Some Taneko Headcanons for White Day.

Keiwa Side

Keiwa has had people use Valentine's Day to confess their love to him. It often made him feel bad to reject them, but, as his sister puts it, its better that he rejected them instead of going out on dates with them when he just does so out of obligation not out of love.

Sara had vehemently rejected his plan of giving every person who gave him chocolates on Valentine's Day, a chocolate on White Day.

He had reasoned out that it was like the friendship chocos that the girls would give their male friends.

Even still, his suggestion met with a resounding no to the point that Sara had to confiscate all of the chocolate he had bought for white day and store it in the house.

This got him the reputation of "dateless" or the title "dateless Keiwa" but of how dejected he often goes to school during white day, which made everyone assume things.

And there you have it, the origins of the "my brother cannot find date" statement that Sara implied when he reported her brother missing. The ironic thing was that she was the cause of such a reputation.

Keiwa didn't mind the title as it was true, he was dateless, but he had to admit that the label stung him a bit, which he just shrugged off.

The label originated from some friends of the people who had confessed to him on Valentine's Day, believing him to be cruel for rejecting the proposal but still accepting the chocolates given to him.

Sooner, Keiwa became part of a dance troupe, and he wasn't really seen in school all that much.

Fast forward to now, Keiwa got panicky when March 7 rolled around. This was the first time he was going to give chocolate to someone he really loved instead of the casual way he had planned all those years ago.

He had consulted his sister, some female friends in the dance troupe, heck he even bit the bullet and asked Tsumuri for advice.

And no, he won't ever, ever, ask Ace for an advice, he'd only get teased.

The surprising bit of advice came from Michinaga.

"Tch, just be yourself, Na-go's already liked you, no need to make a spectacle out of it."

Keiwa was stunned at the advice, he didn't think Michinaga would just give out advice like that.

Neon Side

Neon was giddy with excitement when 12:00 MN March 14 rolled around. She was excited about what kind of chocolate she would receive from Keiwa.

To be fair to her, she was cautioned by Sae not to expect too much as some men would forget about White Day at all.

But Neon couldn't help herself, last Valentine's was her first time giving someone, anyone, homemade chocolates that she asked Sae to teach her to make one.

She was going to admit that she had a lot of unrealistic expectations as March 14 approached.

But she also knew that there was a possibility that Keiwa would just forget, as Sae warned her so she tried to calm her expectations.

Not before long, she was able to sleep.

The day went about normally, but suddenly Keiwa stopped in front of her, dressed casually like it was just any other day.

Keiwa might have forgotten what today was.

She forced her disappointment down and attempted to enjoy her day with her boyfriend.

Not before long, her disappointment was forgotten as she was approached by a lot of people and some had even asked her to teach them about some of the dance steps she uses on her page.

Keiwa volunteered to be one of the teachers alongside Neon, citing how his sister forced him to learn the dance with her.

Soon night time rolled around as the people who approached her earlier in the day soon left feeling satisfied.

The actual giving.

"I hope you didn't think I forgot about today."

Neon was greeted with a thin box wrapped in black and yellow with a green ribbon.

"B-but how?"

"I had nee-chan bring it here not that long ago. I didn't want the chocolate I made to melt during the day."

But, but...

"I figured a leisurely stroll that turned into an impromptu dance lesson was right up your alley instead of having date at a fancy restaurant.

"Oh Keiwa!"

Neon jumped into Keiwa's arms and kissed him, in public.

"So how'd you like my leisurely stroll as a gift?"

"I enjoyed it" Neon smiled. "Better than what I expected."

The next day...

Neon's kiss of Keiwa's lips went viral.

Geats (Taneko) Headcanons.

Since I’m back to posting about Kamen Rider Geats, let me share some Geats headcanons.

Michinaga thinks Keiwa is cute because it was still his dream and his dream conjured up Neon, with Tsumuri agreeing, shouting that Keiwa is cute.

Ace dressed Keiwa in a new set of clothes with his creation powers., from his Dezashin clothes to the one he wore in 46, even styled his hair back to its old hairstyle.

Keiwa apologized to Tsumuri soon after he got his sister back.

Sara reprimanded Keiwa for what he did for her sake.

She feels flattered but she would have preferred if her brother didn’t do what he did that, but what’s done is done.

Thankfully no sister slap happened.

Keiwa can come and go to the god chamber, so to speak, anytime he wants. He’s been transported there with Ace and he was able to get out. He could go back in whenever he wants.

Three more people were let out from the Tree of Knowledge, forcing everyone to scramble into action, with Keiwa rushing to the streets and called emergency services.

Win, as his grandfather’s representative, managed to declare Kousei innocent by lying through his teeth and saying his and Neon’s lives were in danger if anyone knew about the Desire Grand Prix, and not one from any company were responsible for the Jamato parasites.

Now for some Taneko Headcanons. I hope @narashikari and @askrikkaiandhyotei​ will love this XD (sorry, a bit canon compliant)

After the sibling hug, Neon immediately threw Keiwa aside and hugged Sara on her own.

Michinaga: Oi, Tycoon, shouldn’t you be calling an ambulance.

Keiwa: I was planning on doing that as soon as we were on the streets.

Suddenly three more people came out of the tree.

Keiwa immediately rushed to the streets, carrying his sister in a princess carry before calling emergency services.

Kurama Kosei was back in Jail and Irumi’s wound was healed due to Ace’s, Keiwa’s, and Tsumuri’s wishes coalescing together.

Irumi recevied a call from her daughter that she was in a hospital, prompting her to rush there only to sigh in relief upon knowing her daughter wasn’t in any life threatening situation.

She offered to pay for the hospital bills for Sara, as thanks for looking after her daughter when she was stubborn about everything else.

Sara and Keiwa were about to decline the offer but Neon’s face made them accept it. (pouty cat face)

Prediction Galore

Keiwa’s grievously injured after his fight with Kekera, prompting a hospital stay, to which the Kuramas shouldered the bills this time around too. (assets thawed because Kousei was declared innocent as stated above lol)

Sometime after the whole DGP nonsense. Keiwa’s living alone in the apartment with Neon and Sara living together.

Keiwa warned his sister that she better make a mess out of everything.

Sara simply denies it.

Keiwa has taught Neon some basic household chores.

Keiwa also visits the condominium unit from time to time.

Keiwa also had the option of moving in with Neon and Sara, but he didn’t want to because this was what was left of their parents’ inheritance and he was sentimental like that.

Sometime after, Neon and Keiwa admit their feelings to each other.

Neon admitted that she had feelings after he offered that she move in with him and his sister when she was contemplating of going with Kyuun.

Keiwa admitted that he fell in love with her after she still accepted him despite the things he had done.,

They were about to share a lip-to-lip kiss when Ace interrupted it and began teasing the two of them.

Ace: One more, more like, two more happiness granted. *smug grin*

Keiwa simply threw a pillow at the god of creation.

Ace: Say, Neon, would you want your Tycoon to have an eight pack abs? to be shredded?

Neon just pouted at Ace.

Ace: I was going to say I don’t need to do that, our cutie Tanuki is already on his way to a four-pack, it’ll go to 8 sooner than later.

Keiwa: Wha-

Ace: don’t forget I dressed you up after our duel.;

Ace: Am I interrupting something?

K&N: YOU ARE!

Regardless, they resumed what they were doing as soon as Ace left.

Win and Sara congratulated the two.

Sara’s technological know-how managed to land her a job within the Kurama Zaibatsu, for computer security and app making.

And She is thriving there.

Keiwa also got a job for the Zaibatsu as the chauffeur, which then “promoted” him to be working in the office which got him assigned to PR and well, the Zaibatsu has never seen good relations with the stake holders.

Almost all of Keiwa’s charity projects were given instant approval due to in part of it being realistic, and it doesn’t help that a Zaibatsu Worker is almost always at the fore front of disasters.

While Neon and Sara minded how the Zaibatsu steals all the credit for Keiwa’s charitable and acts as a first responder, he doesn’t mind, he’s just happy to help people, like he used to be before the whole DGP nonsense.

Neon uses her platform to rectify this but this only bolstered the Zaibatsu’s PR. (because they don’t steal the credit)

Keiwa and Neon do get together, and well lets save that for later.

Translation Notes

In the official lyrics, all the instances of “Aa-ah” are written out in different lengths, with/without ellipsis, etc, and alternating between kanji, katakana, and hiragana.

The “ねえ” (translated as “hey”) repeated at the beginning of a few lines could also be read/heard as the last word of the preceding line. In that case, as a sentence ending particle, it has a meaning along the lines of “isn’t that right?” or “[…], ok?”

This one was a bit hard for me because of how informal it is, and didn't come out vaguely singable like my usual work. But I persevered because I really like this song. I’d greatly appreciate any mistakes I may have made being pointed out.

Keiwa finds an anonymous box of cat themed valentines choco for him

Another lengthy one~

He stares at Ace suspiciously, thinking that he left the choco to mess with him since Ace likes teasing him with Neon. Neon already gave him giri-choco, so it couldn't be her anyway.

Ace is just amused that Keiwa thinks he'd go through all that effort just to trick Keiwa. He suggests that maybe it's from one of his sponsors or fans, though of course he has no idea why they'd make it cat-themed when Keiwa's a tanuki-themed rider. When Keiwa is still suspicious, he offers to sample one of them to prove that it's safe, but Keiwa snatches the choco away from him possessively and finally believes Ace.

After Keiwa leaves the area to eat his choco in privacy, Ace smirks knowingly at a blushing Neon, commending her on her idea of covering up her tracks by giving Keiwa giri-choco so he wouldn't think the honmei-choco is from her too. But he does also encourage her to properly confess so that by White Day she would receive a gift from him too XD

(Little did they know that Keiwa was not fooled by either of them, and he's already planning what he's going to give to Neon in return... all while smiling goofily as he eats his honmei-choco)

Random taneko fic idea I may write lol

Setting is after Keiwa's rampage is done, but Sara is still MIA

Keiwa is understandably depressed over his sister. He's visibly struggling- obviously not sleeping or eating enough, the apartment is a mess, etc. Basically it's obvious he's not taking care of himself

But he isn't the only one struggling- Neon was also affected by Sara's apparent death. And what's more is that she becomes unsure about how to handle living alone

While Neon is consoling Keiwa, he admits that he doesn't really want to be alone, he feels like his home is empty and maybe he feels he would do something stupid like kill himself

Neon then impulsively offers to let him stay with her for the meantime, at least until he gets himself back together. And in return maybe he can help her learn domestic skills idk. He agrees because he really doesn't want to be alone and he wants to support Neon in his sister's stead

Some time later Ace goes to Neon's to discuss something with her, only to find Keiwa answering her door

He notes Keiwa seems to have been doing better lately, no more dark shadows under his eyes, eats regularly again, more cheerful and sociable etc.

And then he sees the apartment and it's quite clear to him that Keiwa's been there a while. Plus he sees that Keiwa and Neon are clearly comfortable around each other. Domestic, even.

So, Ace being Ace, he teases them about co-habitating when just a few months ago they can't even admit they were together lol (cue frantic denials while Ace laughs like the mischievous kitsune he is)

But yeah they be domestic af- like cooking together (and feeding each other to let the other taste the food), doing chores together, buying snacks and knickknacks the other would like etc.

Also: Neon's trash has a lot of bowls of instant tanuki soba.

If When Sara comes back and Keiwa moves back in with her, he realizes he left something at Neon's place and Sara's like "...Wait, why would you even bring that to her place?" And when Keiwa explains that he lived with Neon for a while Sara goes catatonic with shock lol. "My little brother... and Neon-chan... are like that...?" (cue more frantic denials lol)

When Neon and Keiwa actually get together Ace asks if they're gonna go straight to marriage and living together in domestic bliss once more, since they've already done that anyway

Might be a little late for some Valentine's Day Headcanons, but it's still the month of February so here goes.

Keiwa's side (with a dash of Sara):

Keiwa, contrary to popular belief, has received lots of chocolates when he was at school.

The reason why Sara doesn't believe that Keiwa could have a girlfriend when the policeman suggested after she reported him missing was the fact that she knew that Keiwa was only receiving store-bought chocolates as opposed to homemade ones.

But yes, Keiwa has received chocolates every February 14.

But unknown to his sister, he has also received homemade chocolates, especially from unknown people who used his shoe locker as a means to confess their love to him.

And those chocolates ended up being judged as storebought by his sister.

Keiwa, this time, also received chocolates from the people he knew in the Desire Grand Prix.

He received one from Sae Ganaha, which confused the hell out of him. (It was apparently an apology for how she acted in the competition. ie her mother forced her to give him one)

He received one from Tsumuri which got him all awkward considering the events that transpired with the Bujin Sword Buckle.

Of course, he also received not one but two chocolates from his sister, one store-bought and the other homemade. Well, the homemade one was under his supervision.

Most importantly, he received a homemade chocolate from Neon, who was beet red before giving him a kiss on his cheeks.

That got him blushing mad as a result.

Neon's side

Neon hasn't given or received chocolates due to how strict her mother was

While chocolate-giving wasn't banned at her school, it was just not allowed for two months, hence the students from her school opted to give them personally outside of school where the school rules weren't enforceable.

And she was always brought to and picked up from school so wouldn't be able to give chocolates or receive chocolates.

This Valentine's Day came around, and she went to the one person who was relatively unrelated to the person she was giving homemade chocolate: Sae Ganaha.

Neon would've gone to Tsumuri, but she didn't know if the DGP's navigator even knew how to cook.

The other person she could have gone to was Sara, but she was very related to the person she was giving a homemade chocolate so she was immediately disqualified.

Sae simply smirked before referring Neon to her mother, who also forced Sae to attend the chocolate-making lessons because she knew she'd need to make one someday.

Sae and Neon learned how to make chocolates under Sae's mother's supervision.

After she made some batches of chocolates, Neon chose one of the best and wrapped it with yellow and black wrappers before drawing her ID core's logo on it in pink.

She also drew Tycoon's ID core logo to make it even more special.

When they met at the Desire Lounge on Valentine's Day, Neon immediately gave her chocolate to Keiwa, The same time Tsumuri gave her chocolate to him.

A dash of Tsumuri:

Tsumuri knew how to make a simple chocolate bar. And as this era's culture dictated, girls and women give chocolate to the people they care about, in light with this, Tsumuri made everyone a chocolate bar for each of the former participants of the Desire Grand Prix, people who have impacted her existence.

As soon as Valentine's Day rolled around, she made sure to call everyone, including Buffa, PunkJack, Keilow, and Nadge-Sparrow. She gave each of them a bar of chocolate wrapped in black and white wrapping paper.

Some of the girls got the same idea and gave their chocolates to the people present in the Desire Lounge.
