#this is from that The Devil goes Down on Georgia post

Note
Sorry to resurrect a months-old post, but in a post you replied to about what The Devil Went Down to Georgia is about, you mentioned one of the songs Johnny played as "Daddy Cut Her Bill Off"; I cannot find a SINGLE reference to that song anywhere except on tumblr, from your post alone. What song were you referring to?
Interesting that that name for the song doesn’t show up anywhere online - it’s what I’ve always heard it called! Probably something to do with regional differences between folk song lyrics - other versions may not feature the bird mutilation plotline that I’m familiar with 🤣
Anyways, it’s an old fiddling/square dancing song that’s usually sung by children. If I was to guess, it was probably originally the children’s dancing verse of the song Skip to My Lou (as it has the same tune, and uses many of the same words), but it was eventually separated out into its own song.
To my memory, Daddy Cut Her Bill Off goes like this:
(to the tune of “Skip to My Lou”)
Chicken in the bread pan / Pickin out dough x3
The bread can’t grow, my darling
Fly's in the buttermilk / shoo fly, shoo! x3
The milk turned blue, my darling
Granny, does your dog bite? / No, child, no. X3
He runs too slow, my darling
Granny, does your hen peck? / No, child, no. X3
A tale of woe, my darling
Daddy cut her bill off / Long time ago X3
She cannot crow, my darling
But Granny, will your fiddle play? / Yes, child, yes. x3
It goes fast and slow, my darling
And Granny will your feet dance? / Yes, child, yes. X3
They’ll dance all night, my darling.
(Side note: Skip to My Lou has so many different regional variations and verses that there was a whole Bugs Bunny short making fun of that fact in 1950)

good [insert time of day here] i realised i never thought to ask you amid my delight of you being the most interactive follower i have that isnt an irl friend do YOU have ocs or blorbos. i wish to know. for reasons.
OH hello yes thank you for asking!!! I have several OCs but most of the time I simply Do Not Explain on here; I have lots of ideas and doodles but I make it mostly for myself and don't think to share — doesn't mean I don't want to tho! exhibit A: this absolutely massive post I'm about to make lmao. putting it under a read more bc Oh Boy, the floodgates have been opened
most of my OCs are for two different projects I have: The Visitors and my D&D Dark Star Campaign.
The Visitors is just a lil worldbuilding project I've been chewing on for.... oh wow, over a decade at this point??? I love all the OCs I have in there very very much, but they're definitely never intended to go in an actual story, I just enjoy the speculative biology and character / world building process.
Val is one of my oldest OCs, and she's changed SO MUCH over the years! nowadays, she's a sort of insect/dinosaur mashup alien who uses gravity warping magic and a very large axe to hunt demons. a huge issue for magic users of her species is keeping cool, as magic generates heat and can literally cook you from the inside out, so you'll notice the multiple vent-like spiracles across her body for this purpose. she was born blind and so relies heavily on her best friend, Django, to be her eyes and keep her safe. fortunately, Django has Too Many Eyes. he's a dragon genetically engineered by those in Val's species to be the perfect vessel for storing and releasing massive amounts of mirror-based magic. this kind of magic gives him many abilities, including seeing around corners, creating illusions, or multiplying attacks when applied in different ways, and he acts as Val's seeing-eye dragon. in battle, she likes to get up in the action while he holds back and gives her cues on what's happening, only jumping in himself if she's in major trouble. she's very friendly and excitable, and loves to get into the culture of whatever planet they're visiting, while he's more interested in observing and snooping. there's a lot of espionage and hijinks.
these are some of my most recent sketches of them, tho I'm sure the designs will changes in the future. specific colors don't matter at all, it's all about vibes! not pictured in the halfway colored one is Val's big iridescent black cape thing that has a slit down the middle for her rigid tail, nor her weird arms since I wanted to figure out where the torso vents could go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Duke is another Visitor who visits planets and solves problems, but his path to get there was a whole lot different! I made him up as a coping mechanism when I was 12, and I'm still very fond of him.
he started life as a human video game speedrunner and modder prodigy. in a "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" situation, a devil (very distinct from demons!) struck a deal with him, challenging his gaming abilities with his soul as the stakes. he won despite the devil's cheating, but that's where the resemblance to the song ends. in this world, a devil winning your soul allows them to fuse with you and gain total control over your body, mind, and actions; but if YOU win, the control is reversed! and like any 14 year old who suddenly has the power to rival minor gods and a chaotic creature living in their head.... he goes off the rails for a while. Val and Django eventually find him and help him cope. his powers include electricity, glitching reality, flailing his glaive around, and being a menace to evil overlords.
you can't see it very well in this picture, but his eyes and the segments between his tail glow lime green! I'm not a fan of drawing clothes, but in my head he's relatively fashionable for a teenager and refuses to wear anything other than black. also, he decided to tell me he was trans a couple years ago, thanks for letting me know buddy 😂
Tumblr media
my other project does actually get to see the light of day, if very slowly — I'm running a homebrew D&D campaign for my irl friends called the Dark Star Campaign! none of em use tumblr so WHEEEE I get to post all the spoilers I want! there's a kinda staggering amount of lore behind it and a ton of minor OCs, but the two I rotate in my head the most are Anya the Timekeeper and The Master, aka Armageddon.
Anya the Timekeeper is a chronomancy lich from an alternate universe! she used to help Armageddon travel the multiverse and gain power, but she's decided she's tired of being evil, and now hides in a mansion on a tropical island where she breeds dinosaurs for fun. though she's now very determined to help the party, they'll eventually have to kill her past self to prevent a paradox. her familiar is a little archaeopteryx named Trix who steals hats!
Tumblr media
(I commissioned this art from @/goodlouse a while ago! highly recommend checking out his blog!!)
Armageddon is the BBEG and he's SO EVIL and SO MUCH FUN. he's an ancient amethyst dragon who, up until a while before the campaign's beginning, was steadily finding alternate universe versions of himself, killing them, and eating their souls to gain Unlimited Power™. unfortunately, his partner in time (hah) Anya told him to fuck off, so the quest for Unlimited Power™ has been kinda slow lately. fortunately, a D&D campaign started, and he cheated his way into existing at the players' table as The Master! my players can ask to talk to him sometimes, and I'll put on a mask of his head I made specifically for this purpose — very useful for not breaking character when the character is supposed to literally be the one sitting at the table talking to the players. I don't try to hide the fact that he's evil and they all know it, the fun is in giving them little hints and tidbits of lore to munch on. right now he's being very docile and helpful but things will get very very interesting eventually as more of his nature and plan is revealed..... =)
I'm still playing around with what he looks like as The Master, but I really like this recent design I did. his eye glows dark and menacing. I haven't found a design for his dragon form I'm really pleased with yet tho :/
Tumblr media
okay wow thanks again for the ask, I have many many ideas in my head and it felt pretty nice to get em out!!

Tamika Scott Drops Receipts On $30K Theft Claim, Says Sister LaTocha Threatened To Leak Sex Tape [Photo + Video]
March 30, 2023 7:37 AM PST
Tumblr media
Tamika Scott is speaking her truth!
via: Vibe
Tamika Scott has responded to sister and Xscape groupmate LaTocha Scott’s denial of stealing $30K in royalties from her with the help of husband, Rocky Bivens.
In a video posted to her YouTube channel Wednesday, Tamika takes issue with LaTocha labeling her a liar due to her past issues with groupmate Kandi Burruss, as she admittedly lied on the songwriter, but claims she only did so at the time to protect her sister.
“I said the things I said about Kandi to protect her,” Tamika claims. “She was calling me crying on the phone, talking about a book Jermaine wrote, crying, saying Kandi said she broke up the group, so I went to defend my sister and I said a whole bunch of things about Kandi, and I apologized, alright? So now, she wants to hold that over my head that I’m lying about the money that was stolen from me, my royalties that were stolen from me. And she wants an apology.”
She goes on to say she’ll never apologize and doesn’t want an apology from her sister either, but does believe the gospel artist needs to “go somewhere and repent and ask God to forgive you and your husband, who’s out here being triflin’, lying on me and my other group members, sending threat text messages and then turning around and do a video saying the same thing that’s in the threat text.”
After declaring LaTocha and Rocky the “simplest criminals in the world,” Tamika shares a screenshot of a text she believes was sent from the couple, threatening to release a sex tape of her and accusing her of sending nudes to Rocky. It also featured accusations aimed at Kandi and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, as well as Kandi’s husband Todd Tucker, according to Scott.
Tumblr media
“I might even share the video where she’s saying things that’s in the text,” she added before inserting a clip of Rocky gossiping to Tasha K about the group and Tucker.
“He’s a liar, he’s the devil, he’s evil,” Tamika declared once back onscreen, adding that she often sided with family over truth because she wanted to be loved by them and didn’t want to be considered an “outcast.”
“So, of course, I let things ride, but to have that thrown back in my face, my loyalty to my family, and for you to say I’m a liar, ya’ll are out here trying to extort me and you’re sitting here threatening me.”
Scott then doubles-down on her accusations of the couple stealing $30K in royalties from her, inserting a clip of Tiny’s mother explaining how she signed the group up to receive payment via Sound Exchange. According to Ms. Dianne, checks were to be sent to Tamika in New York. After Kandi, Tiny and LaTocha received their payments, Tamika and Ms. Dianne contacted Sound Exchange to see why she hadn’t received hers.
While speaking with the rep, they discovered that her paperwork had been changed and her money was being sent to Fayetteville, Ga. They were then sent copies of the checks and told an Edward Bivens — Rocky’s legal name — cashed them. She added that the rep said LaTocha claimed to be her manager and sent in a copy of Tamika’s passport for proof of identification. Finally, the rep revealed that prosecuting the couple would be the only way to get her money back.
“I love Tocha still, I love her, and I would never lie on none of ya’ll. I love ya’ll, ya’ll my babies,” Ms. Dianne concluded.
Tamika then shares screenshots of paperwork where her New York address was changed to the couple’s Georgia address. She also claims the signatures provided were forged. “I’m not talking about this anymore after this, now the world knows that you are a liar…that’s doing a gospel album…go ahead, leak the tape that you said that you lost, go ahead, embarrass your niece…go ahead, and watch what God does. God don’t play about me.”

Preaching a Gospel of Conspiratorial Politics
more from the Baptist pastors who head and write for Word & Way...

Preaching a Gospel of Conspiratorial Politics
The senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, is upset. Rev. Anthony George complained during his sermon Sunday (Oct. 23) that someone publicized what he said during a prayer event earlier this month with U.S. Senate hopeful Herschel Walker. That someone was me.
On the morning after allegations emerged that Walker paid for a girlfriend’s abortion, George emceed a prayer event for Walker at First Baptist. For George, the allegations were just an attack by Satan. We know that because while First Baptist staff barred reporters from entering the building, I found videos and broke the news about what George and Walker said behind closed doors. Although a staffer said they would give George my request for comment, he never responded. Now George thinks my reporting is also the work of the devil.
“One of the things that people will do to you — and Satan will use people to do to you — is to try to make you afraid of following God,” George preached on Sunday. “I had this happen just a few weeks ago. Had a little prayer meeting here, said it was going to be private [with] somebody seeking office.”
“The thing went public, people posted it, and I’m telling you I got all kinds of hatred and animosity coming at me on social media,” he added before turning his fire on who publicized his comments. “You cannot be intimidated by adversaries. And sadly, your biggest adversaries in the will of God are not even pagans, they are liberal Baptists — which may be pagan. But Im telling you: There are wolves in sheep’s clothing out there. So, this thing about being in the will of God, it is not for pansies, it is not for sissies, it is not for the faint of heart.”
None of this is too unusual for a George sermon (except the part attacking dissenting Baptists like me). Satan is nearly omnipresent in George’s sermons as he warns constantly about the attacks of the devil on himself and First Baptist. And he regularly peppers his sermons with political rants, conspiratorial claims, and warnings about alleged persecution of Christians. At times his messages sound a bit like a cable news show with some Bible verses and prayers instead of commercial breaks.
While numerous media outlets reported on George after the Walker prayer event, the routine politicking from the pulpit goes virtually ignored. Yet, his exhortations each Sunday and Wednesday work to disciple thousands with a partisan gospel.
Such MAGAchurch preaching occurs in sanctuaries across the country. But the prominence of First Baptist in Atlanta and his involvement in an important Senate campaign makes George a particularly important case study. So, in this issue of A Public Witness, I introduce you to George and his sermons before considering what this means for the witness of American Christianity today.
More at link...including this gem:
George became senior pastor of First Baptist during COVID — with the church empty because of the virus. And for George, the pandemic was a Chinese weapon created in a lab and purposely released and then used by socialists in the U.S. to shut down churches and try to get people to take a dangerous vaccine. To borrow from the biblical proverb, as a dog returns to its vomit, George repeats these arguments over and over in his sermons.

Some fun facts about my au
-During the first Halloween the hattercrow kids were dressed up and pig onesies
-the only reason why Michael  made that town I talked about in his introduction post, is because  he likes the feeling of ruling over people but he literally cannot be king anymore cuz the people of his home Dimension don't trust him or his family to rule over them ever since his dad was King and  committed all those atrocities,  not that he wants to be king, the reason for that being there are just  so many things his father instated into the kingdom that's really hard to get rid of them, so we decided to just hand over the kingdom to a new regime
- Michael has a snake tattoo that goes from his tailbone and splits into two spirals down both of his arms
- the name of Michael snake tail is periwinkle, that's also the color purple it is
-Michael once ran for mayor in his attempt to spread, the Infectious Joy he cultivated in that little Alabama town, he caught pretty far but eventually Batman made him drop out of the race
-Michael wants took control of the Arkham PA system, to play The Devil Went Down to Georgia for 2 hours after we learn that Jonathan was really good on the fiddle, eventually the gods got into the office and threw him back into his cell
-You know that one cat scene from Adventure Time, the first time Damien met Michael that entire scene played out word for word
-Jarvis considers three people to be the Cheshire Cat, Michael, the music Meister, and the creeper, as circumstances find it all three of them actually know each other
-One of the downsides of being a half cat, Michael has learned is that he's very susceptible to the laser thing, therefore he has sworn off using lasers in any of his schemes
-Mike ones to try catnip, the effects would basically like weed on a person, which ended in him  eating two birds, and one especially big rat
- Jabbar(Lenoir's pet super dog) can smell the cat on Michael and weenie doesn't like him, for that matter no dogs like Michael, this has been his downfall since Ace the bat Hound can also smell the cat on him and  can easily find him if he's trying to hide, when Batman we realize this he now takes a case on every mission that involves stopping Michael
- Dogs are one of the only things Michael is scared of, the other thing Michael was scared of his ending up like his father, he's scared of it so much that he's made a laundry list of contingency plans just in case this event  does happen, most end in his death

ok but like i adore all your ocs!! i love the amount of characterization you put into all if them and i see that in ur art. what are some of them like??
Tumblr media
Hey so this is basically my favourite ask EVER so forgive me if it’s a little long!!!! i LOVE talking about these guys and i’m always super happy to share more about them! it means so much that you asked! <3
I figured for this reply I’ll focus on the three characters I draw and post about most! they’re all from dungeons and dragons campaigns :P
so first up is SAGA! she’s a sea elf and a pirate. while unbeatable in a duel or fight, she’s much less precise when dealing with people, especially those she is still getting to know. if swords can’t fix a problem, she’ll probably just try to make terrible pirate jokes at it until it goes away or solve it in some horribly nonsensical way that ends up making the whole thing worse. saga fully buys into the happy-go-lucky yet cutthroat lifestyle of a pirate, which is great and fun until serious decisions need to be made. she has a huge heart, but action is definitely her strong suit.
Tumblr media
next up is DELILAH! <3 delilah is the take-no-prisoners mayor of a seaside port town known as newport city. delilah is tough as nails and wicked smart, which makes her absolutely lethal and someone you do NOT want to cross. somehow, by some miracle, saga managed to worm her way into delilah’s heart, a place so highly guarded that maximum security prisons would be jealous. delilah is incredibly protective of three things: her career, her city, and (depending on which part of the story we’re talking about) her girlfriend. on the surface, she’s a perfectly composed and tactical politican, but underneath she’s an absolute bundle of anxieties and VERY dubious morals. also a massive nerd.
Tumblr media
and last but not least, JOHNNY! johnny’s my newest d&d character. they’re a warlock who made a deal with the devil to exchange their soul for a magic fiddle (yes, johnny’s whole character is a spoof of “the devil went down to georgia”). after a lifetime spent as the town hell-raiser, johnny’s never been certain of anything in their whole life except one fact: that they wants to be the greatest musician of all time. and apparently because of this, a fiddle for an eternal soul seemed like a fair deal. unfortunately, johnny didn’t exactly predict the terrible side effects of making a deal with a literal fiend, of which there are numerous. but on the bright side, they’ve got cool powers now! :D

Hey Valaks! I love your blog and your writing!
Please could you do 1, 10 and 18 for the writing asks?? 🌺
Thank you for the ask! I have added a cut to hopefully not be that person clogging up the feed XD
1. Tell us about your current project(s) – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?
I have a few collabs outstanding like Gemini and a Kabir/Alex sequel to Reunion (It’s rated T at the most so still kid friendly) with Lupin and Devil Went Down to Georgia with Galimau. My utter love for both of my collab partners for pulling me through at a time when I’ve been really struggling. I have a WIPs List but I’ll confess to not having touched most of them in quite sometime (partly from life, partly because I’m not sure how interesting they’d be to anyone else other than me which influences my writing more than I would like to admit):
Good Intentions: Smithers never thought he’d be anyone’s moral compass, he was no angel to sit in anyone’s shoulder but trying to keep Alex Rider from following in the ruthless footsteps of his father or worse his former handler, Alan Blunt is as close to hell as he can imagine. (Wherein Alex becomes head of MI6 we watch his morality slip away form the eyes of an increasingly frustrated and heartbroken Smithers - it all culminates when Alex uses a child “just as an informant, simple information gathering” but hidden behind the charming smile of John Rider and the brutal coldness of Alan Blunt’s words is Alex Rider dying as he says them (Smithers just hopes there’s still a part of the boy he once knew in there to mourn)
Walk the Line: Alex thought he was done with SCORPIA. But they kept creeping back into his life in the most unexpected of ways. He thought he could at least count on it being on the other side until he gets teamed up with Walker, his former classmate and current CIA spy. Unfortunately he still hasn’t been able to figure out whose side Walker is really on - attempted deep cover op like his dad, repatriated rogue spy back on the “good” side, or SCORPIA double agent? He doesn’t know but at least he’s nice....in that obnoxious American way.
Temperamental: (Sequel to Sentimental which isn’t all that popular and you would need to read it for the sequel but basically amnesiac Yassen whose memories stop pre John’s betrayal set during the Stormbreaker mission and features him trying to come to grips with the use of chemical weapons against children and how to handle Alex once he snaps back to reality which is where this starts) Yassen had promised Alex Rider that he would be safe from the world of spying but fate had other ideas. In the days after Sarov’s failed plan, Yassen scrambles to find where MI6 have hidden his wayward charge without drawing Rothman’s attention. A request from one of their existing clients to look into suspicious activity at his son’s former school prompts Yassen to investigate under the guise of offering security. He should have known where there was trouble there would be Alex.
10. How would you describe your writing process?
Lordy do I ever not have a good answer for this. Typically it involves an idea hitting me and then the determination: would this idea work better as a short to post on tumblr (because the set up would take away the tension or would require a multi chapter which is not really my strength), as a prompt to lob out into the ether for someone better and brighter to touch on, or a fic. Once fic is decided I determine whose perspective the fic would be the most interesting from either because it would create the most tension or their internal monologue/background knowledge would add the most to it. Then the summary is written and a title is chosen. If it’s something I’m really passionate about and I already have it in my head I tend to write it all in one go, if there’s more I need to chew on then it’s a series of dates with the Evil Writing App. The final determination is whether it’s good enough for Valaks or if it gets sent to an alt account.
18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.
Allegedly. I’ll try to go in order of posting -
Ruthless has a sequel where Alex just goes *quiet* once the initial dust as settled it’s unnerving to everyone because they’re not used to having to wonder just what Alex is thinking, at least not behind closed doors but what happened isn’t exactly something that can be recovered from easily, not when Alex isn’t sure who all’s in on it no matter what they’ve told him. Failure is the AU where I considered what would happen to Alex to make him want to torture.
Alibi was originally going to have Yassen show up in the end but I found it far more fascinating if MI6 was just testing Alex so out went Yassen and in went Ben. The sequel to it was torn apart and turned into Warm Reception because I wanted to trope flip SCORPIA comes to Brooklands and decided that it was more logical to have a small fight in Mrs. Bedfordshire’s lobby than anywhere else and I wanted to explore some side characters instead of Ben.
Providence’s sequel thoughts ended up inspiring Gentleman’s Agreement but I did write a small short for it “Yassen and Alex encounter each other on mission. Surprisingly they are working to mostly the same goal - Yassen needs to kill the millionaire who Alex needs to get information from. “I suppose I could answer some questions for you, Sasha. /In Russian/“ “Is now really the time for a language lesson?” he ground out in frustration but the man pointedly ignored him “/Fine but I don’t know some of the words/“ “/Then there is no better way to learn/“
I mentioned the Sentimental sequel but changing Sarov to come first and probable for almost a month before Yassen figures out he’s missing made the most sense. It was also a bit of fun at the Yassen would absolutely take Alex away from MI6....just to throw him in a school and throw away the key. Almost had him send him to Point Blanc but decided that wouldn’t quite fit all that well and wouldn’t be as interesting as if Alex had already gotten his feet back under him with MI6 and now sees that Yassen was right that MI6 would just use him until he’s dead but that doesn’t mean Alex wants to be anywhere near Yassen. Julia Rothman might have other ideas when she finds out what her newest second in command is hiding.
Gentleman’s Agreement.....there’s a lot of thoughts on Sequels and AUs, a lot of them have been written by better people, but that fic was written in 45 minutes so there wasn’t much time to recharacterize or change scenes. It did get Turncoat aka the Alex saves Yassen fic I wanted so badly.
Blood Brothers is a fic I really worked hard on considering how John would feel about his son being thrown into SCORPIA assuming Alex was of age. A rocky marriage was characterization that didn’t quite fit what I imagined would have happened but did fit the story so it stayed in. It was a fic that was supposed to get expanded on - the competition between Hunter and Yassen and Nile and Alex who is desperate to beat his Dad and his “apprentice”. I think two teenagers thrown against each other with a bit of a bone to pick, especially Yassen and Alex who can both hold a grudge even if one runs hot and the other runs cold, would have been compelling and a little fun but the premise and specifically John’s characterization doesn’t quite work out to me.
Found and Legends both have their plotting done but it’ll never see the light of day
Little Moments and Sweetest Thing were my guilty pleasure writing pieces for a while and I have about 1000 DMs of scenes for both of them that are lost to the sands of time and an embarrassing amount of self indulgence
Mates has a follow up ending for those who needed resolution in the comments of it. I’m not sure I did a good job of showing that Tom was in a semi abusive relationship since a lot of people seemed to blame him for him and Alex’s breakup. Most of my headcanons for how their relationship goes have them splitting much sooner just because of Tom’s own home life and either being unable to relate/talk to Alex and drifting away because his Mom throwing a plate at his head isn’t being hung over crocodiles but that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt or because Alex is just too dangerous/jumpy to be thrown back into a school environment and lashes out even unintentionally especially not under the pressure of being seen as a failure. School is also a barometer of just how much he’s lost of himself and his childhood, bonus points for Alex being completely upfront with Tom about everything he’s done
In My Sights has an AU where this is all post Christmas at Gunpoint and Yassen is there because he knows Ian is already at Sayle’s factory and will have to be...handled. So two weeks of just getting Alex trained for the protection he might need, connecting him to resources, etc. Ian finding out that Yassen had been there was part of a draft at one point which was included Alex wondering about an all too sincere goodbye from Ian “who never hugged him” but I can’t find the snippet anymore ;__;
A Warm Reception was an alternate version. Originally I wanted it to be Alex watching his last chance at normality slip from his fingers and then the crushing realization that it was something that was his own doing, not even MI6 but Skoda who he had picked a fight with and the accompanying breakdown but then decided that Mrs. Bedfordshire was the right way to go upon writing the summary. Because everyone loves some Outsider POV
Adopted was supposed to be a one chapter throw away trope flip of K Unit adopts Alex. I kept it pretty consistent with Amitai and Lil Lupin’s K Units, tried to add in some more characterization just in how they treated some of the details. It has an alt ending/chapter where they find out Alex is Cub when they pull him from Three’s tender mercies almost by accident. I was persuaded into light humored fluff via guilt trip.
The Truth and Other Deadly Weapons has Ben acting exactly like he think he would in front of everyone but my AU was that this interaction happened in the field and absolutely shattered Ben’s trust in him partly because he had worked for the other side and partly because even if it ‘wasn’t as bad as it looks’ it showed a severe lack of judgment. It also featured several chapters of Alex running into the glass ceiling that is having “Member Malogosto Class of 2004” on your resume. Was going to feature Alex running into Walker as well and into problems within MI6 and the CIA but that was eventually cut and it was kept to one chapter.
Guardian....Guardian holds a very special place in my heart. I was given the prompt of a Monster Fic and I wrote what I knew but the interesting parts were all the ones that come after the story but might come across to a general audience as Hogwarts School of Prayers and Miracles. The plotting done post this was going to feature baby Angel Alex reuniting with his parents but...they were strangers to him and so he stayed with Yassen more and more, followed him, learned from him....it encompassed everything from the dynamics of broken families to reflections on theology and references from the Good Book....which is why it’ll never see the fandom but has a very special place in my heart.
In another, more perfect world Glocking Around the Christmas Tree is the Die hard fic this fandom deserves but as Lupin and I untangled the plot of the movie more and more we just couldn’t make it into anything that would be coherent on paper so it was changed and changed and is now a half finished sad abomination that sits on my works list only because Lupin would kill me if I took it down.
Hot Shot was supposed to feature my current favorite character that is not Nile Abara, John Crawley but I wimped out and changed it at the end because I swore I would write the Crawley fic that we all need. Hear me out: John Crawley knew and worked with John and Ian Rider, was respected by both of them, was recruited by SCORPIA within one year in the field, is the Chief of Staff of MI6, the man who “no one gets a knife in the back without him signing off” and is also the man who walks his dog to check on Alex. There’s a mentorship waiting to happen there, preferably in a nice work study program during college where Alex finally gets to see the repercussions of his missions and Crawley helps try and pull him back from the black mark that SCORPIA would have put on him.
My personal fluffy favorite is the spinoff of Devil Went Down to Georgia where Joe Byrne did pull Alex out post Skeleton Key and brought him home. There’s a pretty extended one about where Tom ends up after Mates. There’s also an actual sequel but ask me no questions and all.
Skipping a few collabs and Febuwhump fics but Burning Questions was just supposed to be Branded - a fic where upon being captured by Razim he is brought in and forcibly branded to differentiate the appearances of Alex and Julius (since Razim has decided to have him killed after shooting the Secretary of State). As a result of the pain levels spiking when Alex actually sees that the SCORPIA logo is branded onto his cheek Razim considers that emotional pain might be something to investigate. There’s a couple thousand words on it, one day I might polish it up.
First Impressions is supposed to be a mirror verse of Alex working for MI6 which includes Three as Blunt, Rothman as Jones and of course Sagitta as K Unit while he’s up against his father as Yassen and Yassen as Crawley. But it was cut down significantly even if the ideas are pretty fun to consider.
Sorry this was probably more than you bargained for but it was fun to get everything out there so thank you for asking

SNL is back with Owen Wilson as first host of season 47. Kacey Musgraves is the musical guest. Episode 2 will have a ridic choice for host. Halsey will sing. I suppose $ is power with the Kardashians. Is everybody watching the Amber Ruffin Show?? I loved her before but now… I learn so much from her show. Sometimes it takes a comic to get to the real serious shit. For example: Have you heard of drowning towns? Towns like Oscarville, Kowaliga, York hill, Seneca Village, Prentiss and countless other black towns that were drowned out to make lakes for the local whites. Central Park was also made after a black community was erased from history. Development displacement? Alleyway dwelling authority? Even those rabid for history can find out new things everyday. Thanks Amber!!

The Emmy’s were a little different this year with more of a Golden Globe look.  Cedric the Entertainer hosted with Reggie Watts as DJ. Lots of minority noms but barely a win. It was a white people night. Ted Lasso had a great night. Mare of Eastown took home a few with Evan Peters, Julianne Nicholson and Kate Winslet. Now, Kate is great but how did Anya Taylor- Joy not walk away with that? Queens Gambit did win a couple and gave the longest speech with the seemingly arrogant director Scott Frank who opened up 2 page acceptance. Categories were tough but I was routing for Renee Elise Goldberry and Bowen Yang but perhaps next year. The people in England who had their own party for all the statues that the Crown won seemed to be having more fun! Hacks won for writing and directing and Jean Smart!! It was nice to see the Norm Macdonald love which was barely mentioned by Lorne but celebrated by John Oliver. Colbert ‘s election night special won as did JB Smoove. Hamilton won and Debbie Allen got the big one. I do not understand why real singers and or musicians have to be there for the in Memoriam. It takes me out of it a bit and concentrates the focus on them. Do they think that people will pay attention more? Do they want to keep the home audience or live audience from the bathroom?  My best dressed were Anya Taylor-Joy, Michaela Cole who won for I may destroy you, Jean Smart, Josh O’Connor, Kathryn Hahn, Billy Porter, MJ Rodriguez, Keenan Thonpson, Leslie Odom Jr., Catherine O’Hara, Trevor Noah, Eugene Levy, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, Bowen Yang,  Anthony Anderson, Leslie Grossman, Amber Ruffin, Allyson Felix, Renee Elise Goldberry, Samira Wiley and Rege- Jean Page. My worst were Sarah Paulson, Gillian Anderson,  Beanie Feldstein, Elizabeth Olsen and Aidy Bryant. To me the best part of the show was the enthusiasm of Conan and the way he injected himself into much of the evening .He was the show.  Go Conan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*****
Next year there must be some Emmys for Sarah Paulson and Cobie Smulders in Impeachment!!!!!

Thousands and thousands of people are in need. Haitian refugees and other immigrants have seen nothing like this what with assassination, a hurricane and earthquake. The Southern border is a mess.** Why does Fox news keep telling refugees the border is open as they sit back and laugh at Biden’s predicament.  Spreading false info to intentionally hurt poor, distressed people has no end for them.
*****
Do companies know how fucked up their employment websites are? It is true that some people do not want to work. It is true that people schedule interviews and don’t show up. It is also true that companies have made it so hard to apply that many can’t. I suppose it is easier for them but the poor who may really want to work have a hard time. Paper applications are almost completely gone. The old fashioned way of walking into low paying job sites and finding a connection with a manager rarely exist. Some places only accept texts or have long ridiculous psych tests that a working Mother may not have time for. A Father working many hours already, may not be able to go to the library to get online if they cannot afford a computer. Many websites tell you that there no positions available in your area while there is a huge sign in front of the establishment. Can’t find people to work.. Gee I wonder why?? And treat people with respect once you find them, how about that?

Hey.. There was a van air B’n B biz going that got busted. Hey.. The poor need vaca’s too. It is wrong but If they are willing to sleep in a van, why not. I truly think that many do not understand how much people are struggling.

Free coffee day came and went but only a few places really gave you free coffee without rules to govern the promo. Some places wanted to sell you something else and some made you belong to their club. Starbucks held that customers had to come inside for the free cup of Joe, handicapped or not.

One would think the Republicans would run out of $ for recounts but they have deep pockets. Just think how much good they could do for the huddled masses with that scratch.

Sad to lose Mick Brigden, protégé of Bill Graham who managed The Stones and worked with Frampton, Dylan and Santana.** And the comics were very vocal about the loss of Norm Macdonald. He was one of a kind and he will be missed!

You know, the conversation about sea shanties is just another chapter in what seems like the endless story of people of color, in particular black and indigenous people, telling us to learn the history of the things we like and white people hearing that it means we have to lock those things away forever and burn our books and stamp on our records. As if that isn’t what white people have done to black and indigenous stories, to black and indigenous cultures, to black and indigenous arts, wealth, etc for centuries. As if that is what the people of color who are educating us on the things we like are actually advocating for. News flash: part of the history of oppressors is fearing the tables turning, when that is never been the goal of civil rights and social justice movements. Ever.
So fun fact: I grew up loving good ol’ classic rock n’ roll. My first concert was the Allman Brothers Band, which is one of the most interesting rock bands of all time imo. I really love a good southern twangy jam, the way the guitars sing, the bluesy sunny vibe. Ramblin’ Man? Jessica? Simple Man? Carry On Wayward Son? Hotel California? Perfect fucking driving music if you ask me.
If you know anything about southern rock, you know the iconography - the Confederate Flag is everywhere, in the crowds, for many bands it’s in the album covers and the photoshoots, etc. You know what you get when you wade in the Southern rock water*.
The lyrics from Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Sweet Home Alabama have been parsed and interpreted in all kinds of ways -
In Birmingham they love the governor (boo-boo-boo) Now we all did what we could do Now Watergate does not bother me Does your conscience bother you?
And yeah, you could read this as ironic or satirical. In fact, that’s what guitarist and co-writer Gary Rossington says according to NPR -
"A lot of people believed in segregation and all that. We didn't. We put the 'boo, boo, boo' there saying, 'We don't like Wallace,' " Rossington said. But he also added that there were "a lot of different interpretations. I'm sure if you asked the other guys who are not with us anymore and are up in rock and roll heaven, they have their story of how it came about."
And yeah, maybe they didn’t like George Wallace or Nixon. Sure. Whatever. I could buy it, actually. Because this song actually is indicative of how many privileged people feel when they perceive being called out, even if the criticism isn’t about them. Call it wjhat you want - white fragility, white liberal sensitivity, etc. This song was written in response to Neil Young’s Southern Man, which goes:
Southern man, better keep your head Don't forget what your good book said Southern change gonna come at last Now your crosses are burning fast
Southern man I saw cotton and I saw black Tall white mansions and little shacks Southern man, when will you pay them back? I heard screamin' and bullwhips cracking How long? How long? How?
Yeah, writer Ronnie Van Zant was so bothered by Neil Young talking about l*nchings, abject sl*very and reparations in Southern Man, a song that isn’t even about them or Alabama in particular, that he wrote Sweet Home Alabama.
Well I heard Mister Young sing about her Well I heard ol' Neil put her down Well I hope Neil Young will remember A southern man don't need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord I'm comin' home to you
So ironically, even though Neil Young was just talking to racists in the US South, someone who ostensibly didn’t agree with segregation took that song as a personal attack because he liked “southern culture” and his home state of Alabama, despite its flaws.
But Young never says that the South is irredeemable. He just says white southerners need to come to terms with their history (and yes make reparations). In fact, according to NPR he has some issues with his lyrics. “I didn't like my words when I wrote them. They are accusatory and condescending.” I don’t agree. It needs to be said.
So Van Zant and the Skynyrd guys heard a criticism of white Southern racism and at BEST thought, “well that’s an unfair portrayal of me, a southern white man.” Van Zant can’t answer this question for himself since he died in a plane crash with two other band members and their manager in 1977.
In my opinion, knowing how white people can be when confronted with the reality of racism, this feels a lot like every other time a well-meaning white person (myself included) has said, “but not all white people.”
Not all Southern whites supported segregation at the time, but most did - and all white people benefit from the legacy of sl*very. I might not be a descendant of people who enslaved others, my ancestors might have come here as refugees, but after they fled Ireland for New York, they threw black people under the bus for whiteness.
Rock is a genre that owes everything to Black musicians - to blues and spirituals and gospel and yes, Black work songs. Black history is in the DNA of rock music. That I grew up thinking it was white music is mortifying to be honest.
But I don’t really like Sweet Home Alabama and I never have. It’s kind of just meh to me. Not a big loss.
And that takes me to the Allman Brothers Band. As far as I am aware, ABB (through many, many iterations - this is another band plagued by tragedy) has never been cool with racism. According to Vulture:
The Allmans respected not just black art but black players; as kids, Gregg and Duane got lessons from an older black guitarist their mother once refused to allow into her home, and later, they caught hell having Jaimoe and bassist Lamar Williams in their ranks in their adopted home state of Georgia. “If a musician could play, we didn’t look at his skin color,” Gregg wrote in his 2012 memoir My Cross to Bear.
“Nobody around here had seen guys who looked like them,” soul food legend and friend of the band Mama Louise Hudson said in Alan Paul’s 2014 oral history One Way Out: The Inside History of the Allman Brothers Band. “A lot of the white folk around here did not approve of them long-haired boys, or of them always having a black guy with them.” Southern rock occupied a peculiar axis of Mason-Dixon pride and reverence to blues and soul veterans who were hampered and harangued by the politics of the South. Gregg always pushed back. He didn’t placate audiences’ blind patriotism and racism the way Charlie Daniels and Hank Williams Jr. have. Last year, he spoke out against North Carolina’s transphobic “bathroom bill,” and when asked about the confederate flag in 2015, he told Radio.com, “If people are gonna look at that flag and think of it as representing slavery, then I say burn every one of them.”
And that is great.
But.
Whipping Post. Written by white ally Gregg Allman, bluesy and wild and passionate on a level that is hard to imagine, this is... one of the greatest songs I have ever heard. And it also makes me wonder if it’s maybe belittling a part of slavery.
My friends tell me, that I've been such a fool But I had to stand by and take it baby, all for lovin' you I drown myself in sorrow as I look at what you've done But nothing seemed to change, the bad times stayed the same, And I can't run Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel Like I been tied to the whippin' post Tied to the whippin' post, tied to the whippin' post Good Lord, I feel like I'm dyin'.
Honestly? I don’t know. I’ve researched it, I’ve used google. There isn’t a lot the internet has to say about this song that isn’t “this song fucking slaps man!!!” Maybe part of it is the larger context - Allman was staunchly against racism and was taught by a Black guitarist and played with Black musicians and loved Black music. A white man comparing an emotionally abusive relationship with being whipped might feel different without that context.
(Whipping posts being used for people besides enslaved Black people does not mean Allman wasn’t referencing what Black American slaves experienced, so don’t even go there. I know. The Romans also had slaves. It’s different.)
But if some people of color on the internet critique this song someday, the appropriate response is not to act as if “hey here is where this comes from, please be mindful about historical context and get educated” means “never listen to that devil song again,” folks.
It’s about learning our histories so we can do better in the future. Not canceling entire genres of music. Some things are best left in the past but mostly it’s just about understanding what the things we love mean. And these things are more than their aesthetics.
*I also really, really love African American work songs. Always have.

Hulu New Releases: April 2021
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
While the first day of spring technically belongs to March, everyone knows that it kicks into high gear in April. To celebrate the changing of the seasons, Hulu is finally bringing back its signature original series for April 2021.
Season 4 of the multiple Emmy award-winning The Handmaid’s Tale premieres on April 28. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen June and her dystopian world. In fact, it’s been so long that our own world decided to endure its own dystopian pandemic in the meantime. Hopefully this series’ return will mean we can keep our political and social collapses on television where they belong.
Aside from The Handmaid’s Tale, Hulu isn’t brining much else to the table in terms of originals this month. Thankfully, the one other original that Hulu has in store for April sounds completely righteous. Sasquatch, the latest docuseries from the Duplass brothers producing team, will cover exactly what the title promises. This three-part series heads off to the Pacific Northwest for a tale about an elicit pot farm and the possibility that three men were viciously murdered by Big Foot on it. Sign us up!
Library titles for Hulu in April 2021 are also pretty thin. But April 1 does feature the arrival Mad Max (1980) and Die Hard (1988). Then April 28 sees the arrival of…well, Arrival (2016). Those aren’t bad streaming options in case the weather in April decides to not be spring-like.

3 POEMS by Dana Miller
MX-76
Sneerwise, I’ve seen better Dearborn, without the metal I’d go on to abort you like any other paperweight hitchhiking across my belly and just that fast Grace Kelly has figured out the new math, I’m afraid and lordess, but you’re a strict equation Despite the munitions manifest under the crown of your abdication I just keep on loving you like caloric restriction and late-70s cocaine stretching myself out like St. Swithin’s Day across your salt lick whole oceans of Tawny Kitaen Ready for my Helen Reddy moment I’d sober up if I were you The flecks of Roberta Flack in me will leash every lime tiger leaping out of your 43rd-floor window with a piano strapped to its back
It Glows Under The Half-Smirk
the things you learn while killing yourself... down the end of your own dick, I got my comeuppance quick. this wasn’t like ingestion of the ancestor.
the things you’ll hear in a drowned meadow... I used to think you were a nice bunch of guys, ever out of cigarettes, packs on packs of lies. you thought you burned all the blooms of my life. shark-faced cars for the shark-toothed wife
the way things will phrase themselves in a dream… the porcelain horseshoes of your bent vision. the drugs in your dance have all ditched me, by and by. what’s left is streaks of lightning-blonde--celestial harlot dye.
no truck now for the very idea of you, the two times needles, the twice j’taime. whyever wouldn’t I get off my face? it’s hard, after all, to have fins in this place, where pelicans regard the curvature of the world, and your doormat-ador sneers-- seven full galaxies of dream on.
Last Lighthouses a riff for the faithless majority
You’ll come to know the type You’ve given them all 13 years or more--full of hummable introspection and the most famous rock stars in the world--to say nothing of your dose-dense soul bandying about your hopes and fears built entirely on bracellae and boustrophedon They will come to your birthday parties and you will go to them at Christmas It will seem the safest and most naturally warm thing in the world to lean your full weight on the concrete of their love (though you might as well be giving birth in the High Arctic) Ta, but how the best ones will swear they love you Til you roundly disappoint yourself and believe It’s only when your weight-bearing hand goes crashing through what you thought was such an indomitable, vertical construction of care that you see it was always made of wet newspaper--and you, my dear, are just a penny gaff girl in the back rooms of their subconscious public houses Then, they’ll quietly sneak round the sticky corners of your rawest self—of the actual show-up time—like white privilege guilt-trippers always do in the face of the real ghetto into invisibility into convenience into convention into covering for him--he is their son, after all (even if they would say they didn’t raise him to act like this) there are twins here for sure, but never once (or ever) a twin flame. To the comforts of conformity, even your last lighthouses will bend Away from responsibility and respectability Away from decency and all their debts you owe Away from everything you thought they’d be weddings don’t count, didn’t you know? Ohhh.......You thought they meant always? worse: you thought they meant like you do—didn’t you? Oh what a laugh-a-minute you are Remember? They even told you how funny and fun you are for parties they don’t admit going to What a lift you give to others, they praise! What a joy to all their days! you should always be around, except when you shouldn’t. and you, precious little idiot, you believed there weren’t any shouldn’ts just because you don’t have any for them—didn’t you? Awww....did you write them a Valentine too? Ha. Sorry, but the joke’s absolutely on you. When you’ve been dead about a week curled up like a conch
on the kitchen floor crying hysterically, on the hour every hour, like a beaten child and every bit as confused watching the door and mapping the bruise This is when you’ll realize that they have always been irrelevant It was only ever your heart feasting on the time their mouse your elephant --trunk and memory, that is. For a flash your tear-gasps will morph into insano-giggles as you imagine telling them to go fuck themselves straight off Then you dream of tricking them into a lunch date where really you’re going to FedEx their whole human bodies, post haste, to the same ruinous wasteland where they’ve so nonchalantly annexed you But you can’t find the address. Even after sifting meticulously through whatever shards remain of your blown-out heart, it isn’t there. Damn. Lucifer probably bought it off Judas and stuffed the only copy in his back pocket for safekeeping. in Hell all the prettiest ones are sooo smart. like they always said you were Funny. Rolling over to try and die one more time again, you will bump noses with the one and only Michael Hutchence, right there stretched out next to you, but not quite how you always dreamed it rather like a canebrake of the afterlife like an invigilator this is autoplatonic strangulation after all Devil Inside and that Oh God, how you love(d) that bacchus boy Oh Mab, how you willed this fall Eventually, once you’ve died all you can die and died some more something invisible will remind you of Patti Smith and you’ll remember that you have to get up off the kitchen floor You still have to get up every day and dress in battered menswear like her so you can write revolutionary poems—but be the kind of skinny only artistic girls can get Even if you don’t yet have a Robert Mapplethorpe to switch stripey shirts with in the paint-spatter of afternoon light Even if you still relentlessly wait for them, sometimes, late later, latest in the grin-less night.
Dana Miller is a giggling wordsmith and mega-melomaniac from Atlanta, Georgia. When not wielding a lethal pen, she adores surf culture, Australian grunge rockers, muscle cars, Epiphone guitars, glitter, Doc Martens, and draft horses. Oxford, England is her spirit-home and Radiohead is holding the last shard of her girlhood heart.

Fics that are good
by ‘good’ i mean ‘i like them and have unquestionable taste, therefore they are good.’ sorted arbitrarily into nonsense categories that only make sense to me because it’s what aziraphale would have wanted.
Wide range of interests and plots! All very feel good! Even if it is tagged as angst, I have an extremely low angst threshold which means it was handled in a graceful way in the fic. If I already follow the tumblr of an author, I have tagged them. Please let me know of anyone else I need to tag.
Below the cut!*
Part 2 Here
(*rip to app users who that doesn’t work for.)
KEY
+ = favourite % = just friends in this one, possibly with romantic tension ^ = pre 2019, based on book
Dabbling In The Occult Is A Fun Way To Spend A Family Evening: Fics that involve humans playing with occult forces. Zira and Crowley end up entangled in their antics.
Lot Thirty Seven - The Vault (15347 words) by AceOfShadows Whump, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort - PG -  +, % Heaven and hell want the ineffable idiots to find and destroy occult objects that find their way into human hands. [Spoiler] Zira is taken hostage by the collector as the ultimate occult object. [/spoiler] After shenanigans at a dodgy auction house specializing in such objects, Crowley takes revenge and saves the day after Zira goes missing.
I’m not an angst loving gal, but all of the angst in this fic is perfectly balanced in the form of narrative tension rather than just hurting both audience and characters for the sake of suffering. A+ antagonist oc, I couldn’t put this one down.
One Golden Glance (it's a kind of magic) (3255 words) by Chrononautical Fluff and Humor - G Zira bursts in heroically to save Crowley only to find him drinking with the college students who were dicking around with summoning circles. They’re married in this one.
The Devil Went Down to Georgia (8445 words) by ImprobableDreams900 Historical - G - %^ Now Crowley went down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal, cause he was in a bind and way behind and he was willing to make a deal.
About time Zira saves Crowley’s ass and not the other way around.
Silly In A Good Way
Blame It on the Goose (19434 words) by almaasi Fluff, Feel-good - G + Untitled Goose Game Human AU. Ex-criminal Crowley moves to quiet village next to Aziraphale, a retired principal. After Crowley finds himself nude in Aziraphale’s house due to his clothes being stolen, they team up to catch the culprit who is wreaking havoc all over town. It also serves as a good excuse to spend time together.
Getting A Wiggle On (7293 words) By @kedreeva Fluff, Feel-good (G) + Based on that text post about Crowley trying to prank Aziraphale with fake snake eggs but it backfiring when Zira miracles them into real ones.
Acts of Service (3072 words) by die_traumerei Fluff (T) Everyone thinks that Aziraphale is Crowley’s sugar daddy.
Something So Precious (4276  words) by freyjawriter24 Fluff - (G) Anolther one based on a post.  “Aziraphale and Crowley are both adopted by two different groups of little old ladies who bake and knit together. Eventually the groups come together and realise their 'lovely young men' know each other, so they conspire to get the two together. “
Pining Artists
These two fics coincidentally have the same plot but from different POV. They complement each other perfectly in terms of being able to ask “But what if it was the other way around??” Highly recommend reading them both!
Plot: Over the years, one ineffable husband has taken to expressing their yearning/seemingly unrequited love through a creative outlet. After one ineffable husband leaves the south downs cottage for a brief period to run errands in London, the huge backlog of art is discovered when curiosity gets the better of the one at home. Cue awkward confessions of discovery and passionate unions when the other returns.
Aziraphale the poet: Foolish Principality by Seashadows and WikdSushi (6686 words) Rated M, + The imagery and poetry is stunning in this I cannot recommend it enough.
Crowley the artist: Secret About a Secret by theheartbelieves (5898 words) Rated M It gets sexy; strap in fellas.
Venice
I just like venice fics. If you know more please tell me.
Sticks and Stones (26369 words) by LieutenantLiv / @justkeeptrekkin Fluff and Angst, Slow Burn - T - +
The Casanova crossover we all wanted after David Tennant starred in the BBC miniseries. At the request of Casanova himself, Crowley impersonates Casanova to try and get over his feelings for Aziraphale but finds himself in too deep after tiring of the charade. Zira shows up and helps him get out of the sticky situation.
That Time In Venice (6603 words) by @chamyl Straight Up Pornography (With Feelings)  (Also, I will say if your taste in smut is ‘sweet but sexy’ any of their fics hit the spot.) “Crowley comes to Aziraphale’s rescue, helping him get into his costume before the masquerade. Except he’ll end up helping with a little more than that.”

Preaching a Gospel of Conspiratorial Politics
more from the Baptist pastors who head and write for Word & Way...
https://publicwitness.wordandway.org/p/preaching-a-gospel-of-conspiratorial
But I’m telling you: There are wolves in sheep’s clothing out there.
