For my Prompt WillSongTober
2. The Song With Five Names
What we are is what we are not
אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה
( Hebrew for: I am that I am)
What myths must make us man?
What is "is?" What is not? What is what?
What's up, party people?
What? What, I wonder? Why I'm not "whatever."
What the fuck? 'Cause
The guy at bottom belongs to @dark-imagine-robots

this is making me ill because we had to annotate for a bunch of symbols and motifs and one of them was prominent descriptions of light & darkness and carton stood out to me because i was often marking him for standing out of the light and emerging from the darkness and things and the first and only time i annotated for him being associated with light was when he goes to darnay’s cell. and darnay is so struck by carton because he’s Smiling and he looks Happy and Fulfilled and “Bright and Remarkable” for the first time ever. and carton’s gone there to die. to give up his life to save his loved ones... and he’s smiling 😭

i dont exactly remember what happened in the route that leads to the cap being cryo'd by CC, but imma assume mark's alive the whole time
so imagine instead of illinois, yancy or whoever else may find the cap there, its space!mark.
he spent AGES asking around for the captain, but noone answered him, or just said "dunno" and he FINALLY gets a lead from someone that they might be in a cryo pod.
(now, i dont actually remember where the cap was frozen in ISWM, but for this imma assume it was in the main control room, where caps and marks pods usually are.)
now, mark's been searching for the dang captain for what feels like a week straight. mans hasnt slept a WINK. so he just stumbles his way towards the control room, and orders the computer to wake them up cuz its an emergency.
...
nothing happens.
so mark just does what he does best. starts breaking shit, and by shit i mean the cap's cryo door.
its frozen shut. something that should NOT be possible OR allowed. it puts the person inside in too much danger, both of just freezing to death and of them not being able to get out.
finally, the door is broken off, but oh god.
the captain is frozen solid. imagine smth like birdley from deltarunes snowgrave route. that.
their whole pod is just. ice. and mark can k ly vaguely see whats inside. but it really does appear to be the captain.
and now theres an emergency meeting because WHAT. i bet CC is blamed cuz shes literaly jn charge of cryo i think. and because of what truly might be a murder attempt of their beloved captain, she herself is probably locked away in cryo.
now its time to pray they can free the captain from all the ice. i'd like to think they succeed and the cap ends up surviving and recovering because plot convinience.
they end up confessing that yes it was CC who did this, but instead it was fully by force. cap didnt have ANY options to even try defending themselves.
and now i present, CC trying to pull this same shit but its in space swirl and bodyguard!dark would rather be put in a room with 10 wilfords than leave caps side :
CC : hey cap :) can we chat :)
cap : oh sure, whats up?
CC : oh its private, could he uhhj leave us alone for a minute? :)
dark : no.
CC : i wasnt askin y--
dark : n o .
and thats how dark prevented a murder. not CC killing cap, he was restraining HIMSELF by saying "no" to when he wanted to strangle CC. my man didnt even hear a thing she said i bet.
and even if she did somehow end up cryo-ing the cap, she'd have an eldriitch demon on her ass, featuring a VERY pissed mark who are not above hunting her for sport.
cap will be fine tho, dark can probably reality bend a bit to what their body was like before being iced.
ive noticed i have a knack for making y/n and/or dark suffer in every ask i send in. oops.
Oh! In that route Cap basically jumps from Gunther's rebellion to Burt merging with the computer to Celci believing that freezing everyone is for the "greater good" (if you choose "think of the colonists" each time).
Mark's completely absent which is strange but I'll assume he's alive in this timeline too and Cap kept warping around the ship to find him.
He'd try to find out where they are but everyone's already frozen over (and Burt, Celci, and Gunther are hostile to him, since they blame him for all the shit that went wrong too) so his worst fear comes true when he does, indeed, find Cap in a frozen state as well.
It wasn't actually attempted murder (since Cap willingly goes if they choose TotC, as Celci seems genuine when she says they can rest and not worry about anything anymore) but Mark's still gonna be pissed off, especially if there's a reset.
Least to say she’s gonna be very confused when Mark isn’t as sassy around her as he usually is and is just snappy/giving the silent treatment

Defining wisdom and foolishness according to Proverbs:
Before diving into defining wisdom and foolishness, it would perhaps be important to highlight, right from the beginning, what the entire book of Proverbs is working towards. In layman’s terms, the entire book screams, “wisdom, get it!” In more technical terms, the book begins by saying the point is to know wisdom and to increase in learning (1:1, 5). Further, it explains that the “fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (1:7), which sets the stage for our journey into how wisdom and foolishness described.
Kidner, in his commentary on the Proverbs, says that the wisdom is “God-centered, and even when it is most down-to-earth it consists in the shrewd and sound handling of one’s affairs in God’s world; in submission to his will” (Kidner, Proverbs: An Introduction and Commentary, TOTC, 14). Therefore, whatever we learn about wisdom and foolishness in Proverbs has this at its base, mainly knowing how to navigate life according to God’s design.  Kidner also sees wisdom as a thread that runs through the OT simply because “God is self-consistent” and is thus revealed in all of the “themes of history, law, prophesy and apocalyptic” (Kidner, 14) writings. Therefore, we can conclude, like the authors of our textbook, that “God is the source and giver of wisdom, and in the theological principle of the fear of the Lord rooted in Israel’s covenant relationship with Yahweh” (Hill and Walton, Survey of OT, 441).
One final note that I think it important and will greatly influence the 3 practical ways to grow in wisdom: Kidner mentions that we should not stop at the old covenant, but that “a greater than Solomon was to come, choosing to teach in the forms and rhythms of the wise and and carrying their /māšāl/ to its ultimate perfection in his parables” (Kidner, 16). In defining wisdom we must necessarily go to Christ, not only in the definition, but especially in the application. Jesus’ life, death, burial and resurrection is the ultimate portrayal of wisdom—a wisdom that seems like foolishness to men, but reveals God’s incredible plan of salvation (1 Cor 1:26-31) for His glory. Paul’s point is that wisdom means being in Christ Jesus, “who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption” (1 Cor 1:30) and that the overall purpose in all of this is that our “faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (1 Cor 2:5).
Wisdom: —hearing instruction (1:8) —listening to reproof (1:23) —understanding of God will come (2:5) —leads to understanding of righteousness, justice, integrity, knowledge, discretion, deliverance (2:6-22) —leads to favor and good success in the sight of God and man (3:4) —means not being wise in your own eyes (3:7) —wisdom is turning from evil (3:7) —accepting discipline as from the Lord (3:11) —being attentive to instruction (4:1) —in getting wisdom, not forgetting it (4:5) —avoid evil at all costs (4:15ff) —consider the wisdom God has put before you (example of the ant ch.6) —memorizing God’s Word and instruction (6:20ff) —defines wisdom as instruction that is better than silver, gold or jewels (8:10-11) —wisdom is discerning what God hates (8:13) —understanding God’s sovereign rule over our world (8:22ff) —defines wisdom as a banquet “come eat and drink” and “live and walk in the way of insight” (9:1-6) —wisdom is instructing others (9:8) —the wise study and invest in knowledge (10:14) —blameless, upright, seeking counsel, gives freely (ch.11) —loves discipline and loves knowledge (12:1) and is willing to discipline his children (13:24) —promotes humility over vanity (12:9) —wisdom is good sense that wins favor (13:15) —fear of the Lord (which leads to wisdom) is a fountain of life (14:27) —a gentle answer, a gentle tongue (15:4) —wisdom leads to rejecting bribes and being fair (15:27) —being instructed in wisdom by the fear of the Lord (15:33) —slow to anger (16:32); good sense makes one slow to anger (19:11) —loves at all times (17:17) —wisdom is knowing that God’s name is a strong tower and to run into it and be safe (18:10) —intelligence is acquiring knowledge, seeking knowledge which leads to wisdom (18:15) —wisdom will affect subsequent generations (20:7) —allowing the Lord to execute justice and waiting for His deliverance (20:22) —seeing danger and responding appropriately (22:3) —speaking rightly leads to worship! (23:16) —wisdom is knowing when to speak, when to stay silent (25:11) —wisdom leads to contentment and understanding who we truly are (chapter 30 in particular) —chapter 31 is a good description of wisdom in action
Fear of the Lord = a desire for instruction + a heart of humility + God’s design for life which results in wisdom
Foolishness: —listening to evil plans (1:10ff) —refusing to listen; ignoring counsel (1:24-25) —leads to being cut off and rooted out (2:21-22) —rejecting discipline (3:11-12) —crooked speech, devious talk, swerving to right or left (4:24-27) —following after temptation (all of chapter 5, chapter 7 and the example of the adulteress) —sowing discord, perverted desires, slumber, lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, heart that devices wicked plans, false witness, one who sows discord (6:12-19) —pride and arrogance (8:13) —describes Folly as a loud, seductive and knows nothing who calls to fools and entices the simple (9:13ff) —sluggard, perverse mouth, slander, quick to talk, slow to speak (ch.10) —violence, cruel, evil, belittles, lacking sense, lacking discretion (ch.11) —a fool hates reproof and is stupid (12:1) —what is right in your own eyes (12:15) —despises the word and brings destruction (13:13) —the fool spares the rod and hates his son (13:24) —relying on a way that seems right to a man that leads to death (14:12) —a fool oppresses people and insults his Maker (14:31) —manifests in being hot tempered and stirring up strife (15:18) —a fool rejects wisdom and despises himself (15:32) —arrogance in heart (16:5) —plots evil, spreads strife, dishonest, violent, ignores evil (16:27ff) —listens to evil lips (17:4), seeks rebellion (17:11) —doesn’t seek to understand anything (18:2) —desire without knowledge brings a man to ruin because of his folly (19:2-3) —the fool stops listening to instruction which leads to straying from the words of knowledge or rejecting wisdom (19:27) —making rash vows! (20:25) —haughty eyes and a proud heart (21:4) —failing to see danger, but running ahead (22:3) —oppressing the poor to increase wealth (22:16) —giving oneself over to addiction (23:20, 30): examples within Proverbs are wine/strong drink, but also the adulteress and the prostitute —repeating folly is like a dog returning to vomit (26:11) : a good description of someone who continually rejects wisdom —foolishness is lack of self-control (15:28) —forsaking the law and praising the wicked (28:4)
Foolishness = rejection of instruction + arrogance + rejection of God’s design for life which results ultimately in death
3 ways to grow in wisdom based on Proverbs
1. Seek out wisdom by gaining instruction —in humility and with great purpose and intentionality —look for wise counselors in my life and ask for help —never stop learning and growing in knowledge and wisdom
2. Seek out wisdom by starting first with the fear of God —reject the temptation to define wisdom internally and by myself —work diligently to understand God’s Word so that my thinking, behavior and emotions are changed by God, not by culture or faulty sources
3. Understand wisdom by linking Proverbs to Jesus (or reading Proverbs through the lens of Jesus) —1 Cor 1:26 to 2:16 “for we have the mind of Christ” —relying on the Holy Spirit to give understanding and significance when reading through Proverbs and working to apply wisdom to myself, my family, my church and my ministry

tag game
tagged by @everestv
rules: pick 5 shows, then answer the following questions, don’t cheat. tag 10 (or however many) people.
i had to open netflix to check what i was watching for this adsghdg.  i don’t have.  time to watch tv anymore.  and i’m also a fiend for not actually finishing shows.  so in no particular order:
the umbrella academy
tales of the city (2019)
stranger things
i am not okay with this
black mirror
who is your favorite character in 2?
oh i love all of them sm :0  uhh either anna or shawna.  both icons in their own right
who is your least favorite character in 1?
hmmmm after all the Disk Horse in the fandom i really can say i’m trying my best to love all of them equally (and i think i do).  plus no matter what sibling i pick someone on here is gonna lose their shit at me.  so i’m cheating and saying LEONARD.  manipulative ass bitch reminds me of an ex friend who ruined my life.  fuck him and fuck her for that
what is your favorite episode of 4?
i’m not done this one yet but so far probably the party’s over (e3).  i am so fucking weak for party scenes with Dramatic Gay Realizations
what is your favorite season of 5?
ooooh.  s2 has white bear which is my all time fav ep but s3 has san junipero but s4 has black museum!! they’re all so good i can’t pick
who is your favorite couple in 3?
idk, i’m not too into the ship side of things especially in this one.  joyce and hop are cute tho
who is your favorite couple in 2?
there is no winning w this question they are all so god damn dysfunctional.  i mean almost nobody ends up in the same relationship by the end of the season.  i just want all of them to be the messy found family they are and that is my (non)answer
what is your favorite episode of 1?
hmmmmm maybe i heard a rumour (e8).  it hurt sm to watch :^)  or the white violin (e10) bc hrnngmn me big gay pretty girl in suit
what is your favorite episode of 5?
WHITE BEAR WHITE BEAR WHITE BEAR!!  i will yell abt this episode to anyone who will listen i love plot twists and i love moral dilemmas!!!!
what is your favorite season of 2?
there’s only one :(
how long have you watched 1?
since abt a week after it came out, but i watched it bc i saw the youtube trailer first so like january if you count that
how did you become interested in 3?
i don’t remember actually!  i think my nan (she’s a badass, loves scary movies as much as i do) started watching it and told me it was really good, and now we’re keeping up on it together.
who is your favorite actor in 4?
oh they’re all doing so good tho…  either sophia lillis or wyatt oleff bc they also kicked ass in it
which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?
i haven’t seen black mirror in a while so it’s down to two…. and both of them are go-to comfort shows for me… ugh it really depends on my mood.  totc is less stressful tho as a rule
which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
i mean one has 3 seasons.  do the math.  (do it.  ur assignment is due on my desk friday at 5pm)
if you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
!! i mean the chance to have superpowers seems cool and all but i cannot lose my dad for them.  i’d be a fucking wreck.  i’ll pick dina, it seems like she has her shit together for the most part
would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?
like i said i haven’t finished ianowt so bear with me through any plot holes but YES ABSOLUTELY
so in the last st season, the byers moved away.  let’s say they moved to a little town in pennsylvania.  let’s also say they’re in the same timeline bc fuck you i’m god
and in this little town there is another short-haired superpowered weirdo teen who, somehow, is less well-adjusted than the girl who was experimented on for most of her life
so syd meets el at school, and through shenanigans, they figure out they both have powers!! what!!
i’m thinking syd could learn to control hers a bit better through el, and el could learn abt high school and more pop culture and making friends by not escaping a government facility and living in said friend’s basement for a week :)
will is a little bit of a space-cadet weirdo, stan is a little bit of a space-cadet weirdo… make friends maybe? i could see stan getting weirdly into dnd especially the rp side of it.  he probably plays a druid powered solely by Marajooana and thinks it’s comedy genius
WAIT get the whole gang from both shows into a campaign… hell yeh that’d be a mess i’d pay to watch
overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?
ok bm doesn’t even HAVE a consistent plot and it’s still better than the Evil Russians™ st pulled out of their ass last season.  i love this show but i cannot defend it over that the plot has gone off the goddamn rails lately
which has the better theme music, 2 or 4?
oh 4, duh.  it’s way more my style tbh
tagging: @miss-galaxy-turtle @pyrostrix @franklywhelmed @smallsisnotthrowingawayhershot @nervousenergyyyy no pressure if you don’t want to do it!!  i don’t know most of you anyway so sorry if it’s like.  weird

Tango on the Campania (Ishikawa run) Review
This is a fan review of the Ishikawa run of Musical Kuroshitsuji: Tango on the Campania (TotC), for both 3rd February (setsubun special) and 4th February shows. I also had a glorious close-up view of Ciel and Sebastian when they appeared behind my seat. SO READ ON TO FIND OUT MORE!
Tumblr media
ABOUT ME
I have been watching Kuromyu ever since the first musical. I am glad to be able to finally watch it live in person after all these years. I am also a huge musical nerd, and am musically and dance trained. I also live in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, right now.
I attended the opening show on Saturday and the closing show on Sunday! Super happy to be part of the special setsubun celebration during the curtain call, and I’ll share more later in this review. My seats were on row 10 (Saturday) and row 18 (sunday), so I am pretty close to the stage!
This review will not contain huge spoilers or a full summary of the entire plot, so you can go ahead and continue reading without dying from spoilers.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
Tumblr media
IT. WAS. AMAZING! I was pretty bummed about the circus version last year because the music was just...bad. Pretty sure their entire budget went into the costumes and acrobatics department instead of music
For TotC, It is pretty fast paced but it has the key stuff from the Campania arc! The set is beautiful, the Bizarre Dolls were great, dance choreography marvellous as usual. Kudos to the supporting cast! There was no bad singing at all (unlike in Noah’s Ark Circus).  You’ll tear up at the sad parts and you’ll get chills at the scary parts and great singing! It’s THAT good!
There are some slight changes in the Saturday and Sunday ad-libbed parts, in consideration to fans who attended both days. Bless them! <3
Tumblr media
MUSIC & SONGS
The music in TotC was so good! But of course, it cannot beat the masterpiece of Lycoris featuring our vocal prowess Akane Liv. Yuta Furukawa (Sebastian) was so good, and his songs really show off his vocal talent.
My favourite song is ‘私は執事、あなたは伯爵’ (I am a butler and you are an Earl), especially Part 2 reprise of this song when Sebastian sings about Ciel’s soul after realising his little Master isn’t content with just being an Earl and wants revenge. The lyrics then changed to ‘I am a demon butler and you are a fake Earl’. So so SO GOOD!!
The other side characters had very nice songs too, especially the 2nd comic-relief song ‘Ey yo, Ey yo!’ sung by Viscount Druitt. It was hilarious! Druitt is a GREAT singer and in his first song, he did this flamboyant pose and crooned ‘PHOENIIIIiiiIIIX~!’ at his entrance. Yes, lucky dude got to sing two solos! I know some of you may be thinking oh man, a comic-relief song when zombies are killing everyone? Don’t worry! Because the whole second half of the story was super intense, the comic relief song by Druitt was refreshing and helps steer us out of this depressive wave. This song ended with Ciel, Sebastian, Grell, Ronald doing the fabulous mass Phoenix pose that is exactly like in the manga! The dancers encouraged us in the audience to clap along too!
The actress for Lizzie sang really well in her solo song too! Her voice was very cute and she kept up the moe-vibe. But her song was really sad and some people cried when she sang about ditching everything to be cute for Ciel.
BIZARRE DOLLS
The Bizarre Dolls (supporting cast) was marvellous! Their zombie-walk was great and their dance choreography was to die for (pun not intended). Remember the basement scene where Ciel, Lizzie and Snake discover thousands of coffins with Bizzare Dolls rising from the dead? The show used a projection screen to project the rattling coffins and it looks really good and realistic! Then suddenly, this screen was raised to reveal a hoard of Bizarre Dolls lunging forward for them. Accompanied by the music, I literally got chills running all over my skin.
To make up for the lack of BIzarre Dolls, extra zombie mannequin dolls were used and tossed around to fill up the zombie numbers on stage.
FLOODING & SINKING SHIPS
Screen projections were used to create many of the effects on the ship. They used a transparent projection screen to project the rising flood-waters as well as water raining down from the ceiling. It was pretty realistic considering they cannot have real knee-length water flooding the stage.
Projections were also used to show the Campania breaking in half and when the ship started tilting as it sank!
KEY/ FAVOURITE MOMENTS
1. The playback of the pre-show announcements featured Reo’s super cute voice. I could see some fans of him squealing when they heard his voice.
2. Characters (AbberHank duo, Midford family, Ciel, Sebastian and Snake, Ronald) entered the stage from the audience exits and not from stage left/right. I am not sure if it is done at other shows or just for Ishikawa. In previous musicals, they did not have character entrances from the audience except for Hank/Abberline.
In the Saturday show, Ciel, Sebastian and Snake appeared and stood behind my seat (to my shock and delight). I could see their gloriousness up close! Reo/Ciel was just scowling and man, Reo is so skinny up close! His black tights made his legs look like chicken legs! Yuta/Sebastian looked utterly (and perfectly) demonic! I swear my heart stopped beating right there and then. Unfortunately, my Sunday show seats were further back but the trio did not stop behind my Saturday seat but instead continued walking towards the stage.
3. The opening for TotC is also different from previous musicals. We usually start the musicals with the contract scene but this time around, we had a Campania song with the characters boarding the ship.
4. The amount of Campania wordplay jokes..god! They were so funny!
(While boarding the ship)
Abberline: I heard they are selling merchandise on the ship.
Hank: What? What kind?
Abberline: Cam-badge (Campania + can badge)
Audience: LOL
-------------------------------------------------
(At the banquet)
Ronald, Abberline, Hank: Kampai-nia! (kampai (cheers) + Campania)
5. Yuta/Sebastian & Reo/Ciel doing the Phoenix pose was hilarious! Reo/Ciel was wearing heels so he was wobbling on one leg. The rich man from the Aurora Society circled Reo/Ciel to make sure he is keeping his Phoenix pose and the audience laughed.
In the Sunday show, poor Reo actually lost his footing but thankfully Yuta quickly caught his hand to stabilise him! It looks so authentic and in-character, and it delighted the audience! I am so sad that this probably won’t be in the DVD release...
6. Ryan Stoker also interviewed the front row audience about what is the most crucial thing aside from life, and the poor lady (on both days) kept giggling uncontrollably.
7. In the scene where Yuta/Sebastian fights the hoard of Bizarre Dolls in the ship’s basement, a giant red silk cloth was run over the audience’s heads towards the stage to signify a bloodbath/ wave of blood. This scene then led to the belated contract scene song!
8. YES. THERE IS AN ICE-BERG IN THE MUSICAL! It is huge, it is fabulous and it had Grell standing on top of it as it neared and crashed into the ship! What a fabulous entrance!
9. Yes, the fan-favourite scene of Sebastian calling Grell a hentai (pervert) is in the musical and it is super hilarious.
Grell: Ehhhh. So mean! I even bought some bromides (of myself) as presents.
Audience: LOL
10. Lizzie’s badass reveal was perfectly executed! She even did the same fighting choreography in the anime movie! She also the same poses in the manga! It was so good and I think Momoko really delivered and a perfect casting choice.
11. Undertaker’s shinigami reveal was really nice too! HIS DEATH SCYTHE IS GLORIOUS!!!!
12. In the stabbing scene, both Reo and Yuta were lifted by the supporting cast so it looks like they are ‘falling’ off from the top floor. The projection screen behind then projected the blood splatter as Undertaker’s scythe stabbed through Sebastian’s torso.
13. My favourite part in the whole musical is when Sebastian narrated his initial life as a butler to Ciel. As we all know our!Ciel is not the real Ciel! Reo actually portrayed our!Ciel very well. He hesitated before calling himself with his dead twin brother’s name. Sebby says 「 かしこまりました/ I understand.」 in the most super lazy, sarcastic and reluctant way, it was super funny. In the Sunday show, Yuta/Sebastian sat on the Earl’s bed after serving him milk & honey, which led to Reo/Ciel shoving him off. Yuta/Sebastian also made a ‘tsk’ sound when Reo/Ciel reprimanded him about cooking everything from scratch like a real human butler should. And as he walked away, he spat out 「クソガキ」(stupid brat) before launching into my favourite song  ‘私は執事、あなたは伯爵’ (I am a butler and you are an Earl
14. The final Bizzare Doll fight scene in the middle of the ocean was beautifully executed. You can refer to the official trailer on the website to see how it was done!
15. Grell was more worried about his false eyelashes after Ronald and Grell found a boat. It was super funny!
16. The musical ended with a reprise of ‘私は執事、あなたは伯爵‘  and the Campania theme song.
SETSUBUN SPECIAL CURTAIN CALL
So setsubun was on Saturday and the cast prepared a special curtain call for us! Abberline and Hank did their ad-libbed comedy routine, and here are some of my favourite parts:
Hank:「鬼はoutside!福はinside!」(starts rapping)...あ、でも、鬼がいないので‥ (‘Oni outside, luck inside, ahh, but there aren’t any oni inside here...)
Hank: Oh, look so many oni! (gestures to audience)
Abberline: Oi, don’t be rude! (smacks his head)
Hank: ...you’re right, there is only one oni...(gestures to one poor audience member in the first row)
Audience & Cast: LOL
Abberline:じゃ、「鬼はなし!福は内!」にしてた!(Well, let’s do `There is no Oni, Luck is inside’ then!)
The supporting cast then entered the hall and spread out, they tossed packets of 福豆 at us. I did not manage to catch a packet but the lady beside me did. Lucky girl....
Tumblr media
The main cast also threw the packets of beans and Reo/Ciel got too excited and tried to fling the packet further out, and his Phantomhive ring flew out from his finger. He had to leap off the stage to recover it from the first row. The AbberHank emcees teased him about it
How can Earl Ciel do that?
That’s not something Ciel will do? (LOL)l
SATURDAY & SUNDAY CHANGES
As mentioned earlier, the cast made an effort to make every show unique so it doesn’t matter if you attend just one show or many shows. Each show has special changes in the actions and ad-libbed dialogue. Here are some of my favourites:
1.  Opening Entrance: On Saturday, Abberhanks appeared together in the audience. On Sunday, only Hanks appeared alone and was super happy. But he met Abberline as he was walking to the ship who pretended not to recognise him.
Hank: Aren’t you Fred Abberline?
Abberline: No, I am Fured Abburraineee...(exaggerated accent)
Hank: No-th-that, besides the accent. The name is the same isn’t it? Fred Abberline!
Abberline: It’s Fured Abburraineee...
2.  Banquet scene: Ronald taught Abberline how to pick up ladies, but Abberline was being socially awkward when flirting with them in the Sunday show. The trio only kept drinking in the Saturday show.
3. Ronald & Grell on a boat scene: In the Sunday show, Grell ad-libbed something random. Not sure if he forgot his lines but it was really funny...
Grell: (pauses before gesturing to the sky)  Look so many birds, I want to be a bird too...
Ronald: (bursts out laughing)
4. Curtain call: We did not have long thank you speeches on Saturday due to the Setsubun special. But we had it on Sunday for the closing show.
Abberline: TADAIMAAAAA ~!  Audience: OKAERIIIIIIIII~!
Congratulations, you made it all the way to the end of my super long review!
I will attend the live-viewing of their final performance at the cinema again on the 12th  (just so I can see the set/costumes and all that in super high-definition on the big screen). Also I kinda wanna see the cast start crying when they make their final thank you speeches! Also because they mentioned we will be watching exclusive back-stage clips and I really wanna watch it!
Please, please PLEASE order a copy of the DVD/BLU-RAY. Please support the cast and giving them a well-deserved income from these sales.
The DVD/BLU-RAY will be released in Japan in June 27. You can order it off CDJapan, Amazon Japan or Animate International.   I will be buying a copy myself as well!

TOTC Book 1: Ch. 2 "The Mail"
TW: talk of robbery, crime (although neither actually happen), weapons
Quick recap: Ch 1 tells us that, in London, one mail man was murdered; this allowed all mail to be "robbed in peace." The citizens of London knew this, and would have been scared to travel with the mail. We know that anything connected to the mail now can foreshadow death and other major crimes.
Now to the notes. We are introduced to "the first of the persons with whom this history has business." This person and other passengers are currently walking uphill because the carriage would be too heavy for the horses to drag through the mud, otherwise. While this is happening, Dickens uses A LOT of descriptive words to lead the reader to feel uneasy - "unwholesome," "reek," "forlornness," etc. All of these words are used to describe the horses, who lead the passengers into this uneasiness. Dickens also wants us to know its foggy with "steaming," "mist," and "throughout the air in ripples that visibly followed." This description of the fog gives the reader a sense of unknowing.
There are three passengers, a guard, and a coachman. One of the passengers will be identified later (we'll get to that in this chapter), but as of right now they are all unidentifiable. Each person is covered head-to-toe because it's cold, they cannot tell who each other are either, and the guard is armed. The passengers are suspicious of each other, and Dickens tells us that the coachman doesn't even trust anyone but the horses. It's 11:10 P.M., and the bunch is not yet at the top of the hill - aptly named "Shooter's."
When the group finally reaches the top of the hill, they stop to rest. This is when they hear a horse quickly approaching them. The guard gets ready for a confrontation, and calls out to the man on the horse to identify himself. The rider asks if this carriage is the Dover Mail, and requests Mr. Jarvis Lorry to receive a message. The passengers all but push Mr. Lorry out of the carriage; we learn later that while Lorry receives this message, the passengers hide their valuables in their boots and pretend to be asleep. Mr. Lorry identifies the messenger on the horse as a man named Jerry, and tells the guard that he (Lorry) works for Tellson's Bank. Lorry also tells the guard that Jerry can be trusted, although the guard does not agree. Jerry hands Lorry a note that says, "Wait at Dover for Mam'selle," to which Lorry tells Jerry to respond "RECALLED TO LIFE." Once this interaction is finished, Jerry waits until the carriage is on its way before walking down the hill, himself (he's also talking to himself, but that's just Jerry, he does that). On the way down the hill, the coachman and the guard discuss how strange the interaction was.
Dickens again uses unsettling language like "descent," "beneath," and "torches." To me, it feels like the carriages descent into hell. Also, the guard feels like Charon, the Greek minor god who paddled the boat across the Rivers Styx (google refers to him as the "cosmic ferryman;" that isn't important, but it is, you know?"). I am not certain that is what Dickens was going for here, but that is the image I came up with.
Anyway, back to Jerry. When Jerry is talking to himself, he repeats his name. In my opinion, this is foreshadowing his importance later. Dickens throws his name at the reader multiple times because he wants the reader to remember Jerry later (trust me, he's important). Also, the term "RECALLED TO LIFE" is extremely important. Although Dickens only says the phrase once or twice, he discusses at length how weird it is to say multiple times. We find out in a later chapter why Recalled to Life is so important. Really, think of Recalled to Life as the mantra of this book.

Hebrews 10:5-7
My translation:
5 Therefore, coming into the world, he says, “Sacrifices and offerings You did not desire, but a body You prepared for me; 6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings You were not pleased. 7 Then I said, ‘Look, I have come, in the roll of the scroll it has been written concerning me, In order to do, O God, Your will.’”
Notes:
Verse 5
διό is “therefore” (most translations); ESV, NRSV: “consequently”; NET: “so”.
The present participle εἰσερχόμενος (from εἰσέρχομαι) is temporal-contemporaneous with λέγει.
εἰς τὸν κόσμον is locative modifying εἰσέρχομαι. εἰς is almost always repeated with the compound verb. NIGTC says ‘“Coming into the world” is a Jewish expression for birth.’
The citation is from Psalm 40:6-8 (39:7-9 LXX). There are a few differences from the Septuagint text.
ἡ προσφορά (9x, 5 of which are in Hebrews 10), from προσφέρω, is “offering”. Θυσίαν καὶ προσφορὰν is the compound direct object of ἠθέλησας.
The implied subject of the 2s aorist ἠθέλησας (from θέλω) is God.
Our author follows his LXX for σῶμα, but some manuscripts of the LXX instead have ὠτία, the accusative plural of ὠτίον, “ear”, following the Masoretic text. EGGNT says that while it is possible this is due to an error in transcription, more likely a scribe saw “ear” as metonymy for the whole body. Kidner (TOTC) says the Hebrew phrase, “the Lord God has opened my ear”, refers to ‘the Servant’s training in perception and obedience’, but that the Greek phrasing similarly ‘carries forward the sense of dedication implied in the Hebrew text.’
καταρτίζω (13x), “I prepare”, is from κατά + ἀρτύω (3x), “I make ready”; the κατά- prefix may denote thoroughness. κατηρτίσω is the 2s aorist middle; the implied subject is God. In case you forgot (as I did), -σω is the regular 2s aorist middle ending. The direct object is σῶμα, and it is modified by the dative of advantage μοι.
Verse 6
τό ὁλοκαύτωμα (3x), from ὅλος + καίω “I burn”, is “holocaust”, “whole burnt offering” (NASB, HCSB, NET). ESV, NRSV, NIV: “burnt offerings”; CEV: “animal sacrifices”.
EGGNT says περὶ ἁμαρτίας (lit. “concerning sin”) is a technical term for “sin offerings” (most translations); NASB: “sacrifices for sin”.
εὐδοκέω (21x) is, “I am pleased” (NIV, CEV). ESV, NASB, NRSV: “take pleasure”; HCSB, NET: “delight”. ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ περὶ ἁμαρτίας is the compound direct object of the aorist εὐδόκησας. Instead of εὐδόκησας, the LXX has ᾔτησας (from αἰτέω). These statements about God not desiring the very sacrifices which he prescribed in the Mosaic law can be troublesome. UBS Handbook says, ‘It is probable that these statements are not meant literally; this is rather an emphatic way of saying “Sacrifices are not the only thing you want.” It is recommended, however, that the translation faithfully represent the meaning of these two absolute statements: God does not want, nor does he require, that his people offer him sacrifices.’
Verse 7
EGGNT says ἰδοὺ (2s aorist imperative of ὁράω) ‘draws attention to what follows’. ESV, NASB: “Behold”; NRSV, HCSB: “See”; NIV, NET: “Here I am”.
ἥκω (26x) is, “I have come”.
In most translations, ἐν ... ἐμοῦ is set aside as a parenthetical, or moved to the end of the verse.
ἡ κεφαλίς, a hapax legomenon, refers to the knob at the end of a scroll, and by extension the roll itself. EGGNT says that κεφαλίδι βιβλίου together simply refers to, “scroll” (NIV). NASB, ESV, NRSV, NET: “the scroll of the book”; HCSB: “the volume of the scroll”.
The perfect γέγραπται (from γράφω) is impersonal: “it has been written”; most translations: “it is written”.
περὶ ἐμοῦ is “about me” (NIV, HCSB); other translations: “of me”.
The articular aorist infinitive τοῦ ποιῆσαι (from ποιέω), indicating purpose, is complementary with ἥκω (although in the LXX, τοῦ ποιῆσαι modifies the following ἐβουλήθην, outside of the citation).
ὁ θεὸς functions as a vocative.
τὸ θέλημά σου is the direct object of ποιέω. In the Septuagint, this phrase comes between ποιῆσαι and ὁ θεός.

Chasing Kade by Anna Paige
March 17
My Review
Kade and Aubrey had an awesomely intense relationship. The pages were on fire once they get together. I loved the way he goaded her. She knew just how to handle him too. Kane was a sweetheart. I’m so glad we got ourselves the first Thrill of The Chase story. I’ve wanted to know more about them since I read All the Broken Pieces. Loved this story!
* I voluntarily read an advanced reader’s copy of this book*
Title: Chasing Kade
Series: Thrill of the Chase #1
Author: Anna Paige
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 17, 2017
Blurb
There's no such thing as too much fun…
Wrong.
Incredibly, immeasurably, categorically false.
Try: It's all fun and games until someone ends up in the tabloids.
Again.
Kade Edenfield was rock royalty. If every rock god in history gathered for dinner, his seat would be at the head of the table. He was that good. His band was elevated to a level few ever reached, and he was having the time of his life.
Until one misstep too many landed him on the front page of every gossip rag around the globe, and the band's label decided to saddle them with a PR priss whose sole mission in life was to suck the fun right out of his.
He wanted her gone.
Until he realized he just plain wanted her.
Aubrey Taylor didn’t ask to be assigned to babysit a band full of troublemakers, but she wasn’t given a choice. Wanted or not, she intended to fix the mess they’d made. She’d do it quickly, efficiently, and then she’d get the hell out of there. Unfortunately, after meeting their openly hostile singer—the one with the notoriously menacing stare—it was clear she was in over her head. When Kade made a point to challenge her at every turn, unafraid of using intimidation to get her to back down, she found herself in even deeper trouble.
While she ‘officially’ resented and feared him, their power struggle secretly turned her on.
She desperately wanted to win their little standoff, but what was she supposed to do when she realized she wanted him even more?

Excerpt
I turned back to the table, not wanting to look at Kade. "Are you aware of how many groups have formed strictly for the two of you?" I asked Kane, navigating away from the hoo-ha pic as quickly as possible and looking up the largest group I'd found. "This one is dedicated strictly to the pursuit of 'doubling down' with the Edenfield twins. It's scary how many thousands—thousands—of members are in this group. All looking to hook up with the two of you. I only found it because the recent pics of Kade have been photoshopped so many times by this group. They're using a mirror image of Kade, shifting it until it looks like both of you are there, then adding themselves to the pic so they appear to be sandwiched between the two of you. And some of them look startlingly real. That's how I discovered the group to begin with, I was half-convinced the pics were genuine when I first saw them."
My fingers flew over the keys, navigating the discussion boards. "They even have 'elite' and 'platinum' members who all swear they have hooked up with at least one of you—those are platinum—and sometimes both of you—that would be the highly-coveted elite status." I rolled my eyes, scrolling the list. It was suspiciously long, which made it even less believable than it already was.
Kane leaned over, eyeing the list. "I'd like to think I'd remember all of those."
"Yeah, but a few might be legit." This from Kade.
Kane and I both spun to look at him.
"The fuck, dude?" Kane cut his eyes to me. "That's on the 'need to know' list and she didn't need to know."
I sat there for a minute trying to school my expression so that they couldn't see the shock on my face. My mind was trying to formulate a response but I couldn't conjure a single appropriate reaction.
"Oh, I'm sure she already knows all of our dirty little secrets. How else can she be expected to fix us if she doesn't know exactly how fucked up we really are?" He glared at me. "Bet that's why she's so afraid. She's seen all the skeletons in the closet."
"She didn't know, dumbass. Look at her.” Kane sounded concerned enough that I was momentarily convinced he’d start snapping his fingers in my face to try and check my response. “She's… I don't know what to call it… stunned? Appalled?" "Intrigued?" Kade hungrily dragged his gaze along my face and neck.
Author Bio
Anna Paige is the author of the Broken series; Broken Ground, Flawlessly Broken, and All the Broken Pieces, as well as the Thrill of the Chase series. The first TotC novel--Chasing Kade--is releasing in March. She lives in a rural town in North Carolina where the only activity is the rhythmic color change of the solitary stoplight and a very real threat of being carried away by mosquitoes. The only alternative to terminal boredom is writing, making life interesting if only on the page. Anna is happily married, with one amazing son and a pair of hilarious pets. When she’s not writing, she’s trying to make a dent in her TBR pile. Given that she’s constantly adding new titles to the list, the chances of her ever finishing are slim. And she’s completely fine with that.

Crustafied: a rye whiskey variation on the Brandy Crusta along with some notes on what's next in cocktails.
Are you going to Tales this year? Can we meet at Tales? I’m reaching out to you about meeting up at TOTC… Sorry guys, I did not attend Tales of the Cocktail this year. I really don’t know when I’ll make that happen, if ever. However, I was able to bypass the crowds and the sweltering, miserable 105° heat with god-knows-how-high humidity and just look at everyone’s Instagram and Twitter and quite…

Creator, Leader of Creations and ex-Being of all that exists.
Creator use to be the the True Being (the term "being" is a "god" in the TOTC Universe), up until his first physical creation Jehova (The God that all human society knows of) turned on him and took Creator's light. Thus Jehova was the only being to have a physical form, so he gave the being Death his body as well out of Creator's entity material. However, Death knew who was the true being since Creator made Death's entity existent before Jehova was even born. Soon after a few more beings were born from the works of Jehova, Creator's body came last, as Jehova does not want to share the credit of the world's existence with any other being but himself. Creator soon asked Jehova to stop making things from Creator's own body, although he was everything and everything is unlimited, Creator had emotion and senses. It pained Creator to be used as a tool to make Jehova's "children" and other makings of his own. This did not please Jehova that Creator finally voiced his own mind and feelings, so Creator's body was torn into many pieces and spread across universes and the mother universe that is of Creator's own creation. These pieces were either sentiment, or as well as being entities, however, the bigger pieces were known as Black Matter Animals. As Black Matter is was Creator is, and Black Matter is the core mold of all that exists. There were many of these Animals, but the numbers soon depleted due to them fading into nothing to become one with everything, or they combined to become a new animal. Eventually, there were only three, a lion, wolf, and a crowd raven hybrid. These three were the last, but did not falter. These three were the ones to soon rebirth and become Creator.
