Since you’ve been answering a lot of worldbuilding questions, I’m kind of curious to know what the architecture of each country/planet is like?
I am going to be using picture references in this, most ripped from pinterest (apologies in advance, I'm aware of the ethics but don't have energy for the extra legwork rn).
Andros
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A blend of old and new, with beige sandstone and white as dominating colours. Most places utilise blocky shapes to create shaded interior gardens. Andros's vibes are inspired by West African coasts and surrounding islands.
Solaria
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another inspired use of light coloured stone. A lot of Roman/Hellenistic influences in Selenite architecture, while Rai leans more Mesoamerican, both infused with byzantine opulence and solarpunk technology.
Domino
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Very medieval-esque, but due to good magical conservation. Cities showcase designs from all over the centuries, from Tudour lodges to neoclassical urban houses to modern takes on traditionalism. A surprising amount of bright colours used on the exterior.
Zenith
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because of the cold, most public spaces - malls, courtyards and to some extent pavements are covered in transparent tube systems. Multi-tier highway systems with quick elevators criss-cross the cityscape of Zenith's towns. A lot of metal, glass and artificial illumination is used. Sometimes more clean-cut, sometimes more industrial.
Melody
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A charming blend of traditional tiered buildings with sloping roofs and inspired modern use of steel and glass. Stacked together for population density reasons in the liveable areas and to create more shaded public spaces. If walkways are covered, it is with lightweight wood for shade.

This is so random but I was reading a Tudours fic where the reader is arranged to be married to Charles... I remember the reader having two older sisters who slept with him and the reader was still a virgin because her father wanted to protect her honour and stuff. Charles also wanted to take her overseas on business immediately after the wedding. My tumblr crashed before i could like or reblog and i can't find it in any tags now! Sorry if this is weird I just thought someone might know it
Can anyone help!?

Favorite English Royal Dynasties
Ok, everyone. Time to rank your favorite dynasties in British royal history. I am focusing more on England as that is my expertise. Feel free to include Scottish, Welsh or Irish dynasties of which I need to learn more about!!!
1- Plantagenets
My absolute favorites. Drama, intrigue, love, passion, hatred. Even with hundreds of years between us and them, they manage to have such interesting stories. Amazing characters all of them. One day I hope to make a Manga based on them. Still under works though lol. Their men and women were all just so unbelievable but real at the same time. I like to think they were all an extreme of human emotions. Just fascinating. Also just my opinion but they were the hottest dynasty too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2-House of Windsor
Ok, I know they are technically Hanovers but women don't matter so here we are. I think the Windsors are a nice balance. We have had drama but with respect to the people ya know? No bloodshed or sieges but still that nice dose. Also, it is a produced people like George VI, Lizzie, Hottie Wills, and the amazing Cambridge children.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3-House of Wessex
I must admit, I only know the most basic info on these guys but boy was I intrigued. I mean one of them literally slept with a mother and daughter in a three some whilst his coronation banquet was going on. And Alfred the Great is just so *chef's kiss". And don't even get me started on their remarkable women. Just an amazing dynasty all over. They would be no.2 once I read more about them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4-Hanoverians
Another intriguing dynasty. The Windsors are part of this which makes them better. I think though less interesting than the Plantagenets, they made a lot of change. They essentially formed modern Britain and with some of the most intriguing stories. Also love how they seemed to have such amazing members and then some really shitty ones. A lot variety compared to the Plans(can't keep spelling it sorry) who were all pretty much shitty 🤣
Tumblr media
5-The Stuarts
Here is the first one that I am not a huge fan of. I have a mega crush on James II but that's about it. I mean there are some awesome stories but the characters themselves are sooo...bland. they aren't as crazy as the ones above you know. They just had terrible luck.
Tumblr media
6- Normans
Ok I have nothing against these guys except that they didn't last long enough for them to be interesting? Like William I, II and Henry were all so mediocre. No major characters whose stories shock you. I guess Papa William was something but eh
Tumblr media
Last....drumrolls....No points for guessing this one.
7-The Tudours
I really don't like them. To my surprise they are the most popular dynasty in terms of historical interest. I mean I can see why. It seems to have the factor. But for me, they are not "human" enough. They really thought of themselves as God's representatives or something. That is my problem with the Stuart's too. The other three had this sense of human emotions that these two just don't. Things got a lot more political and the monarchs themselves seemed to be living in their bubble.
Tumblr media
This is all just my opinion. What is yours??? I really want to know so please answer. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed! To anyone who read this long post, you are true friend!
Also, I had more photos but Tumblr only allows 10 on the app so I had to make do 🙃

15. What historical figure would you like to be?
Damn....that is a tough one. There have been so many great women. Yes, I would go woman.
I have so many that I adore but I would have to say Elizabeth I. I love the Tudour history line. Love history...I have shelves and shelves I need to read and reread.

hi, mishka !! i'm ur secret santa for this season. just wanted to roll on in and say hi. i hope your day's going great. :) what's your favourite thing abt urself?
Hello! How exciting loool, sorry for the late reply, I’ve been busy and panicky about exams but they’re thankfully over! I don’t really like anything about myself, but I used to like my creative flare!
When I was younger I’d make all sorts of projects like small theatres, viking ships, tudour houses instead of taking naps. Mum used to force me to sleep but I’d wriggle out of bed on the sly (she knew I’d left so maybe not so sly) and I’d start getting creative.
As I grew older, I did paintings (I’m not very good but I do enjoy it), I wrote stories (still writing, not as often though) and I made LOADS of home movies based on birthday parties and New Year’s parties that myself and my family would organise for our friends and relatives. I got into embroidery, digital art and all sorts but as I got busier and busier with GCSEs, A-Levels and now University, I’ve sort of lost it all and I really miss it! Sometimes I look back and can’t believe how many ideas I had and my motivation was sky-high! Wish I had all of that back.

Wow, I guess do don't believe he killed the princes in the tower then? If not who do you think did?
I absolutely do not believe he did it. I was trying to find the post I did why I don’t believe he had anything to do with it. I can’t find it and I am very mad about that lol. Anyway, henry tudour was absolute trash and so was his entire dynasty. The tudors unlike anyone before them manipulated history A LOT. Richard III was not stupid at all. No way, that he would kill them whilst they were under him. I feel like there was something, an important part of the puzzle that we are missing. It’s hilarious because when Perkin Warbeck, a pretender who claimed to be the second Prince in the Tower came out, then henry started desperately to kill the boy. Clearly, he did not care much for the fate of the princes. It was all a facade to ruin Richard’s reputation. Richard did not have the motive or any benefit from doing such a thing. It was also very uncharacteristic of him.
I think it was someone under Richard, namely, the Duke of Buckingham. He was a possible successor to the crown and he was authoritative enough to have access to the tower.  My other theory is that they died of natural causes. Edward, the older one, was said to get frequent toothaches and had a physician by him. Maybe he had tooth cancer of sorts. And perhaps the younger one was allowed to leave which might explain Perkin Warbeck, and he apparently really looked like Edward IV. What I find strange is that there is no court document suggesting that Richard spoke about it. He spoke about the death of his wife and his rumored affair with his niece. Surely, he would have said something about the princes? Not to mention that it was customary in those times to present the dead bodies of the heirs and such to clear any doubts. It is just so odd that we are told it was never addressed. Things didn’t work like that.
All I know for sure is that Richard had nothing to do with it.
