no bc i just had an idea for a painting and i love it but i also feel like it might be stupid or cliché but also i want it to be my first like big project. ofc i’ve done like small things that i pur a lot of time and effort into but it’s always mostly small things and mostly sketches or fanart tbh i hardly ever make full pieces especially full pieces that are original and i have this ginormous canvas that’s bigger than i am i think that my dad got me for christmas like a million years ago and it’s always been so intimidating so i haven’t used it but i want this painting to be huge and i want it to convey so much emotion but it’s also so entirely outside my comfort zone and skill level so ik if i attempt it now it will only kill whatever inspiration and motivation i have. it is everything i struggle with, especially the fact that i want it to convey heavy emotion and i have never successfully been able to achieve that in any of my art. i have no idea what my painting style is. but also as much as i hate to think ab how outside my comfort zone it is, if i can actually push myself to do this and work on it enough and practice and be proud of the result i think it could potentially be a huge breakthrough for me. i still don’t have most of the composition worked out. i need to be less rigid with my art and i need to be ok with my idea evolving and changing and shit like that. how do i do that.
