Jennifer’s Adventures; The Start Of A New Life Chapter 17: Blake (Pt.3)

“Your appointment’s in 2 days. I have asked the CEO to let you open the shop a bit later.”

Jungkook reminds me the fifth time in the row today. “I already know. I have told Bora and Inhye to come later.” I said to him with a pout

“And if you come with that the sixth time, I’m going to ignore you the whole day.” I warned him

“Okay I’ll stop.” He says. I just end up hugging my bolster and go to the couch. He joins me with the bolster also.

“Met anybody new so far?” He asks me and I just laughed. “Blake.” I say. “A group call Stray Kids” I added on.

“Why?” I ask him. “I’m asking cause you only work and I don’t want you to be like me this shy and don’t mix around.” He says.

“I guess being shy and introverted runs in the family” I giggled as he pulls me for a hug. He also giggles as we spend the day talking and watching movies.

-2 Days Later-

“Bora. Inhye. You two go get the carrots and cucumbers for me. There are two different stores for them, bargain if you have to together.”

I tell Bora and Inhye before sending them out on another errand

They nod and leaves. I just ended up occupying myself with the restocking and revenue check before I see a familiar face with 2 additional people coming in.

“Blake welcome!” I tell her, she smiles, her and her friends greet me.

“Hello” I softly greeted her friends. I gave them a good spot to sit with the breeze. “This is Jen’s cafe owner. Jennifer Jeon.” Blake introduce her friends to me before introducing me to her friends

“Jen this is Gina Han Gyeongseop And Duyen Nyguyen”

She introduces the two girls who look friendly. “Nice to meet you. Just call me Jen.” I smiled bowing to Gina and Duyen

They both bow back. “This cafe is simple rustic yet quiet.” Gina looks at the cafe amazed.

“She only started the cafe about before Halloween last year.” Blake tells Gina

“How’s the food?” Duyen bluntly asks. “The food is amazing good. Do you still have the drinks and food from the last time?” Blake says before asking me.

“Yes I still do” I smiled to Blake answering. All three of them put in their orders. I went into the kitchen and play Havana on the player while cooking.

“Havana, ooh na-na (ayy) Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na-na (ayy, ayy) He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na, ah Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ayy) There’s somethin’ ’bout his manners (uh-huh) Havana, ooh-na-na (uh)~” The song plays, if only I wasn’t working now, I be salsa-ing at the song

After listening to the song and doing it all the orders was made and brought out to them. “You’re fast and furious aren’t chu~” Gina giggled went I came out with the orders.

I smile. “How old are you Jen?” Duyen asks as she eats up. “1999…turning 20 this year” I answered softly

“Same age as me.” Gina says. “Amazing! I wish I have your brain at 19-20 years of age!” Duyen dropped her mouth in shock

“How come? Arent you older than me?” I ask. “I mean I wish I thought of that when I was at your age.” She shyly explains herself.

I just blushed. “Thank you.” I softly say. “No worries.” She says as I went to grind the coffee beans by hand while they are eating up.

Soon they are grinded and I am making their drinks. Gina and Duyen are surprised when I gave them their drinks.

“Wow, Thank you.” They both say. “Your very much welcome” I smile and then Blake invites me to have a seat with them.

“Are you sure Blake?” I asked shyly. She nods. I just sat at the empty seat beside Blake. “Jen. Do you have any siblings?” Gina then asks him.

I nodded my head. “Really? How many?” Duyen asks. “2. One is working here and another is studying design.” I shyly answered scratching my head

“Thats awesome. Where is the one here working?” Gina asks. “He’s with his friends.” I blushed until I saw my brother and his group walking in.

“Hey sis!” Jungkook shouts. Blake is giggling as Gina and Duyen look at me shocked.

“Wait! Do you have a Korean name?” Gina asks me. “Jeon Junghwa…” I shyly blushed admitting

“Thats a beautiful name.” Duyen says. “That’s amazing!” Gina squeals a little. “Hello Duyen! Hello Gina!” V waves happily.

“You all know each other?” I happily ask them. “Yeah. Bonnie is the twin to Ryan and most of our members, mostly all is good friends with these ones.” Blake explains to me.

“Ah-oh! So you’re all friends?” I ended getting the picture.

They all nod. I nodded my head understanding. “Erm Jen! You might want to go get the kitchen cause Jin and Suga are about to invade it” Inhye and Bora comes back with the groceries saying

I am able to get in before Jin and Suga reach it. “This is MY kitchen, go do what you’re doing at the DORMS so please go have a seat.” I kindly remind the two

They both just chuckle and leave the kitchen. I got the boys’ usuals done with Inhye and Bora’s help. I ended up cheekily put a kind note on Suga and Jin’s plates:

“Kindly don’t invade another person’s kitchen please! Thank you!”

I hear the pair laugh once they see the notes. “Hahahahaha! The cook and the cooking terrorist invading the kitchen!” Jimin laughs as they eat up before I went back to Blake and her friends apologising about what happened

“Its cool. We like it when people are happy.” Duyen says. “Are you studying at the moment?” Gina then asks me.

“I just finished my high school last year in the United States.” I answered shaking my head

“Thats cool. I’m from america.” Blake says. “No wonder you’re called Jennifer! Hello nice to meet you!” Gina happily greets me in English and starts talking which get me all shy

Blake also talks in English while Duyen tries her best. “Nice to meet you guys, hope the meal is delicious” I blushed talking in English

“It is!” Duyen says. “Let’s get somebody make a unit of those four!” V joked across which got everybody laughing hard for the rest of the time until Blake, Duyen and Gina had to go.

We say our goodbyes and they leave. I just spend the rest of my shift working for everybody till I knocked off.

Mysterylover watches Bleach episodes 267-268: “RivalFlirting to the Max”

1. New OP again! Just when I was getting used to this one. This one is thick with Ulquihime vibes, BTW.

2. Ichi vs Ulqui, go! Or cut away to Renji I guess. Thats OK. I’m not mad or anything.

3. OK a Rukia fight! I can deal with that. If we must delaythe inevitable more - IMMEDIATE CUTBACK TO THE MAIN FIGHT OK GOOD THIS ARC HAS MADE ME PARANOID.

4. Ulqui is good, BTW. Doesn’t take him long to land a hit on Ichi. I mean, you know. Penultimate boss. He’d have to be good.

5. More of Renji and chad. I mean, I like you guys but you’re not fighting Ulquiorra and I came for Ichi vs Ulquiorra so let’s GET BACK TO THAT.

6. Good, we do. Ulqui is all ‘why so strong’ and spits out a lot of the usual reasons, including ‘Orihime’, which is probably it. He calls her “One of us” which is interesting. Like, dude she didn’t jOIN you. Are you just hoping to recruit her?

7. Ooh he’s getting into Ichi’s head and making him wonder if Hime turned on them all! Mind game Ulqui. Anyway Ichi basically says what I said, that it’s Hime’s power, kimi no chikara janai ka and all that.

8. They trade some more badass blows, both looking absolutely gorgeous while doing so. Surprisingly Ichi holds pretty well. He’s moving fast and actually gets him! Nice!

9. Ichi speculates that Ulqui is either turning more human, or he’s turning more hollow. The former observation really pisses Ulqui off.

10. Also both of their shirts ripped open. Just, because apparently. Anyway THIS ISN’T EVEN ULQUI’S FINAL FORM APPARENTLY so the fight’s gonna continue. OR OMG WHAT. ORIHIME TAKES A HAND. SHIELDS ICHI HOLY CRAP. NOW THAT’S A CLIFFHANGER.

11. The recap for 268 tells me the shirt opening thing was because Ichi sliced Ulqui’s shirt open. Um. What. Anyway back to Orihime saving the day.

12. Ulqui is getting inside Hime’s head, damn. But fortunately Ichi cuts him off and thanks Hime. Thanks for being our matter-of-fact protag, Ichi.

13. “You’re quite talkative. I thought you were more silent” says Ichi. That’s true, he is pretty chatty. And also gets to stand there in wind billowing from Ichi’s attack with the sexy open shirt and billowing hair, because why not. Anyway FIGHT GOES ON.

14. Hime gets fucking kidnapped outta nowhere by, i think the evil lady from before? Damn, don’t take her away from the plot!

15. Uryu rejoins Chad and Renji. I think as long as they’re together I’ll call them the Three Stooges.

16. Evil Lady is calling Hime a ‘monster’, holy shit. Ichi notices and tries to help but Ulqui has other ideas. He tells Evil Lady #1 that he wasn’t saving them. And LOL Ichi saves Move! and Ulqui says “MAKE ME”. Wow Ulqui. Poetic.

17. Evil Lady #2 refuses to hurt Hime! Yay! You’re downgraded from Evil Lady #2 to Anti Villain! She’s grateful to her for saving her life, nice. (Also you two don’t see the contradiction in injuring someone with healing powers?

18. Evil Lady #1 is unclear if she’s planning to kill Hime or make out with her based on her pose. Ichi gets hurt trying to help her by Ulqui.

19. We cut over to Rukia again. Ruki ILU but this had better be good. Anyway we do rejoin them, but add in some weird big new Espada who is nowhere near is intriguing as Ulqui.

20. Ulqui apparently agrees with me because he tells him to eff off. Please listen to him dude. I need my Ichi vs Ulqui Showdown. Oh and he tries to kill Anti Villainess and calls them ‘bitches’, so he’s effing cancelled and I want him to effing die.

21. Like, I don’t even like Evil Lady but he beat her up now and so I want him off my screen. Thankfully we get some drama between Hime and Evil Lady as a result. Hime heals her because she’s The Best. And even shields her.

22. EVIL LADY SAVES HIME?!!? OK NOW I WILL CALL HER HER ACTUAL NAME. LOLY. She’s cool now. (Is she like Hime’s version of Grimmjow? I think she is.) She does the Vegeta thing of “Only one allowed to defeat her” about Hime and transforms. AWESOME.

23. The Giant Asshole sadly oneshots her. Dammit. Just die already you’re interrupting the plot. We get more angst between Hime and Loly, which is starting to become RivalFlirting.

24. HOLY SHIT LOLY’S DEAD?! JUST LIKE THAT? DAMN JUST WHEN SHE WAS GETTING INTERESTING. Now I really want giant dude dead.

25. And he’s trying to kill Hime too. URYU TO THE RESCUE THIS TIME! WOW. Did not see that coming but hey, it’s welcome! He and Ichi engage in some rival flirting of their own to close us out.

u know what. i will give u all the lore u want. i’m 18, will be 19 decently soon so we are close to the same age. also the other band was r5. i have sent u asks about them and tde in the past. i followed you for atl content and got whiplash when u started posting about the first band i ever loved. i was like 10 when their first album dropped i have been around for entirely too long. i had a wattpad account and wrote r5 fanfic from the tender age of like 11-13. i discovered 5sos i don’t even remember how but i think the funniest part about it is that i never really got into their music?? i got into them as people by watching like interviews and compilations. and i mean at this point that was a While ago. SPEAKING OF FANFIC i did that like ao3 year in review thing like a month ago??? and you were my top author of the year so far. i read a lot of fic on ao3. your fics are very lovely and some of my favs. moving on. will not lie my music taste is kinda embarrassing and has barely changed since i was like 14 lmfao. been listening to a lot of waterparks lately. have been since their album dropped in may. i essentially go through phases of listening to solely one artist. or one playlist i made. most recently my taste has consisted of a lot of all time low, waterparks, paramore + hayley’s solo music (it really had to grow on me BUT now that it has it is very good), also been on a nostalgic r5 kick as well. hot take it has been quite difficult for me to get into tde’s music and i don’t really know why. some songs i absolutely adore (omg plz don’t come around is my fav by them. also scared of heights, feel you now, welcome to the end of your life are top songs too) but others i’m just. i have never liked preacher man and it’s the first song they released after they rebranded in like 2017. i love to see them finally free to do what they love music-wise but some of it is just. hard to listen to. i’m supposed to see them live in november (like 4 days before my birthday, kinda cool) and it’s the second time the show has been rescheduled so hopefully it happens. i’ve seen them live before but not since they rebranded. they’re dropping an album in october that i will have like a month to learn so it better be a fucking banger. now i’m just rambling about tde because i love ross and rocky with my entire being. rydel is annoying these days tho. also she named her baby fucking SUPER what kind of name is that why would you do that to a child. anyways. you ever need useless random r5 lore, i’m the person to ask. it’s the effect of being around to like a band for like 8 years. in conclusion my music taste? terrible. a cluster fuck. i will listen to luke’s solo album next time i’m focusing on a task because i like listening to new music when i’m concentrating on something. there’s some other bella lore for the day. - other bella

OH ALSO yeah idk. i’m currently on mobile. when i looked at your blog on mobile the first time last night it was blue. but now it’s pink. i have yet to see it on desktop but when i do i am sure it will be equally as pretty. - other bella again

mm thats a good lineup of music to listen to!! paramore is another band i never got super into, i meant to and then i listened to all of riot and then i learned that hayley williams is like pretty christian and that a few paramore songs are more christian than i anticipated and now i'm like. on the fence about it all. but i wanna listen to after laughter i just havent gotten around to it yet. and i did like riot. i like paramore. i like dead horse by hayley, i didnt like the other single she released, and i didnt listen to her solo music because i didnt like the first single so im not sure if i would actually like it? i am accepting vibe checks in that category though i dont really know what kinda music it is. actually now that im thinking about it doesnt she have two albums now???? i feel like the answer is yes. anyway. moving on

that is very fair the thing abt the tde stuff is that it's all so interesting and so different from every other tde song like they really just do something unique in each song which i think is awesome but also makes it hard to like every song bc it's not like one universal vibe you kinda have to decide for each song if you're enjoying it or not. i do LOVEEEE tde though, im very jealous that you're seeing them perform. although i dont know why im not, just looked it up and theyre gonna be in new york on november 24th which is a sunday so i miiiight.....be able to go.......maybe...........their website says the 25th which is a monday so maybe i was under the impression the show was on a monday?? but the ticket site says sunday. 👀 we will just...have to see......what we see.............

RIGHT im so excited for their album i was mistakenly thinking it was coming out the same night as luke's but it was just the new single which i really liked on a first listen but have to listen to again cos ive only heard it the one time. but i hope it fucks. they announced that the album is called girlfriend which personally i think is really fun so i have high hopes

It's been a little while since I've vented on here, and its about super shallow stuff, so... I apologize in advance

I got my first job this summer... actually my first three jobs... and after I say that people probably usually think something along the lines of 'she's 19 and has never worked before?'. Yeah... but that's just because most of my highschool and middle school free time were spent volunteering at theatre productions and church stuff, or, ya know, just being a kid.

But now my parents really really wanted me to get a job (college, ya know) so I applied at the youth theatre company I've been volunteering at for the last 7 years, and I got a job at three week-long camps (like a 4 hour class every day for a week) and I was like awesome!

But... thats only 60 hours of work, and my parents were not satisfied (and honestly neither was I) so I got applied for another job! (Actually a crap ton but I only got one interview) And... now I have a job at a summer camp (basically a glorified day-care in reality). It's 6am to 6pm five days a week for ten weeks, with three groups, separated by age, with approx 30 max kids per group and maybe 4 counselors at the best time. Obv not everyone is there the whole time, but its long and hot and very unorganized.

Except... the theatre company called me and was like 'hey wanna work at Frozen Jr? We can pay you to do the job you usually did for free for these shows!' so obviously I accepted.

So... now I'm working 8-12 for Frozen, 1-3 at theatre camps, and 3:15-6 at the summer camp (changes each week, but that's next week's schedule). And I am so freaking exhausted. but I can't just not work at any of them or take time off cause I want the theatre people to respect and trust me, and I'm literally one of two counselors who work from 5-6 and they need people lmao.

And..... that was all backstory.

I'm so fucking exhausted, but I feel bad for being tired because there are many people who work longer and harder who don't seem to be as tired as I am, and I know that everyone will be like 'you're less experienced, people get tired by different thinks' and I appreciate it and understand it, I do but... i dunno

And... I feel super bad whenever I go to Frozen because I'm doing LESS helpful stuff now than when I wasn't getting paid, and it's probably just my anxiety talking, but I always feel like the directors are judging me, and at day camp, I feel like the counselors are thinking I'm lazy cause I show up 5 hours after the last counselor that showed up, and... I'm mostly afraid of being replaceable

I know that that didn't follow the previous complaints, and I know that literally everyone is replaceable, and... mostly I'm very tired so I'll shut up now. If you've made it this far, I'm impressed

*A fatigued Pyrrha is on the battle field, bleeding out and wheezing as she kneels out from exhaustion while a man with an axe is approaching her*

Bandit, raising his axe: So this is what the famous Knight Nikos is capable of? I must say, Im disappointed.

Pyrrha, internally: Damn it, is this how going to die? Being out sword by a group of bandits? I can't even see straight right now. My body is so weak, I can't move an inch. I can't believe I'm going to die here.

Bandit: *Starts to bring his axe down on Pyrrha*

Pyrrha: *Raises her sword and closes her eyes in anticipation, praying to God that she will be able to block this*

*5 seconds passes*

Pyrrha, slowly opening her eyes:......huh? What the?

Bandit: *Not moving a muscle*

Pyrrha: What the? What the heck is going on—

*Pyrrha looks around to notice that the entire bandit army wasnt moving a muscle, as if they were frozen*

Pyrrha, baffled: What the heck is goi—

*Suddenly a bright light appears before her, causing her to shield her eyes*

???: Knight Nikos! It is not your time to die today!

Pyrrha, opening her eyes: Whose there—.........o-oh my God.

*Standing before Pyrrha is a tall blonde man with blue eyes and blue armor, holding a battle flag in hand*

Pyrrha, stuttering: Y-youre....you're....oh my gods, you're the god of rejuvenation!

Jaune, smiling: That is correct. I've been watching you for a while, my brave Knight.

Pyrrha, still weak: You have?

Jaune, nodding: I have. But before we get into that, allow me to do something real quick.

*Jaune waves his hand at Pyrrha, causing her wounds to heal*

Pyrrha, gasping: Oh my gods. They're gone. I'm healed! You really are the god of rejuvenation!

Jaune: Yes I am. But this is nothing special. Any god can do that to a human, but they can't do anything close to what I can do. You haven't even seen my full potential yet. Now, I have a question to ask yo—

*Suddenly another bright light appears, causing Pyrrha to shield her eyes once more before seeing a short woman dressed in red with silver eyes appear before her*

Pyrrha, in shock: Oh my god.

???: Knight Nikos! It is not your time to die to— wait a minute! What are you doing here!?

Pyrrha:......what?

Jaune, annoyed at the short woman: What am I doing here!? What are YOU doing here!? Go away Ruby! This is my champion!

Pyrrha, choking: Ruby!? As in the goddess of speed Ruby! That Ruby!?

Ruby, smiling: Yes, that is me. And with my help you will be abl—

Jaune: NO! Stop it right now! I was here first, now butt out!

Pyrrha:....w-what's going on?

Ruby, cutely stomping her foot: No! That's not fair! You knew I had my eyes on Pyrrha for a while! She's going to be my champion, not yours!

Pyrrha, choking: Champion!? You two want me to be your—

Jaune: No she's not, Ruby!

Ruby: Is too!

Pyrrha, awkwardly: G-guys, can yo-

Jaune: IS NOT!

Ruby, sticking out her tongue: IS TOO!

Jaune: OH REAL MATURE! HOW OLD ARE YOU!?

Ruby: 2168!

Jaune: REALLY?! CAUSE YOU LOOK 10!

Ruby, blushing: S-SHUT UP! NO I DONT! I HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I LOOK LIKE A BEAUTIFUL 19 YEAR OLD WOMAN!

Ruby, puffing out her cheeks: WHY OUGHTA! *Starts trying to hit Jaune, just for him to keep her at bay with his hand*

Pyrrha:....what......what is going on? Am I slowly dying and having a weird dream from my blood loss?

Jaune, chuckling: You can’t get to me because you’re so short! Ha!

Ruby, trying to. Real through: SHUT UP YOU BIG JER—

*Suddenly ANOTHER white light appears, this time a bulk blonde woman with purple eyes and revealing clothing to show off her muscles appears*

Jaune, groaning: OH WHAT NOW!?

???: Knight Nikos! It is not—

Ruby: OH NOT YOU TOO! GO AWAY YANG!

Yang: Wait, Ruby!? Is that you!?

Ruby: Yes, it is! And you are too late to make Pyrrha your champion, because she's mine!

Jaune: No she's not! She's my champion!

Pyrrha, wide eyed:......h-hold up, i-is this the goddess of strength!?

Yang, winking: It sure is. And I have had my eyes on you for a while now.

Pyrrha: Oh my gods. Is this a fever dream!? Is this really happening?! Am I really in the presence of two goddesses and a god?

Yang: You sure are, sweetheart. And let me tell you something. Your fighting skills are awesome. I'm really impressed. And don't even get me started on your muscles. Mwah. They are a beauty.

Weiss, angrily: Do not call me Weissy!

Pyrrha, head spinning: T-that’s the goddess of i-ice! That’s the goddess of ice! The goddess of ice is standing right in front of me!

Yang, rolling her eyes: Yeah, she sure is. And she’s a cold hearted bit—

Ruby: Same thing as you! We all want Pyrrha to be our champion as well.

*Abruptly all of the bandits were quickly killed off by a red blur, some of them being frozen solid, some of them being thrown 30 feet in the air*

Pyrrha, appearing out of nowhere covered in blood: *Panting*

RWBYJ: *Appear out of nowhere*

WOO LAD THAT’S A LOT THANK U!!! this got long and i wrote an essay or two LOL so im putting it under a readmore!

3: Best game you’ve ever played? WEEEELLLL.......let me preface this with two things: one, i am a FAKE GAMER as in my laptop is not at all made for gaming, it’s piss poor, so a big chunk of games i’m interested in is because i watched a playthrough of them lol. i have a 3ds but only 3 games on it (animal crossing new leaf, tomodachi life, nintedogs & cats). second, i’m very bad at choosing favorites of things.....BUUUUT .....i choooooose, in no particular order, OFF, pigeonetics, elder scrolls oblivion, pathologic classic HD!! i’m more than likely forgetting a few though, so sorry about that

4: Worst game you’ve ever played? as i said above, cannot choose favorites, neither can i choose whatever the opposite of favorites is but...uhh, does lif even count as a game? like lif, the stupid little furry flash game i remember playing on some shady website. it was surprisingly very active with a BUNCH of people there but i kept dying like every 5 seconds....AWFUL

6: A game that’s changed you the most? WELL define Changed.....ummm aha first thing that comes to mind is OFF. it’s one of those things where you never knew you wanted something so fucking bad until you saw it--and it’s like that for me. i NEVER knew i loved that odd, surreal, colorful, “looks playful and simple in some parts but incredibly violent and unnerving in other parts” aesthetic til i played it. like aesthetically i love that game to BITS and something about it just stuck with me til the end of time.

later in life (meaning, past year or so) it changed me because it taught me a lesson about storytelling and creative endeavors. a very useful lesson. which is: things don’t really need to have a meaning. stories, art, music, writing, whatnot, while it CAN be deep and meaningful, while you CAN use it as a way to communicate with the world about all kinds of heartfelt things, it can also be...nothing, really.

once i, as usual, got ridiculously overwhelmingly sad about small things. specifically seeing other people around me come up with all kinds of deep and meaningful characters and stories, sometimes putting them into webcomics or writings of theirs, and they were all so well-thought out and detailed and what i envied most was people put a lot of themselves and their experiences into them, venting and coping through them, whilst also making these larger-than-life grandiose complex stories and worlds and so on and so forth.

it made me look at my own ideas and get mad/frustrated at how shallow they were. but then i remembered OFF and i felt better because Fun Fact, mortis ghost has a now-abandoned dA account and if you go through the comment section on his profile, he answers a lot of fan questions and he mentions several times that the game didn’t really have a “meaning”, it didn’t really have a “deeper story” or moral or anything, really. i’m paraphrasing this but i vividly remember him saying “i wanted to make a game, so i did”.

that made me feel a lot better because it made me realise that sometimes art--especially stories, in my case-- doesn’t NEED to be DEEP or have MEANING...sometimes it can just BE!!!! sometimes it really can just be all about AESTHETICS like who GIVES a shit if there’s a hidden meaning if you take the first letter of all of your characters’ names and put them backwards, sometimes all that matters is if they just VIBE with you y’know....

yume nikki is similar in this regard bc that game doesn’t have any story other than “collect egg” and yet it’s so impactful. that game doesn’t have a story or meaning it just IS........ :) GOD THATS SO LONG IM SORRY ABOUT THAT but yeah. funny violent ghostbusting baseball man is a game that changed me :)

7: A game you’ll never forget? OFF AGAIN LOL,,, it’s just so memorable because of how unique it is. visuals, soundtrack, story, everything is so memorable. unforgettable. oh god you can tell how much i love this damn game can’t you

8: Best soundtrack? yakuza 0, OFF, there is a picture (another game by mortis ghost, again composed by alias conrad coldwood who also composed OFF), pigeonetics (the entire soundtrack of which is here), jojo’s bizarre adventure all star battle and eyes of heaven, silent hill 2 & 3, undertale....probably forgetting more but all of these...earcandy

11: Hardest game you’ve played? i am a shitty gamer so this is Most games i’ve played lol!! but uhh..well you see. hardest game i remember playing as of recent is pathologic classic hd in which it’s...not only hard to understand what any character is saying at any given time lol but also, i don’t think it’s HARD it’s just...you need to focus. you REALLY need to fucking focus and pay attention in this game. so i wouldn’t say its HARD, but i’m only putting this here bc it’s in recent memory.

i say recent memory because the true answer is susceptible to “yeah, but now you’re older, it must not be so hard.” as in if i played it now i think i’d have a way easier time. but when i was around....10-12 years old i had several ps3 video game adaptations of animated movies and i had SUCH a fucking hard time with them. g-force, bolt and up in particular were fucking HARD. like genuinely, the hardest time i had EVER had in my live playing video games is tied to these three fucking games. g-force and bolt ESPECIALLY. one particular level in bolt took both me AND my sister around a year to fucking finish.

again, i was baby, so i bet i’d have a much easier time with them now that i’m 17. but for now, in my experience, bolt and g-force for the ps3 were harder than pathologic classic. i think icepick lodge should take a few notes for them for pathologic 2.

13: A game you were the most excited for when it wasn’t released yet? STREETS OF KAMUROCHO...i spent the entire day of its release anticipating its launch lol

14: A game you think would be cool if it had voice acting? hmm..most games i like and know about do have voice acting so i dunno....i guess it would’ve been kind of cool if morrowind had like, full proper voice acting. but i can understand why it only voice acted things like greetings and battle insults because GOD that game is SO...complicated...and as a result, the conversations are so lengthy and text-full. playing morrowind is really like a goddamn book! if it was voice acted i’m sure all that information would have to be shortened bc i know no one is going to fucking voice act two whole paragraphs

15: Which two games do you think would make an awesome crossover? pigeonetics and yakuza in which instead of being about the criminal underworld it’s about shady and unethical pigeon clubs, breeding, racing, etc etc...a lot of illegal shit does happen in the world of pigeons especially when it comes to racing; prized racers have been kidnapped and held for ransom before. and then there’s Avian Cucking: The Sport, where people breed the sexiest pigeons (horseman thief pouters), release them outside to seduce other people’s sexy pigeons, and bring them back and keep ‘em, drama ensues. will kiryu ever escape his past as a professional pigeon-napper, and find solace in his new life as a pigeon hobbyist? find out now by playing YACOOZA......

JOKES ASIDES i don’t know i really don’t....umm, pigeonetics and animal crossing somehow?? :O... like, instead of managing your own town it’s managing your own loft!...orrrr, the jojo games (all star battle & eyes of heaven) with yakuza, because i think they’re somewhat similar because they’re both haha Wacky Silly AND serious over the top fighty-fighting.....or maybe a crossover with OFF and discover my body, which, despite being an incredibly short and obscure indie game i still love to bits for what it’s worth. 16: Character you’ve hated most? From what game? i can’t think of any character i like, HATE...with a burning passion.. there are a few i dislike or have a complicated relationship with though.. i’m not interested in the series anymore but ouma from drv3...i’ll admit that he is a bit fun sometimes, especially in the very early beginning he’s a likeable brat but as the game progresses he becomes more irritating than anything and i have an issue with him in regards to writing, despite the fact that i have never been awake in any english class ever lol. it’s too long to put in this already long post but i’ll keep it at that. if you like him, well, good for you for finding joy in something i couldn’t! but he just doesn’t do it for me.

AH I JUST REMEMBERED....MINE......FROM YAKUZA 3....maybe i’d change my mind if i watched a playthrough of y3 again, because i think you always absorb something better on your second watch (tho i honestly Dont have the energy to do that all over again, the yakuza games are too fucking long), but i really hate his writing. spoilers for y3 but, i think mine’s writing, alongside other things in the game, were super messy...and a big part of why i hate him is that not only is he one of those “could’ve had great potential but fell flat” sorta guys but also his love for daigo is seen as some fans as good gay rep and i?????/.............um....WELL let’s just say that, i think people nowadays will see any gay character ever in any circumstance and say it’s good gay rep just based off the fact that A Gay Character exists....he was Not, good gay rep imo....he was not, let alone, Good. .........

17: What game do you never tell people you play? can’t think of any games i wouldn’t tell people i play.. idk exactly what this question’s asking. does it mean what game you don’t tell ppl you play bc you’re embarrassed about it...? i’m not very embarrassed by any of them. the only thing that comes close, i guess, is uhh lioden and wolvden. i’ve only interacted with those communities a LITTLE TINY WEE BIT, yet of what i’ve seen it’s a goddamn dumpster fire and i’d never want to be associated with them lol

19: Which game do you think deserves a revival? i’m well aware it’ll never happen and that it’s more a wet dream than anything but...PT/silent hills..... on a more realistic/”could happen” note, PIGEONETICS!!!! SERIOUSLY, it’s an amazing game about amazing animals and it teaches genetics in a very simplified and efficient way!! genetics is SO hard for me to understand, i fucking hated studying it but this game really helped me understand how it works AND its super engaging and interesting!! HOWEVER, of all the pigeon genes we know of, only a handful were seen in pigeonetics and i’d LOVE a sequel that employs new game mechanics AND new genes!! i wanna learn about bronze and stencil genes! i wanna learn about phenotypes like grizzled and pied!!! genes like sooty and dirty!!! @ UNIVERSITY OF UTAH GENETICS DEPARTMENT PLEASE IM BEGIGNG YOU

22: If you could immerse yourself in any game for one day, which game would it be? HMMM....well, if i were to play a game with a shitty story but really good and fun gameplay i’d probably continue playing it for the gameplay. but if i played a game with shitty gameplay but an interesting story, there is a chance i’d play it more for the sake of the story but also i might just quite and see the rest of the story on youtube or something. i’m more likely to go through a boring story for fun gameplay than go through boring gameplay for an interesting story, so i guess gameplay is more important to me....that is, WHEN i actually own and play a game as opposed to when i just watch someone play a game because i don’t own the game but wanna know abt the story lol

30: A game that hasn’t been localized in your country that you think should be localized? i have no idea how video game localization really works....but i assume localizing a game in india would mean something like, removing content according to cultural norm and also somehow translating it into the 22 official languages..? or just two or three language if it’s tied to a particular state, which seems way more doable. i honestly have no idea? i’ve never interacted w the indian gaming community that much to be honest, all i know of it is of the video games i’ve seen sold in some game stores and a few whispers about like solid snake or whoever from my school’s cafeteria....the most popular games here, to my knowledge, are those very streamable games like fortnite and PUBG and your call of duties and whatnot. those generic shooters. and even then, that honestly isn’t the “indian” gaming community bc this country is so FUCKHUGE, it’s just tamil nadu. one state.

soooo, according to what little i know of gaming interests in where i live, i don’t think any of the games i like should be localized here bc i don’t really think there’s an audience for it as far as i can tell :( maybe animal crossing? it’s a fun little games for all ages and i think it has a chance of becoming popular here, so maybe that is worth a shot! but i can’t think of any other game that i like that really has an audience here (other than Me lol)
