Sure have! #I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play. #I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks. #Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere. #Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios. #The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*. #This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those. #Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human. #Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her. #She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist. #The damsel was the dragon all along! #...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

I don’t know exactly what it was but my first thought seein #the white void was she was appearing to MK in his mindscape to talk to him. so I built on that #I wanted to give him a more ‘Smokey’ look as a shadow just based on how he manipulates them in the show like in shadow play. #how does eiden keep doing that #that. naked magic. tablecloth sweep but suddenly it's rated oops for selective nudity #this is the 2nd time i've drawn eiden motion blur swiping yaku's clothes off. will this become a pattern? #yes i am still thinking about aegis r2. naked apron forever #i know there was probably an interlude. a moment between R1 and R2 [R1.5] #where eiden said TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES ok now put the apron back on #and yakumo's all ??? JUST the apron? ?? ?? #then we go into R2 and it starts with yakumo questioning eiden's costume direction #but i wouldn't put it past eiden's mystical part time abilities #to be able to selectively nakify his clan members #haHA! behold! the art of misdirection! (there will still be a post tomorrow to keep on track) #The original 3 panel comic idea was fine but the point of this new schedule was to take time to push myself a bit more. #I was taking a look back through some comic artists I felt inspired by #and I really loved how Lynda Barry fills her gutters with patterns and doodles! #Obviously I'm not going as absolutely wild with it as she does but it was a great exercise! #I truly think the gutters are the most important and most overlooked part of any comic. There's lots going on in that space. #It's the same with timeskips. The implied movement between moments that we don't see changes depending on how wide that gap is #You're here for the funny tags so here's some that ties this time talk together: #I think LWJ was thinking about that second note from day 2 but it took him 7 days of hazing to commit it to paper. #I think he sends it a day later and immediately regrets it. Chasing down the messenger and everything. #You know if something actually happened to his brother he would never ever forgive himself for putting the bad vibes out there. #Third time skip was the hardest because there was so many possible flavours of jokes here. Day 8/9 was a personal favourite. #day 14 was also funny (week by week). I think the debate on 'how long does lwj take to catch feelings' is more or less: #'how long does it take for him to arrive at a particular stage of grief and yearning (and awareness of it all) #This is a symphony. There is an act by act structure. Every day he is fighting to keep his old sensibilities. He is losing so badly. #(I'll be returning to the main comic soon but there is more of this AU to come!)

#vashwood #vash the stampede #nicholas d. wolfwood #trigun #trigun maximum #nicolas d wolfwood #my spin on how they started to really fall for each other tbh..... i mean #my hc is that vash fell first --> hence ch 21 -- which is kind of funny bc they had a lot of back and forths and conflict between one anothe #but i Cannot be convinced otherwise that when vash woke up and saw wolfwood bedridden next to him #that expression alone was filled with so much worry and care and i think that feeling of gratitude and knowing wolfwood had survived pushed #the level of affection.... also those few chapters where theyre just hanging out in the ship honestly feels so domestic amongst everything #which is the kind of atmosphere where i think vash thrives upon the most and is able to feel #comfortable and open to relieve any inner buried feelings... #for wolfwood id like to think he always felt a little drawn to vash due to not only his mission but also bc vash Forces him to be worried #all the time so-- he's just always on the mind and coupled with their initial opposing ideologies #i think ultimately in ch 35 is when he stopped having any feelings of doubt in vash and caved to realizing that he /wants/ to protect him #and also just loves him. a lot! #anyway this is so gushy but i love them so much #these thoughts plague me #ruporas art
