuted, what would it be?
LEO: “You’re doing great, keep working hard.” KEN: “KEN! Help me fill my 20s, 30s and 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and my whole life with VIXX, okay?” That's what I'd like to say! HYUK: “I know you will work hard, so I would like you to look around a little more, enjoy yourself and grow to be more mature.” That's what I would like to advise myself.
KoreaIN: This new concept combines your individual attributes with your attributes as a group. Could you talk about the strengths of VIXX as a group and the individual qualities of each member?
LEO: The strength of VIXX is that we have a unique identity and the members have a great balance of expanding our capabilities through solo activities.   KEN: My strengths as VIXX are… countless! We are cool, sexy, cute, friendly and funny. Plus, all the members are talented! They are intelligent and excellent at everything from singing to dancing! HYUK: As a genre, VIXX has already managed to showcase our unique vibe and energy, vocals, performances and visuals. And if you take the qualities of each member, LEO has an overwhelming charismatic presence and energy on stage, and KEN seems to have a vocal tone and power that no one can imitate.
KoreaIN: Continuing on about you as a group, VIXX is well known for always presenting unusual visuals and stories through various concepts. What has been your favorite concept out of the ones you've done so far? And would there be any concept that you haven't done yet and would particularly like to explore?
LEO: I want to choose “Fantasy” or “Chained Up.” If there's a concept I want to try in the future... We tried so many different concepts that I don't know what's left (laugh). However, I believe that members will be able to do well in any concept. KEN: Personally, my favorite was when we promoted “Scentist”! I really liked it, because our precious memories of the time are aplenty in the music and the concept of “Scentist.” And if there’s a new concept [you’d like to try]… Something even more unrealistic! I think it would be cool to try something a little fantastic!   HYUK: What I liked most was when we were promoting “Voodoo Doll.” We have good memories of our first win and I like the line “It's all going to get real” from “Voodoo Doll”, because it represents VIXX very well.
KoreaIN: We noticed that the members participated in writing the lyrics for this mini album. How do you feel participating in the production of your songs (including personal feelings and as a group)?
LEO: It was really cool to be able to include VIXX's true feelings on this album. There were many difficult moments during production, but also a lot of fun and happy moments. We finally managed to meet our fans again with several new songs after a long time, so I think VIXX made a great effort to communicate our true feelings through the album.   KEN: To be honest, I feel kind of disappointed that compared to LEO and HYUK, I wasn't able to contribute as much to the production of the album. I also felt bad for the rest of the members. However, I was very proud, because I was able to go deeper and share my opinions with everyone who helped us maintain the musicality and identity that VIXX wanted on this album .  HYUK: It was great to be able to clarify the theme and message we would like to convey while participating in the production of our song. More particularly, we know the story of each member's journey and the journey we have been following as a group, so I believe we can bring the colors of VIXX by participating in it ourselves.
KoreaIN: Now, talking about Brazil, you have visited the country a few times. How was the experience? Furthermore, could you imagine receiving so much love from a place on the other side of the world?
HYUK: We were one of the first K-pop artists to visit Brazil, so we didn't realize how much love we would receive until we visited. Thank goodness so many people loved us and loved K-pop so much that we were surprised. Furthermore, we remember how our fans in Brazil and South America showed their passion through vibrant animation and shared their love for music, in turn revitalizing us with contagious energy.
KoreaIN: Still talking about your Brazilian fans, among the 5 songs on CONTINUUM , which one do you think will be especially impressive for the Brazilian Starlights?
LEO: We were extensively involved in the album and tried our best to capture the essence of VIXX through it, so I think they managed to find a different quality and side of VIXX in each song. If I have to choose one song, I think our fans will be most impressed with “If You Come Tonight” as it genuinely communicates the story I want to share with Starlights.
KoreaIN: Before we finish, CONTINUUM is above all an album that showcases VIXX's love for STARLIGHTS. Could you please send a special message to the fans who have been waiting and rooting for you?
VIXX: STARLIGHT, hello, we are VIXX! Thank you so much for supporting us endlessly until we came back with our mini album CONTINUUM! As we knew that you have been waiting for our comeback for so long, we worked hard to show you the VIXX you missed and the VIXX that got better through new songs and promotions. Please give us lots of love and interest during these promotions and we hope we can meet in person and have an amazing experience together soon! Thanks!
