“Evan” Tommy.  “Hey Maddie, how are you both doing?” His voice is low and Buck wants to just rest his head against his chest to listen to the way it sounds as it rumbles from his chest.  “They said that Chim should be ready to go home in the morning,” Her voice comes out a little strained as she answers but she very quickly changes the topic. “But you two-” She says with a smile and because Buck knows exactly what she’s thinking and implying he rolls his eyes,  “Mads-” He practically whines and maybe he’d be more embarrassed about that if he didn’t feel like he was seconds from falling asleep in the most uncomfortable chair he's ever sat in. “-Should get out of here. Tommy, will you please take my stubborn brother home?”  Tommy’s chuckle sounds like music to Buck’s tired ears.

"Are you alright?"

"My belly hurts," Sunny groaned. He was laying uncomfortably on the couch, pants unbuttoned, bloated tummy sticking up from his slender frame.

"I can see that," said Laurie, nudging his feet out of the way and sitting down beside him.

"Listen," he whined, and patted his belly. It sounded tight and hollow, as though it were filled with air.

"Sounds like a serious bloat," she agreed. "I don't think there's any hope for you, you're probably gonna pop."

"Fuck off, Laurie!"

"Just like a balloon," she continued, poking his belly. He winced and held his arms over it defensively.

"You're so mean," he said indignantly, giving her a light kick in the side.

"Hey, don't kick me!" She grabbed his ankle. He tried to pull away, but his stomach, disturbed by the sudden movement, cramped sharply. He quickly fell still with a pitiful moan, rubbing his aching tummy. Laurie let go of his leg, feeling sorry for him.

"Jeez, Sunny, how'd you get so bloated anyway? I thought it was your head that was full of air, not your stomach." He shot her an irritated look.

"I don't know," he said, letting his head fall back onto the cushion. "It won't come up." Laurie thought for a moment, then held out her arms.

"Come here," she instructed. He looked up at her suspiciously.

"What for?"

"Just come here."

"You better not squeeze me," he said, sitting up. His stomach gurgled unhappily. Laurie moved closer and held him against her, placing her hands on his tummy. It felt painfully tight, and she felt sorry for teasing him.

"Jeez, you really are bloated," she said. She began to rub his belly in slow circles, pressing ever so gently as she did. It gurgled loudly in protest at the pressure. Sunny opened his mouth to complain, but before he could, another gurgle bubbled up inside him and he burped. Laurie felt his distended stomach deflate slightly under her hands.

"How about that?" she said, pleased with herself. Smiling, she continued rubbing his belly, massaging the taut bulge poking out under his ribs. She felt another gurgle rise up under her hands, and he burped again, followed by a soft sigh of relief. He rested his head back against her shoulder.

"Hey, don't get too comfortable, mister," she giggled. "I think you're good to go." He looked up at her with big innocent doe eyes, and she pointedly turned her head away, pretending not to see.

"Puppy eyes don't work on me, Sunshine," she lied. He continued to stare up at her. Still looking away, Laurie took him under the arms and moved him away from her. He slumped sideways against the back cushion and sadly laid his head against it, looking pitifully at her. She pretended to ignore him for a few moments longer, then sighed defeatedly, unable to hold back a smile.

"Alright," she said, extending an arm. Sunny perked up and quickly snuggled up against her side. She draped her arm over him, and he took her hand and held it against his tummy.

I'm currently unemployed and waiting for the official job offer to start my career as a flight attendant, and there's a 1% chance that it might not come. there's still a chance I might fail one of the last exams, or that they'll simply give up on hiring me... aviation is unpredictable.

and yet, I don't regret quitting my job at all. I was miserable there anyways, and now I'm closer to my dream. even if things don't turn out the way I expect, I don't think I'll regret my decision of quitting. do it!

At first the CDC just felt like a fantasy, a great idea, but unreachable. But there was something about the way in which Rick spoke about it that sparked the last bit of hope that had been residing in your chest.

The fall had taken everything from you: you parents, siblings, relatives, a job that you had worked your ass off to get; but the worst part is, it put your relationship with Daryl on hold. You knew it was only because he was afraid of losing you, but it was like you missed him even though he was right there. So, when an opportunity to be a couple again arose, you took it.

"Why haven't ya showered yet?" He asked while walking in your shared quarters — which had been Daryl's insistence when you tried to claim one for yourself. 

You looked up from the book you were reading on the miniature sofa in the room. "I figured we could shower together. I tried to find you while everyone else was, but I didn't know where you were." He only grunted, chewing on a hangnail nervously. 

"Ya wanna shower with me?" He asked sheepishly. You smiled softly, setting the book face down and standing up to take his large, callused hands in yours. "Of course, babe. Why wouldn't I?" He just shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno… figured ya wouldn' want me to see ya… ya know… like tha'." 

"Just because it seems like we aren't dating doesn't mean you're not my boyfriend." You reassured the archer. "Now c'mon before there's no more hot water left." 

He allowed you to lead him to the showering quarters where you had begun to remove your clothes. He looked away bashfully, the tips of his ears turning red. 

"D!" You giggled. "It's nothing you hadn't seen before. Now strip!" You commanded playfully. You kicked off your pants and panties, stripping off your shirt and sports bra before standing bare before him.

He had stripped down to nothing as you approached one of the enclosed showers. You twisted the knob and hot water sprayed down your sweat and dirt covered skin, drawing a blissful sigh from between your lips.

"Oh, Daryl! This is wonderful! You gotta get in here!" You cheered, standing under the head of it. You allowed the water to soak the front of your body, your head tipped back in relaxation. 

You felt his warm body before you heard the door slide shut. You smiled gently when you felt his hands land on your plush hips, the hunter placing his chin in the crease of your neck. You squirmed at the feeling of his beard tickling your skin.

"It's been too long since we've been alone, huh?" You asked carelessly. You reached up an arm to massage at his scalp and he purred in delight. "Mhm." He agreed with a hum.

He let his hands wander up and down your body, his fingertips skimming over your nipple. You knew he didn't mean too, that he was just simply worshiping your body without any lustful intent behind his touches, but God, it's been so fucking long.
