Currently 4 a.m. and I am trying to sleep. I had to stop because I had a thought. 2017 wasn’t real.

When I see people hating on everything new, I don’t think of it as edgy or mysterious. I just think of the bigots during the 60s’ and 70s’ that hated the changing times. The people that wished it was like how it was in the 20s’. I know you’ve all heard people say “I wish I was born in the 70s’” or compare fashion now to then, saying how fashion has been so downgraded. Shouldn’t modernization be a good thing?? In a hundred years we’re going to look back at these times and think “how did they do it?”. Like how we do to the 1920s’. We still have racism. We still have sexism. The system is the same as it was then, how do you think it can be good for the new generations?

Anyways, change is not bad. Fight the system, even if it worked for people in the 50s, (heavy on the if because it only worked if you were a white man) doesn’t mean it will work for the new breed of people we have now. We are totally different from our parents, and their parents.

I’m just saying, I think it goes against your instinct to be traditional. To so blindly hold the same values and beliefs as your parents. We expect that of our children, to have the same beliefs as us. But they are different people, you can give them all of the same experiences as you and they will be a different outcome.

Also, don’t hate on people that are fighting the system. Just because it works for you, doesn’t mean it might for them. Wouldn’t you want that for someone? If something wasn’t working for them they did their best to change it? That doesn’t make them sensitive. It makes them brave, and strong. They saw inequality, and they are doing their best to fix it.

Why do some people hav such a problem with that?? If you have any sense of history what so ever, you would learn that change is good! I don’t understand how conservatives can have an issue with liberals. All they want is freedom! Not the kind of freedom that lets you aim a gun at a 7 year old. The kind of freedom that lets you send your child to school free of worry.

As I said before, just because an amendment passed in 1791 worked for them then, doesn’t mean that type of thing would work for us now. You know what else was okay in 1791? slavery, rape, abuse etc.. It physically pains me to have to explain this to certain people, because they are just not willing to learn. I’m not trying to threaten your way of life, I’m trying to protect myself. And my child’s. Those type of people are the ones that claim that your melanin levels or your Y chromosome determine your rights. Your basic human rights. Someone explain that to me.

It’s honestly so enraging.

Okay but like the reason why Monster high was the fucking shit was because there were so many diverse characters on there. I’m so sick of hearing old ass people fight diversity, because like even the capitalist benefit.
