She is actually VERY pink as you’ll see in the other pictures. This was one of the very first things I’ve colored and have found a better skin tone. I still like this picture a lot so into the junk journal it goes!

I have about 20 more pages and my junk journal will be full! I haven’t decided if I’ll make another because I have some other personal projects I’m excited to share with you all <3

I also want to share this junk journal but I haven’t decided how. Easiest thing would probably be a video but I have 0 equipment. Pictures would be A LOT. Do they still do slide shows?

#kirby #kirbear #plushies #daily kirby #my art #digital #hal laboratory #nintendo #I've been slowly repairing my baby blanket #unpicking all the decades of old stitches and everything. #she's actually in incredibly good shape for her age #but her edges are giving out #so I unpicked the old hems and put a border on her #and darned the corner that was too destroyed to reach the border #I still have to unpick and redarn the hole torn by my childhood cat #(weird little fun fact: my baby blanket is genderfluid for some reason?) #(right now she is her and she has been her in the past but she has also been him in the past.) #it's a lot of work because I have to finish whole chunks at once so she's stable enough to sleep with at night #I can't leave big raw vulnerable edges just because I'm tired #but it's mostly done now #(and yes I took a couple little videos of her old repairs because they were a part of her. especially the oldest ones.) #there's lots of people who do stuffed animal restoration and stuff but I haven't found anyone that does baby blankets :( #so I'll just learn to do it myself.

This is my first binding, and it's one of my absolute favourite MDZS fics of all time, Would You Come Home? by s6115 (@unleashingroombas) It is so well-written, and I would periodically cry every time Sizhui discovered the absolute care, devotion and love that wwx had for him.

The book features handmade bookcloth, faux stab-binding with a matching pale gold fore-edge (done with mica watercolors), and the adorable bunny cut-out in the cover from a small scene in the story.

For fonts: Title is Leander, chapters are Moon Dance, main text is Cormorant Garamond Light, and letters are in Gabriola.

i keep thinking back to a quote by some architect who was arguing that the most sustainable architecture is the architecture that doesnt get torn down bc we will be (hopefully) constantly finding newer, cheaper, more efficient, ways of being "sustainable" so trying to make the most sustainable building is a moot point. in 5 years it will be outdated & if all it has going for it is "was once a very sustainable building but isnt anymore" well. that isnt much. the point was that the architect was saying that classical/romantic architecture (often considered very beautiful & worth saving which i could get into but that a whole other thing) is sustainable bc of its beauty. bc of the value we put on it. bc we dont want to erase or tear down things we find beautiful or important. i dont really have an end thought but im just musing on the importance of beauty & how aesthetic value can extend itself into material value & also how beauty (infinite) is hoarded by the rich as if it is a finite source. inch resting

#so like i think the common designs of just like a cloaked shadowy figure are nice n all #i think they can be decently creative in their own right #but i wanted to rlly mix things up a lil #ofc i wanted to take it in the furry direction to some degree #but i also wanted it to tow the line between natural and otherworldly #i wanted the 'decay' of him being a split entity to be very present in it #most prominantly being the hole in his chest revealing his heart #i tried to have a lot of holes. signs of things disentegrating. something torn but in an unnatural way. #i wanted some high contrast with the 'void' creeping around his tail; like the end of it was burnt #the yellow markings are all vaguely eye spots #the arm . it didnt quite come thru perfectly but i wanted the upper arm to be like; wirey. a cluster of ropes. #and the hand itself being armor like (decaying around the edges as well; as if it could grow further at any moment) #i went with a snake/slug body bc he only has the hand; no other limbs #i think if i do another draft i might have the hand just floating; not connected at all #ugh i dont wanna design an arthur but i do have an idea for how i wanna display John's vision on him.. #like a flat hologram of eyes hovering just infront of his face #i will say i rlly like when people draw these two with like john and arthurs hands physically overlapping.. its rlly cool... #malevolent #malevolent podcast #john malevolent #art

I don’t know why, but Damian’s costume in this gift-wrap is probably the most perfect version of the Robin costume I have ever seen? It really can’t get better than this.

#its like a perfect mix of all of his previous costumes #The tunic is the same length as the N52 one but it still has the same shape and golden-lining as the Rebirth version does #but without being as long (which was my biggest issue with his Rebirth costume) #The cape is yellow from the inside and black on the outside but I love how the hoodie specifically still remain yellow like pre-reboot #but it still has the torn edges that he has now except they aren’t dragging on the floor like they do lately. #I know some of you are weirded out because you think its looks how it usually looks #but when you stan a character long you notice small details like these #Damian Wayne
