someone on discord called cnu a loyal fool (affectionate) for renewing with wm lol. when they renewed in 2018 i also got the impression he stayed out of loyalty to wm (did he say something?). wm could have done so much more for him. but we do know a solo album has been in the works for a while, at least. i loved his musical era too, why hasn't he done more? i hope he's content with where he is, or has negotiated better terms this time around. do we know how long he's renewed for?
Nope, nothing released on how long the renewal is for. I'd assume it has to at least be for a year though, minimum. Likely 1 (or 2) years given most renewal contracts... T_T
Blegh Idk, is it loyalty? Maybe. Yeah, CNU initially (I wanna say for their D+Documentary??) mentioned about having like, loyalty or 'trust' in renewing with WM or something. But of course, fast forward two years following that and they got RBW technically at the reigns ever since. So idk if I'd say that loyalty or trust could still be there, or at least to the same level.
Cause why not release his solo music then, that he teased months ago?? What's holding him back? Is it him just not wanting to release it? If so, then why? That makes me suspicious of his trust/faith in the company. Or, is it WM/RBW just getting in the way? (which wouldn't be new at least for WM-- remember, CNU and even Jinyoung would complain years ago that they always had new music ready to go, and that they wanted to comeback always sooner than what WM provided). Again, this also brings us right back around to why would he want to renew then? It seemed like he's almost... mindfully choosing not to be super active in other projects, whether it be a solo release, musical, regular tv/radio appearances (no, I don't count him filling in for Gongchan lol) etc. That's why I really thought he was just biding his time until he could be free tbh.
Which was why I'm like, ok, maybe because of Sandeul and Gongchan and their contracts not ending until much later is the reason?? Plausible, I suppose. Honestly speaking, CNU isn't really a hot commodity right now. I also don't think, unless he did some serious work himself on his own time, he'd have other agencies and companies approaching him for better contracts. Which sucks, but it really is just the feeling I have. So I think it's partially a... forced loyalty until Sandeul and/or Gongchan decide what they wanna do, and partially a 'welp, there really isn't much of another option'.

the way i see it, colin has three options for handling the repercussions of kissing michael on the pitch in front of everyone:
gatekeep: by some miracle no one caught the kiss on camera so colin's sexuality is kept between him and any fans who happened to be on the pitch near him. the safest option.
girlboss: keeley gets the pr challenge of a lifetime handling the story of the first active premier league player to come out as gay. rebecca is tall and powerful and intimidating in the press room making it clear that richmond stands behind colin one thousand percent. the most realistic option.
gaslight: straight-up blatantly lying. not because he's ashamed or because he thinks he can actually convince anyone that the kiss didn't happen, but just because he refuses to let it be a big deal. acts like he has no idea what anyone is talking about if asked anything related to his sexuality. he doesn't claim to be straight, mind you, he just pretends to be extremely confused about why they're asking because he never kissed anyone in the middle of a football pitch at the end of an internationally-televised game? when presented with photo and video proof of the kiss he says that was some other richmond player named hughes who wears a number 12 jersey. you don't know him, he goes to another school. the funniest option.

"new friend?"
Another day in neighborhood, another troublemaker in Howdy's bugdega
Explaining that he has a whole stack, stash and a box of things to do, "uncle Howdy" tells Lilly to go find someone else to play with, giving a couple of beloved by her tangerines, to sweeten the situation at least a bit.
Throwing out the peels Lilly finds something bizarre- more like someone??
They went to visit frogs later :]
That frog ribbited something too personal 😔😔
Tiger cubs tend to bite others while playing, so does Lilly! (Nobody can escape the lil ankle biter!! Muhaha!!)
Her clown nose honks if you press on it! :]
so silly!!!! Gahhhh!!!! He better watch out for the claws though-
Being silly whole day is a hard job to do so they're taking a nap😔😔
Goofy doodle of "the mandatory older sibling report in the end of the day" lmao (Sunny would think Robbie is just one of the countless itty bitty bugs Lilly befriends)
Robbie belongs to @clownsuu ! >:^]

Those beautiful cerulean blue hues still sparkled as the light down on them.
But the spark of life was gone. They were dull. Lifeless. Emotionless. You never saw them like this before.
You could feel the anxiety swallowing you whole. If someone looked closely, they can see your legs trembling slightly. The two boys in front of you were having a brief conversation but you couldn’t hear it.
You couldn’t hear anything over the loud sounds of your heart rate picking up at a rapid pace. You couldn’t even hear the round of applause the strangers that crowded around the white hair teenager who held the lifeless body like he did the first time meeting her.
They were clapping for Satoru. Fucking clapping.
You just stared at the crowd in disbelief. What kind of people would approve of this? What kind of people are happy over this? The death of a young girl.
A young girl you considered your friend.
Monsters...monsters...
“Suguru...should we kill these guys? The way I am right now I doubt I’d feel anything.” His voice was hoarse. But what made your heart ache was hearing no emotion in his tone. It matched his stare.
Dull. Lifeless. Emotionless.
Your eyes went over to Suguru. His back was faced to Satoru but you saw his almond shaped eyes were as wide as they can be but soon he pulled himself back together. He always does. He has too.
“No. There’s no point. It’ll be dissolved soon enough.” His voice mimic the tone Satoru set. He began to walk towards the door to get out of there. He was sick of the clapping and the smell of the dried blood that lingeried. He was sick of this. He was sick of this life. He was sick of death. He was sick of curses.
“No point, huh? Does there really need to be any point to it?” Satoru asked or stated. You couldn’t really tell. You went to follow behind Suguru like a lost puppy but Satoru called out your name.
“Name...”
"Y-yes...Satoru?" your gentle voice trembled.
"What do you think we should do?" Satoru asked you. His eyes didn’t look at you. They just looked straight ahead into nothing. Suguru's eyes went over to you almost forgetting you were even there.
Your eyes was puffy and red from crying. You were the emotional one out of the three. That's why Satoru would tease you about being weak. You were a crybaby. But Suguru didn't see an issue with it, he likes you like this. So did Satoru but he wouldn't openly admit it. You reminded him about those certain emotions he swore he couldn’t feel anymore.
"Name...what should we do?" Suguru also asked willing to do anything you said. The self proclaimed brains of this trio couldn’t think straight or logically. So it was up to you.
The boys looked over at you for an answer. An answer you didn't have. This wasn't fair. These higher ups using you children. Not caring if you killed one another or died in front of each other. You loved your best friends. Especially Satoru and Suguru, willing to do anything to protect them. Even Riko. They were the only family you have.
But would the higher ups mourn you?
Would the higher ups sink into a dark hole of depression?
Would the higher ups get revenge on you?
Or would they replace you like a piece of livestock.
They would probably replace you in a matter of days.
They probably would assign Satoru and Suguru a mission while your ashes are still warm.
Satoru and Suguru.
The thought of leaving them behind made you feel sick at the pit of your stomach. How would Satoru handle it? You knew Suguru would break in a matter of days. He bottles so much inside of him it would just burst out. Would they keep it together if you were to die? Or would they lose it themselves.
You know you would lose it if either of them or both of them were to die. Leaving you all alone. To defend yourself. To love yourself. You couldn’t imagine a world without them. The three of you were glued to each other, couldn’t really function without the other.
You could feel the anger replacing the fear and anxiety. On the inside your morals and humanity was being teared apart, stripped away from you the more you stared at Riko's lifeless body in Satoru's arms covered by a thin white cloth.
"Name..." Suguru called out to you once more. There wasn’t much time to make a decision.
"Kill them," you finally answered losing all emotions you had that day, "kill them all."
That's all Satoru needed to hear. His lips formed a wicked grin as Suguru silently summoned the rainbow dragon. You stood watched the blood being splattered on the walls and floors. The screams made you smile like that day on the beach with your best friends.
That’s where your mind was.
The day on the beach with Riko and Satoru laughing at the sea cucumber while you, Suguru, and Misato were on the beach towels just watching them with smile of your faces.

C2 Spoilers
it drives me NUTS when people say that Taliesin and Matt decided together backstage to kill off Molly. It makes 0 sense and it's ??? just such an unnecessary rumor to spread. People on reddit often spout it like it's just a known fact. Like, as if Taliesin didn't famously complain about having to pull all nighters over a busy weekend to roll and conceptualize a new character cuz he had ZERO backup. As if Molly didn't JUST have a huge lore drop and was clearly building to be a major focus of the next branch of the story. As if Matt didn't have LOADS of lore and planning already done that he had to to redo and reconfigure to fit with the Tomb Takers going and exhuming Molly to continue their plans. Matt said he had this whole thing where Lucien was gonna show up in a different body and hunt down the M9 to kill Molly and take his old body back. He SAID that!
Idk why this drives me nuts. It just feels... almost disrespectful. Like. Y'all. Taliesin isn't a baby. He fucked up. It's okay. He made a dumb choice in the heat of the battle and doubled down and it got his character killed. Things escalated and there wasn't a healer and it's JUST as simple as that. Stop making shit up to justify something that only SEEMS LIKE IT'S ORDAINED because these people are talented story tellers. Blowing all the work they did to reconfigure the story and just HAND WAVING and being like "they planned it ahead of time" is just rude. If it all seems preplanned it's cuz Matt busted his patootie off and reweaved a frayed tapestry into a beautiful work. Happy accidents and all that. CMON.
