Card of the Week: 7 of Swords ✧☾゜・。

This week’s theme is deceit.

To have a great and powerful mind requires reason and discernment on how to best use it without harming others in the process. The 7 of Swords is an interesting card for its definition depends on the perception in which its being looked at. Whether you’re the one doing the deceit or the one being deceived.

This is a general reading so I’m going to try to explain as many perspectives as possible, but it would be up to you to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

If you’re the one embodying this energy, we are being reassured that no matter the circumstances, we can achieve success with great intellect and cunning. However, we are being warned to not abused said power, for cunning can turn into cruelty if it’s not used correctly and with the right intentions. We may experience tension or conflict from the outside world, tempting us to fall in defensive ways that may increase the problem, instead of solving it. Therefore, to reach success in any field you must be strong, have a cold mind before taking any kind of action and find the heart of the matter; instead of using the swords to harm those against you, use them to form a new path that would leave your enemies speechless at the sight of your resourcefulness.

Intuition is your best friend this week, for this card has great energy to find the truth of anything. If you feel like your partner, friend, boss or anyone around you has hidden motives, this week you’ll be able to pierce the veil of deceit quite easily (great time for speaking upfront with someone and clearing up stuff). On the other side of the spectrum, if you’ve been cheating, lying, or hiding something… this week your secrets might come to the surface in the most unexpected and hurtful ways possible.

I can’t emphasize this enough, be careful to not cross the line between being cunning and being cruel. Karma is writing the names of the wicked in a black notebook this week, so remember, don’t take more than what you deserve, don’t hurt others if they don’t deserve retribution and don’t lie when you must be honest.

If you’re the one receiving this energy from the outside, and you’ve been a sweet little cinnamon minding its own business, well… this card becomes both a warning and an encouragement. Warning for it’s letting you know of outside forces trying to hurt you in hidden ways, and encouragement for it’s advising you to be resourceful and cunning enough to prepare for said danger. Gossip and lies are going to be very present this week, and while you should be mindful of the people talking behind your back, be smart enough to not let it get through you. Also, if you have a project in mind, don’t talk about it, keeping your blessings in secret will protect them from being poisoned by envy.

Apart from this being a great week for being intelligent enough to unmask the traitor/s around you and listening to your intuition on how to move forward, this is a great time to focus on ourselves. Not in a Hermit kind of way, but this card is encouraging us to move with confidence on our own path of self-discovery and rebirth, paying no mind to what everyone thinks. Listening to your heart can be the greatest weapon of all, lighting you up and elevating you where no one can hurt you anymore.

While not as prevalent (but still important), to the people with mental health problems this can talk of the lies our own heads can give to us on the daily, so please be mindful of knowing the difference between negative self-talk and reality. And finally, if someone hurts or betrays you, rest assured that judgement shall strike the cruel with great ferocity.

Listen to me, the wheels of karma are very present this week, you or your enemies may get away with their deceits and betrayal… but sooner or later there will be harsh retribution.

The week starts with moon in Bharani. The moon at the birth of Venus makes today and the rest of the week especially good for seduction, pleasure and feminine energy to shine fully… but also for judgement and retribution to happen. Also, we’ll get a full moon in Rohini later this week, emphasizing the message of lies and deceit being very prominent energy. Like in Snow White, before biting the juicy red apple, think twice of the intentions of the person giving it to you.

Monthly Reading! ❄️December 2022❄️

This month’s theme is rebirth. Only through love, kindness and courage will we be able to rise from the ashes.

✧☾゜・。˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗ 。・゜☽✧

How will the month of December be like? Judgement

Times of transformation await us in this snowy month. This card is telling us that this is the perfect time to experience rebirth and leave behind not only what no longer serve us, but also our old selves. We are being asked to look at our past and present with an objective mind and realize if our actions, routines, and way of being align with our desired future… if not, we need to destroy those old habits and situations that are now weighing us down and allow ourselves to surrender to change.

Like the ancient Egyptian weighing of the heart, we need to go into a process of judgement of ourselves and compare the way we are with the way we want to be. By divine law, everything you desire, desires you. Everything you want to become, you are meant to be. So why deny our blissful liberation by slaving ourselves to negative cycles and useless ego? Weigh your heart in comparison with your universal truth, are they in perfect harmony? Or are they in complete opposite paths?

Collectively, this card marks the beginning of a new era in the world. Like the angel playing his trumpet on the apocalypse, or the beautiful siren singing the melody of our deepest desires… we are being invited to follow our personal calling and new awakening. However, we are being warned that, if we do not follow said calling, we run the danger of remaining stuck in an eternal purgatory where stagnant energy blocks us from experiencing new horizons, making us deny the new visions that want to illuminate us.

At the end of the day, we need to accept new beginnings with the innocence of a child who accepts the magic and nature of things: without our egos.

What challenges will you face? 10 of Swords reversed, The Star

From environmental destruction and cruel governments abusing their power, to hostiles situations or someone we know that wants to put us down. This month’s challenges are about extreme negativity and surrendering to the ego. Everybody is falling for false ideas of their own preconceived truth. If we think the lies we tell ourselves are better that what we actually need to hear, how will we ever transcend and become better beings? New pathways are starting to form, but we need to stop resisting change, for unnecessary fear can make the sharpness of the swords painful instead of liberating. Therefore, we are being asked to transform the negativity of our surroundings and ourselves into something more positive, allowing it to fuel the light that will shows the true pathway to our heart’s desires.

The Star compliments this message by reminding us we mustn’t lose hope, for good things are awaiting us at the end of the dark forest with open arms. It doesn’t matter how difficult or heartbreaking it may be, we must leave behind everything that is impeding us to see the blessings of the future… for it’s only by opening ourselves to the possibilities of our dreams coming true that The Star appears to us and guides us to a new dawn.

How can you overcome those challenges? 5 of Pentacles

The first thought that came to mind with this card was “Damn, some of you need to be humble.” Lmao. Followed right after by remembering the movie Cinderella, which made the message of this card very clear to me.

Whether sentimental, economical or of any sort, hardships are very tough and dangerous for the heart. This is because, while it’s only through them that we can grow, by experiencing them we run into the danger of blinding ourselves with the negativity and pain certain situations are making us face. With heartbreak, we may believe love doesn’t exit or isn’t worth it. With economical problems, fear makes us believe money is all that matters and that we should hold tightly to it, and so on. We have to remember that even though the 5 of pentacles can mean poverty or loss of something that used to sustain you… it’s only doing it for it was build on falsehood and ego, making you come back to the root of what you truly are and want.

It's the way we deal with this grief what marks the kind of transformation we’ll have, either turning our hearts into cold and petrified stones or beautiful blossoming flowers. This card is asking us to not drown in the negativity of our situation and dream of the possibilities of what could be, for it’s only through the perseverance of a kind heart and starry vision that even the hardest winter would never be able to take us down.

What lessons will you learn this month? Ace of Cups

All the hardships that have been described before were necessary for us to learn to open ourselves to the never-ending opportunities that are ahead of us, in which we are now being offered the most amazing blessing we could get: love. And while this can be a significator for a new romantic partner, it also talks of the wonders of falling in love with your surroundings, your life and most importantly, yourself. The major lesson one can learn is to maintain a kind heart and a loving perception of ourselves and environment even when hardships and pain walk through our front doors uninvited.

What is something you should let go? Queen Of Pentacles, 3 of Wands reversed

While the Queen of Pentacles usually has very abundant and rich energy, when it’s accompanied with the 3 of Wands reversed… she become stagnation personified. The throne that once used to be filled with rich, tasteful abundance is now rotten by the lack of vision, movement and care that was once holding the crown of the pentacles. This now bitter queen instead of using her roots to give us blessings is gifting us broken dreams and soul sucking energy. We are being asked to leave behind whatever we are holding onto, for we may rot if we don’t release the tight grip we have at the moment. Instead of focusing on material things, we should focus on revitalizing dreams that in the past were broken, look ahead and realize we always have the opportunity to bring something to life. In this way we can turn stagnation into opportunity and make solid roots for our desires to manifest.

Moon Faces ✧☾゜・。

I must say I’m surprised because just looking at the moon faces the message of my reading is emphasized even more!

☾ Full moon in Rohini (transitioning to Mrigashirsa): Rohini, being the birth of the moon, talks of a beautiful and rich state of being, like the Garden of Eden. However, it also represents stagnation and fossilized sweetness. By being in the full moon, we are being asked to release and let go, dare venture ourselves out of the garden so we are able to grow instead of stagnate in a state of illusion and falsehood. Like Mrigashirsa, the birth of desire, we have to break the chains of our actual state to go after what we truly want.

☾ New moon in Mula: Barhana Shakti (The Power to “Ruin, Destroy and to Break Things Apart”) is the power this nakshatra has. This moon is specifically good to get to the root of things, for this sign has the desire to destroy not to harm, but to heal. Mula is considered the sign that brings liberation for it takes away anything that no longer serves you, therefore purifying and preparing you to receive blessings right after. This new moon is asking us to surrender to transformation and hardships, for it’s only in this way that we’ll be able to reach new heights.

New beginnings! This is a great time to start something new in any kind of area, as long as you’re discerning before taking action, you’re good to go.

Love is definitely on the way, lol. I do think self-love also counts here, but someone is for sure checking you out.

This week’s theme is transmutation.

To work with what we have at hand and use it in a skillful manner. This week we are remined of our own power, that it doesn’t matter how big a problem may seem, we have the ability to transform negativity into positivity. Obstacle into opportunity. If we allow ourselves to see the beauty in our majestic existence and masterful abilities, as well as those of the world around us, like King Midas everything we touch will turn to gold.

Be open to receive the energies and vibrations of all things, integrate them and later transmute them into elevated knowledge and opportunities.

But above all, we don´t need anyone to rise from the shadows. Everything we need is already within us.

Weekly Tarot! Jan 16 - Jan 22, 2023

Cards of the Week: The Fool, The Hanged Man ✧☾゜・。

This week’s theme is delightful madness.

Whether we are waiting for personal projects to bloom, or some dreams we want to chase, The Fool and The Hanged Man tell us that it is time to act with the same innocence and lightness of a curious child; drowning in wonder and happiness as if it were the coming of summer and not the middle of winter.

Just last week we pulled The World reversed, asking us to leave everything that doesn’t serve us in the past, so we can begin a bright new future. If we did our homework and made the effort to follow this card’s advice, then a door opens before us, inviting us to rejoice in the endless possibilities that now lie ahead of us.

While The Fool is whispering seductively in our ears to go bunkers and to take a chance, The Hanged Man is trying to teach us this week the difference between times of contemplation and times of stagnation. Maybe all of our dreams and ideas have been petrified by past frustrations and personal dilemmas, but now things have changed. This week both of this archetypes are grabbing our hands and screaming at us: “GO WITH THE FLOW! So you finally get to taste the wine of happiness that is life itself!”

Weekly Tarot! Jan 9 - Jan 15, 2023

Card of the Week: The World reversed ✧☾゜・。

This week’s theme is accepting renewal.

And just as the prom queen is getting crowned, the ghosts of her past appear before her, making her believe she doesn’t deserve this opportunity.

The World is one of the most beautiful and desired cards in the whole tarot system, for it shows the final achievement of our dreams and attainment of our goals. However, in reversed, this card speaks of delayed gratification or achievement, leaving us frustrated and creating unnecessary disruption in our lives.

In what way are we denying or blocking ourselves from receiving this blessings?

Disbalance is the main problem here, detachment from our physical and spiritual self in represented by this card that is now asking us to surrender and leave in the past everything that no longer serves us. Whether we are being haunted by insecurities, old grudges, bad habits, or negativity in general, we must learn how to accept, process, and handle these things so we can experience the beauty that is both around and inside of us. We are being warned that, if we don’t do this inner healing and reconciliation with the things that are bringing us sorrow, we may end up blocking our path even more.

This card is a reminder that our desires and dreams will come true! This week’s theme is tantalizing desire.

To stop admiring from afar and finally following the siren’s lullaby. After times of sadness, anxiety and regret, where rationality has reigned for more than it should, we find ourselves at a crossroads and with the need to make a choice. Should we stay where we are, even if it leaves us unsatisfied? Or should we go after our dreams and finally make them a reality?

This week we are being asked to be assertive and go after our desires. Creativity, beauty, and pleasure are present and welcoming us with open arms to heal the numbness we’ve been feeling lately.
