june 15, 2023 | don’t mistake kindness for weakness

got myself a new study table!! now i am motivated to study more because of how spacious it is! now i have a different compartment for my things and believe me, my study area now is not that clattered because i’ve arrange my books, electronics, and other things now.

i also got a small care package for my friends, and i can’t wait to give this to them. i just really hope they’ll appreciate this. 💐

one thing i need to start living by is “become the thing that you want” if i want friends who throw themed parties maybe i should start throwing those parties. if i want someone who writes me love letters maybe i should start writing letters for the people i love. if i want to hang out at museums and pretty cafes maybe i should invite my friends to these places. and maybe even then i won’t find the kind of people i want to be around. but then i would have become the exact person i want to be around. and maybe that’s good enough.

May 14, 2023 | coffee shop hopping is new to me and sometimes I got too overwhelmed by the new people I see and how you could pick up different personality from them just by looking.

it’s been a while tumblr and literally, a lot has been happening. one, i’m inlove again; two, i can’t wait to get over it because again this is one-sided love. as a student, and as someone who is growing old and preparing to go out in the society outside school, i just can’t help but to just feel scared of how some of people and i am included are in a quest to look for someone to be with (especially if you really want to spend your life to someome) and i’d love to be with someone i can be truly myself with.

however, it’s also very hard to trust someone nowadays. lol, i guess i just have to focus on university and just pursue what i really aspire in life.

december 22, 2022 | a lot has happened, like literally.

good day everyone! i hope everyone will have a very pleasant and festive christmas and new year 😊 a lot has happened to me, and here’s the breakdown:

passed my research defense proposal

medical transcription class 1 is finished for this semester!

watch avatar at the cinema yesterday!

christmas (holiday) vacation is on!!

hence, i wasn’t able to post actively since i was very busy with academic and clinical rotation, plus add my research paper which actually made me bought this 2023 journal and a to-do-list paper as my stress reliever lol. my break time was constantly filled with me just sleeping. and now i can’t wait to be productive as always but still do things that i’ve been wanting to do! perhaps i’ll just keep this account posted for several days on what’s gonna happen.

by the way, i can’t wait to use this 2023 journal that i bought last week! i usually buy an undated dotted victoria journal, so i can design it in a way that i want, but i opted for something unusual and i don’t usually go for; this 2023 journal is already designed with templates and themes and let’s just see how i’ll play with it using my own designs soon.

nov. 2, 2021 | all saint’s day.

happy halloween ya’ll, i’ve had a very long yet stressful weekend due to the fact that i haven’t met my own deadline. however, overall non-academic wise i’ve had a very fruitful weekend.

holiday weekend in a nutshell:

clean the house (twice)

rewrite my notes on research

organize my notes on med-surge

met with my friend and she gave me these classic books!! (pride and prejudice, wuthering heights, and sense and sensibility)

bought this plant and it is called joy pathos! for only 2$

finished study med-surge (only the handouts)

currently studying on research!!

unfortunately, there are still a lot of things that i need to do, but i chose not to pressure myself over the things i can’t do since i still have a lot of time.

October 12, 2022 | i’m having a cuppa and one cookie as a snack after my first and last meal today. i just finished my first subject for this prelim exam and even if i have the overwhelming feeling of just start studying, i know it won’t do me good and i’ll just waste my time, so after this snack, i’m going to take a power nap.

by the way, do u have this profound feeling of appreciation and warmthness whenever your mom or any of your loved ones would give you a food while you’re still doing or doing whatever you are doing? because you know, it means they really thought of you which is kinda nice. i just love my family so much.

anyways, goodluck to me folks, i still have to review research and gerontology which i haven’t started reviewing tbh which makes me nervous.

September 17, 2022 | today has been a productive day 🍂

today has been a productive day so far because i attended two classes, NCM114 and MedTrans1 which I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion and the activity.

now i’m currently listening to the vid lect my prof in Nursing Research has posted so I’d have a little idea how to really formulate a research topic so I’d have an organize process on conducting our research bc it is really true; the research topic/tittle will really affect how your research goes.

September 15, 2022 | the day where my research proposal got approved.

hello tumblr, today i decided to post every significant events that happened so somehow i could keep track of them and look back in the future whenever i need some inspiration.

today, we had our first ever nursing research face-to-face lecture class, and guess what happened? my partial problem that i’d like to use on my research got approved by my prof without even asking for our research design, sampling procedure, or even type of questionnaire. but still, that made me happy because i never thought that my proposal would be accepted easily.

currently re-writing my notes on med-surg since our prof requires us to only write our notes and not encoded, which somehow makes me happy because i got an excuse to not encode my notes.
