I felt too bad for not introducing him before the oc challenge post so here's a brief introduction

His name is Metano he's chronologically 30ish but he's mentally in his early/mid 20s, he formerly lived in the city of outcasts in the desert with his mom and sister and was forced into a criminal path from a very young age

He's not particularly close with most of the main characters but he's friends with Marina and Spider

He's linked to another character I haven't introduced yet and his name is Psyonick, they're childhood best friends from before he was taken to the desert city, Metano's both wanted and constantly on the run unlike his friend that is one of the pillars of the contraband "science" industry in the metropolis, Nick offered multiple times a place to stay but other than crashing in one oh his apartments Metano refuses any ulterior help in housing

I've been writing down a lot of my story recently and I'm also thinking about making some concepts/story boards of two music videos of my ocs, the first one starring Vera would be the easiest bc it doesn't have a lot of details and complicated backgrounds and the other one is about Kit's incident so it will take a lot of time and I honestly haven't chosen the song yet

Also sometimes I get soo overwhelmed about this story because it's A LOT even if I don't post about it much (I get anxious when I try to post something about it), I think I have the material for a dozen of music videos or a 3 season series (+spin off), and other than me no one knows about the full thing and I feel like I need other brains to store the informations😭 I really care about this project but sometimes I think I should scrap it only because it's too much for me at this moment in my life but yeah

Controversial art take

It is just me or it's lowkey annoying the fact that is so common in the art community to think that the hooked nose is the default facial feature that can make a "boring" and "eurocentric" character so much better just for the fact that everyone agreed to think that "it is the worst facial feature that someone can have" so they overdo it, I think to claim it back and to show that it can be the most beautiful feature

And yeah I get it it's completely reasonable, but we are left with hundreds of copy paste characters that have the same """undesirable features""" that, let's be real, are boring and ugly just for white and european folks at best, and they act like they're so original and diverse but they're literally just some white people with hooked noses and droopy eyes like. They're still eurocentric they're still the beauty standard especially if they're men. I mean there are bigger issues in the art community but I never saw someone talking about it and it's something that never sat right with me but maybe it's just me idk

I always imagined the story of my ocs as a "series of music videos" but if it was an animated series or live action only the grandparents of some of the main cast would appear in the first season and it would be set in the mid 1900s

The first season will be talking about the creation of the Ai and maybe in the last part of season two a new group of "heroes" will be introduced (1990 circa in the timeline), they would be all in their late teens/early 20s so in the current timeline they would be 60/70 🤯
