#just saw niall !!#he was a big charmer as always he's just so very boyfriend #on the loose took me so by surprise i wasn't expecting it to stick around but i love it #i think my favs of the night were black&white and this town #b&w was SO joyful and bright i almost cried lol #this town is sacred #i also... never listened to the show bc life has been a long series of nightmares #and i never felt like i could sit down and absorb something new. after i while i decided i would just. Not #and get my first exposure at the concert #and all the songs i didn't know were soooo good i'm really excited to listen to the album now #and discover what they are all called lol #i think hearing music for the first time live is such a good way to be introduced to new songs so this was nice!#anyway he was v cute you could tell he didn't want to get off the stage :(#he was still wandering around when the post-show music started playing lol #the drive was a bit stressful but he was v worth it <3 #tp

do you understand how this rewired my fucking brain ….. they were grad students together…….carlos cant remember decades…we were both trying to prove ourselves… lubelle will march over anything and anyone…… cecils swiss cheese brain ….

#everyone worried about carlos……. enough to go looking for him #im was trying to find connections between dr. kayali in 55 and janet #kayali knew carlos as a professor who disappeared on sabbitical #lubelle knew carlos as a fellow grad student #dr blake knows carlos as someone who made an impact long enough at the university that his portrsit was both hung and taken down #he also took over carlos’ role as lubelles right hand man (implied by cecil stating it )#which means either carlos was not telling the full truth and extent of his relationship to lubelle (highly likely)#or its a time and memory weirdness #but i keep thinking about the line we were young and trying to prove ourselves……..#it sounds so unnecessarily foreboding to me like whatd they get up to what did they do #that made carlos question her ethics #i bet they were rewarded for it #i bet it ate him up inside sitting atop of an achievement that was ethically shakey for years #until he has a break down and dips #also so egotisical that she sets up a campus in town lol and makes herself the dean #on top of sacred ground #kayali said he was gone for decades…… so funny how decades keep haunting carlos what does it mean what DOES IT MEAN #wtnv #welcome to night vale

back in like march? i think? @britebuck convinced me to make a pokesona specifically of a legendary pokemon [my normal one is nidorinx] so i made the world's shittiest most off brand disgraceful ho-oh and had an Immense amount of fun with it for the like two weeks it occupied my brain

it even comes with lore

+origin for the 'name'

and some other misc. fun doodles

this one was gonna be a bigger thing with it defending some rando from ghestis but i didnt get farther than this.

it may have learned 'no' from people frequently yelling at it to fuck off, but by the same quirk it also answers to 'no' when someome's like, indiscriminately screaming for help

i also wanted to do one abt it reviving peoples pets if they're brought to it but did not get 2 it at all. sad

ohhhh my god had a huge fucking dnd moment today. so like in this setting magic got completely fucked 250 years ago in something called the shattering, magic users all died or lost their minds, huia saw this shit first-hand bc elf lifespans and cause shes part of an order of druids which uh. isnt strictly around anymore. insert trauma and survivors guilt etc etc but particularly she had an older brother in the order who went awol, presumed dead but thats huia being hopeful yknow. so naturally shes pretty fucking cautious around the arcane.

anyway today the party met this old ass high elf who went insane and started collecting peoples bones to make a dress out of yknow normal things, and post-shattering magic exposure made her weird enough that making a business deal with her gave someone the option to become a pact of the arch-fey warlock. so shes kind of a twisted mirror of huia's worst nightmares about her brother.

but huia DIDNT MEET HER. because she was STILL UNCONSCIOUS. after the fight from LAST week. and i missed that fucking GOOOOOLDEN RP OPPORTUNITY. BECAUSE ALLISON NEARLY KILLED HER.

#and the person who almost blew me up with sudden unpredictable magic powers wasnt here today so i couldnt confront her about it!#and i probably cant have that conversation next week either bc huia is out of town trying to track down her ancient fucking gnome koroua #the only other member of the order who has GONE MISSING. like just up and LEFT the grove. for the first time in THREE HUNDRED YEARS.#AND THEYRE GETTUNG EVICTED FROM THEIR ANCIENT SACRED GROVE IN A MONTH.#this campaign is very good and it is going to kill me

mumbling something about Aylin spending all her life in her mother's armor from the moment she could first call it to her, but when she had cause to take it off, had cause and encouragement to wear normal clothing, finding she leans toward twirling skirts and fitted bodices and polished hair pieces

#OOC / HOLLY.#it's not about the clothing herself it's about her discovering what clothing she likes #there's something sacred about expressing your identity through clothing + grooming #and being *able* to outwardly express your identity that #going through that process of discovering how you like to present yourself and how you want to present yourself #has a strong component of personal identity and self-determination which are over-arching Aylin themes #just a step in exploring who she is outside the Sword of the Moonmaiden outside the Moon Daughter #shedding the divine arms and armor that aren't even made but summoned and aren't tangible except when she wears them #and donning something tangible something chosen or made something she can touch something anyone can tough #anyway this is also me thinking about 2nd or 3rd outing with Isobel #she def wore her arms and armor to the 1st because she's always worn it. she probably doesn't even own clothes lmao #because it's always been the armor. but idk I imagine Isobel was like 'do you need full plate on a picnic?' and Aylin was like #'???' did not register there was another option. what do you mean this isn't her skin #and that launching a 'huh what clothes do I like? what do I want to wear? how do I want to present myself?'#she buys an outfit for herself in town and is SO happy about it she's beaming when she goes to show it to Isobel #and pls consider Isobel accompanying her to a seamstress to get a few pieces / an actual wardrobe made

Red from the iron oxide in the water the colour is attributed to the presence of the Grail, filled with Christ's blood and hidden somewhere near the source by Joseph of Arimathea, or to the blood of the local earth goddess, whose consort rules over the White Spring nearby. Home to Arthurian legends, 19th century occult societies, and a mingling of Christian and pagan pilgrims to this day the Well and her garden have a rich history. It was unbelievably hot that day so being able to stand in the pool was incredibly welcome.
