Jane The Killer

~ Okay, we all know that Jane is a lesbian and that she is married so I will focus on these points. At the beginning of his relationship with his wife (Mary) she was closed to herself! Even though his wife, girlfriend at the time, told him to feel comfortable, she became more confident over time!

~ I see Jane as a very strong woman, she is one of the most badass creepypastas! In my opinion, she wouldn't be a feminist person... She just tends to care a lot about women since she has already suffered at the hands of Jeff.

Laughing Jack

~ This guy has serious problems with children, a lot of lack of trust! But he's very good at what he does, and he's very manipulative. He really doesn't like children as much as (Jill) does, but he may even give polite children a chance, well that would be very rare, since he hates them.

~ Let's say he realizes that a child attracts him because he is polite, outgoing, fun or something like that. He will probably be a little "disgusted" in the first few days, but he would be able to put up with it. That is until she starts to grow up and make him feel less loved. Note: He has clearly been abandoned, has trust issues, meaning he doesn't trust anyone. Another important thing! He really thinks Mat*r is some kind of joke. Nobody explained this matter to him

Hoodie/Brian

~ Let's talk about Hoodie now, well the things I know about this guy are really mixed after all there are several things within the fandoms (MH and Creepypasta) that is, I'm going to mix some things! Hoodie is very good with cameras, he knows where to put them, how to configure them, how to record something correctly, he would be a proxy "cameraman" but he doesn't just record of course!

~ Hoodie/Brian, they are quiet, I would say closed to themselves even though they have a very old friendship with Tim/Masky, I would say they are still reserved enough to be difficult to investigate! It is generally not reported or invoked much, but it can be very well located by recording something or someone.

Masky/Tim

~ Masky, like Hoodie, can very well use a camera, but these two are very different and I will say this, Masky/Tim are totally different people and I can explain that!

-Called Multiple Personality Disorder in the past, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is a very complex mental disorder in which there is the presence of two or more identities or personality states that take control of the person's behavior.

-Masky is a more closed person, being more aggressive with people, serious and in some aspects a perfectionist with EVERYTHING he does

Kate the Chaser

~ Kate is one of the least talked about creepypasta in my opinion, it's very rare to see someone talk about this proxy. Her first appearance if I'm not mistaken was in Slenderman The Arrival, where her best friend "Lauren" was looking for her. Kate must have been one of the first proxies (Along with Hoodie)

~ Kate is quite a runner, she usually stays in forests and her mask is more peculiar with a deformed mouth, her appearance that becomes visible is her medium black hair, Kate is one of the creepys that I think has a lot of potential even if she doesn't She is very well known, she is someone who is quieter, she doesn't have many friends, of those we know she was a faithful friend of, it was only her friend "Lauren" who she was friends with since she was little, Kate lived in a place further away from the city. She gradually grew older, to the point where her house, besides being dirty, was full of bizarre Operator/Slenderman drawings.

Homicidal Liu

~ After Jeff tried to kill Liu, but he survived, he ended up in a hospital. Falling in love with the nurse, ending up with her, unfortunately she dies in a "robbery". Liu will eventually no longer believe in happiness, and kills everyone around him who is happy! (I'm terrible at making summaries)

~ Liu is a very intelligent, serious person, polite to anyone he wants and even though he hates Jeff, he never disregards him as a brother! He just wants to kill him just like Jane. Speaking of which, I feel like he would probably team up with Jane if necessary to kill his brother in one way or another.

~ There is a ship between him and Nurce Ann, I won't touch on the subject because I'm not a shipper. But this is due to the fact that Liu has already fallen in love with his first nurse, as far as I remember her name but that could possibly happen.

Hey, with your Naughty Babe posts I was wondering if you have opinions on if the subs/translations are affecting the understandability of the plot for non-Thai speakers. It seems to me like the IQIYI subs are not great compared to Youtube, which is unfortunate because that’s where most people are watching. I’ve mostly been watching with the IQIYI subs and filling in holes with the novel plot, which works well enough for me. -diaospuppy (since we still can’t ask from sideblogs yet)

I have a feeling my reply is gonna be lengthy so let's put a TL;DR here: Oh, most definitely!

Let me preface this: 1) I don't have access to iQIYI so I could only cross-check with 3rd party re-uploads that I assume come from iQIYI, subs and all?? 2) The subs on Youtube aren't perfect either but they're definitely good, considering translation can't be 1:1. 3) I'm not a native speaker, so I wouldn't be able to catch every single word reliably anyway, but knowing Thai for sure gives me more insight which is why I've been sharing a lot of what I hear and read on the show!

That said- I just scrolled through the Naughty Babe The Series tag for a bit and- yeahhh. It sure looks like people are struggling with the plot. 😅 This feels like Cutie Pie all over again. Why is the language barrier suddenly a 10ft. wall with these shows? Just how bad are iQIYI subs...

I'm gonna do the homework for everyone and use this opportunity to rewatch important scenes, compile the chess pieces, and clear up any weird subs I encounter along the way.

Let's go!

The tiger incident is the root of both Diao and Yi's issues AND of the debt that the Chens (Yi's family) took on to repay the Wongteerawits (Diao's family).

Yi's father Makorn took full responsibility for his son's mistake and has since been investing everything he can offer to make up for it: He's basically raised Yi to take care of Diao (hence why it's basically an arranged marriage), he dotes on Diao more than his own son, and he basically pays for everything the Wongteerawits ask for!

1) ตัวประกัน /dtua bpra gan/ is someone kept for bargaining purposes/insurance, so literally a hostage yeh 2) Diao's stepmom, on the phone with Sathaporn: "Having Kondiao as collateral/insurance doesn't help at all!"

The worst offender is Diao's uncle Sathaporn (and here we've got a case of both YT and iQIYI fucking up the subs):

The entire Wongteerawit family was witness to Yi's father Makorn gifting Diao the red BMW that Yi has the accident in. From left to right: Diao's stepmother Orn, his younger (half? step?-)siblings Tam and Tem, and his uncle Sathaporn.

Sathaporn is Diao's father Sattha's younger brother and he's been having an affair with his brother's wife Orn. They've been manipulating Sattha for years. Their aim now is to re-negotiate, for Yi and Diao's marriage contract, and what they want is- Oh, just, you know, everything-

The other schemester is Tem, Diao's younger (half?? step??-)brother.

Tem เทม, the brother, or Tam แทม, the sister? It's Tem เทม, the brother, as the YT subs on the left correctly state.

He's been sneaking around:

He acts according to his uncle Sathaporn's instructions - for the most part. Either he's just as stupid as the uncle and stepmom make Diao's father out to be oR mAyBe he's just a kid in over his head! 🥴 From what I understand, Tem's the one who messed with the BMW. With what intended outcome, I'm not sure (Kondiao would inherit half his father's land and all his possessions so killing him would guarantee Tem the Wongteerawit inheritance, at least?), and if he did it on the uncle's authority or not, I'm not entirely sure either.

Re: the BMW - wow, are the subs bad on iQIYI! Left YT, right iQIYI:

As for the engagement contract, the conditions are: - if they don't marry, - if either of them cheats, - if they marry but break up within 5 years the family to violate the contract has to compensate the other family. - If the Chens are at fault, they have to pay the Wongteerawits for the race track, - If the Wongteerawits are at fault, the Chens get full ownership of the race track.

In conclusion, it's all about the race track. The land is owned in part by the Wongteerawits, who had Makorn buy it for them, and in part by the Chens. Sathaporn currently has the documents to the Wongteerawits' title deed and he made sure to influence his brother to either leverage more out of the engagement contract or make sure to get the race track once they re-negotiate for Yi and Diao's marriage contract:

Yi and Diao thus are planning to make this entire situation end by ruining their own wedding - to the Chens' favor.

More bad subs, YT left vs. iQIYI right:

1) การใช้ชีวิตคู่ ไอ้อี้ /gaan chai chee wit kuu, ai Yi, [...]/ = Married life, Yi, [...] VS. some genius: การใช้ชีวิตกู(???) ไอ้อี้ /gaan chai chee wit guu, ai Yi, [...]/ = Living my life, ai Yi, [...] 2+3) No words, I don't know why they gave up on เป็นฝั่งเป็นฝา /bpen fang bpen fah/ = married, settled down

There's more bad subs in this scene but they're not plot-relevant so- Back to their plan! Yi feigns ignorance even in front of his dad because they need to make sure everyone believes it when Diao crashes the wedding. The only ones in the know are Kuea and Lian and they're separately involved via their respective best friends (hence the betting in ep. 6 lol).

YT subs know what's up, iQIYI subs are a lil confused it seems 🥴

Sidenote: Do iQIYI subs routinely skip over honorifics? Because YT usually makes sure to include them, at least when they're not strictly used as pronouns, for example:

คับบบเฮีย /khaaap hia/ = polite male ending particle which, if used by itself, denotes agreement + see the explanation for Hia here, I'm too lazy lol

The subs in this scene are especially meh, huh?? YT left, iQIYI right:

I gave Tem Souldancer a proper reference for their civilian self and their Magical Boy/Enbie transformation!

So a couple of notes:

Tem Souldancer is 16 years old when they meet the Turtles. They use they/them pronouns. They are also a self-insert who I ship with Donnie.*

Tem is short for Artemisia, a name that they adopted after moving to NYC. Their "real" name is Crow, but they did keep their surname out of respect for their family's culture and history. So they went from Crow Souldancer to Artemisia Souldancer, but everyone calls them Tem for short.

Tem is Two-Spirit, and is on Testosterone. Their gender is "your worst nightmare." They are also ace-spec.

Tem was diagnosed with ASD as a child. Their special interests lie in the complexities of magic and systems of the mystic arts. They study magic almost like it's a science. And also crows. They have a huge thing for crows. Duh no shit

Tem's Backstory and Powers...

Tem's Backstory:

Headcanon time! The magic in ROTTMNT stems from two sources - from the Spirits of the Earth or from the Krang/Onni. The magic that comes from the Earth and its Spirits acts like veins, and ties all living creatures together. The veins are in all kinds of colours, depending on the life force of the person a single vein is connected to. For obvious reasons, Raph's is red, Leo's is blue, Donnie's is purple, Mikey's is orange, April's is yellow, etc. However, most people cannot see the Veins, including the Hamatos.

Tem, and by extension their family, can see these Veins, alongside some other stuff. This is because many centuries ago, a young woman was given these abilities by one of the more powerful Spirits in order to protect the Earth from the Demons who would try to destroy it (the Krang.) This woman adopted the title Souldancer because it felt like she was dancing among the souls of the living. This would become the surname for Tem's family.

Souldancer children are born with a small crystal on their body, varying in shape, colour, and location. These are called Soul Crystals, and they help the Souldancers use their powers. However, they only appear on firstborn children. Any other children born after do not get a crystal. The secondborn are taught how to do magic for reasons that will become apparent in the next paragraph.

The firstborn child would be trained in the mystic arts and in the ability to see and manipulate the Veins. The secondborn child would be responsible for producing the next generation of firstborn and secondborn children, so that the Souldancer line never died out. The firstborns are not allowed to have relationships or develop attachments to others. (Kind of like the Jedi Order in the Star Wars prequels, and the reasons why are the exact same.) The firstborn are called Guardians, and the secondborn are called Carriers.

Tem is a very weird case because they and their brother Rook are the firstborn together. They are twins, and they both have crystals. Rook's is green while Tem's fluctuates between white, shades of grey, and black (I'll come back to why that's weird later!) But Souldancer twins have never been born before this, so Tem's parents had to figure out what to do. Because Tem was born a few minutes after Rook, their parents decided that Rook would be the next Guardian because he was older. Tem would be the next Carrier. They were supposed to marry a man who was nine years older than them when they turned 16.

They tried to smile and continue living. But they've always loved using their magic and protecting and helping others, and they don't want to give up that part of themselves. So when they turned 15, they ran away from home and moved out to NYC, where they knew an entrance to the Hidden City was. They figured that being closer to the Hidden City would mask their Soul Crystal from their parents' detection.

Tem set up shop and began working as a waiter, while also doing VTubing on the side (which they are slowly but surely getting more views and money from.) They also use the nights to their advantage to not only fight crime and help out injured people using their powers, but also to fight any and all remnants of the Demons' armies. Tem is also trying to destroy any and all remaining Krang weapons (one of which being the Dark Armor.)

Tem meets the Turtles in season 1 of ROTTMNT. They get very insecure about having to share a spotlight with any other heroes. Tem has lived in their brother's shadow for years and wants to escape it and make something of themselves independent from their family. They project hard on the Turtle brothers as a result. However, they soon become friends with the brothers, and develop a rivalry/friendship with Donnie (which eventually turns into a romance, but that's a very slow burn.)

Tem's Powers:

Remember how I mentioned above that Tem's Soul Crystal being greyscale is weird? Well, here's why! All Souldancer firstborns are born with a Crystal, and they all come in different shapes and colours. However, no child has ever been born with a Crystal like Tem's before.

The scale of White to Black shades in magic is reserved for those with a LOT of power, typically Spirits. White magic was typically more focused and could allow a person to utilise any kind of magic they wanted to. Black magic, on the other hand, was harder to control and was more prone to instability. However, it was also the culmination of all colours, so it could also do crazy powerful stuff. The shades of Greys in magic are a combination of both of these aspects. The darker the shade, the more magical energy a person had, but that magic was unstable and difficult to control.

Tem's Crystal changes colour depending on how upset they are. If they feel a very strong emotion such as hatred or terror or even love, their Crystal gets darker. However, Tem's appearance while transformed is a mix of different shades of greys mostly because it is a reflection of their experiences with their magic and emotions. The colour of their Crystal only changes whenever Tem overexerts themselves.

Tem's powers are more specific however. They can see the Veins, but they can also interact with them. If they spend enough time, Tem could find anybody in the world using the Veins. They can even siphon magical energy from a large network of sources to heal others. Think of it like the Law of Equivalent Exchange. Typically, minor injuries like cuts or bruises or even sprains don't take too much magic or effort. Wounds, stabs, broken bones are trickier but also not too difficult to heal. Near-death injuries are harder, but not impossible. However, when someone dies, it is basically impossible to heal from that.

Tem also can drain the life force and magical energy from others. Very similar deal to the Healing magic. Draining magic is easier when it's in smaller quantities. Typically draining small amounts of magic from someone will make them tired or weaker. In larger quantities, it could bring someone to near death or even kill someone. However, removing so much magic from someone as to practically take their soul would absolutely be way too much Black magic for one person to handle and it could possibly kill them.

Alongside that, Tem can also mimic the powers of the Turtles, mostly whenever they are in close proximity to them. So the closer Tem is to a brother, the easier it is for Tem to mimic their powers. Their crystal and clothes even have the colour of the corresponding brother added to them, which disappears when Tem is no longer using their powers. It's also important to note that the more Tem uses one of the Turtles' magical abilities, they also tend to feel whatever it is the brother in question is feeling. They can only use one power at a time, and if they try to do multiple at once, it is too much.

In their Corvid form (as they like to call their transformed black and white self), they can glide, jump farther, run faster than any ordinary human. They also have a significantly higher pain tolerance and much faster reflexes.

*I have been a TMNT fan since 2012, and I was 16/17 when Rise was announced/released. Tem is an abridged version of myself in 2017/2018, which is when the events of the first season start. I'm adult now, so any and all content from me about teen Tem and teen Donnie will be strictly SFW. This is kind of a grey zone for me in terms of self-shipping because it's retroactive and Tem's experiences differ from my own drastically.

Why I'm retroactively self-shipping is very personal to me, but it boils down to healing my inner child/teenager. I grew up with these characters and I'd like to pay homage to my younger self and give them some love and support from healthy places. This is very much a love letter to teenage Aso.

Theory on Leo if Big Mama was his Parent

(Now before we actually begin I assume you’re talking about Leo because I did briefly touch on a former post about it but if you were talking about all 4 I apologize.)

The only possible way I can see Leo being even in Big Mama's clutches in the first place is if Lou Jitsu dropped him on accident while trying to escape Draxum's lab. It can be both in the yokai or human world but either way, bro got left behind.

Big Mama finds a poor turtle baby and decides to take him home since there was no one to keep her company after Lou went dashy-dash on her. And guess what, she is a surprisingly great mom.

Spiders are known to just straight up leave their babies as soon as they are born, but as she is a yokai, not an animal, so she has empathy for infant Leo. She would do the things that society would consider a "loving mother". Although some of her spider behaviour does change a few things: she feeds him bugs, nips him lightly if she's in her spider form, and carries him around in her silk threads.

Oh, and he picks up her accent lmao.

By the time he's a child/pre-teen stage, he is 100% brat. He'll mess up his mummy's hotel decorations, steals food from the chefs, and do anything a child can think of. But there's one thing that's the most important in this stage, his development of manipulation. Not only is he the son of the owner of Grand Nexus Hotel, but he is also a child. And children can get away with anything if they use the right words.

Whenever he causes mischief and someone tries to report him on it, he'll do puppy eyes with a hint of sadness in his voice, and before you know it, he deceives the staff member. This lets him get away a few times until Big Mama notices his talent with words.

She starts giving him little tasks such as "Try to get that dealer to give you that fruit for free," or "Have that little boy let you play with his toys". This slowly starts turning gears in Leo's head and by the time he's a teen he helps his mummy out in "assisting" customers.

So the day when the turtles meet Big Mama, imagine their surprise when they see another turtle dressed in fine formal wear. The other 3 boys always heard stories from Splinter about how they had a missing brother that has red marks on his face. There was no possibility that he isn't their brother.

As expected, Mikey runs up to him in a big hug, which is lightly shrugged off by Leo as he thinks Mikey is just another customer. He's bombarded with questions from Donnie and Mikey but he waves his hand and walks off, stating he needs to attend to his job.

Skip forward to the time Big Mama reveals her yokai form and the two groups start fighting. Midway through the battle, Leo attacks one of them, most likely Donnie as he is the easiest to target. Donnie feels betrayed and painstakingly says 'brother' but Leo only laughs and retorts he's not their brother.

So now he's their eternal enemy.

Ok now for some Yandere Hcs because that's my job now.

He's not too different when compared to his normal counterpart but there are a few noticeable changes in his personality.

He tends to do some more indirect actions such as having hitmen, or throwing people in the Battle Nexus whenever there's a rival. If he's really feeling murderous though, he'll fight them right in the arena.

He doesn't have an "I feel useless" problem like normal Leo either. Instead, he has a more possessive and "what would you do without me" type of thing.

If he is to kidnap MC, they're going to be trapped in the Hotel as that is where he is often times and the security guards/cameras are everywhere (the staff does not want to upset Big Mama's son, he has a horrible temper if things don't go as planned).

If I were to summarize everything, he's a mix of normal Leo and Donnie.

Everything everywhere all at once was like a Rick and morty style nihilist production that consisted of a series of visual gags w some sappy family drama connected to it. Visually it was stunning and the performances were great (but JLC didn’t need to win) the way that movie swept gives me the same dread as when joker was nominated so many times. The way the movie along w wakanda forever was referred to by the hosts and presenters was also so weird and condescending. Also the usage of Malala for a bit, the way Tems was set up, the Juliard scenes in tar, what is cocaine bear??, lady Gaga Jessica Chastain & Michelle Williams are there like every year and nobody I know has seen them act in anything. The Brendan Fraser & Ke Huy Quan sympathy manipulation. Michelle Yeoh was the only classy person this year who actually deserved a moment and she was too graceful to have her moment take over.

“Where do you think the money came from? Robbery and arms dealing, wrapped up in a pretty little package so they-” Tem thrust his finger at Luke- “could manipulate you.”

Lottie scrunched up her face, shook her head. “No, that’s wrong, we-Our only deal was with Jedi, the rest of it was charity-”

“How old were you, girl, when it all fell apart? Eleven? Twelve? You don’t actually think we were stupid enough to tell children what we were really doing?"

Lottie sniffed, tears forming in her eyes, her mouth contorted in an angry frown. “Is this the excuse you use at night? To go to bed?”

Tem walked over to her, bent down, and tilted her chin with two fingers. She set her jaw. “Which one do you use, sweet one?”

Lottie smiled, for just a moment, and grabbed his fingers hard enough to cause Tem to yelp in pain. She reached for her crysknife, lightning-quick, and cut them off, blood and fingers splattering on the ground.

Tem let out a howl of pain, knees collapsing, clutching the stumps of his fingers.

Luke caught Lottie’s eyes as she strode away. He felt his breath hitch in his throat, blood rush from his head.

Oh, I really should have dealt with these feelings earlier, Luke thought. Because seeing Lottie smirk at him, run her tongue over her teeth-

He had never wanted another person so badly in his life.

“You may be a traitor, Tem, but you will not die like one.” She turned sideways into a fighting stance, twirling the knife into a reverse grip. “Dance with me.”

Ships

I want to talk about ships.

First I want to get out of the way is that I don't understand people who do them in the first place. Sure I might find some of the art and fanstories people make of the ships have cute moments between the characters and all. But I personally like to keep things as canon as possible, because then I know what I'm writing/drawing and I'm not wasting my precious time on something that does not hold up to the actual thing.

Some spoilers for Gravity Falls and Beastars...

Okay so now that that's out of the way, I want to talk about the actual problem. Certain ships and the patterns of problems I see with some of them.

LGBTQ+ Ships:

Gravity Falls BillDip

Nowadays you can see a lot of ships, that much is true. But I want to bring up certain ships like BillDip, a good example of a problematic one. And this is just a bizarre example I could think of being bad. And I'm glad it pretty much stopped being so popular. BillDip takes a timeless extraterrestrial triangle (or mostly I see him portrayed as a non-canon human version) with the most immense powers in the world who is the greatest sworn enemy of originally a canonically average 12-year-old (for most of the series before at the end he turned 13). Do you see the problem here? Sure if you age up the second character it is technically legal to do that... But they still have a great age gap of about a trillion years. Okay... What if you age the first character down? Well, now you have stayed way too far from canon, at this point why not just find another ship that could perfectly accommodate your liking? There are many characters who are all-mighty beings and many characters who are just average in the same universe of the same fandom. And the problem is that they don't even have chemistry. They are the greatest sworn enemies with nothing in common. Bill is manipulative and bad, and Dipper knows that. The only moment Bill is nice to Dipper is when he's trying to manipulate him into possessing his body. They are literally the greatest enemies, not even a single bit of chemistry. And I feel the only reason it was ever shipped is because one of them was male (well a genderless cosmic being, but a male-like side to him) and the other one was too. Not everything that's gay is good.

Beastars Lougosi

But I'm not bitching on all gay ships if you're asking, no. Some are actually backed up by canon and make sense to a certain degree. Let's say the ship Lougosi. This ship takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals where it's almost forbidden for carnivore animals to interact with herbivores. Louis is a male deer who was the head actor of the drama club. Legosi, a male gray wolf, worked for the sets for the plays of the drama club. Well, Legosi is usually portrayed to have been a dangerous person at first because he is automatically grouped as a carnivore alongside him having a menacing aura. And Louis seemed to not like him at first, where Legosi was the main angering for Louis. So Louis saw Legosi as some kind of antagonist before. There have been moments in the series that suggest a connection between eating and mating inside this universe as many of the characters talk about those things, or those things got mentioned, at the same time. So when Louis just one time grabbed Legosi and asked him to show him his fangs, that might've been an awakening for some people to ship this. It has also been shown throughout the series and is actually one of the main plots, that Legosi is in love with a herbivore (a white dwarf rabbit by the name of Haru to be exact), so the possibility of him liking Louis in this ship is not too far off. Along with Louis actually becomes the boss of a carnivore gang of lions for the black market, where he learns to bond with them and actually eat meat... Right at the end of the series, it is shown that Louis sacrifices a leg to Legosi so that he can become strong and fight the murderer of Tem (an alpaca friend of Legosi) who was Riz (a large brown bear).

It's just that some ships I find seem to not work, no chemistry, and no anything. It just seems that some ships are just for the sake of the LGBTQ+ and its over-representation as some of these awful ships. If you're going to represent the LGBTQ+ community and try to be inclusive, please don't push some of these ships. Sure it's fine I guess if you ship it as a crack ship, but really think about whether you actually ship certain characters together or not. And I'm not saying that the shipping fandom is bad, I just want to bring attention to the bad part I find of it.

8. Kinn was the real villain all the time fic.

9. Kinn/Vegas fics. You can judge me, my first bf was actually my cousin.

10. Thankhun, haven't forget him. I don't actually ship him with anyone, but who knows.

11. The Theerapanyakul brothers. I wanna see their interactions, wanna see them love or hate each others, care about or betray each others, but give me their stories.

12. Kinn and Chay interactions. Kinn being the one giving Chay a sex talk or relationship advice.

13. Porsche and Pete friendship. Chaotic bros.

14. As for VegasPete: i would love to read a fic where Vegas tries to gain Petes forgiveness by making amends with Kinn, bc this is the biggest proof he can give of his love for Pete.

15. Kid fics. Good kid fics. Make the Theerapanyakul family a big kindergarten.

16. Arm and Pol. ArmPol. I want to read their love storie but I also would love to read about their pov of the main stories.

17. Killing Lady who almost killed Kinn in EP 2. Anything with her.

18. Porsche hiring a team of female bodyguards to protect Kinn.

19. Kinn and Vegas working together because of their husbands.

20. The whole Tay/Time/Tem drama.

21. Tay my beloved. I want to read more of him. What about that Tay/Vegas thing?

22. I honestly don't know how to feel about KimChay, maybe a older Chay coming back into Kim life and they figuring out how they feel about each other.

23. Kinn coming out stories. His first kiss, his first time. He's my fave character, i would read almost anything about him.

24. The moms, I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM. Fics where they're alive, just give me the moms.

25. Thankhun and Yok friendship. They running the bar together maybe.

26. Gun Theerapanyakul A+ parenting. Give me all the Vegas angst.

27. Vegas and Macau relationship. Vegas being a good big bro to him.

28. A fic where Macau is just a sweet guy who wants nothing with the mafia and all the Theerapanyakuls make it their mission to give him a normal life, even Thankhun.

Current Musings

I wonder what exactly we will get from the Time Tay Tem trio, there’s just so much plot and character stuff going on everywhere else, that I’m curious if it will just stay in looks and Time’s bad jokes…

I wonder if there really is some thing behind the way “Hia” is used in the story. All that I know about Thai language and convention, I’ve learned from tumblr, so this one is probably me putting meaning where there is none, but it’s interesting to me who uses “Hia”. My understanding is that the “Hia” honorific is both more homey and family based, as well as being an indicator of ethnic background. So it’s curious to me, in this story full of brothers, how it’s used. Porsche and Chay use it. Vegas and Macau use it. And most importantly for my musing, Kan and Korn use it. So why is it not the honorific amongst Tankhun, Kinn and Kim? It feels significant that Kan is still calling his older brother “Hia” and that Kan passed that honorific down to his sons, but that Korn did not pass it to his. But again this is very likely me giving meaning where there is none.

I surprised by some reactions to Macau. I feel like largely all that we’ve seen of Macau, is a spoiled, happy teenager who is close with his brother. I didn’t expect to see so many readings of Macau’s actions to be colored as sinister or manipulative, simply because he’s also from the minor family. I think it’s important to note that Macau had no fear of running to his brother in tears, in front of all the important dangerous people, after he fell into the fountain. Then we see him happily walking with his brother swinging around light poles, joking about incompetent stalkers, again happy and young. Finally, at home talking about school, apologizing to the adult man who pushed him into a fountain, again very just normal teenager. And it’s not a secret Vegas told Macau to apologize, Vegas directly tells Porsche that he told Macau to apologize. I just think it’s premature to label Macau, a monster in training, when we’ve only ever seen him be a fairly happy, albeit spoiled, teenager.

How far from the path we’ve strayed , beloved friend.  Verily , it was once o u r path to walk ( together always , wasn’t that our promise ? wasn’t that what we swore to each other ? have you already forgotten all that we said & did ? ) … And now , AND NOW— She barely recognizes him and who he has become ( another senseless peon ) .  The man she remembers is hardly there anymore.  Kadai would not be surprised if Temenos killed him to become the Skeksis’ ready and able s e r v a n t .  They , the very same monsters who now send her once-friend to HUNT & COLLECT HER ; clever , cruel , pinning them against each other purely for the s p o r t of watching the gelfling who care for each other most do each the most h a r m in the end.

If only there was a better solution to this.  The only thing Kadai can ever think of is GRABBING HIM & BEATING THE SENSE back into him ; reasoning with the Inquisitor has long been out of the question.  His loyalty to the Skeksis is terrifying and resolute.  Kadai knows she might have already l o s t Temenos to their thrall , she knows that prolonging the inevitable is simply … Putting them both at risk.  But if there is still a c h a n c e , should she not take the risk just the same ?  Should she not seize it and CLING TO IT ?  For him , she would do a n y t h i n g .

Perhaps that is why there comes no real falter , no real resistance when Temenos pulls her close with his staff , the two gelfling standing near nose-to-nose as he utters his piece , believing – rather FOOLISHLY – he’s at l a s t caught the elusive quarry his Lords have sent him after.  Kadai grins at him ; features SPLITTING WIDE APART in a show of fangs and none of the friendliness , a slash of startling w h i t e cutting garishly across her dark-hued features.  ❝ Oh ? ❞  She asks aloud , followed shortly by her meanspirited c a c k l i n g , each note like a ringing blade ; clear , crisp , condescending.  How many times shall they play this game ?  How many times shall they have such a conversation ?  ❝ And to whom , O’Inquisitor , do I give my prayers to ?  The LORDS ? ❞  A scoff , head tossing , ears and wings flicking.  ❝ Please !  You think they would care ?  You think they would listen ?  They only humor you to manipulate you !  Such has been the case for trine upon trine ! ❞  Her voice raises , practically s h o u t i n g at him.  Not wise to antagonize him and his faith , but Kadai doesn’t much c a r e for being wise.

Although her hands are bound , she’s still f r e e in other ways.  Her sharp-tipped tail lifts and JABS HIS SIDE with a stabbing force , not enough to impale but enough to give herself some breathing room ,  ❝ I suppose I shall pray just the same , ❞ Kadai says , continuing the momentum of the conversation , ❝ I shall pray that you open your eyes and see the truth for YOURSELF ! ❞  She bounces away a few steps , light on the balls of her feet , bringing herself to the ledge of the clifface.  Watching him for a moment or two , Kadai grins again.  ❝ You know , we really must stop meeting like this , ❞ She teeters over the edge , ❝ I fear I might fall for you ! ❞  And there she goes , throwing herself into open air , down towards the frothing sea below.  It’s suicide to try flying in a s t o r m for most , but Kadai is well-known for her risky endeavors.  Her wings flare open , catching the churning , angry currents of the winds which carry her immediately aloft.  Temenos is not lucky today ; perhaps next time ( as there is assuredly going to be a next time ) .

Have you seen the Obi-Wan Kenobi show on Disney+? If you have, opinions?

I have not; I can only afford one streaming service, and I deeply resent the notion of giving the mouse any money (or numbers) whatsoever.

I did follow along with spoilers and gifs. I have friends that love the show, I have friends that are indifferent. It's not a time frame of canon that I particularly care about for telling stories, so I'm just kinda "meh" about the whole thing. I have ONE single opinion which I shall put under a cut due to spoilers, and it's a nit-picky ridiculous thing that I truly think is absurd of me but hey, it exists.

Mostly, I'm just happy that the actors - particularly Hayden Christensen - have gotten a chance to play again, and I sincerely hope it was an awesome experience.

If it sparks joy for you, that is AWESOME and I hope it continues to do so. I figure at some point I'll hang out with someone who does have access and I might watch, otherwise \_(ツ)_/¯

                I have seen the image/read about the scene of the clone veteran, and it drives me up a wall.

One: YAAAAY, TEM GETTING TO PLAY CLONES MORE AND THE ARMOR AND GOOD FOR THEM FOR ACKNOWLEDGING CLONES!

Two: I find it fascinating that I have a VERY strong, visceral kneejerk reaction of "oh, wow, showing us a clone-as-a-stereotype homeless vet, you're trying to jerk us around by our heartstrings, thanks I loathe it" because it feels like some blatant emotional manipulation which REALLY sets up my hackles.

Three, I immediately haul that back to "well, it IS a matter that needs to be addressed and should be shown more in media."

Four: WHAT POSSIBLE FUCKING REASON WOULD TEH EMPIRE HAVE TO LET THE CLONES LEAVE THE ARMY???!?
