Songkran-isms bc it makes sense
droy uses full buckets of water and it's fucking terrifying because he can absolutely lift all that and knock a bitch (jet) out if he so pleases
also has water backpack he carries around
jet dual wields water guns and likes chasing the tuk-tuks and busses and spray water in them
jet breakdances on the wet road and it really fucking hurts but also its so fun
jet loses his flip flops every year
levy doesn't really care what she uses but one year she did use an empty weed sprayer and still has phantom arm soreness
she pranks the boys by catching them with their guard down and dropping water in their pants
they do love driving around and do a splash drive buy, but they like walking the most
levy also does the most talcum powder applying tbh tbh
they get juvia in it <3 because obv
consider water rave festival au
lily.... stays at home.. jk he has perfect vantage point from above
gajeel thought he could be intimidating but there is no mercy...
Everything Else:
droy can do mean thai yell (you usually hear it during celebrations and the such, i can't explain it because I don't know the actual word for it but in this song the very first cry is what im talking about)
i don't even know if i can do a favorite dish they all like becuase i think they would like all of it lol... spice tolerance from most to least is droy, levy, jet
jet is a SLUT for thai ice cream sandwiches .. they're not like the american ice cream sandwiches btw, it's like ice cream in an actual bun with white bread or something
levy loves loves fish sauce and fruit. that boy loves tart shit ok guys. she gets like the underripe fruits and just eats that with salt, sugar, and pepper like it's nothign (she got gajeel hooked on it)
droy likes agar jellies and coconut rice .. heart..
jet has hella beef with this one thai auntie neighbor but no one can tell if it's genuine or like a secretly agreed on beef
khon masked dancer jet.
nang mai/rukkhadeva (ghost inhabiting a large tree) droy heh.. heh...
ive definitely said this but droy is a great luk thung (thai country) singer,
Songs Because I Can't Help It I LOVE MUSIC
droy and levy vibes tbh (tis also one of the iconic thai new years songs teehee)
jet new years song
jet and levy campy gay hostility
this isn't even major sg to me imi just in awe with how much i hate this song but also keep listneing to (if it sounds like a song talking about twerking, it is. and it's so . .. . /confused)
majorrrrr silly jet vibes (the song is about a scam caller getting pranked or something)
this song is like how i think jet and droy would "flirt" with levy in the way that it is a BIT and they are teasing gajeel, and its just silly (the song is silly and is basically hey girl have you eaten yet!!!!!)

2023 Bahama Cruise, Part 14. April. 1. Thompson Bay, Grey’s Bight, Long Island.
Tumblr media
Dinner party on “Time Out”. Above left to right: Capt. of “Sea Breeze” Dana, Capt. David Houston “Cheval”, Capt. and author, Paul Trammell “Water Rose”.
Tumblr media
Jim and Laurie hosted 6 of us on their Lagoon 45 F (F for Flybridge). Big and beautiful, it is perfect for dinner parties. Plus the upper helm has great visibility for docking. “Cheval” provided fresh hogfish, which Jim cooked in a Thai soup. Nancy provided a coconut flan for desert. Rounding out a three course meal.
Jim and Laurie have traveled from the Mediterranean to Grenada and up the Carribean. Now that they are in the Bahamas, they say this is the friendliest group of cruisers they have met. Jim said in the short time they have been here, the cruiser interaction is a thousand times friendlier than in the Carribean.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Farmers Market opens up Saturday morning early. There are 30 boats in the harbor due to the winds predicted earlier. So it was a scramble in the morning for fresh vegetables. I picked up a large piece of coconut bread for $3 Bahamian. Since they were selling local salt in small zip lock bags. I had to buy one for $2.50 Bahamian. The gentleman standing in the photo, explained how he gets the salt in the summer dry season. They bagged up 20 “fish sacks” full this last summer.
The woman in the top photo was shelling peas. She beats most of the peas out in advance. Here she is doing a final look through. Talks and shells at the same time. As she shells, she gathers up a handful of empty shells in her right hand and allows the field peas to fall to the bottom of the box. Once she gets a handful of empty husk in her hand she drops them in a cardboard box next to her. That is fed to the sheep.
This island was a large sheep herding island. We just missed the annual “mutton festival”.
Tumblr media
We went walk about and talked to Marcie (Knowles) Fox in her parents yard about plants. They just recently were tied into the potable water system. Most houses here have a cistern. Nancy found a beautiful Sea Horse made out of sea glass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We stopped briefly at a natural salt pond. It really reeked. Hope the salt I bought did not come from here! This island must be full of snakes. One Grey Racer was dead on the road the day before. Here we found a dead Bahama Boa. Once we got to the beach, we walked a mile down and back.
When ever my ship starts to go down, forget the EPRIP or calling MAYDAY. I am sticking close to Nancy. If she washes up on a deserted Island, she will find someone to talk to. Hopefully, they will have the means to get us back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you look closely at the foot prints above, the left has tread marks. The right footprint is smooth and no tread marks. Nancy talked to John on the beach. No one ever walks this beach, but Nancy found the one guy. He is an ex-pat, and was wearing a pair of “North Island Shoes”. Two different colored and aged crocks. In the North part of Long Island, if you find it washed up on the beach you wear it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We found some wild Passion Fruit on the side of the trail. Nancy gathered up a handful of fruit. When we stopped back at the Farmers Market, she asked a local woman about them. Nancy was promising to make me some Passion Fruit creme brulee. The woman explained these were not edible and would poison me. Then she promptly threw all of them in the bushes. She saved my life!
Tumblr media
A quick trip below ground for Nancy. I thought I had my flashlight, but it was still on the boat. So we could not go very far. There are bats further in the cave. Once back at the boat we pulled anchor. Well, actually Nancy pulled up the 45 lb. anchor while I drove. Then we headed south 4 miles. To a large Blue Hole and a secluded anchorage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Approximately 500 ft. across at its widest. It is only 38 ft. deep but you can not see the bottom. I took the opportunity to snorkel around the edge. On the north drop off several Mangrove Snapper came up to look at me. Their were several larger Mutton Snapper along the edge. They were very skidish.
Tumblr media
We were back at the boat and Nancy was taking her shower on the aft sugar scoop. Jumping in and getting wet. Getting out and lathering up. Jumping in to rinse off. I happened to be on deck taking some clothes out to hang up. Damn, there was a large shark parallel to the boat and moving away. “Nancy, get in the boat!”.
Why?
Don’t ask why, just get in the boat!
Is it a shark?
Yes, there is a large shark swimming by.
No worries, it is not interested in me.
Nancy, this is not a Nurse, Hammerhead or bull shark. It might be a Tiger Shark!
OKAY! OKAY!
Nancy is obviously fearless!
Tumblr media
Plan for the morning was: Make water, go to the Blue Hole, go swim with the red shrimp, then walk to a secluded beach we found on Goggle Earth.
Water maker would not pressurize and we spent 2 hours troubleshooting it. Then gave up. Skipped the Blue Hole, and dinghied to the boat ramp. Walked a short distance to the church ruins which is where the trail to the Red Shrimp Cave starts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the ruins of St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church. Only one family of 4 was buried in the yard.
Tumblr media
Talking to a native of the island, the graves are facing East. Again, interesting spelling of the name, “Lerlene Moree” 1918- 1958. Notice that either one or two children's graves sit to the side. Times were tough back in the day. In those day midwives delivered the babies on the island. Now when a women is 6 months pregnant she has to leave the island.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Following the well marked trail from behind the church to the cave full of red shrimp. We spent 20 minutes swimming with the shrimp. It appears to be salt water. Hundreds of red shrimp and a crab or two. A few of the shrimp came off of the bottom and swim upside down near the surface.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Nancy reaching towards a red shrimp, while another one is just below her foot.
Tumblr media
Red shrimp at bottom of the photo swimming around. They were thick on the bottom.
Tumblr media
After the shrimp swim, we tried to get to this secluded beach on the East side of the Island. Unfortunately there was a gate on the road.
When you walk on the road here in Long Island every single car that passes waves and or beeps their horn. Not much traffic, but always happy people.
Out here in the middle of nowhere is a small bar with a pool table, called FOXIES. Sign said “3 beers for $10, Karaoke Saturday night”. No cars the first time we walked by. But Sunday on the way back we watched a guy stop and go in. We stopped in and asked if he was open. He said sure. We ordered 3 Kaliks, and paid the 10 dollars. He gave us the fourth beer free so we would be even on the amount of drinks. Cheapest beers we ever had in the Bahamas. Foxie will be a millionaire shortly. He was off to George Town to open another bar and Vape store. That will be his fourth Vape store in the islands. Bahamas are looking at legislation to legalize marijuana and CBD. He is setting himself up on each island chain to sell the stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Low tide so we stopped and walked the beach on the way back. We had spotted a Tamarind tree but we only able to pick a handful of fruit. Rain storm was creeping towards our boat so we headed back.

Apprenticember Days 1-3
I meant to start this yesterday because I missed day 1 bUT I passed the fuck out LET’S GO MOTHERFUCKERS
1. Introduce your apprentice! Just their name, personality, appearance, likes/dislikes for now! If you have pictures of them, post them today!
Delia Florgrande
The amnesiac apprentice with an affinity for sarcasm and trouble.
OTHER NAMES: Dels, Lia, Little Flower (by family)
PRONOUNS: She/her
SEXUALITY: Bisexual
BIRTHDAY: September 1st
ZODIAC: Virgo
MBTI: INFP
HEIGHT: 5′6
FURSONA: I want to say a phoenix for the same reason her familiar is a phoenix
MAGIC CAPABILITIES: Apparently, anything. Because she’s literally the fucking fool. She’s quite adept at healing and repairs, however, and prior to the plague, she had an affinity for air related magic as well.
•••
FAVORITE COLOR: Gold, like the edge of Elidi’s feathers (her familiar)
FAVORITE SEASON: Winter
FAVORITE FOOD: Selasi’s pumpkin bread
FAVORITE DRINK: Hot chocolate
FAVORITE FLOWER: Yellow foxglove (digitalis grandiflora)
FAVORITE FRUIT: Blackberries
FAVORITE STARBUCKS: Delia gets a hot chocolate and a cake pop. She’s not really a coffee girl.
•••
PERSONALITY: Delia is sarcastic and headstrong, with a penchant for snark and sarcasm. Despite being riddled with self-doubt, Delia has the great urge to prove herself, especially to Asra, and to prove she’s grown to take care of herself despite her... delicate condition three years prior.
For someone in customer service—or maybe because she’s in customer service—Delia has a remarkably short temper. She’s one to get pissed off easily, but clench her teeth and smile (albeit rather passive aggressively) through it. Delia is one to look at the big picture first before dealing with the little details or things that have already happened. Like Asra (and likely due to her amnesia), Delia can be rather disorganized at times, and frequently misplaces or forgets things.
•••
After all that, I wanna go into some detail about the origins of her character design (at least, that I picture for her in the game).
Delia’s heritage is based loosely off of my own, that being Latino and Southeast Asian (although Delia’s father is the Latino parent whereas my mom is Latina, and Delia’s mother is the equivalent of Southeast Asian like my dad).
Because of this, I wanted to incorporate traditional Thai and Dominican fashions in her character design, including a skirt similar to a pha nung and belt from Thailand’s traditional chut thai, and a top similar to the Dominican Republic’s traditional dress (all pictured below).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She has a purple pendant as a reference to the Heartsong Festival tale, as its my personal headcanon that the necklace Asra wears was originally hers and made to match her eyes-- so after her resurrection, he made one for her as well to match.
Pictured below is an example of a modern version of Delia from my sims save because I can’t make CC to save my fucking life, and therefore can’t make a game accurate version of her.
Tumblr media
•••
2. Who is their LI? What’s their relationship like?
Tumblr media
More sims 4 because fuck you also I gave Asra non-binary nails in this outfit and I love them
Delia’s main LI is Asra! They are each other’s home, each other’s true north. When one is getting into trouble, the other is right there beside them (usually with Asra roping them both into trouble, although Delia rarely attempts to put a stop to it despite being the one with their Singular Shared Braincell most of the time).
They often put their friendship before their relationship, supporting each other in nearly any endeavor. Asra usually helps to calm Delia’s short temper with light teasing and jokes, and Delia is often there to help Asra open up a little and more comfortably wear his heart on his sleeve.
Arguments are rare between the couple, partially because of Asra’s fear that another fight will lead to losing Delia again (not fun reminder that Asra and the apprentice’s last conversation before they died was a FIGHT. So. Have fun with that). Because of Asra trying to keep the peace at all times, Delia often has to remind Asra that it’s okay for them to argue or fight sometimes, and it’s okay for them to be mad at each other. Likewise, because while recovering Delia was always trying to prove to Asra (and herself) that she was capable and didn’t need him around to take care of her, Asra sometimes has to remind her that they know that she can take care of herself and she doesn’t always have to take everything on her shoulders to prove it or spite someone.
The two magicians bring out the best in each other, and always have each other to come home to. If there’s anyone Delia can depend on to be there for her (even if it’s just through water communication), it’s Asra.
•••
3. Give a short summary of their relationship to the other main characters!
NADIA SATRINAVA
Delia and Nadia are friends! I imagine they’re not as close as they’d like to be because Delia feels just slightly intimidated by Nadia, but they can definitely confide in each other and ask for each others’ advice on different topics.
JULIAN DEVORAK
Oh my god, this dramatic bastard. Delia attacked him when he first broke into her shop. She’s kinda exasperated with him at all times. While they’re not close, they are friends, and she likes attending whatever shows he’s in with Portia.
MURIEL
Delia wants to be closer to Muriel, since he’s Asra’s best friend. She prefers giving him space though. It’s kinda like trying to befriend a cat— if you want them to come close to you, you kinda have to ignore them or just casually exist in their presence. She’ll often come visit him with Asra, usually with food or something to thank him for letting them into his safe space when she knows he’s a hermit.
PORTIA
Portia and Delia are best friends. Delia gets palace gossip from Portia, Portia gets town gossip from Delia, and Delia often helps Portia practice magic when she’s out of her lessons with Asra’s parents. When they can, they often explore the palace to try and find other hidden passageways and stuff.
LUCIO
Lucio jailed the love of her life’s parents, leaving him an orphan, turned Muriel into his own personal executioner, and stole her body.
Yeah... Delia’s not too fond of him.
That being said, in another canon with my friends and all their apprentice MCs, Delia’s just kind of sick of Lucio’s shit. He does however, have a redemption arc in this AU (AU? Separate canon? I’m not sure how to refer to it) and is with one of her best friends, Aurelia ( @you-go-doe ‘s MC), so she can tolerate him. Not for very long though.

Reasons for Worshipping The Lord Kartikeya
Tumblr media
Worship of Lord Kartikeya — He has several names and known as Skanda, Subrahmanya, Shanmugam, Kumaran, Seyon, Saravaṇa, Guhan, Murugan, Dandapani and many other names. He is the eldest son of Lord Shiva and the goddess Parvati and born to slay the asuras. The legend says that the Tarakasura and Surapadma received the blessing of Lord Shiva that none other than Lord Shiva can kill them. The asura thus became invincible and attacked devas and made them slaves. Hearing this enraged Lord Shiva frowned and six sparks emerge from his third eye. The six sparks are the six heads of Lord Kartikeya. The six heads of Lord Kartikeya represent six attributes those are wisdom, quietism, fame, strength, wealth, and divine power. The six heads also mean the five senses or temptations he conquered; those are, lust, anger, avarice, passion and jealousy and the sixth one is the mind.
Reasons for worship
He is worshipped for eternal youth and his knowledge. He taught the Lord Shiva the meaning of OM. Those who worship the Lord believe that the Lord will free them from the five vices and give them eternal youth. In eastern India, Lord Kartikeya is also worshipped by the childless couple to get a child.
How to worship
Devotion is what you need to worship Kartikeya. The arrangement is very simple. You will need incense sticks, camphor, sandal paste, kumkum, the holy water of the Ganges, or any clean water. At first, you light a lamp and incense stick and meditate before the idol. Once you feel your mind is free from other thoughts chant the mantra and sprinkle holy water, and then offer the deity sandal paste, chant the mantra, and then offer kumkum. Now you can perform Archana. You can do it like your daily puja. Offer flowers and fruits to the deity and keep the camphor burning. In India, Tuesday is dedicated to the war god Mars and is considered auspicious to worship Lord Kartikeya.
Festivals based on Lord Kartikey
In eastern India including Orissa and West Bengal, the Kartikeya festival is on the last day of the month of Kartik. In parts of West Bengal, it is done with much festivity and it goes on for four days, Bansberia is one such place. In South, India Kartikeya is called Murugan and every town has Murugan temple and is worshipped as god of the Nature. The full moon day in the month of Karthik is auspicious and on this day the Karthikeya has received his Vel from goddess mother Parvati and is celebrated. In South India and also in other parts of the world Kartlkeya festival is celebrated, in the Tamil month of Thai. The Lord Kartikeya is worshipped in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Singapore and there are temples in UK and USA.

Creative Ways to Serve and Enjoy Sparkling Wine
When it comes to celebratory libations, few beverages rival the effervescent charm of sparkling wine. Whether it's the pop of a Champagne cork at a wedding or the gentle fizz of Prosecco shared among friends, sparkling wine has secured its place as a symbol of joy and festivity. In this article, we'll delve beyond the bubbles to uncover creative ways to serve and savor this beloved beverage, all while highlighting the versatility and charm that make sparkling wine a perennial favorite.
Understanding Sparkling Wine
Before we explore innovative serving ideas and delightful cocktails, let's take a moment to understand what sets sparkling wine apart. At its essence, sparkling wine is any wine infused with carbon dioxide to produce bubbles. The traditional method of crafting sparkling wine involves a secondary fermentation process in the bottle, where yeast and sugar create natural carbonation. This meticulous technique is synonymous with renowned sparkling wine regions such as Champagne, where artisans have perfected the craft over centuries.
Tumblr media
In addition to Champagne, the world of sparkling wine encompasses a diverse array of styles and regions. From the crisp elegance of Prosecco to the zesty allure of Spanish Cava, each variety offers its unique profile and personality. Notably, the renaissance of English sparkling wine has captured the attention of connoisseurs worldwide, with its distinctive terroir and impeccable craftsmanship earning accolades on the global stage.
Creative Serving Ideas
Elevate your sparkling wine experience with creative serving ideas that tantalize the senses and enhance enjoyment. Begin by selecting the appropriate glassware, opting for flutes to showcase the wine's effervescence or elegant coupes for a touch of vintage flair. Ensure your sparkling wine is chilled to perfection, with temperatures ranging from 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal refreshment.
Pairing sparkling wine with culinary delights can elevate both the wine and the dining experience. For a classic combination, serve Champagne alongside oysters or delicate seafood dishes. Alternatively, embrace the versatility of sparkling wine by pairing it with unexpected fare such as spicy Thai cuisine or savory popcorn drizzled with truffle oil. The effervescence of sparkling wine acts as a palate cleanser, making it an ideal companion for a variety of flavors and textures.
Exploring Sparkling Wine Cocktails
Venture beyond traditional toasts and explore the world of sparkling wine cocktails, where creativity knows no bounds. From brunch-time Bellinis to sophisticated French 75s, sparkling wine lends itself beautifully to mixology. For a refreshing twist, try a Sparkling Elderflower Spritz, combining sparkling wine with elderflower liqueur, soda water, and a splash of citrus. Or, transport your taste buds to the Mediterranean with a Sparkling Aperol Spritz, blending Prosecco with Aperol and a hint of zesty orange.
Celebrating with Sparkling Wine
No celebration is complete without a bottle of sparkling wine to mark the occasion. Whether you're toasting a promotion, ringing in the new year, or simply savoring the joys of everyday life, sparkling wine adds a touch of elegance to any affair. Consider hosting a sparkling wine-tasting party, inviting friends to sample an assortment of bubblies while learning about different styles and regions. Encourage guests to share their tasting notes and favorite pairings, fostering lively conversation and camaraderie.
Investing in Quality
As you explore the world of sparkling wine, remember the importance of investing in quality. While there's no shortage of options available, choosing reputable producers ensures a memorable and enjoyable experience. Keep an eye out for English sparkling wine, whose exceptional quality and craftsmanship rival that of its continental counterparts. With its vibrant acidity and pristine fruit character, English sparkling wine has emerged as a worthy contender on the global stage, offering a taste of the terroir and traditions that define the British countryside.
Conclusion
In conclusion, sparkling wine transcends mere refreshment, embodying the spirit of celebration and conviviality. Whether enjoyed on its own or as part of a creative cocktail, sparkling wine has a knack for elevating any occasion. From intimate gatherings to grand festivities, let the effervescence of sparkling wine spark joy and add sparkle to your life. So, go ahead, pop the cork, pour a glass, and savor the magic of sparkling wine with The Fine Wine Company Ltd. Here's to a life brimming with effervescence and happiness!

"Thailand: Land of Smiles, Culture, and Endless Wonders"
Tumblr media
Every person has a dream, a dream that can go everywhere. Each of us wishes to be a traveller, explore different places and experience different cultures. Traveling is one of the happiest things especially when we are with our families and friends. As one of the young people, my dream is to go to places where there are beautiful views. As a kid, I have always wanted to visit Thailand. The country above is located in the center of mainland Southeast Asia. This location is far distant, since getting there requires taking a plane. When you arrive at the airport, friendly people will welcome you. Bangkok is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. Thailand is known for its beautiful places, rich culture, and delicious foods. It is a famous destination for tourists from around the world who are seeking a unique, exotic, and adventurous experience. Let's go and explore Thailand!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the beginning of our journey, let us first know the history and culture of the country. The country was previously known as Siam until 1939 when it was officially renamed Thailand, translating to "Land of the Free". Thailand is said to be a "Buddhist Country" where they believe in and worship only Buddhism. Thai culture is deeply rooted in Theravada Buddhism, which influences every aspect of life. Thai culture is full of unique traditions, exquisite art, outfit, dances and flavorsome cuisine. The arts, including dance, music, and intricate craftsmanship, reflect the country's rich heritage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first place we will explore is the "Siam Niramit Show, Journey to the Enchanted Kingdom of Siam." Here you can see the beautiful traditional clothes worn by women and men in Thailand. In Thailand they have a unique method of making Rice Pudding which they say it is yummy, from the picture we can say it is very delicious! In Thailand, Elephant is their National animal and their traditional dancing and stage performances can also be seen here. Second destination is going to their temple. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha. I am sure that all this can only be seen within Bangkok. Here you can see the real golds attached to the temples. When you enter, you must remove your slippers, it is also forbidden to make noise and you must show respect inside their temple. On the outside of the temples is where they worship their Buddha, using orange and yellow flowers, incense and fruits to worship and pay respect to him. The third place we are exploring is the famous Floating Market. They call it "Damnoen Saduak", a famous floating market in their area within Bangkok. Here you can see the people of their country selling various goods. You can find fruits, clothes, street food and even hats and what not. All of this is sold in a boat that goes around their river dedicated for sale. This places is really nice to visit.
Tumblr media
The next thing we must go and experience in Thailand is their festival. In Thailand, they have various types of festival, in visiting this place here we get to experience their unique festival located in Chiang Mai and across North Thailand. In going to this place you need to commute for 8 hours if you are in Bangkok. One of my favourite festival is the "Yi Peng Lantern Festival". Yi Peng is also known as "Thailand Sky Lantern Festival". This festival is one of the popular in Thailand. The sky lanterns are called "khom loi" in Thai, which means floating lanterns (Zhao, 2023).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In exploring the place, we discover different people. The people in their country are known as "Thais" and an individual is called "Thai", people there are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The language of Thailand is called "Siamese", when you go there and you are not a native speaker, they can still speak English for you. The cities of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Ayutthaya stand as testaments to the country's historical significance and contemporary charm, as you can see in the picture above. The city did not lose its brightness even at night, because the enthusiasm of the people brings lighter to the whole city.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After touring every city in Thailand, we feel hunger in exploring every places and now we are heading to eat. The foods in Thailand, this place has some unique cuisine that people will love. Everyone who will visit this country must try their food. Here we can taste the different types of food that is good like Pad Thai, a stir-fried noodle dish mixed with tofu, shrimp, or chicken, seasoned with tamarind, fish sauce, and a medley of toppings like peanuts and lime. The food and taste is different compared to the dish of the Philippines. Their dish is very affordable with prices ranging from 30 baht (47 pesos) to 80–90 baht (126.24-142.24 pesos) restaurant meals can range from 50 to 500 baht (79-790 pesos). It depends on the food, you should try and experience tasting their dish when you go there.
Tumblr media
We finally explore the different tourist spot, tradition, culture, and foods in Thailand, So let us know our expenses. In Thailand, this is a budget friendly country, in visiting it we should know the total cost. The flight cost of Philippines to Thailand is ₱11,961. When you arrive to Thailand it can offer a diverse range of expenses, catering to various budgets. Accommodation, foods, and transportation can be affordable. Budget travelers find hotels and street food more cheaper. Transportation costs vary, with local buses and trains being cost-effective, it can range from 4.50-5.50 baht (7.11-8.60 pesos) depending on the distance. A mid-range budget traveler can expect to spend $75 (4,265 pesos) per day in Thailand. This generally means staying at $20(1000 pesos) per person per night accommodations, eating a mix of street and restaurant food, and going on several tours.
Tumblr media
In Thailand, when we visit we should give respect to the people living in there. It's essential to dress appropriately when visiting temples and to remove your shoes before entering sacred places. Be cautious with your interactions and language regarding the Thai monarchy. If we notice, their place is clean and cozy compared to other famous ones in the city.
The dos and don'ts when visiting this country; DO show respect to the King, the Royal family & all Buddha images. Dress appropriates in public places, especially when visiting the temples or religious place. Greet people with traditional "Wal" by putting your palms together and bow a little bit. Avoid disrespecting Buddha images, public displays of affection, or speaking critically about the monarchy, which is illegal and offensive to locals.
Overall, all I can say is that Thailand is worth to travel, we get to experience their amazing architecture, foods, culture, people, etc. Thailand is special because it's not just beautiful but also has a really interesting culture and friendly people. Its old buildings tells a meaningful story, and it has unique festivals that amaze people in. It's affordable, rich in culture, and has stunning nature, making it a perfect place for travelers in Southeast Asia.

A Brief History of Food Trucks in Kelowna
Food trucks have a long and storied history in Kelowna. They first gained popularity in the early 2000s when a few enterprising chefs decided to take their culinary skills to the streets. These pioneers recognized the potential to offer gourmet-quality food at affordable prices, and their vision quickly caught on.
The Local Favorites
One of the food trucks that has become a local favourite is "Taste of Kelowna." This mobile kitchen specialises in farm-to-table cuisine, sourcing its ingredients from local farmers and producers. Their signature dish, the Okanagan Poutine, is a mouthwatering blend of crispy fries, rich gravy, and fresh cheese curds, all sourced from nearby farms. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Kelowna.
International Flavors on Wheels
While local flavours are a highlight of Kelowna's food truck scene, you can also embark on a culinary journey around the world without leaving the city. "Global Bites" is a food truck that brings international flavours to your doorstep. From savoury Mexican tacos to fragrant Thai curries, their menu is a passport to global cuisine.
The Sweet Side of Kelowna
It's not just savoury dishes that steal the show in Kelowna's food truck scene. "Sweet Temptations" is a dessert-focused food truck that has gained a devoted following for its delectable treats. Their homemade ice creams, topped with fresh fruit from the Okanagan Valley, are the stuff of dreams. Be sure to try their signature "Kelowna Crunch" sundae.

Reasons for Worshipping The Lord Kartikeya
Tumblr media
Worship of Lord Kartikeya — He has several names and is known as Skanda, Subrahmanya, Shanmugam, Kumaran, Seyon, Saravaṇa, Guhan, Murugan, Dandapani, and many others names. He is the eldest son of Lord Shiva and the goddess Parvati and was born to slay the Asuras. The legend says that the Tarakasura and Surapadma received the blessing of Lord Shiva that none other than Lord Shiva could kill them. The asura thus became invincible and attacked devas and made them slaves. Hearing this enraged Lord Shiva frowned and six sparks emerged from his third eye. The six sparks are the six heads of Lord Kartikeya. The six heads of Lord Kartikeya represent six attributes those are wisdom, quietism, fame, strength, wealth, and divine power. The six heads also mean the five senses or temptations he conquered; those are, lust, anger, avarice, passion, and jealousy and the sixth one is the mind.
In South, India Kartikeya is called Murugan and every town has a Murugan temple which is worshipped as the god of Nature.
