Rewatching ep.28 of Love Between Fairy and Devil

Part 2

(spoilers ahead)

So, where were we? Oh, yes, Xunfeng being Xunfeng

I love how DFQC simply smiles at Xiao Lanhua and they both go ahead and ignore Xunfeng

“Hatred is the foundation of the Moon Tribe.” *sigh* Xunfeng, my dear boy

“You made my brother indulge in love and neglect his duties” translation: Why no one loves me? Also, when did DFQC neglect his duties? Well, apart from the hellfire hiccup

“And you connected your lives through the One Heart Curse.” It’s not like she did it on purpose, dude. She doesn’t even know how she did it

Look at his face. Leave my babies alone, Xunfeng!

Xiao Lanhua has grown so much from that childish, carefree fairy. Even her voice is more mature. She states reasons why she has to go into the cave, using valid and logical arguments. And that is why I don’t understand people who refuse to watch it only due to her baby voice in the first episodes. It’s called character development

Their first fight as a couple. “No, I will sacrifice my life for you.” – “No, I will.” They sound as if they have already been married for 30000 years

So much angst. There is a fanfic waiting to be written here where he grabs her, kisses her and they have crazy make up s*x

Xiao Lanhua, as I am rewatching this, my respect for you has grown immensely. She never cowered in front of him, she offered well structured arguments that he couldn’t refute, and she proved to him and his people that she wants to be perceived as an equal to the Moon Supreme, and not a trophy or someone he has to break rules for in order to protect her

Earlier, DFQC took a step back in his character development, regressing to his villainous ways, issuing an order stating that those who will mention the rule about the cave will be killed. But her stance prevents him from becoming the evil, authoritative ruler he once was. (There is also probably a slight fear in the back of his mind that she might not make it out of the cave alive and that would mean that he would die too. However, that is a fear he has to face and trust her)

Paused to admire how beautiful this scene is

You are the best, Xiao Lanhua, and I love you

“You made all the decisions yourself. You did whatever you wanted. You never asked me about my thoughts. But we are going to be husband and wife now. Then things should change. There is no hierarchy between a couple. No matter what happens, we have to face it together. Can you respect that?” I have no words, she is simply amazing

Side rant. Their love is so deep and transcendent because it is based on principles, respect, friendship, communication, not merely in physical attraction. There could never be a better partner for DFQC than Xiao Lanhua. She was the one who helped him heal his feelings, face his demons, get in touch with his authentic self and had the courage to face him as an equal. And in return, he was the one who challenged her to mature, to find her strength, and treat herself with the utmost respect and love she was never given. Side rant over

Xunfeng just happened to have on him the elixir that will prevent DFQC from feeling her suffering

And of course Xunfeng is feeling regrets: No, don’t go into the cave, I only said it so that you would give up. I don’t want you to suffer. I am not the bad guy here. I never meant to cause such trouble, I was just trying to scare you. My brother will never forgive me. I am laughing, Xunfeng, I am laughing so much

I can’t explain why, but I love this scene. Words fail me, I am just feeling emotional

Today was a special day for Sunghoon. It's the man's birthday. Y/n had taken him outside for a walk in an empty park, away from potential victims. The girl needed to keep him away from their home so the family can decorate the living room for his surprise party. The girl truly wanted to surprise him as he had been less violent toward her during her pregnancy. Of course Sunghoon knew it was going to happen, what is he, dumb?

So he had gotten rid of all evidence of torture, murder and locked up the basement completely after cleaning it properly. "Babe wanna head to the diner?" Sunghoon asked as the girl nodded "Yeah the babies have me feeling weird today I don't know why" the girl said as she patted her womb. Sunghoon held her hand, smiling as they slowly walked there. She was pretty far long and he didn’t want to take any chances. “What do my angels feel like eating?” Sunghoon asked as y/n smiled.

“Babies want french fries with mango sorbet and mommy wants a salad~” Y/n said as Sunghoon ruffled her hair, he ordered the food, and ordered himself a sloppy joe, as it was the diner’s special. “This diner is super cute~” y/n said “I know right? Very retro style, I heard it;s been up since the early 1980s” he added ”we totally need to take a selfie and send it to Sunoo” the girl snickered as she pulled out her phone to take a selfie with her darling husband. “Say babieeeees” “Babieeees~” he snickered as she took the photo.

“You know what? We should totally bring our girls here once I give birth~” Y/n said “It can be like our little go to place for fast food since we no longer like our old one~” Sunghoon added with a smile. “I’m so glad you’re taking me out like this for my birthday sweetheart, a day to myself, where I can have you all to myself and I don’t even need to try and make an excuse to keep you with me” Sunghoon said.

Once they had finished their meals, y/n had gotten a text, revealing that the party was ready "Hoonie hoonie lets go homeeee" y/n said as the man snickerred "Already? but I want to-" "Pleaseeeee pretty pleaseeeee?" she pouted as the male pat her head, helping her up as they walked home. "SURPRISE!" he heard the family and friends scream, a sweet smile on his lips as he saw y/n's family, and his friends, even Jay and Jake who we're in a different continent, made it. Sunoo gave Sunghoon a hug "Long time no see bro~" the male smiled.

"Ha- AAAH-" Y/n shouted, as she tried to sing, "Sweetheart are you ok?!" Sunghoon asked as he approached her, the others also turning to her, worried "Y-yes I'm fine- You STAY IN THERE-" she shouted at her womb. This can't be happening. Not today of all days. Sunghoon already had to share his wife with these babies, she can't have him share his birthday too. "Baby what? are you alright?" he asked as y/n faked a smile nodding "All ok- just cramps anyways where were you HAAA- AHHH NO NOT NOW WAIT TILL TOMORROW-" she screamed again as Sunghoon sighed "Sweetheart, why are you trying to hold the babies in?! let me get you to the hospital, rest of you don't worry I'll call you ok?" Sunghoon reassured as he carried her to the car.

Turned out it was actually a false alarm, y/n pouted, as Sunghoon kissed her forehead and drove her to the diner instead. He was still a little confused as to why she tried to hold her babies in. The two sat down as they ordered something to eat. "Wanna talk sweetheart?" he asked as he stared at her, the woman sighed, looking back at him "I just... I felt bad... you already have to share me with two babies and you hate sharing me in general... a-and earlier you were talking about how on you're birthday its your day and you can have me all to yourself... I-I was scared you were going to lose that" y/n admitted.

Sunghoon interrupted her with a loving kiss "The fact that you tried to hold two babies inside you just to protect my feelings proves enough y/n... you love me n I love you, and these babies are like a product of our love. as long as you're with me, im ok." Sunghoon reassured as he smiled at her. "Aww you're so sweet, I'd kiss you right now but I'm pretty sure my water just broke...." Y/n trailed off, teary eyed, as she took deep breaths. "Oh fuck- shit OH NO- WE SHOULD'VE GONE TO THE HOSPITAL-" Sunghoon yelled, realizing a thunderstorm started outside.

Many hours later, at 11pm, y/n was safely in a hospital bed, the two baby girl's in her and, Sunghoon beside her as the family arrived. "Can't believe we conceived our angels at a diner~ now we have a story for them when we have our little family dinners there" y/n smiled as she kissed their foreheads. "There they areee, the new additions to our family~" Mrs Lee smiles "Did you come up with any names yet?" Heeseung asked.

"Why don't we save the naming for another day? we don't need babies named tom and jerry or Disney and Pixar, coz of the anaesthesia" her mother pointed out as y/n stared up at hoon then turned back to her family "Well we had been talking about it for a while and we finally came up with 2 cute names... we think we should name them Avaani and Anaya" she smiled. "The twin who has my jaw and lips is avaani, and the one with hoon's eyes and ears is anaya" she smiled.

Silv's Resolutions 2024

(Yes I'm using the same header twice leave me alone I worked hard on it lol)

Write your RPer Resolutions for 2024! (What are some goals for yourself as a writer? Improve descriptions? Plot with more members? Etc.)

Plan ahead a little better. I’m a very in-the-moment kind of plotter, which works for like day to day stuff, but for bigger plots it’s kind of a pain. I really loved doing Willow Shop, but it was super last minute and I would love to have more time for a plot like that to really come together.

Write at least one resolution, or “goal,” that you have as an RPer for your character(s)

Willow: Be more confident! Willow’s starting to come out of survival mode and her personality is starting to come through more, which I’m so excited to explore. I also want to fully expose her as a Magick and have her stop using her concealment stone. Enough people know and she’s slowly letting more people in that at some point keeping the secret is kind of impossible.

Clarion: Get messy. Clarion so far has been really composed and put together, and I really want to explore more of who she is underneath that. I also want her to become more active in town politically and really throw her weight around, so to speak. She came in too late to really do anything about the Eboshi situation, but I definitely want to get more involved in politics with her.

Write at least one resolution IN CHARACTER for your characters. What do THEY want to accomplish or change in the New Year?

Willow: Pass all her classes, keep working hard, don’t fuck up her friendships, figure out this whole fairy thing???

Clarion: Same as it is every year; protect the Hollow and do the best she can for her fairies.

List one or more characters you have never interacted with that you would like to do so

Maximus - His unintentionally-hilarious-Stick-in-the-Mud personality has captivated me lol

Emira - Willow has had it too good for too long with these Boiling Isles characters lmao, make her cryyyy

Bullseye - I Just Think He’s Neat, and my next character is a Horse Girl so they have so much to bond over lol

Paul - Look he keeps liking Willow’s tweets I need them to meet she needs a mentor with the same fucked up relationship w their magic that she does

Jessie - She and Clarion need to hang out and form a Queens Who Are Too Old For This club lol

Talk a bit about your plotting style – what plots are you most drawn to? Do you prefer to come with a fully-formed idea and plot off that, or throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks?

It honestly depends? I’m a pretty flexible plotter. I do love throwing things at the wall, especially since it gives me a bit of flexibility to add and change things if I feel they’ll fit better. Most of Willow Shop was kind of off the cuff, and as stated above, very last minute. I’m trying to get better about planning out in the long term what arcs my characters are going through instead of just going off of vibes alone.

Talk a bit about character relationships – what relationships are you most drawn to? How do you prefer to approach shipping (if at all!)? What, specifically, are you looking for right now for your character relationships?

Can I just say how delighted I am that Willow has found like her little group of people? I love the Weed Killers and her relationship with each of them is so lovely. I want her to start to branch out more from that little group she feels safe with and start to blossom into the chaotic lil extrovert she was always meant to be lol.

Clarion needs friends. Just in general. Being a 140+ year old monarch is fucking lonely, man, and there’s like one other fairy that’s even close to her age lol. All of our fairies are babieeeees. Also, she needs rivals. Serious or just for the Bit. I think that could be fun.

Oh boy, I love me a good romance. I have Plans for the coming year that I’m so excited for, especially since I haven’t had a proper RP Romance in a *while*. I’m a romantic at heart and I love the pining as much as I love the domestic stuff, and I really love AU shipping bc it just gives the opportunity to explore more beyond the realms of canon! That being said, I tend to avoid break ups when I can because they’re depressing as hell, and as much as I like to torment my characters, I really don’t want to be stuck in that headspace for too long, so I’m usually in it for keeps when it comes to ships unless we go into it together like “yeah they’re not gonna last, but it’s going to be fun!”

Plotting Exercise! Pick one of the resolutions/goals in #3 and plan a rough guideline to how you could accomplish it. Here’s an example.

Wing It Like Witches - Spring Break Edition!

The Boiling Isles comes to Swynlake! Specifically a bunch of uni students come to Swynlake for Spring Break, including the infamous Boscha. They cause General Mayhem all over town.

WILLOW and EILONWY run into Boscha and her friends in town and get into an argument when Boscha starts on Her Bullshit again, and Eilonwy challenges the visiting students to a Grudgby match to get them to back off once and for all. Stakes are if Willow’s team wins, Boscha and Co leave her alone. If Boscha’s team wins, Willow has to return to the Isles for the summer to be Boscha’s personal water girl.

WILLOW and AMITY work together to teach their friends how to play Grudgby for the match and Willow has a panic attack brought on by Boscha’s reappearance and general Grudgby Trauma

JESSICA helps calm Willow down and they talk about being out Magicks that aren’t necessarily liked or approved of in their respective homes

The Weed Killers get LILITH to act as referee for the match, as well as help them make an approximate Grudgby field near Atlantis Lake

WILLOW, AMITY, and EILONWY face off against Boscha and her team in front of the tow, with HUNTER having to sub in after Eilonwy gets injured. Boscha rips off Willow’s concealment stone, exposing her to the town, but Willow then uses her Talent to pull off the Thorn Vault and beat the opposing team.

WILLOW is now an Out Magick in town and does not wear her concealment stone anymore

what’s the best thing about shipping for you?

Gotta be plotting out all the story beats and figuring out where the ship is going, and ESPECIALLY what it brings out of each character. Give me that good development babieeeee

2. what’s the worst thing about shipping for you?

Actually approaching somebody to ship UGH I'm so bad about this, I always worry I'm gonna come off as just being a ship-chaser which is the worst feeling on both sides

this is part of why my rules on my canon blogs are so strict, bc tbh people who look for 'canon' ships and prioritize that over actual writing chemistry annoy me way more than OC blogs doing something similar bc at least they brought something new to the table, y'know? It's also why I generally prefer crossover ships.

3. do you have a pet peeve when it comes to shipping?

See above. Every portrayal of a canon character is different, and you're not gonna get the portrayal you want just by following every muse of the ship you want and forcing their muse into a ship-shaped hole. You gotta TALK about it and actually express what you want. I know it's scary and we all have anxiety, but not doing that just leads to a lot more hurt in the long run. I'm guilty of this too, but I'm trying to be better about it.

kou is super nervous and keeps looking over you when he thinks you aren’t looking like 🥺😊 and you decide to play along and ask him how he’s feeling and if he’s in pain and he shakes his head and goes “‘m okay, you’re really pretty though 🥺😍” kuroo snorts in the front seat and you’re trying rlly hard to not laugh at how cute he is so you take his hand and kou lit rally thinks he’s gonna pass out when you call him handsome and ask him out before kissing his cheek. he starts crying as he says things like “kuroo!!!! the pretty girl is my girlfriend now!! 🥺❤️😭💖💕😭😭🥳”

akaashi you’re already by his side by the time he wakes up but he doesn’t remember jack so he goes “hello, have u seen my girlfriend? she looks just like you. can u tell me if u see her? I would like to see her—she’s my everything 😊🥰” UGGHH KISS HIIMMM

he doesn’t remember who you are until the medication wears off but you manage to convince him that you’re gonna take him to his girlfriend so you can take him home 💀 and he spends the whole car ride really pretty quiet until you ask him why he’s so fidgety and then he softly tells you “i… can’t wait to see my girlfriend 🥺🥰💕 she said we’d go on an ice-cream date after🍦i hope she’s not mad that it’s been so long 🥺❤️💗” AHDHJANAA like a little happy babyyyy 🥺😭

oikawa tooru’s procedure finishes earlier than expected and has a dental hygienist watching over him as they wait for you and for some reason he starts to sing, but it’s really out of tune because of all the cotton in his mouth and the dental hygienist is just standing there, taking it. you can hear him down the hall as you walk into his room and he’s so excited to see you!!! “did you hear me sing for you, babe? i didn’t want you to get lost in this maze 🥺🥰” “yes, i did, tooru, tysm you don’t have to sing anymore 😊😇💕”

tries to pull you into his lap as the dentist goes through the aftercare procedures and whines “pleasssseeeee, it huuurrrrrttttts i just want cuddddlllleesssss 😭☹️🥺💕” you opt to sit on the edge of the chair as he buries his head in your back 🥰

iwaizumi YOU try to flirt with hajime because he doesn’t remember that you’re his girlfriend and he’s all like stop!!! i have a girlfriend! 😡 AHAHA so you decide to ask him about his lovely girlfriend and he gets the softest smile on his face omggg and he starts going on about how hardworking you are ❤️, determined 💘, beautiful 💖, how nice you smell 😳

when you tell him its you he doesn’t believe you!!! like stop u r trying too hard, stranger!!! 😠 It’s not until you bring up a photo of yourselves and stick it next to your face does he go all soft again like babe i missed you 🥺 there was this weirdo trying to flirt with me, i’m so glad you’re here 🥰 and you tell him that the weirdo was you and he’s like “no, you’re better than that” LMFAAOO THANKS HAJIME 😭

matsukawa his mom is there to pick the two of you up and he’s holding your hand as he turns to you, super concerned and goes “babe, we forgot my teeth 😞” HWJJCKWJSJEF 💀 he’s all pouty and its sooooooo cute LMFAO WHAT DID HE THINK A REMOVAL WAS??? but you play it cool and squeeze his hand and say “i didnt forget you though 😊” he nods like a little kid and says “yeah” and tries to pull you into his lap so that you can cuddle but his mom is right there and you’re tryna be a good passenger and stop him from unbuckling your seatbelt: issei, we can cuddle when we get home!!!!

this giant dude just looks at you all 🥺 and BEGS like “babe please, just a little, i just want to hold you 🥺💕” he tries to guilt trip you like “c’mon, babe, you forgot my teeth” 😭😭😭 STFU u somehow make it back to his place and he tackles you into the couch and promptly falls asleep in 2 minutes flat 😴 his mom thinks its hilarious and thanks u for taking care of him ☺️❤️

oh em gee its been forever!! hi!! chin stokes lip bites winky face how have you been bestie? its been a while i missed talking to you T_T during the summer my mental health became really bad so it was difficult to talk but a few weeks ago i actually did something new i joined the color guard club at my school!! if you don't know what it is its kind of like dance but with a 6ft flag in a bare bones sense i have choreographed moves with the flag to a song played by my schools marching band i joined later than it actually started so i'm a big work in progress ughhh its a large responsibility n i already went through a breakdown about being terrible but i'm okay and over it now i miss having more free time tho i've been slacking on genshin stupid resin cap grrr hmmm besides that today was my first day of school! (if you're curious cg starts near the end of summer) its kinda icky but its nice seeing my friends and theres been more importance put on mental health we got this new program that allows us to have a free class to relax on some days and learn about more emotional things on the other days besides that i went back to this show i liked as a kid because inner child reasons and i'm so upset!! my favorite character reminds me alot of kaeya!! only with a slight mix of thoma tho,,, hes a guard, has a connection to a shady evil demention and his personality is so heart eyes ♡_♡ but its so sick because i have kept the same type for years ahhh i talked for so long but its a while and i wanted to update you with my everything- 🍰

I had this really cute dream about JK last night and I just have to share. So I was waitung at a train station with the rest of my high school class and JK was a part of it (idk why we were in high school cause we're both 23) and he saw that my bagpack was heavy so he carried it for me but then after the train ride which we spent exchanging jokes and just talking about everything I felt bad that he was still carrying it so I took it back and he was all pouty and sulky about it. And the cutest part of the dream was by the end we were really close and our hands brushed. We were both blushy and smiling and he intertwined our finger. Now I was so happy and wanted to see what would happen next cause he was looking at me with so much love and excitement yet so soft but then my sister started snoring so lout she woke me up🤦‍♀️

It's a Lovely Late Morning in the Smash Mansion and the ladies, the Certified Moms, are all attending the Mother's Day Celebration Party at the Conference Room, organized and hosted by their babies.

They were all laughing, socializing with one another in their reserved seats while enjoying their meals cooked and prepare by the Waddle Dees and their skills of Culinary Arts. All things considered, the party was going pretty causal and normal for the most part, when suddenly.....

How has your day been?

my day has been good so far (i cleaned my house and had a great meal) i am so grateful that i get to say this after the terrible week i’ve had work-wise. i’ve been drowning in spreadsheets and it was getting increasingly difficult for me to be productive and get out of the rut. i didn’t have a plan to get through the doubled work load (my colleague is not of much help due to certain wfh constraints) which caused my brain to shut down a lot. but i managed to power through this overwhelming anxiety and i can safely say that i’m in a much better position now than i was at the start of the week. yay!! i still have to work over this weekend but at least i can afford a nap in the afternoons :)))
