ZaSu Pitts watches Madge Bellamy in Thunder Mountain (1925). A lost movie, this sequence survives in the National Film Archive of Japan. It was recently screened during the event Film Censorship in Pre-War Japan: A Perspective of the Film Scenes “Cut” by the Home Ministry, along with excerpts from other movies. Pokemon Card of the Day #3094: Thunder Mountain Prism Star (Lost Thunder)

Thunder Mountain Prism Star was one in a series of type-specific Stadium cards, ones that were limited to the one per deck but couldn't be affected by Items and Supporters. An attack or usually another Stadium was the only way to get rid of these. This one was for Lightning-types, and simply made the attacks of Lightning-type Pokemon cost 1 Lightning Energy less.

This was obviously a big thing to include for Pikachu & Zekrom-GX in particular, as it made the 150 damage attack that also accelerated more Energy into play cost just 2 Energy. Theoretically, if going second, you could get that attack off on turn 1. You needed this, Tapu Koko Prism Star, and a switching card since Tapu Koko attached to the Bench on top of your attachment from the hand for the turn. It wasn't that reliable, but sometimes it just hit. Even if you didn't hit it, having an easier time accessing some really nice attacks on a type as good as Lightning was always useful, and any Lightning deck with reasonably high Energy costs was going to use this card.

I’ve made a haunted mansion oc

He’s just a funny little guy 🤷‍♀️. I don’t know if I’ll ever do anything with him, if any of you want to feel free just let me know because I’d want to see. His story combines too of my favorite attractions and the tombstone idea was just too good not to make. I love a lot of the theming when it comes to Frontierland, and considering the mansion sort of fits in? If you count the steamboat narration that ads a bit of liberty square (not sure how it is in Anaheim)

1880s mining attire meets 1980s new wave. It was entirely unintentional! I just wanted to follow the color schemes of the ballroom ghosts, both in the attraction and in the boo to you parade.

LORE DROP OO2: THE LOCATION

House of Wolves takes place in Idaho, specifically located in and around the beautiful Salmon-Challis National Forest. 4.2 million acres of forest and wilderness is the perfect place for werewolf packs to hide in plain sight. This is not populated land - Rexburg is 4 hours away, and the town of Salmon isn’t what anyone would consider large.

Most werewolves find jobs within their packs. From learning medicine, to shepherding livestock, concepts such as stocks or the housing crisis aren’t used in common discussion. If a werewolf does seek out a human-involved job, they’ll often work from home, or if they’re really dedicated, find some mix between the long travels between large cities and the packs. Though Salmon remains the most “human” town - the Grays Peak and Sleeping Deer packs pooled their resources sometime in the ‘70s, creating the “neutral territory” town of Stormy Peak. It rarely receives human visitors aside from weary travelers and excited mountaineers, and really hasn’t changed since the ‘70s - walking the line between charmingly sleepy and completely stagnant. Exciting amenities include: the only restaurant within an hour’s drive, a hotel that hosts most inter-pack meetings, a few small businesses, a hospital (the only up-to-date building) and a K-12 school (yeah, you’re better off taking your kids to Salmon for that). The packs maintain their own territories - the older packs have built their own communes, homes safely nestled into the comfort of the woods, blending in without sacrificing the comfort of WiFi and running water. All packs reside in the mountains - residing somewhere around the landmarks they have named themselves after. Cryptic will probably make a map, but it’s safe to assume that their territories are vast - filled with plenty of wildlife and natural beauty to keep the packs safe. The Sleeping Deer pack resides next to a mountain lake fed by a waterfall from the Sleeping Deer mountaintop - their homes scattered around the lake. There is no central packhouse, however they do have a large firepit that meetings are scheduled around. A boathouse is set on the shore of the lake - filled with small canoes and other swimming gear. The waterfall provides electricity to the pack - though this source gets difficult in the winter. The Grays Peak pack hides within deeply wooded forests - it’s almost as though their homes were built around the trees - treehouses and living trees growing through their houses are common. Because of how carefully they build their homes - they focus on larger, sturdy, many roomed houses - almost multigenerational houses. There is a central packhouse, perched around a massive Western Red Cedar tree where meetings, cooking, and other group activities are held. Salmon River has the most room out of all the packs - their territory contains much of the actual Salmon River - a mixture of mountains and plains provide the pack the opportunity to be creative. Salmon River pack is the only pack to have things like barns and farmland - Salmon River has a fairly decent cattle population, as well as horses when they don’t feel like shifting forms. Their packhouses are more scattered than the rest and less uniform - when the pack expands, they tend to build at random - preferably somewhere that gives them a good vantage point in the plains. Their meeting place is in the largest barn on their territory - smack in the middle. Fresh sawdust and the smell of concrete hangs in the air around Thunder Mountain - this pack is still building their homes, and really haven’t figured out their general aesthetic. Their homes are like typical human homes - they’ve even thrown around the idea of paving their roads. Thunder Mountain has received the scraps of the other packs, as well as territory that was never claimed in the first place - though initially Thunder Mountain seems barren, a series of caves and tunnels have led wolves of the pack to explore them as potential storage/defense. Thunder Mountain has been holding gatherings wherever they’d like - though the idea of meeting in the tunnels has crossed many of their minds.

Hear me out: rollercoasters are trains

Rollercoasters are technically classified as an amusement ride bc it has steep drops and is a “short lived thrill”.

HOWEVER there’s more similar than dissimilar, for example: both are on a track, follow a set path, transport passengers, typically travel at high speeds, and may or may not cause motion sickness. The only real difference is you don’t feel as much inertia on a traditional “train” compared to a rollercoaster, are able to transport luggage, and may or may not have a concierge. There ARE “steep railroad trains” too btw:

“But Austin,” I can hear y’all saying, “that doesn’t mean rollercoasters are trains, they’re two totally different classes and sizes.” Okay maybe BUT the lil motorized trolleys that little kids ride on in the mall are called as “trackless trains”. TRACKLESS TRAINS?! I’m LOOSING it! Despite the name they’re also classified as “amusement park rides”.

If a train is not on a track, then what truly makes it a train? Apparently, trains are defined as “a series of railroad cars moved as a unit by a locomotive or by integral motors”, so NOT indicative of a track…weird.

But you know what that definition applies to? ROLLERCOASTERS. A series/connected line of cars? ✔️ Moved as a unit? ✔️ With or without a locomotive or integral motors?✔️

Final piece of evidence: Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disney World

TL;DR: Rollercoasters are trains and the discourse between the two fandoms needs to stop.

Scarlet Blackfire: "Thunder Mountain Park"

Another witchy inspired goth crossplay that was inspired by the one and only Anjelica Rose A.K.A Drackuanjelica on Instagram was done early morning at the Bridal Cave Thunder Mountain Park The weather was at its best in every way with the fall trees at full color.

The Halloween and Fall display was the perfect backdrop for this picture opportunity. I have many plans and videos for this park in mind in the future. Once again it was great to do this crossplay with little to no trouble. Later on, I'll show an extra I took days before this crossplay. I think you will like it just as much.
