I have an idea of what Percy and Loki's relationship might be/start 💚💀💚

just imagine that Loki is, even in his mythology, considered a cruel and unreliable God, he is certainly not very loved by the other gods, people fear or despise him for his humor and cruel pranks (Thor and Odin don't count)

nothing Interesting has happened for a long time and so he is the first to meet Poseidon's newly created daughter, she is a beautiful, adorable and CHAOTIC little girl

naturally he wants to build a non-consensual friendship with her to enjoy and watch all the confusion and chaos she accidentally causes just by breathing

but during this friendship he falls in love, how could he not when he has an adorable little girl looking at him with such admiration? little Percy laughs at his pranks, she is interested and enjoys hearing about his stories and adventures when was the last time someone looked at him with so much affection?When was the last time someone was so genuinely happy to see him?

We know he is loved by his uncle (Odin) and cousin/brother (Thor) but they are so stoic and serious that I doubt Loki feels fully included in the family dynamic

So when he finds someone he loves as intensely and genuinely as Percy does he can't help but feel drawn like a moth hovering around a flame, a delicate flame that can be snuffed out at any moment, whether by the mortality of aging or by some another threat

he wants to protect her, he wants to keep that fragile butterfly safe trapped between his fingers to protect her tie her to him to prevent her fragile heart from being hurt by the world to prevent her from loving another, avoid her looking away from him

gods love intensely obsessively, he is only worried since she is so naive manipulation, so delicate so weak, any careless touch can stain her tanned skin with purple and black bruises, any touch can tear those small, colorful wings with ease

gods don't love like humans they don't know how to differentiate love and obsession when you live so long the lines of what is good and evil get blurred feeling alone the desire to protect imprison the loved one is normal

The love of the gods tends to end in horrible tragedies sadness, Percy is just a beauty who doesn't know how the world works the horrible things the gods do in the name of love he's just protecting her all he wants in return is her love all he wants in return is her love her tears, moans, sweat, blood and sighs

he can't wait to have her in his arms holding her so tightly that their bodies will merge to the point where no one will be able to know where Percy begins and where Loki ends.

Friend For All

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now. In my opinion, Dagur is the only character who could actually have an amazing time hanging out with every member of the Dragon Riders. I don't even think the Riders themselves can say that. Please, hear me out. I know they're friends, but they're a friend group. This is an important distinction because how often do you really see Fishlegs and the twins just having a ball together? (That "wedding" doesn't count because the poor Ingerman was not enjoying himself.) What about Snotlout and Astrid just genuinely having fun without anyone else there? You really don't get that. So, I'll try to explain why I think Dagur could do this. (Spoilers probably. I'll just use the warning to be safe.)

Dagur and the twins could have chaotic fun. It's probably unsafe for anyone around them, but no one else is matching their pure insanity. All three of them have this combination of sometimes just doing things to mess with people or just doing something that then causes problems by accident. Still, I think they'd have fun. They can try to out prank each other (think Loki Day). They also still know how to be serious when the time absolutely calls for it, so they could have less silly times too. Ultimately, I think their best times together would be when they're just causing heck for the world and laughing together about what they've done.

Dagur and Astrid could enjoy the more warrior/protector side of life. I think there would be a healthy competition. Astrid was in charge of keeping the Edge secure with defenses and Dagur snuck on several times. He might even end up being the tester for her new security systems. I could see her trying to make things to keep him out and him being fine seeing how close to death he comes while still trying to break in. Also, since Astrid's got that drill sergeant thing going on that we saw in "Team Astrid," I could see her being curious what types of training he has his soldiers do. They might even trade ideas back and forth to have the strongest fighters.

Dagur and Fishlegs is a friendship I have wanted to see more of ever since "Family on the Edge." They were so adorable geeking out together about Gronckles. They're such an odd buddy duo because they seem like complete opposites, but I think it could work. Fishlegs wanted a spa area and are we really going to say Dagur wouldn't love that? Mr. Meditation and Fruit Baths? Yeah, he'd happily tag along for a spa day. Then, they can geek out more about Gronckles or other things like this. A personal headcanon I have which adds to this is I believe Dagur is pretty well-read. There are little things like him knowing about the third eye, French, how to make the antidote for Nadder venom when he got shot (since they didn't have dragons on Berserker Island), etc. So, I feel like he and Fishlegs might have more things to nerd over than most assume. Dagur even was impressed by Fishlegs's thirst for knowledge. Maybe they could discuss the different topics they've read and studied. Study buddies! (Sorta)

Dagur and Snotlout are a duo I think would be amazing. Like with Fishlegs, there were episodes where I just knew I wanted more of them together. Seeing them fight off traitorous Berserkers, then start providing commentary to Hicctrid in "Mi Amore Armorwing" were some great moments to me. The reason I think they could work is that I feel like they'd be good influences on each other. (Actually, I already have a story out on AO3 that dives into this called "Means We're Friends.") Dagur is himself and always will be. Even in RTTE, there's a part of Snotlout who still wants to be who others...namely Spitelout...think he should be. Dagur could help him learn to just be whoever he really is and not care what anyone else says. Also, Snotlout is more sensitive than he'd ever admit, so I think he'd be able to help Dagur in those moments when the Berserker is just clearly not picking up on how to respond properly in situations to avoid weirding everyone out. They could also do a bunch of sparring together too and get into random things for fun like how Snotlout started narrating Tuffnut's search for Chicken. I definitely think Dagur would've joined in on that.

Dagur and Hiccup...well, of course. They're brothers and friends, so that's a given. These two are going on the wildest adventures because Hiccup will never really stay put and Dagur would get bored if he did. There's that fun protective side too. Anyone around them knows that if they mess with Hiccup, they're dying in the most horrific ways possible. Plus, we'd have to throw in some big brother advice moments from Dagur to help Hiccup out with becoming a chief in the future. We've seen the redhead offer advice to Hiccup before with not letting revenge consume him. We've also seen Hiccup offer some comfort with things like their search for Oswald. So, you'd get the more adventurous/fun side of the friendship along with the more serious moments.

On Monday, I'm going to publish a series of oneshots set both in and out of their universe to show how these relationships could work. Considering Monday is April Fool's, I just knew which group I had to start with...(It's out now and called "Just One of the Riders.")

1. nick miller (new girl)

- he’s so chaotic and stupid and i relate to him so much, definitely one of my favourite comfort characters

2. andy dwyer (parks and recreation)

- also chaotic and stupid, i just think he’s funny and adorable, just generally wholesome, another favourite comfort character

3. loki laufeyson (marvel cinematic universe)

- he’s on that absolute king shit!!! chaotic, funny, badass, has magic and can be scary (which is a slay). the fact that he’s queer is a major plus too

4. scott lang (marvel cinematic universe)

- just a goofy lil guy with so much love in his heart. another amazing and wholesome comfort character

5. merlin + arthur pendragon (bbc merlin)

- 2 for 1 cause they’re best together. i read merthur fics everyday and while i know fics aren’t accurate to their actual character/canon, they have one of the best dynamics ive ever seen

6. adelina amouteru (the young elites trilogy by marie lu)

- been ages since i read this but adelina is such a cool character. if i had powers, id want to have hers (or flying, that’d be great). actually went as adelina for halloween once. 10000/10 recommend the young elites

7. lena luthor / morgana pendragon (supergirl / bbc merlin)

- another 2 for 1. i watched merlin because i saw katie mcgrath in supergirl and now i read merthur everyday. both lena and morgana’s journeys are beautiful imo. lena from light to dark back to light. morgana’s from light to dark when it was so preventable. perfect characters for a perfect actress

8. nick nelson (heartstopper tv)

- i related to his s1 storyline quite a bit but overall he’s just such a loving character. sometimes when i see him on screen, i think he’s gonna explode with how much he loves charlie, his mom, nellie. reblog if u also need a nick nelson hug LOL

9. mirabella (three dark crowns series by kendare blake)

- one of my favourite book series and my favourite mc!! like seriously guys look up this series, the original plot is so cool and there’s some plot twists that made my jaw drop - my sister rating goes mirabella, katharine, arsinoe btw hehe

10. dwight schrute (the office)

- he carried the show tbh. especially after michael left. i never rly cared much for jim and pam (ofc i wanted them to get together but i don’t love them). dwight was consistently funny and chaotic, and most of the best plots included/rided on him

You're gonna be giving them all a run for their money, Fenrir and Loki are the only ones that are able to consistently match your energy while the others are desperately flailing around trying to stop you from doing something to get yourself hurt

That proves more difficult once they find that you won't accept any kind of domestication arc without a heavy round of sassing regardless of who the person is

Sirius is one such individual that definitely gets the brunt of your sharp tongue. He doesn't think he's ever heard someone call him old fashioned in so many creative ways before

Even Jonah doesn't stand a chance and you aren't about to believe that anyone, even Lancelot, would be willing to hurt what everyone had generally agreed was a child in their eyes and too young for any of them to be willing to involve in any kind of violence

That same thing ALSO goes straight out of the window and proves a lot more difficult than they had previously anticipated

They don't know what kind of things they teach you in the land of reason but they definitely don't expect you to be well versed in any kind of battle strategy or weaponry or be so willing to get violent

Strange enough to see from a teenager and stranger to see from a girl, something that you definitely take offence to when they try to put you with Seth to try and get you to relax which somewhat works but ends semi-badly

While everyone else tries to keep you calm, Fenrir adores you just the way you are

He's aware that it's dangerous and doesn't want you on the battlefield either unless absolutely necessary because it isn't as though he wasn't similar to you at your age but he's living having someone who agrees with him around

Kind of takes on the older brother/ best friend position with you which all but sends Sirius into a fit trying to contain not only Fenrir but you as well

On the days that Fenrir is unavailable, sneaking off with Loki to muck around in the woods and say hello to Harr is a definite

If he wasn't already interested in getting to know you because you were the new Alice then he definitely was after hearing the mess that you had made the Black and Red armies during your stay while you casually switched between the two with no issue as if the two didn't see the other as threats

Neither would be too willing to hurt a teenager and you're a frequent guest as both army bases. Kyle can definitely say that he's seen you more than enough times within just a week of you bring in Cradle

You're intolerable to them but they all see you as something akin to a younger sibling

Loki is more than happy to join you in your bouts of chaos while Harr acts as something of a refuge for you while you wait to watch the chaos unfold

Dean especially hates having you around his students

You're a bad influence, go away, but don't go to his brother. That's worse

Ok so I think I am obessed with Sylki-

I'm in Paris right now (I'm French) (but I don't live in Paris, thank Goddess) and seeing all these lovers kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower, in front of the Louvre or in the boat on the Seine gave me a Sylki One-shot idea

and then, Loki tells her that this is the first time they can be together under normal circumstances - without a planet about to crash into them or anything, and in a normal place. They also tell her, that after her chaotic life spent in traumatic places, this is the first time that she is in a normal place, which is not an apocalypse.

<< so what ?>> she says.

and they insist on spending the day here. just enjoying a nice normal (and obviously romantic-) day together, without thinking about anything. Sylvie refuses at first, thinks it's a waste of time. but Loki insists on offering this to her. They really want her to fully live a day without apocalypses, they want her to be happy, they want her to smile and to have fun, they want to give her that (and spend time with her).

Finally, she accepts (because she was dying for it deep down, you know her), trying to act as if she was annoyed. Smiling like she never have smiled two minutes later.

and the two lovers spend their day together, a bit like teenagers discovering love, far from their problems, happy as idiots and adorable. they go to all the places they see, from rivers to restaurants to cinemas etc. they explore everything they can, laughing at the strange things they sometimes find.

at the end of the day, they use the tempad to get where they needed to go, and where Mobius (and maybe B15) is waiting for them. he was panicked and worried, not knowing what had happened to them, and ran over to them, asking them what happened, why did it take them so long, how did the mission, asking them how they were doing, saying he was worried...

and the two then react like teenagers caught in the act, a little embarrassed and blushing. At first they don't want to tell him tje truth, but they finally do it.

When Mobius learns what they've done, his reaction is halfway between the "I'm going to kill you morons" of the father exhausted by his kids, and the "you are adorable and I want to read fanfiction about you two, hope you had fun at least". he starts yelling at them, telling them it was stupid, but deep down - and it shows - he's happy to see them happy like that. And they just smile

Needless to say, you had been more than just confused when he had first introduced Sylvie to you and now, about two weeks later and with her lingering about in Loki’s and your apartment, it kept getting weirder and weirder.

You knew nothing about her. Where she had come from, what her life had been prior to wanting to destroy the TVA like a house of cards, whether she truly was a Variant of Loki. But one thing was for sure, they were both mischievous and battling for the upper hand like children, almost like siblings.

“You’re not going to tell me about what happened on Lementis-1, are you?”

“There is nothing to tell.” Loki emerged from the kitchen, holding a black cup in his large hand. He had been giddy for days now and he was even more playful than usual. You knew he had been through a lot and Loki… well, Loki had always had very questionable coping mechanisms but recently, he had been starting to drown his thoughts and sorrows in alcohol.

You shook your head in a taunting manner when he sat down on the bed with you and leaned back, relaxing. You really couldn’t deny that you loved seeing him like that.

“Where is Sylvie?” He asked.

“In the bathroom. Using up all the hot water again, I suppose.”

“Nothing that magic could not fix.”

“Oh yeah? Well, in that case, you should probably shower with me.” Loki smirked and took a sip of his drink, making you frown.

“What is that?” You took the cup from him before he could protest, sniffing it—when you didn’t smell anything but the mint leaves he had thrown in there along with some ice cubes, you took a sip yourself.

“Is this pure vodka? Are you crazy?”

“Give it back to me, dear.”

“No! I’m not letting you get drunk again! I know you’re a god but even your liver will sooner or later protest and then what?” Loki smiled, amusement scurrying over his face.

“It takes a lot more for a god to get drunk in the first place.”

“Well, you’re not drinking that.” Leaning back, you put it on the nightstand, out of his reach. Only a split second, later, Loki materialised it in his hand again, a green shimmer of light remaining.

“Loki!”

The God of Mischief laughed.

“It’s not the first cup anyway. And if I recall correctly, you rather enjoy seeing me drunk.”

“But not if it happens every day!” Heavens, Loki could be so adorable. You shook your head once more, unable to hide your smile when you realised. “How many of those did you have then? You already are drunk, aren’t you?”

“Well… no. Perhaps a little bit. I’m in an exceptionally good mood.”

“Yes, you are, Trickster.” Grinning widely, you leaned down to kiss him, your lips only an inch apart, only to be interrupted by Sylvie. A disgruntled sound escaped her lips when she spotted you two snuggled up on the bed, your right leg draped over Loki’s body.

“You know, it still amazes me how you got yourself a human of all species. I mean… there are so many to choose from. Humans are so… gullible.” Sylvie raised an eyebrow, the glinting in her blue eyes proving she meant you no harm but rather that she took joy in provoking you. “And so easy to break.”

“I know I promised but it’s really hard to get used to her,” you said to Loki.

“She is technically me.”

“Yeah, that’s kind of my point.” You giggled, causing Loki to roll his eyes at you. “I can’t believe you’re somehow the same person, to be honest, she is… mean.”

“I am mean? I’m being honest. And I didn’t try to kill you yet.” She said nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders.

“Very reassuring. Thanks.”

Sylvie raised her eyebrows. “Well… at the very least I do see why he’s courting you.” She eyed you up and down with her lips parted, her hair still a little wet. “You are quite attractive… for a mortal.”

You blinked, too stunned and confused to stop her from running a finger down your collarbone.

“Hey… keep your hands to yourself.” Loki snapped half-heartedly.

“She is dating you, therefore she is dating me as well. Right?” And then, Sylvie had the audacity to wink and of course, your body decided to react to it.

“You guys are giving me a migraine…” And your brain was unable to process what was happening. This woman wasn’t Loki. At least… she wasn’t your Loki. She wasn’t the Loki you knew, not the Loki you loved, not the Loki whose story had touched you to the point of countless tears.

I don’t know if you’ve been asked this before but do you have any particular Lokius headcanons?

I actually do have a lot of headcanons about them, and the list keeps getting bigger and bigger whenever my brain comes up with something new. So I’m afraid it’s impossible for me to name them all, but some of my favorites are,

Loki and Mobius riding on a jet ski into the sunset together.

Loki and Mobius as chaotic cop buddies who solve crimes together. Bonus, they are also lovers. This can work either as an AU or a canon-divergence where they run the reformed TVA together. (Still hoping the latter will be canon one day though)

Mobius having the habit where he always works too hard and barely takes care of himself. So it’s Loki’s job to take care of him and make sure he gets enough sleep per day.

Loki and Mobius being the worse patient, if either one of them gets sick or injured during a mission.

Mobius taking care of Loki when he falls ill or when he gets hurt during a mission. Loki taking care of Mobius when he falls ill or when he gets hurt during a mission.

Loki taking Mobius to Asgard and introducing him to Frigga, who absolutely loves and adore Mobius. While Thor keeps intimidating him, saying ‘if you hurt my lil brother, I’ll break your neck. I am always watching’ but in the end he warms up to Mobius and accepts him as his brother-in-law and as a part of their family.

From the previous hc above, I also fancy this one where both Thor and Hela always intimidate Mobius and watch his every move only because he’s their baby brother’s boyfriend. Loki has to constantly tell them to back off because Mobius is just a harmless little mustache man.

Loki taking over earth. The Avengers trying and falling to stop him, until Mobius shows up. Steve yelling at him to get out of the way, because he believes he’s going to get himself killed. But Mobius just stands there, crossing his arms over his chest and sighing softly. Loki going “oh shit” when he sees him, and just like that, he stops. The Avengers being super confused as to who the hell this man is and how he’s able to stop Loki just like that. They’re outright shocked when Mobius tells them he’s Loki’s boyfriend. (I plan on writing an actual fic about this soon. It’s in my to-write list)

Sure, I hope you like it! I included characters from the shows too. Feel free to suggest characters! (There will be a second part because I gotta start splitting these longer posts up lol. If after the second post I'm still missing someone, let me know!) Also sorry if this is no good lol >_>

Marvel | How they'd react to you asking them out + how your first date would be (Part 1)

Loki:

- He will hit you with the sweetest smile when you ask him out. Feigns smugness, but see through it! His eyes would be so happy and wide 🥺

- He will be such an overthinker leading up to it. Absolutely the type to take a deep breath before approaching you because nerves, and probably mentally hypes himself up to feel confident

- A first date with Loki would definitely be memorable as he'd go out of his way to impress you. He'd plan it, and every choice would be catered to you

- Eventually he'll lose interest in whatever you were doing, as he'd be very conversational. Asks you a million questions, and listens to your answers so fervently that you can't help but blush. He is very politely mannered all the while and won't expect anything at the end of your date. If you surprised him with a kiss goodbye, he'd be a smiling mess

Matt Murdock:

- The sweetest. He might have some reservations about getting close with someone, but he'd still say yes. Admittedly, your intentions would be much of a surprise - his senses are heightened and such, so he'd pick up on your cues. Still, he wouldn't be able to stop smiling

- Chances are, a first date with him would be more of an unplanned, random thing. But if you did ask and you were making the plans, he'd actually adore being spoiled like that. He could definitely treat you to an amazing evening if he wanted, but being the one being treated and planned for would be a welcome surprise

- No matter what, a first date with him would be fun and casual. He'd manage to both put you at ease and make you laugh, and make you just the right amount of nervous and fluttery (all while smiling to himself because he is completely aware what sort of effect he has on you)

Frank Castle:

- He'd be hesitant. He'd want to, but his first instinct would actually be to say no. Of course, he wouldn't be able to resist, especially upon seeing you flush up from embarrassment during the awkward pause between you asking and him saying yes

- You'd have to be pretty close with him to get this far I think, so at this point feelings would already be pretty well established. You'd be on his mind constantly and you actually asking him out? His mood would be massively improved, to say the least. He's actually smiling!

- The date itself would be casual, sweet and fun. Frank is down to earth and relaxed, and probably wouldn't be one for something fancy - unless you are, of course. Diner dates, walks around the city, and endless conversations. Definitely has a funny streak and will surprise you by making you laugh a lot the whole time

Billy Russo:

- No doubt he'd make you nervous when you asked him out, smiling smugly and making your heart race. He'd agree of course, flirting heavily all the while

- A first date with Billy will be a mixture of fun, romantic and tense. No matter how calm and collected a person you are, he'll easily manage to make you a nervous wreck with his intimidating and flirtatious personality. Seeing as he has a wicked streak, he'll be very aware of it and it will 100% be intentional

- He can just as easily get you to relax however, completely changing his tone and easily making you laugh. The date itself would be surprisingly relaxed too, and probably catered to your tastes and interests

Wanda Maximoff:

- Confidently agrees and happy you asked. Will be in a good mood up until your date, smiling anytime she remembers

- The first date with Wanda would be pretty casual and intimate. Probably something like walking around together in the evening and stopping to look around shops while talking together. I think Wanda is the type only to only agree to this if you already have established feelings for each other. That having been said, there would still be some amount of awkwardness since you're now both actually acting on them. Giddiness, butterflies, blushing, etc. Uncertainty about where you stand so you'd be mutually hesitant about how to act and what to say, not wanting to make things awkward. Cute :')

Sam Wilson:

- Instant smiles and smug eyebrows. Agrees without hesitation of course:)

- A first date with Sam would be really fun and easy-going, I think, similar to Wanda. He'd put you at ease and you'd both get so caught up in conversation with each other that you'd probably focus more on that than anything else

- Not much would happen outside of that, I think, as he'd be more interested in getting to know you better than anything else. Really patient and sweet, and though he'll definitely flirt a lot, he'll make you feel special with how curious he is about you and how attentive he is to you and your interests (the type to remember something you brought up on your first date several dates later)

Steve Rogers:

- He will appreciate you asking tbh, and won't be able to stop smiling at how cute and eager you look. Happily agrees!

- He's classic and such so he'll bring you flowers of course. But plot twist! You brought him flowers too. Will not stop smiling because of this. You'll have him wrapped around your finger after that

- A first date with Steve would be romantic - a table in the back of an intimate, nice restaurant while you talked away. He's good at making you blush, and believe it or not, so are you with him. If you walk around for a while afterwards or he walks you home he'll hold your hand, eyeballing you to make sure it was okay first and smiling when you slip your hand into his

Bucky Barnes:

- You catch him off guard and he gets nervous! Agrees quickly without a thought because yes he wants to but also because he just blurted it out because he's nervous. Awkward laughter and nodding along while you make plans. Very happy and can't easily hide it

- Similar to Steve, he'll definitely bring flowers and be all old fashioned and sweet, though he's a little more casual about it

- Bucky is a bit reserved, so he'd be nervous and a little withdrawn the entire first date, especially if he really liked you. He'd be sweet and polite, of course, but it would take a few dates for him to open up. After your first, he'd probably feel bad because it didn't go how he wanted but if you're patient he'll open up a little more with each date (even if he doesn't show it at first, you make him a flustered mess each time and he'd really enjoy himself)

Tony Stark:

- Most likely Tony will be the one to ask you out. If you beat him to it, it will only make him like you more, as he'd like your confidence

- It could go one of two ways with him. Either he plans it, and you're in for a night of over-the-top gestures and fanciness, or you do and he is a little salty (but also secretly smitten and pleased) that you chose something more low-key and traditional

- He'd be surprisingly nervous and would over-compensate by trying to impress you a lot the first time you went out together (also rambles a lot). If you ~subtly~ encourage him he'd relax, appreciating and liking you all the more for it

Agatha Harkness:

- She'll be pleasantly surprised when you ask her out. Cue eyebrow wiggles and a devious grin. You pick the time and place!

- She isn't picky. After all, what you're doing doesn't matter half as much as the fact that you're on a date to begin with. She'll make the most out of anything. Dinner, movie, whatever you like

- Though I feel like she'd probably enjoy something a bit more active and would make you laugh/smile a lot in the process, to her satisfaction. Skating, arcade, anything like that. She's kind of chaotic but it would be cute!

TheAwkwardAnglophile’s Year in TV Shows: 2021

I had so much fun putting this together in 2020 that I decided to do it again, although I’m a little late in actually posting it. Oh well! This only includes shows that aired new content in 2021, or content that was new to me. Be warned: SPOILERS ABOUND! Here is the list in alphabetical order:

Behind the Attraction: I’m a Disney World fanatic, and was delighted to find this gem on Disney+ that went into the history and development of some of the most iconic rides ever.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: I MISS IT ALREADY. Their final season was so good, especially seeing Peraltiago as parents to adorable little Mac. But the series finale?? *chef’s kiss* I don’t think I’ve ever watched anything with THAT many callbacks crammed in. It was insane and chaotic and ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. One of the best finales ever! NINE NINE!

Call Me Kat: I’m going to go ahead and say this first: this show is nowhere near as good as Miranda, its British predecessor. But I have enjoyed it so far. I love Mayim Bialik’s quirky energy, which I’d missed since Big Bang Theory ended. All the characters are fun and interesting, and once they stopped trying to copy all of Miranda’s plots and came up with more original material, that’s when they really found their footing.

Derry Girls: An absolutely fascinating, hilarious surprise! I was so swept up in the culture and uniqueness of this show. I’ve never set foot in Ireland (although I would LOVE to), but I did go to high school in the ‘90s, so I appreciated the nostalgia.

Emily in Paris: Ok, I know. I KNOW. But it’s fun, colorful escapism for me, and I just really don’t care that’s it’s hated. Luc and Mindy are such fun characters, and Gabriel is GORGEOUS. Season 2 flowed really well, and I absolutely fell for Alfie.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: I enjoyed this so much more than I originally thought. I didn’t have much connection to Sam or Bucky from the movies, but through the medium of TV and the time for character development, I began to care for them. Probably my favorite scenes were when Sam and Bucky tossed around Cap’s shield outside the house, and our new Cap’s speech in the last episode. Oh, and of course, dancing Zemo!

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous: I really cannot say enough good things about this show! The animation is great, and the characters are fantastic. There is all the suspense, adventure, and feels you would expect from the movies. I hope there are more episodes to come!

Loki: Amazing, simply amazing. I loved Loki’s journey, and his dynamic with Mobius was pure gold. He Who Remains absolutely came in and stole the show in the last episode. Incredible performance. But I think my fave character is the TVA itself. What a brilliant aesthetic. I just wanted to roam around the TVA and explore, learning their systems. And, I’m also a little partial to it since I’ve been in its real-life location many times (the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta).

Lost in Space: STRESS. This show is pure stress, one high-stakes disaster after another, which obviously makes it interesting to watch. But STRESS. Their final season was probably not my favorite of the three, but they ended it well, and that’s all I can ask for.

Monsters At Work: Absolute marvelous perfection. Not kidding. You can tell how much care they put into crafting this. Wonderful callbacks, and I loved how they continued the Monsters Inc. story without having the focus completely on the main characters. We got to see a completely fresh perspective with wonderful new characters. Ben Feldman voicing our protagonist? Yes, please! I’ve hardly seen any buzz about this show, even when it first came out, and it’s SO worth the watch.

Motel Makeover: Don’t waste your time on this. It piqued my interest, this idea of renovating an entire retro motel, but the two designers are so obnoxious and their voices are nearly unbearable. That being said, I still ended up watching the whole dang thing, because I had to see the finished product.

Never Have I Ever: I really fell in love with this show! It was heartfelt and hilarious, and nearly every scene with Devi’s dad made me cry. I’m also 100% Team Ben.

Only Murders in the Building: Wow, this was so incredibly done. Steve Martin and Martin Short, are you kidding me? Obviously it was hilarious. I was completely sucked in. I should have been able to figure it out sooner than I did, but it’s not my strength. LOL I really love the opening title music and animation, too.

The Rookie: MY CHENFORD LOVING HEART!! They are my current top ship, and while I love all of the characters, Tim and Lucy are the main reasons I watch. I love them dearly, and it’s led me to writing more fanfic again and interacting with the wonderful fandom on here. Season 3 had some wonderful moments, and although season 4 hasn’t been the best, I’m still hopeful for more good content to come!

Star Trek: DIscovery: I feel like season 4 has been truly delivering. They have touched on grief, identity, belonging, mental health, in addition to all the action and adventure they normally have. There have been so many beautifully written lines that I lost count. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the season!

Star Trek: Lower Decks: So much fun. Just ridiculous amounts of fun. I love the core four, and my boy Tom Paris got to make an appearance, which was a delight!

Star Trek: Prodigy: I have been a Voyager fan literally since day one, and always loved the powerhouse that is Janeway, so having her back is wonderful. These new characters are intriguing, and the animation is GORGEOUS. Each episode just leaves me with loads more questions!

Supermarket Sweep: Always a fun, easy watch. I still have such a soft spot for the original, but Leslie Jones has grown on me a lot. Plus, there seem to be way more bonuses nowadays.

Superstore: They also had one of the best series finales ever! SIMMOSA! They got back together, and married, and it makes me happy even thinking about it now! Garrett’s final announcements over that montage was just perfection.

This Is Pop: A really interesting documentary diving into different topics in the music industry. Very enjoyable.

WandaVision: My FAVORITE Marvel thing EVER. It was a glorious TV viewing experience. I don’t even know how to fully put it into words. Everything about it was excellent. EXCELLENT. Plus, it gave us one of the beautiful lines I’ve ever heard uttered on TV, which I now have on a necklace, “What is grief, if not love persevering?”

What If...?: Out of the 4 Marvel shows I watched, this was my least favorite. But there were some good moments. The Captain Carter, Black Panther, and Thor episodes all stand out. But the Doctor Strange one? GEEZ, that was so heavy. That sat on me long after it aired.

Young Sheldon: Still overall, I love this show. However, it’s clearly starting to shift into the reality we were told about many times on TBBT, and I’m not sure exactly how I feel about it, or how they will actually play this out without losing some of the show’s best qualities. I’m also curious what happens with puberty hitting Sheldon and Missy, and the actors that play them. I did really like them bringing Howard back!

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist: My heart! Season 2 took a lot of different turns, but I loved that! There were so many good episodes, and I was devastated when it was cancelled. Max hearing heart songs?! And as much as I love Simon, I was thrilled about Zomax getting back together. And then thankfully, we got Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas, which was pure joy (and tears, a lot of tears). I guess that is the final ZEP (is it??), but it was a perfect way to close out a show that means so much to me, and was cancelled WAY too soon.

Loki goes all out for your birthday - but not in the grand way one might expect. Sure, it’s extravagant and so extra, but it’s also intimate. He doesn’t want you milling about a dull ‘party’ full of boring people that would contribute nothing to the fun to be had. The entire dining hall is cleared out per his order, and by the nines, he micromanages the hell out of it all. The only people that are invited are those he knows you’re friends with, people who make you smile that big, bright smile he loves.

There’s plenty of food and drink and music, all prepared in your honor, but that is the plan for the evening. And Loki sure as hell isn’t waiting to start the celebration. You wake to the whisper of your name low in your ear, his hands firmly massaging at your back to ease you into the waking world. The first thing you see when your eyes finally focus is your lover, a content smile on his face.

“As adorable as you look when you drool, I can’t let you sleep the day away.” He teases, easily dodging your playful slap. The mischief eases from his eyes for a moment and in its place rises something soft, something full of adoration. “Happy birthday, my love.”

He responds to your bashful ‘thank you’ with a kiss, one that tastes of something sweet. It’s then that you realize he’s set a tray on your nightstand that has your favorite pastries and your usual morning coffee. Your entire body warms with the realization that he’s spent his morning baking for you just because he knows how much you love it. Of course, the pastries are delicious and you happily hand feed him bites to share right there in bed.

Loki runs you a hot bath with those special oils that make your skin so very soft but before he joins you, he leaves the presents he got you on the bed. He wants you to open them when it’s just the two of you. It feels intimate, too personal for an entire crowd of friends to see. So after he lets his hands wander all over your body in the bath - cleverly disguised as offering to wash you, of course - Loki anxiously awaits your reaction to the gifts he’s brought.

You’re absolutely enthralled. If there’s anything consistently true about Loki, it’s that he’s got a sharp eye. He notices everything, especially the little things. So when he sees your eyes linger on a beautiful dress or an old book in the market, he makes note of it. Pride blossoms in his chest when he sees how well he’s done, how happy you are with your gifts.

“I can’t wait to try it on!” You exclaim with a brilliant laugh. The moment you drop your robe, you’re interrupted before you can begin to slip the dress on.

“Oh, I don’t know, darling,” Loki pushes you down onto the bed, reveling in your surprised giggle as he climbs over you. “I think I much prefer you… like this.”

And if you spend the entire time before the party wrapped up in each other in bed, who can blame you?

You're losing yourself in the God of Mischief's kisses – letting the world around you fade into the background as you straddle his lap and wrap your arms around his neck – hearing nothing more than the moans and sounds that come from your lips and tongues dancing. The one external sound the both of you do hear, however, is Eloise.

"Looks like someone's awake," Loki grins up at you – his hands resting on your hips.

"I'll get her," you smile.

You get off Loki's lap and eagerly walk into Eloise's room – approaching her with a smile. The three-month-old seems to always be happy. The smile on her face is with both her eyes and her mouth – her little legs kick excitedly as you bend down to pick her up and carry her to her dad. "How'd you sleep, sweet girl?" you ask the baby – bouncing her on your hip as you approach Loki. "Look!" you excitedly gasp – letting Eloise see her father. "There's dada."

Eloise giggles while you pass her to Loki. Knowing that she's always hungry when she wakes up, you go to the kitchen and make her a bottle. While you're mixing the formula with the water, you can't help the smile that comes across your face.

"And what're you smiling about, huh?" Loki teases you from the sofa.

You place the bottle in the microwave, and you let it go for about five seconds. "I'm just...excited." Loki's eyes light up, and a proud smile appears. "In like, nine months, we'll have a...two babies of our own...that I'll get to breastfeed and bond with." Loki hums. You can tell he's contemplating something. "What is it?" you question – walking back to Loki and Eloise with the bottle.

"I was just – I mean, if you think about it, you pretty much are Eloise's mother," he says – smiling as his infant daughter joyfully wraps her lips around the bottle nipple. "You know, not biologically, but..."

"Yeah," you confirm – giving him a soft smile. "I love her like my own."

As the god feeds his baby daughter, you sit next to him – watching the baby girl drink as much as she can – twirling your index finger in Loki's long, black curls.

"She has your hair," you chuckle – playing with a small curl on Eloise's dark-haired head. "I bet she'll be absolutely stunning when she grows up."

Loki smiles and lets one of his hands go to your womb.

"And I'm willing to bet that ours will too," he says softly – pure love pouring from his eyes and into your soul. "I love you."

You lean over with a smile and kiss his lips. "And I love you."

Later that day, you and Loki take Eloise shopping. The near four-month-old grows out of her clothes so fast that she always needs new ones.

"I love seeing you so happy," Loki says with a smile – holding Eloise in his arms while the two of you walk through the mall.

You smile up to the god. "You've made me this happy." You and Loki come across a Boba Tea stand, and you stop in front of it. "I'll be right back, babe," you say – pecking Loki's lips before turning to order a drink.

Loki and Eloise walk around the area – letting her look at the pretty clothes on display through the windows.

"Hello, there," a young, blonde girl comes up to Loki. He looks around to make sure she's talking to him and not someone behind him. "She's so adorable!" the girl squeals – reaching out to touch Eloise. Loki quickly moves her over into his other arm – getting her away from the stranger's touch. "Aww, how old is she?"

"Why?" Loki asks – becoming suspicious of the girl's motives.

She begins to twirl a strand of blonde hair and giggles. "So, I see you don't have a ring. Single dad, I'm assuming?" Loki looks around for you, and he exhales when he sees you walking back over – your eyebrows furrowed at the young girl trying to hit on Loki. "That's so ho-,"

"Excuse us," you step in between her and Loki – watching with a smirk as she crosses his arms.

"Excuse you!" the girl scoffs. "We were talking if you didn't notice."

You glare at the girl – hearing Loki's low chuckles from behind you.

"I would suggest you leave before the mother of my children tears your head off," Loki suggests with a fake worried tone.

The girl finally walks off – shaking her head at the event that just unfolded. You and Loki walk off and start laughing – finding it hilarious that she even tried to be that bold.

"What do you say we go and start getting everything we need for our two little ones?" Loki suggests – a smile on his face as he bends down to capture your lips.
