Current roll call for all the Brainrot AU characters I've finished drawing so far. I believe I've posted all of them individually, but I think sharing this will give people a little better of an idea of character heights and whatnot.

"you can really go into shapes with older charakters i think hahah
more story to tell. did they have lots to laugh or lots to glare? "
Oooo... if you don't mind, can you go more into that? Like, what are your drawing techniques and stuff? What do you notice about there being more shapes in older people?
anon i have to confess here... like i really truly wanted to draw an example and like show my point. but my brain is not capable to draw tutorial in a way that makes sense... (currently my brain is not doing what i want because it creates unecessary rules for me.... )
and before this ask gets entirely lost in time (and my ask box)
here a reply in written form. (my apologies)
what i meant is when you draw older characters you are less hesitant to smooth things out. you don't need anymore round friendly and childish shapes. you can go more angular and bold. chins, bows, noses, eyes, in case of men facial hair. tell a bit of their story and life on their face. you emphasize unique feautres more
i personally think that drawing an elderly character and then de-aging them creates more interesting face forms for kids, exept the standard i grew used to and in a way is ingrained in me.
just a personal observation or thought here....
