Tic, tac. What’s happening? Another summer is coming to an end. When, why, how? I feel time stepping in my shoes, crippling up my back but I never see it pass it never ever looks me in the eye never accepts my curiosity and desperation to accept and admit its right there, always around crossing through and too close to me. I never understood how years end. Why does it not grant me with its weight and presence? Too thin and too liquified maybe so much that if I try to catch it it just colds my hands and wets my hair and sucks the air out of my lungs and makes blood thud in my skull and and and

I don’t notice it until it’s gone. Then I think I don’t have enough time to enjoy and read and learn and play and be and it’s harder to breathe and I want to do so many things I end up doing nothing at all. I feel burned and frozen in place and time but time is never still so the fire grows higher and harsher and the ice shatters and slices my heart and face and arms and it’s suffocating and I can’t move. And I want to.

I wish I could stop it.

I crave peace and quiet without the dreadful feeling of not doing enough and not doing it before it’s too late.

Summer is coming to an end

but we will continue

even though the days are colder 

we still sit outside and wonder

when will the rain start pouring down?

Summer is ending 

but the weather is still warm

when we meet outside

all we can think of is the sun in our face.

Autumn is coming

the leaves are losing their green 

but now I’m met with a blizard of colours

when I’m walking through the forest.

Autumn has arrived 

the smell of cinamon and apple pie is in the air

the sun still shines

but now it’s acompanied by a cool wind.

The leaves are falling in the rain

I sit by the window and watch

as the mug next to me steams

with a book in hand and music far away

I enjoy the autumn rain and wait

for seasons to change again.
