I've recently been trying to romanticize my life a little more. I cleaned my room, saved up for some new bedding covered with yellow flowers and green curtains. I reorganized my books and scattered my shelves with my trashy little treasures. I got some cheap teacups from a thrift store and drink out of them, because, why wait for a "special occasion"? Every day can be a special occasion. I started doing paint by numbers (because I have no art skills). I've started walking around singing softly to myself my favorite songs and reading poetry I love outloud. I collect every acorn cap and shiny stone even though I have no need to, like it's a heartbeat in my hand.

What does everyone do to make their life feel, well, more like life?

hi! about your cellophane windows post i was wondering if you used a specific tutorial or did you just trial and error it? im so sorry if you've answered this before :/

in primary school we used to make ‘stain glass windows’ with cellophane. my room gets beautiful morning light and i decided to bring some colour in. it was a bit of a dodgy job really late one night, just got some sheets of cellophane and sort of roughly matched them to the size of the window, then stuck them on with blu-tack. i suppose all it takes is maybe a ruler to measure the space, and then cut and stick!
