“Was that your owner?”, Sansy asked as he pointed at your retreating form.

Crimson looked over his shoulder only to catch a glimpse of your back, before you vanished in the crowd in the hallway. With a small but fond smile he turned back to Sansy and nodded.

“Yeah, that’s Forest.”

“She looks nice”, the smaller bitty remarked and slumped further down on his fluffy pillow.

“Doesn’t just look nice”, Crimson mumbled, before he looked more closely at Sansy. He smirked when he noticed that it looked like the small skeleton would be swallowed up by the pillow any moment. “Ya’re a lazy one aren’t ya?”

“You got me. Don’t call the cops on me, I won’t resist A Rest.” With a cheeky grin he winked at the bigger bitty, who snickered in return.

That fucking asshole! Fine the other didn’t want to listen, so this would be his own goddamn fault! With an enraged growl Crimson pounced on the arrogant bitty and wrestled him to the ground, who yelped out of surprise.

“NO FIGHTING PLEASE!”, the Blue pleaded frantically next to them, but was ignored by Crimson.

Just as he was about to bite Boss a new voice sounded.

“Hey now, don’t let him get under your skin.”

The skeleton turned his head and looked at your face, whereupon he could see how your eyes wandered. It was barely noticeable, but your eyes were weakly glowing. Come to think of it why did your eyes glow red? It had to do with your vampirism…

“Why do yar eyes glow red sometimes?”, he whispered his question, so that he hopefully wouldn’t frighten away any animals with his voice.

You paused and looked at him out of the corner of your eyes, before you watched your surroundings again.

“When I use my magic for my powers they usually glow. The more magic I use the stronger the glow gets. They can also glow when I experience strong emotions, more often than not it happens when I’m angry”, you answered in a hushed tone.

A panicked yelp escaped him, when the door was literally kicked open with such a force that the door was taken off its hinges.

“Watch out!” He barely registered your alert cry, as he saw the door flying towards him, threatening to crush him underneath it. Terrified for his life he froze up and shut his eye sockets tightly out of reflex. He didn’t want to die like this!

When you opened the fridge, you noticed the last two blood bags in the back of it. Until now you hadn’t realized how famished you felt. Which was weird. You drank yesterday from your friend. The fairy’s blood should satisfy you for at least three days. You guessed today’s shopping trip demanded much more from you than you had realized.

With a quick glance into the living room to make sure that Crimson was still asleep, you grabbed one of the bags and bit into it without hesitation. You sucked greedily until the blood bag was completely empty. You threw the bag into the trash can, looked at it critically and quickly pushed some other trash over it to hide it from sight.
